((Terribly sorry, but homework, the holidays, and family is making it so that i barely have time to even post this....please skip me for now.))

Rook noticed how loud he was crying in an instant. Kitana, whose name he overheard in a conversation with Kide, came over to him and asked, "What's the matter? Lost someone important to you?"

Rook nodded and rubbed his eyes. "Yes, I did. I lost everything..." He then proceded to tell her the whole story on his undead mother and how she murdered his trainer. "...after I found my mother, she tried to attack me. I just kept running, not knowing how far she was behind me. Then I ran into Kide, and, well, the rest is history. I swear to god as soon as I find my mother, I'm gonna kill that bitch!"

She heard the Pawniard's story with attention about what had happened to him. Kitana didn't seemed to show any emotion...just an unfortunate soul that had a dreadful past nothing more, her own past wasn't shiny at all.

"I understand your rage and wish for vengeance but it will take you to nowhere. Eventually your target is already dead...killed by some other survivor or by some desperate infected.

Kide was bored, he had nothing to do but listen to Kitana and Rook talk, and he didn't feel like joining in with them. He simply cause what they where talking about didn't interest him all that much, just about Rook losing his mother to the infection. Kide never knew his mother, he had been with his trainer since birth, and he didn't really care for one now anyway.

He looked out at the dying fire in the distance, watching as the forest area was reduced to nothing but ash. Kide let out a sigh before closing his eyes for some rest after a hard day of losing everyone he met.

Once the drying blood was drank, and what little meat he could get to was eaten, NightMare felt reborn. The only problem was what to do next, he could go find the one that had hurt him, made him practically crippled, or he could go off and feed again, find different prey. Both appealed to him, yet he was at an impasse. The only certain thing was that he wanted meat, warm and fresh meat to sedate his lust. and to burn

NightMare looked around confusedly, there was no one around, no one that could have possibly have said that. It was possible some psychic pokemon was communicating to him telepathically, but it didn’t feel like that. you wish to burn The owner of the voice had obviously been watching him when he set fire to the tree covered area, it wasn’t intentional, but the running excited him, and fire always came when he was excited, he had been so focused on re-learning to run that he had lost himself for a few moments. lost in the fire, one with the fire, you and the fire where one. That last statement made no sense at all, he admitted he did get lost in a trance like state while on fire, but becoming the fire was impossible. entirely possible By this point NightMare was getting annoyed, some random voice was spewing random things, and the fact that he couldn’t put a stop to it was infuriating…

Burn it all, burn everything, leave only ashes. No annoying pokemon, no hassles, no annoyances, only fire, and ashes. He didn’t like taking orders, but the idea was starting to grown on him……

((was gonna kill him off, but thought i'd try to go another way with him, sort of give him another chance....))

Kitana's words entered Rook's ears and he suddenly reached his realization. If what she said was true, then he was alone. He became depressed on the inside, knowing that Rachel was still gone. Yet on the outside, he felt relieved knowing that his mother was most likley dead anyway.

"Thank you Kitana, I needed that." He looked out towards Kide, watching the fire die out. It was actually nothing more than charred trees and smoke. "Damn, and to think that was once a forest." He looked amazed at the remains of the woods. It was safe to assume that Rapidash was dead. But if there's one thing Rook's learned in his life it's to never assume anything. He made the choice of saying his thought out loud.

"Okay, normally I would say 'That'll kill that Rapidash' but from what I've seen in the past, it's not safe to say that he's dead...for good."

The forest was quiet as the shadow of a raptor flew overhead. The morning sunlight burned on the raptor's back as she looked for her next meal. She soon reached the outer area of the Safari area.

Soon some movement catches her eye. A Persian is stalking the forest. The Raptor lets out a screech as she dive bombs the feline. You are mine! The raptor screeched as the feline lets out a blood curling scream. This scream shakes the entire forest and the surrounding area.

The raptor slow rips the feline apart and listens to the screams. Aw, music to my ears. The raptor says as the feline's blood slow falls of the raptor's beak.

(OOC:What up guys? I'm back and with a blood thirsty bird of death.XD)

A cloud seemed to dart across the sky at an unnatrual speed, it was amazing it even stayed in place. The white puff suddenly dived right towards the fire and a long arching neck and blue tail feathers where evident. It was no cloud but a pokemon.

Mars dived straight for the fire that plagued this once great place. He looked around for running pokemon, and he go his wish. A fresh, and very alive raticate was trying it's best to outpace the flames and might've succeded if from out of nowhere talons hadn't curled around him and a beak come crashing into his skull succesfully splitting it. The dragon pokemon had been gracious with this one, giving it a quick death. He carried the fresh meat away from the fire and deeper into the safari zone. Mars looked back at the ash ridden forest.

"Well someone's been irresponsible with their flames." Mars said to no one, maybe he was talking to the dead rat. Either way the blue bird pokemon landed on the ground, in a different part of the forest. A safe distance away from the hungry fire. The Altaria ripped into his meal, ignoring the blood that now covered his beak and dripped down his long neck. From afar he might look like a zombie, he mused to himself.

There was a rustling in the bushes and a hungry looking ryhdorn came out, the crumbling stone it was formed out of, the strange color changes, and its drooling set it up as one of the zombies, or a really stupid shiny. Mars smirked leaning over his kill.

"This is mine, and if you want it you'd better come and get it rockhead" He said. The infected roared, probably not understanding the actual insult but understanding the tone enough so it charged. Mars took in a deep breath and let out a Roar attack, making the ryhdorn try to stop and trip over himself. While it was struggling he shot at the rock type with dragon's breath, the colors eating up the detoriating stone body. The infected roared at this and from out of nowhere rocks flew up at the bird type who used aerial ace going down into a dive to barley dodge them. And even then he felt one fly by his tail feather.

He didn't feel worried and instead taunted the stupid thing with the carcass, lots of respect for the dead this bird had. As he shook the body the entrails and blood fell out onto the rock pokemon.

"Come and get it rocky, come and get it." Mars taunted. He was met by another rock throw, he dived low again to avoid it but it seemed that even infected could learn because the ryhdorn used takedown on him while he was in range.

Mars fell back into a tree, the ryhdorn attempted to charge into the dragon pokemon to sear through the body with the stone on his nose. But right before he got close enough there was an ear splitting screech that made the infected stop in it's tracks. Mars taking this opportunity used Roar, and in a combo between aerial ace and dragonbreath he went right through the crumbling pokemon. Leaving a hole. Mars smirked at the remains.

"Too bad you zombies can't be eaten or I'd have two meals." Facts learned from human movies. Mars pulled up the carcass with his talons and pulled off another slab of meat. He wiped at his bloody beak with his wing. After that, he decided that he might as well learn from where the screech that had probably saved his life had come from. He picked up the poor remains of the raticate and flew towards where the scream had come from.

There was several sources of strong energy, violence and loud noises all around...New arrivals? Infected desputing territory or a carcass? Hard to say...

But this was all bothering Kitana.
"You 2...follow me." she demanded to the Pawniard and Zorua, as she walked towards a wall, she kicked a rock and the wall fell back revealing a cave.
"I've been holding myself up in this cave...hidden from view of everyone, infecteds included. There's plenty of berries and food for a group of 5 survive a few months."

Rook watched as Kitana walked over to a cave and knocked down a wall. She said, "I've been holding myself up in this cave...hidden from view of everyone, infecteds included. There's plenty of berries and food for a group of 5 to survive for a few months." Rook was amazed. He had never seen someone so prepared for the epidemic as much as Kitana. "And since it's only three of us, we should be fine in there for a bit longer."

He heard screaming as he looked up at the sky. There were some dark clouds rolling in. As the clouds moved, he noticed a white cloud moving faster than the others. "Hey, Kitana, do you see that cloud moving fasted than the others?"

((OoC: Sorry about how long it took. I was unaware that everyone else ahead of me was away.))

Mars followed the screeching, probably not a good idea. Anyone who followed the strange noises usually ended up getting killed by whatever creature had created that noise. And the fact that he might as well be in the middle of a zombie movie didn't help. Mars slowed down and put the carcass down and using his wing wiped some of the blood off. If this thing was alive he might as well not look like an infected, he or she might know something about his teacher.
The blue dragon pokemon picked up the rattata again and stored it in the tree. He flew off towards the noise, not finding the scent of blood all that odd considering what was going on but he kept his senses up and listened for anything to come near.
Through the trees he spotted the source of the noise, a staraptor. Well it hadn't been the bird pokemon who'd made it but the purple cat it was making a meal of.

Melinda hopped about the wide expansions of the Safari Zone, observing in every little detail of her surroundings. This was the first time she had ever been in a Safari Zone, and she couldn't believe how huge it was. She was like a little kid going through a candy shop, wandering around and looking at everything to figure out what she liked.

Eventually though, she smellt another's presence. Her red eyes scanned the vast horizon, but she couldn't see anyone else. 'Perhaps they are elsewhere, or hiding.' she thought, and decided to track down the scents as she began to speed above ground, flying as she followed the scent. Unfortunate for her, she was never good with the whole flying mechanics and was unable to turn very well, which resulted in several trees around her falling to the ground with loud thuds.

Soon, she came to a rocky clearing or some sort. She observed her surroundings before she gave a yawn, but then immediately clamped her mouth shut. 'Maybe I should sleep for a bit...' She curled up below a tall tree, closing her eyes.

It seems a storm was comming...dark clouds were arriving...Kitana often would enjoy the sweet touch of rain touching her main and washing her worries away. Rook pointed out the existence of a strange white cloud that disappeared for a second.

A Pokemon? Kitana wasn't sure...she heard of 3 Legendary pokemon that flew in clouds. Was that cloud one of them? Hard to tell...Kitana walked inside the cave and sighed as she layed down, she could see a figure in the area of the cave, but as long as it didn't notice them it was all of what was important.

Just to make sure Kitana covered the cave with a rock wall with her illusions...It would be good in case there would be infected in the area...we never know what such unpredictable beings could do.

The moving cloud vanished before Kitana could react. Rook stood in place, just pointing at the sky. He said to himself, "I'm probably just seeing things again."

They went into the cave, which Kitana covered with a rock. Rook needed some rest, but there was something troubling him. He knows what an infected looks like. His mother is one. From what he could remember, if that was a pokemon he saw, it could be un-infected. A sign of other survivors. He looked restless, pacing all around the cave. He needed to ask it and get it out.

"That cloud I saw...I...I think it was another survivor. I don't know. If it was a Pokemon, it didn't look infected." He felt revlieved to say the least. "I'm gonna go out and follow the cloud. When I come back, I'll tap the rock three times. Okay?" Rook waited for an answer.

The raptor sat in a near by tree, resting. Blood still dripping from her beak. Something moved in the sky. She looked up and saw a cloud moving toward her. She smirked and layed her head back against the tree.

I wonder what this new prey will be and what it is. The raptor said under her breath. She wanted for the cloud to make a move. Once it did something out of line, she would attack. She would be the first to attack. No one can kill her or hurt her. This is her territory. No one else's.

"Well lookie here." Mars said eyes on the raptor, his gaurd was up the look in its eyes was a familiar one, he'd seen it in other pokemon that had been cocky about battling him. Unsurprisingly he was probably wearing the same over confident smirk that had pissed alot of fighters off. Especially after he'd beaten them.

"Nice catch you got there," The Altaria said eyeing the remains. He didn't recognize the type of pokemon, probably from some other region. He arched his neck down at the other pokemon as he landed on one of the branched "'fraid some of that blood got on your mohawk though."

When Melinda looked up, she saw a clod soaring across the sky. A Pokemon? she thought, and she began to follow the white figure, sprinting with quick, long strides. She arrive at a tree where a bloody Staraptor sat on with it's kill, whom was also eyeing the Altaria. The bird began to land.

"Nice catch you got there," Mars landed on a branch of the tree. "'Fraid some of that blood got on your mohawk though." Melinda hopped out of the bush she had been hiding in, curious about these two Pokemon. She meant no harm, but she still had her claws up and ready to strike if these Pokemon decided to hurt her.

"Hi?" she said. She didn't want to waste her voice, but she had to let these Pokemon know that she had a conscience, that she wasn't a total brute like the others.

The Pawniard wanted to go out to find what was there outside? Was he insane? Kitana growled and stepped in it's way so he couldn't go.

No way you are putting our hide out in danger. I have created the ilusion of this place be covered with rocks, if you step out of here you are not comming back. If it's living and a smart one at that it will notice the foot prints we left lead to here and will attempt to investigate. We look for our own...Unless you wish to die...You stay here. Otherwise, you can take ketchup to make yourself a better meal.

Kitana's shelter was the best she could provide...someone was trying to ruin it and she didn't wish to accept such hard work go to waste...If the Pawniard wants to go, fine...but he won't step back in if he goes out alone.

Kide silently sat at the back of the cave and watched as Kitana stopped the Pawniard for leaving. He let out a yawn before making himself more comfortable. He was bored, there was nothing to do in this place and he wanted out. "Well I don't know about the rest of you, but I want out." He said as he stood up and made his way to the entrance. "Its way to dull and boring in here." Without even waiting for a reply he used his own illusions to make himself look invisible before walking out of the cave, at lest this way no one would notice him wandering out of the cave.

When he was a good enough distance he let up his illusion that he was now visible. "Now where can I find a good place to get stronger?" He said to himself, looking around for something that could aid him. The forest part was no longer on fire, so he though about starting there, maybe he would run into that infected Rapidash. He smiled on the thought of getting the chance to take down such a strong opponent. Even at his small size he would be able to take it down. Maybe.

He had been arguing with the being he only knew as ‘The Voice’ for who knows how long, and without realizing it, time seemed to pass on by, it was strange, he didn’t know how long he had been out of it, a few minutes, maybe a few hours, hell, it even felt like a day. Talking to that voice was draining, he had been slowly eating at the crushed horse like pokemon under the rock during this time, but now he realized that he had been biting at the bones, practically chewing though it as if trying to get to the sweet, sweet prize in the center. Which was weird, he usually only ever drank the thick blood and the meat, never any other parts….No organs, no eyeballs, no bones, or anything odd.

But as he pulled away from the chewed bones, the voice stopped spoke to him again. “Not done yet are you? The meat may be gone, but there is another need that needs to be fulfilled. Don’t make me spell it out for you.” NightMare knew what it was talking about, though he could see no joy from doing it. The voice wanted him to burn, burn till there was nothing else to burn. But it was just bones, no joy, no desire, no anything from burning them.

Nightmare walked away from his meal, looking towards the area he last saw the prey run off to. It was them he wanted, not some lousy bones. As he galloped to the last known location, the charred black remains of the bones remained unnoticed by the receding rapidash.

"Hi?" A feminine voice spoke to the dragon pokemon as he waited for an answer from the raptor. He turned towards the voice to see a garchomp, but he blinked at the scent and the red eyes, she was undead. But consious?
Hmm.... maybe something like Fido? But that movie sucked...or maybe she's disguising herself as one. Or maybe...
Curious he leapt down from his perch, wings spread out as he glinded to the ground and looked at the dragon pokemon eye to eye.

The Altaria had swooped down, standing before her and staring at her straight in the eye. She blinked nervously. "Hi?" she repeated, cautious. It was intimidating looking at the bird in the eye.

"Is... There something wrong?" she was really unnerved now. The Altaria just kept on staring at her, right in the eye! He wouldn't look away! She quietly fidgeted with her claws, but decided to not look away just in case Mars decided to attack her if she did.
