Floaroma Town | Morning 3
[[Schnoofie's POV]]
I landed to the ground, listening to what the monkey said with an annoyed twist to my features. "Who cares if she was burned? Dump the mouse in the river and we are all good," I mused outloud, my voice a sneer. My lip curled up in a smirk as i spoke, folding my wings firmly against my body as I stood. I errupted into giggles after the statement, the sandshrew and the monkey having ran off. "Cause.. she's... weak.. water," I was almost finding it hard to breathe as I chuckled at my dark humor.
But of course Schnorfle would not approve.
I felt pain errupt from the back of my head as the much larger swoobat's wind cuffed me. My attached ears flattened as I turned to glare at him. "That wasn't funny and you know it," he growled, his mouth a deep frown, mirroring my own scowl. He is still in danger mode, I realized with an inward sigh. I hate it when he is like this.
"Yes, master," I responded, my voice dripping with sarcasm as I took to the air. Schnorfle's back was to me as his calculating gaze rested upong the town where the two had dissappeared. I showed only bad attitude twords him and I knew he was thinking of weather or not to fallow them, to 'protect' them.
And that was why I couldn't take my eyes off of him.
He suddenly swerved around to face me and i quickly hardened my eyes as to not give my thoughts and feelings away. "What?" I groled.
Schnorfle rolled his eyes but replied in a calm tone. "They seen to have run past the pokecenter, near the house we where staying in. We still don't know if there is a danger, so let us follow them to-"
"To keep them safe,' I interrupted with a loud sigh. "Fine. Let's go." I met his irritated gaze with my own, but I could tell that the weight of the situation was lifting for his eyes suddenly brightened and he grinned wide. That is the swoobat I know.
"Come on!" He called in an excited voice, taking to the sky and heading in their direction, me right on his tail.
