"15...16...17.." Desperately he wanted to leap out of the tree and start searching but he had to finish counting first. He hurried the numbers along
"21..22..23.." but couldn't help himself any longer and jump straight to
"30!" Plant made his way down to the ground practically panting in excitement. As much as he wanted to call out the usual
"Ready or not here comes me!" the young Pokemon knew, or at least hoped, that his new friends were too far away in their hiding places to hear him. Instead he simply chuckled to himself and darted off out of the forest and into the city to begin his search.
The Snivy looked around for his three friends, unsure of where to start. He glanced down at the ground, noticing that the wind had since moved his trail of leaves. Well, the wind does that.
"Hehe.." He couldn't spot any legs or limbs from the ground though. So Plant thought that maybe, if he, if he looked from higher up it might help?
"Yeah!" Great idea! The Snivy ran up to the nearest building, agilely climbing his way to the top of the Gym to scout from the others.
"No way you can hide from me!" He was gonna get them!

The Snover wandered around in the trees, confused on his goal and unsure of where he should be hiding this round. He wished to go explore the city and find some humans to complete his mission but he also wanted to think of another great hiding spot. As a frost tree himself this park was probably the best spot to hide in the entire city.. the twitching in his stomach distracted Verglas back to his other thought.
Im hungry.. With one branchy hand on his stomach the Snover forgot about hiding, about the humans he needed to find, about the one he needed to help. Eat first hide after! Yes, that is what he would do.
In the back of his mind staying in the trees was a comforting and good idea. He was used to the foliage overhead and that would make catching something to eat so much easier. So the Snover walked along quietly looking for food. And there it was, the smallest rustling in the leaves and a shadow moving through the tree branches alerted him that he was not alone. Shuffling in place the dual type threw several Razor Leaves up at the shadow. It didn't cry but the sounds of rustling leaves increased as it fled the attack. The Shadow sought refuge in the higher and higher branches, dangerously balancing on spindly limbs.
Verglas was not to be daunted by its fleeing and continued to launch his Razor Leaf attack at his chosen prey. A few would hit, a few wouldn't, but the creature ran from them all until it ran out of space to ascend. Silhouetted by the sun the species still couldn't be identified. He shot more of his Leaves at the Pokemon, now trapped by its own attempts to escape. Soon it was cring out in pain as they cut into its body in multiple areas. Scrabbling at the branches it seemed it would fall at any moment. This excited the Snover until he launched his Powder snow. The
ccrrrtt as the ice froze its paws to the limb it was suspended on was like music to him. Panic overtook the Pokemon. Flailing and writhing about there was no escape but down. And down it went. With all the movement, shaking, and weight upon it the branch snapped from its base, the Pokemon frozen to it by the feet.
It crashed down and down, colliding with branches as it fell to the earth below uttering shrieks of pain. Sickening cracking sounds could be heard: if it was bones or branches was unclear. Finally the Pokemon was out of the trees as it smashed against the ground with many other large branches and small limbs crushing it as they came down as well. Verglas stumbled his way over to his prey and he identified it was confusion and surprise.
"Mr. Rio?" Though the words toppled from his mouth they didn't registrar in his brain as it was only focusing on food. The dead Liepard lay on the ground in an unnatural position as its broken spine jutted awkwardly from its pelt. The glazed look to his eyes almost made Verglas believe it was a different Liepard altogether. There was a long moment of silence as he stared at the big cat, unsure what to do next. Infectious instinct took over, unable to be ignored in his time of hunger, and the Snover began to devour the fresh meat to his pleasure.
He ate until full, hardly able to consume even a fragment such a large meal. Carefully, Verglas wiped his long arms on the grass around him and rubbed leaves across his face in attempts to clean up a bit. Memories of what he was doing previously arose as the urge to feed was momentarily stifled. He had to go hide! He hurried a few steps away but stopped, as he felt leaving what was left of Rio there didn't seem right. The Snover took in a deep breath, and blew his Powder Snow at the corpse until it was completely iced over. Though it was a bit odd looking in the middle of the brown and green trees, it was no more then a white icy snowhill now. Perfect.
With a nod, the Snover wandered off to quickly find somewhere to hide before he ran into his other friends, not even fazed by the actions he had just committed.
