Snowpoint City | Late Morning
Hera 37 | Yon-co 15
Yon-co
Alice said something... Something about Dante, the Houndusk creature, but it just flew right over my head. Snapping eyes shut in desperation, I tried to concentrate on her voice. But it was proving to be too difficult. I ended up opening the dark orbs to give her a blank look, my own gaze borderline frightened.
It was only then that I realized the Nidoking had messed me up much, much worse than originally thought.
"Alice... M-my head..." I never got through my entire train of thought, though. I needed to communicate with her but it was oh so difficult with the pounding within my skull and the loud ringing that would not stop from within my ears. But it was not the Luxray that haulted my words; a sudden living shadow twirling around and making a racket with it's searching. I blinked lazily at it, not completely refistering the foul scent and glowing eyes, as I slowly wondered what exactly it was looking for. But when it was in front of us all of a sudden, that was when I noticed Alice standing before me. "A- Ali-" I started to cry out in alarm, but the creature was speaking then.
I had no flippin' idea what it said, but it sounded like a chick when it spoke. But there was a skin crawling horror that crept up my spine at her voice. It was almost as if a deep rooted... just... I could not even think of the words to describe it, instead just setting for that the chick looked like something out of your wildest nightmares. Something very bad. But then she was up and gone, only then did I notice the hole in the floor, and when I heard Alice mutter a curse my mind cleared up enough for me to glare at her. "Alice! You have to go after her- they might need your help!" I barked, suddenly not feeling so light headed. I managed to stand up then, my paws still numb but workable. Taking a risk, I shot in the direction of the hole, my chubby legs carrying me roughly but steadily. "She better not touch anyone that will hurt Hera," I hissed under my breath.
Wounds are not always physical, as I am beginning to learn.
Oh... Oh shit.
I allowed the rare curse to escape my mind, not caring anymore at that point, as I stared up at the huge thing. "Wh- what is that?!" I cried out, wide eyed gaze firmly stuck on the bear. I had traveled around Johto very extensively, as well as Kanto and parts of Sinnoh, but this was one of those rare species I had absolutely no name for. I bit my tounge, flattening the remainder of my ears as I waited for the next severe blow. The blood on my face from the small inevitible wound within my mouth filled my nose and it was difficult to scent around me, so when Ciara suddenly came to my aide, I could have fainted with releif. But I only tensed up again when someone came over with her.
My pelt spiked up instinctively as I eyed the Manectric, fear and suspicion clear within my orange gaze. He did not appear to be an immediate threat, but he was massive. The species he was has always been known for their impressive height, but he surely towered over me. I completely missed the exchange going on between the two Hoenn canines and only came back to when he approached, Ciara on his back. I strugged to get to my paws as he howled. "Who... Wh-who are you?" I hissed, many pains flashing through my eye as I fought to remain strong as I questioned him. "Where did you come-" I broke off with the siren's scream of Dante's name. Then in a upright sitting position, I craned my neck and ignored the blood from my old wound slowly pooling beneath me as it seeped through the half torn bandages.
The sight sent my tail straight up in horror behind me.
One of the famous species I had not had the misfortune to encounter personally, I watched with growing fear as the oviously infected Zoroark tackled the demonic canine. As she coddled him with a very creepy and disturbing gusto, it was clear that trouble was only just beginning. As Strix took notice of the scene, my heart skipped a beat. Oh no. Not Strix. There was unnerving vibes coming from the Zoroark and I could very clearly feel the tension of a brutal fight in the air. "Strix," I whispered. Then I was on my paws. Completely ignoring the wounds I had already suffered and forgetting the Manectric, I stumbled to my paws. My demenor changed within heart beats- gaze suddenly becoming feirce, I heald my head low and hissed with fury, showing the fircness that only a feline could. Ears flat against my head, I ran over to the growing situation.
I did not care about my own wounds. I had to help these Pokemon. They were not stangers anymore. They were my family. They were...
"Strix!" They are much more. "I... I love you!"
I was at his side by then, keeping a safe distance due to his fiersome attacks, and my gaze was full of a burning determination as my stance heald a power and readiness for a fight. I tried catching his eye, my own sparking with many strong emotions. It had taken so long to realize something so simple, and a million apologies could have passed my tounge before expressing how exactly I felt, but it hardly mattered. It had to be said. "Now let's help Dante." A brilliant smirk split my face, the blood actually clotting and coming to a lazy stop beneath me. I could fight and I would. Not caring about any type disadvantages, I turned my gaze to the she-fox from where she had suffered from the Nidoking's attack. "Don't touch him again," I hissed, my eyes coming to a glow as I readied a Psy Beam attack.
