Plant 42 | Kitty 8[Raining] Every sound around him was deafening. Every splatter of rain, splash of a puddle, hard beat of his heart, cry of a friend.. Plant's head was swimming with over stimulation. Already he is panting but from fear not exhaustion. Why was thing here? Why when it was finally becoming nice again.. His pace slows a bit without notice while he wipes again salty tears from his eyes with the sleeve of the sweater. Rain drops hit it and fade in, attempting to soak through the soft material.
Why is this happening.. The Snivy squeezes his large eyes shut and presses forward. Yet something nags at his insides making his stomach churn uncomfortably. This was all so.. wrong. So horribly, terribly wrong.
His pace lags.
"Plant, what do we do?" The Seviper asked pitifully. He looks down on his new small serpent friend. Was she, asking for his leadership? A few more steps and he stops altogether. Of the three of them he was the oldest, or at least he thought he was. Kitty seemed to of vanished, hiding somewhere else, but her age is an completely unknown to him regardless.
Leader? Templar, his other new friend.. He was fighting like a true leader, a protector. Like a
parent. Plant's voice gets caught in his thought as the word clicks inside. Its difficult to breathe as he mumbles looking away from the Seviper.
"Get Verglas to take you home." By 'home' he was referring to his nest but this entire city was his home.
"You'll be okay there." The Snivy's heart lurches hard in his chest with a painful thump. An
oof sound turns his head to see Verglas stumble over onto the wet ground.
"Verg!" Quickly he dashes over to help the Snover back to his feet. With a gwuick glance over the dual type seems to be alright. Just a little trip up..
"You gotta take care of Lam." He says with a dry urgency. Plant's eyes catch sight of something that toppled away from his brother in the fall. His heart stops and a tear falls from his eyes that is lost in the rain. The Snivy's eyes grow dark and he looks down for several moments simply staring toward the plastic cup. Verglas had gotten that for him.. Kitty had came to see him and was now missing.. Little La was separated from the Zangoose and afraid.
He knew what he was going to do.
Grabbing the insides from the cup the Snivy jams it deep in his frontal pocket.
"Plant! Verglass!" The Seviper cries with the sound of pain. Whipping his head around his orange-brown eyes see the child being pelted by ice chunks.
Ice.. The painful bits of false stone smack against him as well and Plant's short arms instinctively go to his head for protection. This had happened before but the trees were much thicker and caught most the pieces. Moving back to La he fans his thick tail over her for a moments respite while grabbing a large leaf from the surrounding shrubbery with his vines. Delicately he drapes it over the child.
"It is just ice. Go with Verglas." He whispers softly before quickly darting away from both Pokemon, not allowing time for a rebuttal. The grass snakes streamline body moves swiftly back the way he had come. This was his home. His family.
His choice. The pooling water splashes with each step of his feet and soaks the red material upon him. No one was going to take these things away from him without his say so. Templar's white fur comes into view before the shell of the lengthy brown form. The Zangoose had told him to run but he was not the boss.
Not of me. A hot rage burns within his heart. That blasted Monster didn't belong here.
Rounding the corner of another building a voice calls out to him,
"Wrong way wrong way way." The Caterpie was still held up in her lookout, blinking her red eyes at the return of her friend. He had left why was he coming back!
"Kitty go home." The hiss was firm and the Snivy did not stop for her. Disappointment and confusion bubble through her body until the bug is utterly stumped. White Kitty said to go hide but Plant said to go home. Hide at home? Hide now! Her brightly colored body shakes off any droplets of water that had fallen beaded on it.
"Plant, Plant!" She squeals loudly climbing out of the tree.
Going wrong way wrong way. Since he was not going toward home, she would have to help him! Her pudgy body can not keep up but she see can still see the Snivy. Stopping dead in his tracks Plant grits his teeth. Standing firm the ends of two vines peak there way out into the rain. His lips draw back to reveal tiny fangs making his face look more serpentine then ever.
"You don't belong here!" He hisses loudly, thrusting his tail to send a shower of leaves toward the monster.
