I'm sorry, but I have to do this.... I am a MASSIVE Blue fan -he is just my favorite Pokemon character EVR- but I can't beleive they are calling him Green in this anime special...it genuinely upsets me because I think that simple fact just...ruined all of this for me...I cqn't even watch the trainer or whatever....

I believe they named him as such because in Japan the games were originally released as red and green.

But the Trainer, the eight gym leader in Kanto for SS/HG was named Blue....>: I won't complain, I am just sharing my own opinion. Just really upsetting that my favorite character was so butchered x:

The cloud storage idea came during the development of Pokémon Crystal.

Following the information from the Pokémon Direct, the official release has provided new details on the Pokémon. Mega Venusaur has the ability Thick Fat, Mega Charizard has the ability Drought and Mega Blastoise has the ability Mega Launcher which boosts its moves. It also confirmed that you will need to obtain a bracelet called the Mega Ring that holds a mysterious stone called a Key Stone. The Trainer’s Key Stone resonates with the Mega Stone held by his or her Pokémon. In addition to that, various screenshots were added. Check the image to go to the page
It was also revealed that Pokémon Bank & Pokémon Transporter prevent hacked Pokémon from transferring and work with multiple copies of the games.
Pokémon Bank, and with it Pokémon Transporter, for sale in Japan on December 25th for 500¥ a year with a trial until January 31st where you have to pay afterwards

I was hoping that this wouldn't happen to the original starters - they're awesome enough already.

I really hope that they don't overdo this mega-evolution thing. I doubt I'll use it anyway - all these Pokemon I like just the way they are.

I can honestly say I an disappointed in the mega evolution gen 1 starters. They're boring. To me. ;w; I probably won't use them.

They would only last as a temporary form but retains the same name. Kinda like Kyurem when fused with reshiram and zekrom.

Shadow is right. Mega Evolution is completely optional and only used during battle. That form is not permanent and wears off son as the battle ends. You can still have one of the gen one starters and never use the Mega Evolutions.

Those sneaky buggers ended up giving out a brand new Pokemon in their trailer for the three newest Meg Evolution.


When thy showed this, I believe they were talking about MegaLucario then MegaAbsol, so I dismissed this as just an Absol, but clearly they tricked me! |D Though it does have an uncanny resemblance to Absol.

Oh god, please say they're not making a pre-evo.... I certainly hope not

Thing is, it doesnt even have a lot of the Absoly features. If they did make a prevo, I really doubt this would be it, but that is only my opinion.

No proof on this one, but I have seen this floating around that all of these Pokemon will be getting MegaEvolutions.

Mewtwo will have his awakened form which I find rather unique as for the rest gonna have to wait till more information comes in.

Though on that note, there are rumors and reasons to believe that Mewtwo gets a different MegaEvolution for both X and Y. Don't know if anyone else has heard, but just thought I would toss it out there. Obviously not confirmed.

Oh and in other news, they've confirmed Garchomp's Mega evolution, and they confirmed a few new pokemon, Torimian, Nyaonikusu (male and female), Amarusu and Chigorasu. :3

They also confirmed the separate Mewtwo Mega evolutions. One for X and one for Y. They just debuted Mewtwo X, and I am guessing the form released earlier was Y's.
