| History | Jolt was born to a breeder. An older woman whom knew the tricks of the trade. She was shocked that the Eevee egg was vibrant shades of red and she quickly took measures to make sure the youngster inside was alive and well. When the egg did hatch, the Eevee regarded her with wide, brilliant ruby eyes, her pelt all shades of light crimson to a deep scarlet. The woman was thrilled. She had a very fine eye for beauty and she saw something in the pup. Almost immediately she began to train the baby Eevee. She trained her mind as well as her body, forcing the baby Eevee to do a variety of mind games and agility courses. By the time she was a few years old, the old woman decided she was ready. She wished for something original for the Eevee, to evolve into someone people would remember. She finally settled on an Espeon, taking the crimson Eevee outside into the sunlight to train everyday. But she never evolved. Despite how pampered and healthy the youngster was kept, the Eevee never felt love or friendship from the woman. She was a tool and knew it, but never really cared about that. She was okay with it. But regardless, she was not evolving from love anytime soon. Frustrated, the woman decided to use a stone on her instead, and a stunning ruby Vaporeon was before her. She held herself high and proud, smiling softly at the human. But there was evil in her soul. The older woman saw nothing but a chance to make money off of the beautiful creature before her. Soon the training became worse. She treated the water type terribly, feeding her once every few days and limiting how often she could get to water. She was starving to death, her ribs showing as her health deteriorated so quickly. But the old woman was blinded by madness. She only saw a beauty she was bringing out in the Pokemon. They entered into their first contest when she was a fully grown adult. No one spared a second glance until it was their time to go up on stage. The Vaporeon went through her routine, twirling around and showing off her moves. But she was panting with exhaustion and passed out in the middle of the performance. The judges were furious. They arrested the woman for Pokemon cruelty and sent the Vaporeon to the Pokemon Center. She awoke a few days later from her coma, stunned with the wonderful treatment she received. The Eeveelution purred happily, grateful for the food and freshwater pool she was given. She soon became a favourite to the staff of the hospital in the weeks she stayed there recovering. One of the members pointed out the irony of a red water type and jokingly called her Jolt, and the name stuck. Jolt became must sweeter and affectionate to the humans there, always being there for them if they needed a hug. But, after an amount of time, Jolt had recovered completely and was put up for adoption. The staff were crushed to see her go but thrilled that she was healthy. Several people wanted to take the rare Pokemon, but the agency did their research. Due to her hard past they wanted her to go to the best home possible. They found it when a Pokemon Ranger named Ryler applied to take her. The woman was amazing at her job, her famous name known well across the world, and she already had two Eeveelution parts with her. There was no hesitation in letting her adopt Jolt. For many years Ryler traveled with Jolt, Flare the blue Jolteon, and her trusty Espeon. After a short time she adopted Vapor, a golden Flareon, and the entire team was made. For many years they traveled around the world. They were all trained and Ryler took advantages of their strengths and weaknesses, balancing each other out until they were a nearly unbeatable team. Together they helped many Pokemon and people, arresting criminals and saving Pokemon. It was a fantastic life. But, despite the many years spent together, fate was cruel. The Epidemic struck and everyone was forced to release their Pokemon. Ryler lost her title and status as Rangers were disbanded. It broke the human's heart. But then she was forced to release her four trusted Pokemon partners. She refused, even having to be physically grabbed and arrested before dragged away. This frightened Jolt. What was so terrible they would take their human from them? The four traveled on their own for a long time. Having been allies for so long, it was child's play protecting each other. But one day, after months of surviving, there was an odd anomaly and Jolt found herself in Rustboro. Utterly confused as to what happened, she has stayed there for many months. Meeting other survivors, she learned that the teleportation was common ad no one could explain it. Distraught, she headed off on her own to search for her family. But more months passed and still no sign. Desperate, she found herself looking through worse and worse environments, even going into the growing blizzards and ice of Snowpoint. Desperate, she still hopes she will find someone, anyone, who can help her. |
| Appearance | "Vaporeon is a composite creature sharing physical traits of aquatic and land animals. It is a quadruped with three small toes on each foot and dark blue paw pads on the hind feet. Vaporeon's body is light blue with dark blue ridge around its head and as a ridge down its back. This Pokémon has a split tailfin that has been mistaken for a mermaid's in the past. It has a white ruff around its neck, and three fins around its head made of cream-colored webbing. It is said that rain will come within a few hours if Vaporeon's fins begin to vibrate." Jolt has a fairly unique coloring and appearance. She is literally the polar opposite to normal Vaporeon. Instead of being deep blues and cerulean... She is completely red. Jolt has a very beautiful body and would be adored even if she were not a Vaporeon, a Goddess of beauty. Her legs are long and very strong, ending in small toes, but her tail is just as long and very powerful, ending with fantastic fins on the end. Her stomach is just a little sucked in, world of the Epidemic being harsh and making food difficult to find. Thus her slight rib showing. Her neck is fairly long but that is also normal for her species. In the sunlight her brilliant crimson scales glitter and shine just like any other Vaporeon. Jolt is just red. Red, red, red. Her entire body is a soft cherry red. The markings upon the crest and fins of her head are a deeper and darker almost crimson, the many spinal fins running down her spin the same darker red. The actual membrane skin parts of the fins upon her head and neck like a collar are soft, almost pink. They are much lighter than the rest of her body. Her eyes are the same shade of beautiful sapphire of normal Vaporeon, only they are now deep splendid crimson, an inner light seeming to shine through. Jolt is a very motherly figure as well as having been formally trained to appeal to the judges with grace; she walks slowly and with purpose, giving the illusion that each step is planned. Precise. Her tail normally hanging lazily behind her. But she always holds her head up high out of authority, not arrogance. Her eyes are always half closed, a smile on her face as she regards others with an almost sympathetic smile that makes you want to just be closer to her. |

She holds looks very important to her, believing strongly in first impressions and making others like her. She speaks in very formal ways, knowing how to smile and meet the eyes of those she speaks to to make them really feel important. She is a very social Pokemon and thrives on attention. But at the same time, Jolt is not an egotistical Pokemon. She has a soft voice, never raising her tone, and tends to be very friendly. Jolt can be a fantastic leader when the situation arises. She loves to help those that need it, especially children. She never wants to have her own young and makes up for it with helping young Pokemon whenever she can. She does not want a mate and can become a little short with any males that try to hit on her. She will become very short with them and very clearly say no. She has no problem with having male companions, but wants nothing more than that. Jolt almost always has a happy smile on her face, tending to always have an inner glow in her eyes while smiling happily at those around her. She can be a very calm individual and little really bothers her. She knows her strengths as well as weaknesses, able to avoid bad situations or just rough her way through. Jolt is not entirely against fighting but would much rather try to talk it out instead. She is know for using her Aqua Ring on allies who need it, as well as using Haze to help those around her. |
| User Notes | - She was the healer of the group. Her moves mostly revolve around healing or helping her team mates, but no healer can be completely helpless, thus her higher level. Flare's profile and Vapor's profile. - Small for a Vaporeon - Due to her coloring, whenever she melts into or out of the water, she looks just like a stain of blood before becoming solid or completely invisible - Much prefers to walk on water than swim through it these days but will gladly hop into a clean stream or lake to calm her nerves -The move tutor techniques were taught while in Unova a few years ago (and went by B2W2 move tutor rules, since she is a little older). -Only edits made since was was last active was profile update to a table, spelling corrections, addition to her history to explain her in Snowpoint, and a change for her Move set. (As I now have information on competitive Pokemon, I changed her moveset to be much more of what I would run personally as a supportive Vaporeon, even with her only offensive moves lowering speed or chance of burning.) |
