No... No... NO! The Long Body pokemon voice was broken, yet again. He watched as Taro ran towards the undead, trying to help them... Yet, at that moment, as the sky above her darkened, Alex knew she wouldn't come back alive. A Hydreigon, covered in blood, came out of no where swooping down and snatching the screaming Bouffalant. It flew into the air, dropping Taro onto the ground with a loud splat. Alex shivered.
Then it started getting gory, and Alex couldn't look away. Two heads or the three tore at Taro, ripping our her insides like nobody gave a shit. They slowly tore at her, soon her screams faded and her body stopped twitching. Finally, after bones and blood were splattered everywhere, the main head smashed Taro's head, crushing the skull in with a loud "CRACK" that made Alex almost scream.
The Furret shudders as the dragon pokemon flew away; care-free. Embedded in his mind was the image of Taro's corpse slowly being eaten at, and it would probably be there for a long, long time. Alex, the world spinning around him, dizzily falls onto his back. His voice hoarse, he manages to mumble a few words, "T-Taro... W-why..." However, after sitting and thinking as his dizziness faded, he knew Taro would tell him to get up and attempt to smile. Though the short time he had known her, she felt like a mother... Same with Viator and Dave - They felt like brothers, especially Dave. Seeing Viator pulled into the shadows was horrible, indeed, but if Dave died... He didn't know what he would do.
Alex slowly gets up; taking a minute to balance himself out before standing on his paws. The day was clear now, but the ever-showing shadow of death was still there. Undeads were lying all over the beach - and so was Taro, though with the corpse looking like it was, you could barely tell it was a Boufallant, much less Taro. The Furret turns towards the group, he was rather far from them, maybe he could sneak away to the lighthouse without them noticing? No - why would he do that? His mind was filling with thoughts, and before he knew it, his body seemed to take control. He ran towards the lighthouse on all fours, not even bothering to look back at the group.
