    Gateon Port/Night (18)

Rushing out of the Cipher Outpost with Deadpool and Dave, Acid stopped near the lighthouse.

Due to Deadpool saving the little Furret (who was apparently called Alex), he saw no reason to panic much, even if the thought of the Weavile with a fragile creature as the Normal Type wasn't exactly a good one.

He also saw a Staraptor near the Furret, but from that distance he couldn't quite tell if it was Infected or not.

"If he was one of them, he would've charged us anyway."

Turning away, he stopped, looking through a couple of buildings: he could've sworn he heard noises.

    "BARK, BARK, BARK!"

"...The hell?" now Acid knew that he wasn't imagining things: a rotting Manectric, with blood-red eyes ran towards the Toxic Mouth Pokemon, charging him.

But, he was too slow: the Poison type immediately slipped to the side of the Infected, stabbing him in the brain.

"Sorry, son. Too slow." this could've been a perfect ending to the moment, but of course the night wasn't over.

The veteran frog heard more barking: as he looked towards the buildings where the Manectric came from, he backed away, looking at an entire pack of electric dogs.
He could only count six of them, but he didn't knew if there were more.

"So here's the reason of such a violent storm." , thought the military Poison Type.

"Well, I guess I just killed the small fish, eh?" chuckling, he boosted his attack to the max with Swords Dance, as the hounds walked nearer and nearer, cracking electricity in their fangs.

"C'mon, let's see if you're really worth of something."

((OOC- well guys, it's battle time.))

    Gateon Port, Night(23)

All he could do was smile at the Manectrics and their idiotic barking. It made him giggle giddily as he began to charge at them. There were several, a total of eight he counted, not that it's easy to count while running, but either way there were a bunch of them and they were about to die.

"First... we fracture the collar bone."
With a sickening crunch, he delivered a palm strike to the first dog that came within reach, causing it to stagger from the intense blow and sudden pain.

"Now we dislocate the front legs."
He grabbed the Manectric roughly, twisting its paws and throwing it, watching as its limbs popped out of socket as it crashed into three other dogs. Smiling with sadistic glee he jumped onto the back of another Manectric, plunging his claws into the temples of the helpless beast.

"And now.... we begin by easing the stress in the most delicate of areas!"
The Manectric died beneath him in a twitching heap, and he smiled at Acid before returning to the pack of animals.

"Come one boys! I'm feeling a tad looooow!"

    Gateon Port/Night (19)

Acid observed Deadpool while he was killing the second Manectric: he sure had a disturbing sense of humor, but he was powerful. That was the only reason he didn't underestimated the Weavile.

"Well, two down, six to go."

But suddendly, the Poison type was startled by another furious session of barking: another Manectric jumped unleashing his Thunder Fang, aiming for Acid's head.

Luckily enough, the Frog could block the Electric type jaw, but the electricity flowed in his body as he made contact with the mouth.
"Uurrrgghhh!" with enormous strenght coming from his Swords Dances, he violently snapped the Lightingrod Pokemon jawbone, stopping the electricity flow.

Grunting, Acid held the Manectric by the neck, stabbing him in the stomach, until he was sure he died.

"Uhn...make that three. Deadpool, do you need help?"

    Gateon Port/Night (20)

The storm was raging, so did the battle. Even if they were litteral living corpses, those mutts had a really good coordination. After killing two of those Manectric, Acid carefully moved around the zombies, quickly absorbing the rain, source of his energy.
C'mon you wormbags, this can't be the great Infection that it's ruining the world.
"SHOW ME SOME ENERGY, DAMMIT!" yelled the military frog, raging at the very sight of the Electric types. This provocation angered the dogs, as one of them rushed towards the Poison/Fighting type, unleashing a Spark towards him.
Acid saw through the attack, and counter-attacked with Sucker Punch to the face, anticipating the Manectric.
A "splosh"-like sound came from the eyes of the Infected, who yelped in pain as Acid's blades squashed his eyes, blinding him instantly. Then, he pinned the Lightingrod Pokemon with a powerful blow to the dog's back, crushing his spine: after that violent show, the Toxicroak killed once and for all the cursed life of the canine with a single slash on the skull.
Turning towards the group of survivors, watching with the tail of the eyes the Infected, he calmly gave orders to Dave: "Kid, if you don't wanna join the battle, it's fine: put the Furret in the hideout. I think I can handle it from here."

    Gateon Port || Night || 21
    Are you freaking KIDDING ME?

Out of all the Pokemon to catch Alex, was a crazy-ass Weavile. Alex hated this guy, though it was a strong word, he still hated him. At least a day or two ago, Alex had lost track, the Weavile was juggling him around, making him dizzy as he let him go and stumbled into the ocean. Why the fuck him? Alex couldn't even remember his name, for Arceus' sake! It didn't exactly matter much, he guessed. However, despite Alex's ideas, the Weavile puts him down. Alex quickly stumbles over to Dave, hiding behind his back.

Then, a wild Toxicroak wants to battle! Well - more like came out of nowhere, making Alex jump a bit in surprise. "Who the heck are you?" the Furret spits out, but before the giant frog could reply, something loud caught his attention, as well as the others in the group.

    "BARK, BARK, BARK!"

A pack of Manectrics, thirsty for blood, come roaring down. The Weavile and Toxicroak quickly take action, and Alex simply watches from behind Dave as the duo swiftly take down half of the pack. "Dave," Alex begins, "What in the name of Arceus' underpants happened while I was gone?"

    Gateon Port|Night (36)

It was dark out now, and Dave was serving as the beacon of light for the group. He could see the Weavile catching his friend, something that both the Ampharos and the Furret did not like. He stood back and watched Deadpool and Acid attack the undead Manectrics that seemed to be all over the place. The Toxicroak turned to Dave and said, "Kid, if you don't wanna join the battle, it's fine: put the Furret in the hideout. I think I can handle it from here."

Without saying a word, Dave nodded in understand. He looked at Alex, who asked him what had happened while he gone. "I'll explain everything in the hideout." He said. He picked up the Furret and carried him over to the hideout. He looked in all the rooms and saw that Ariana wasn't in them. 'Maybe she's fighting and I didn't see her...'

Now that they were in the shelter, Dave explained everything to Alex. "Okay, here's the rundown of what you missed: After you got swept away from the ocean, the Cinccino, Aleena, went in to try and save you, but she got lost. The Weavile, Deadpool, became useful for once and showed us this hideout. Me and the Luxray, Ariana, fell in love, and then you showed up. Oh, and the Toxicroak's name is Acid, by the way." Dave let out a huge sigh. He said the summary rather quickly and in one breath. "There you go. All caught up, now?" He asked.

(Got permission from Jay to pick up Alex)

    Gateon Port/Night (21)

Acid waited for Dave to disappear from his sight along the Furret: he felt better like that, with no other survivor in danger. He carefully watched the Manectrics, who were too busy fighting him for caring about the others. "Good." With no more thoughts but the battle in the Frog's mind, he launched towards the dogs: if he was gonna defeat the Infected, he would've need to attack first.
While slashing the Electric types, weakening them, he mentally stopped for a second. He looked around: Deadpool and one of the Manectrics weren't there. Did the Weavile betrayed them? No, not even the most vile of the worms could live with such a terrible action.
"That soldier is gonna need a damn good excu--" but he was interrupted by one of the Infected canines, who jumped on him, trying to bite his neck. "Look fella, you caught me in a very bad moment!" with a fierce knee on the stomach, Acid threw away the dog: now it was his turn to get pinned down.
He jumped on his stomach, making the dog puke blood and saliva: the Frog scoffed in disgust, and crushed the dog's forehead with a well aimed Revenge attack. Yep, that was it. He was getting tired of playing with them, and he decided that a quick death would've been more than enough.
"Alright, just three to go. Let's make this fast, will ya?"
The Toxic Mouth Pokemon ran towards another Manectric and, taking advantage of the wet ground, he slipped like butter to his side, ripping open the side of the Undead's belly. Noncaring about the furious barking of the hound, he snapped his neck cold.
Coughing, he pushed away the body, looking at the remaining two Manectrics. One of them decided to act, launching himself towards Acid, only to be blinded just like before by one of the Veteran's Sucker Punches and to be beheaded by a powerful slice.
It's the end: the last dog tries to back away, but Acid is ruthless. He takes the Infected by the neck, pushing him towards a wall. The Frog quickly leaves the grip, only for stabbing the hound in the brain with both blades.
"Sorry if I copied that, Deadpo--oh right." Looking at the alley once more, Acid walks back inside the Cipher's hideout, mumbling unhearable curses, while the rain washes away the blood. One last thunder roars in the night.

    Blood.

It was the only thing Cacturne craved. The Harbinger could smell the precious substance thick on the air, enticing him and tempting him to voyage to its plentiful source, Gateon Port. He lumbered through deserted streets, a fierce storm raging around him as that delightful aroma drew him closer and closer to his target.

It was a massacre of undead, manectric mainly, as the Harbinger’s gaze fell onto the toxicroak and weavile trying to keep them at bay. Undead blood? Cacturne was repulsed at the thought, his attention soon latching onto a pair of pokémon retreating into some sort of poor-standing safehouse. A twisted grin crawling up his bloodstained face, the image of the sinister creature capable of chilling paint off walls, the Harbinger slowly followed. Stalking them akin to a ghost, only the splash of his feet under blood-soaked streets giving indication of his presence, all too soon Cacturne was upon them.

Ignoring the ampharos, the Harbinger lashed out at the furret. The ferret-creature gave a pathetic scream as it was launched helpless across the room, unnaturally long spikes embedded in its weak body on impact. Cacturne gave a maniacal life, tossing a psychopathic grin to his audience before ferocious winds whipped up around him. Raising his arms, a sudden burst of sand twirling about his macabre form, a quick movement sent the sandstorm towards his pleading victim. The ferret was scooped up in an expertly controlled sphere of ravenous sands, screaming as his fragile body was left at the mercy of blistering grains and disorientating winds. Cacturne did nothing but laugh.

    How deadly sand could be…

The sandstorm exploded then, the intense concentration circling the furret suddenly expanding to leave the entire room creaking in protest as a miniature desert enveloped the scene. Cacturne’s victim flew into the air, its skin peeling away from the brutal onslaught to reveal rich, gory flesh that made the Harbinger’s mouth salivate. As the creature fell, the Harbinger extended a single arm, deadly needles protruded in preparation to catch his target. Contact was made, the furret impaled as Cacturne slammed the frail creature to the ground with a sickening crack.

Silence, save the howling winds that buffeted the surroundings, prevailed.

The building on the verge of collapse, Cacturne grinned as he pried the gory remains of the furret from his arm, tossing the severed limbs at the ampharos’ feet. Content with his kill, the intoxicating, red liquid still clinging to his body, the Harbinger made his exit. Slipping through the doorway and into the distance, Cacturne waltzed onwards, licking the gore adorning his arm like a lollipop.

    It was so lonely...

As Phantom looked out to the thrashing sea, he craved the comfort of someone. The Undead had been coming around these parts more often, and even though he tried his hardest to protect the city from their attacks, every time he killed or maimed one they seemed to respawn. It took the phrase, "it's a small world" to a whole new meaning.

    A small world...

He looked up to the inky-black sky, where the stars were scintillating on the curtain of black. The rain poured down, making puddles beneath his paws, but he didn't mind the water soaking his pelt. What if Arceus had put him to the test? With a sigh, he came to the conclusion that he didn't know how much longer he could hold on. He craved company. He just wanted a friend.

He began to sing to himself softly, an old lullaby his mother used to sing to him to lull him to sleep-

    "When the fields die young,
    and our hearts beat new,
I will still be here for you..."

    What was that next verse?

Trying to jog his memory, Phantom paced around in circles. What was it, what was it...? It was on the tip of his tongue, he was on the verge of recalling it...

    YOWL!!

Phantom perked up his ears. What was that noise? It sounded almost painful...but yet so full of scorn it seemed almost menacing. Realization struck him like a freight train. That was a battle shriek!

The chorus of yowls grew, and suddenly the city was filled with sounds screeching and screaming. His better judgement told him to stay away and shield himself, but his valiant side told him to run to the scene. If anyone was here, if anyone was alone as him, he wanted to help them. Even if it was their darkest hour-their final hour.

No. If he was going to die, he was going to die fighting for someone elses right to live.

With a howl that would strike fear into the hearts of many, he started to run fast on his paws, the weight of his wet fur slightly slowing him as he bolted closer and closer to the sound of the clamor. It was echoing off the walls of the many buildings, making it difficult for him to pinpoint the exact location by sound, but through scent he could find the source. There was the scent of a group of canines, it wasn't stale, but it was washed away a bit by the rain. It smelt canine...

Another howl struck through the air like an arrow, and the young Growlithe finally realized where it was coming from. The lighthouse!

With a burst of speed, he ran faster than ever before, until he finally reached the Lighthouse. Skidding to a stop, he barked, "Hello? Who are you?"

What met his eyes was the last thing he expected. There were deceased Macentric threw out all over the ground, mangled and almost unrecognizable. Lightning struck, and he whimpered a bit as the skies sounded like they were cracking in the thunder's aftermath.

And suddenly, he saw another thing that frightened him more than the first. A large Cacturne was exiting the Pokemart, lumbering along slowly, licking its arm with a content gleam in its eye. Lightning struck again, illuminating the figure enough that Phantom could see he was coated in blood.

Shocked, he ran by the Pokemart, trying to follow the tracks the Cacturne had left before the rain washed them away.

He stood outside the Pokemart, which was on the verge of collapse, he barked softly, "H-hello? Is everything alright?" Lightning struck once again, and in the small flash of light he saw the distraught face of an Ampharos, and a Toxicroak...He shivered, but stood his ground.

    Cipher Hideout|Night (37)

The storm was raging outside of the hideout that Dave and Alex were in. The lights suddenly went out and the two were in the dark for a short while. Thankfully, the Ampharos thought ahead and had his tail lit up. He lit it up just in time to see an undead Cacturne waltz into the hideout.

The undead wasted no time attacking Alex, sending him to the other side of the room. Before Dave could attack, the undead started up a sandstorm and it was enough to throw Dave back. He couldn't do anything since he was an electric type. The sand exploded and it was enough to peel the Furret's skin off like an orange. The Cacturne caught Alex's body with an arm of deadly needles, impaling Alex. Dave wanted to scream, but the atmosphere was too dry for him to make a sound. He practically shivered as the undead threw severed limbs at him and just left.

Dave was just feeling so many emotions right now. First the Golett, then Taro, and now Alex. There were so many things he needed to do. He flipped a table and ran out of the shelter into the storm. "COME BACK HERE WITH MY FRIEND YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!" Dave yelled in anger. Tears were going down his face as he ran away into the woods. He wanted vengeance for all the deaths of his friends. He no longer trusted any undead. His heart was slowly growing bitter, and he needed to be alone.

Angry at everything now, Dave unleashed his anger and frustration out on the trees around him. He screamed as he used Thunderpunch on the trees over and over again. The rain was still coming down and the thunder was still going. The more he punch, the worse his hand got. He stopped when he got tired and saw that it was bleeding. The Ampharos was now shivering out of fear of himself. He couldn't take it anymore. He fell to the ground and curled up into a ball to cry.

    He was done.

    'Where are you Kelly?'

    Gateon Port/Night (22)

[Cheshire, I sent you a PM about Gateon. Acid is outside the Pokemart, so I think that Phantom is too.]

Acid tried to walk back there, but he stopped. He heard a voice. "Hello? Who are you?" Acid turned around, blood dripping from his blades.
When he saw the Growlithe...he was confused, to say the least. The Fire Pokemon had a weird mask covering half of his face, giving him a weird sensation...Acid wasn't exactly sure what it was, though. The Growlithe didn't looked Infected, and that was the Frog's greatest priority.
"Ah, another survivor. It's nice to meet another fellow Pokemon, especially in these times. Name's Acid. And yours?" the Toxicroak looked at his hand-blades, who were still dripping blood. He looked behind the Growlithe, looking at the Manectric corpses. "Ah. It seems you found my...friends. Don't worry, I won't--"
    KABLOOM
The violent noise coming from Cipher's hideout made the Toxicroak jump from surprise, as he did not expected any noises coming from there: suddendly, a Cacturne, covered in blood, ran away from the Pokemart's entrance, slipping away in the shadows. Fuck. The Poison type launched to seize the cactus, but he was too fast. He fell to the ground, splashing in a puddle. When he got up, the Harbinger was gone. Vanished.

"COME BACK HERE WITH MY FRIEND YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!"

Seconds after those words, Dave rushed out of the shelter, stained with blood and what seemed mud. He soon disappeared from the old frog eyes. It didn't took much time for the frog to understand that the Furret was dead. "DAVE, COME BACK HERE! IT'S....not...safe." panting, the dual type looked towards the Ampharos' direction, who was nowhere to be seen. Acid slowly turned his head to the newly-founded Growlithe, not sure what was he feeling.
"...What was your name again, son?"

    Gateon Port|Night|2

"Ah, another survivor. It's nice to meet another fellow Pokemon, especially in these times. Name's Acid. And yours?" Phantom, slightly unnerved by the blood on his hand blades, and he gulped and heaved a nervous breath. He could not stop staring at the crimson stains. The Frog looked behind Phantom at the mangled corpses of the Macentric. "Ah. It seems you found my...friends. Don't worry, I won't--"

    KABLOOM!

The noise was extremely loud and almost excruciating. The Cacturne lumbered out, the same one Phantom had seen before. The strange Frog took immediate action, leaping heroically into the air and falling into a puddle. Phantom ran over to assist him, growling at the suspicious Cacturne and barking angrily. His heart chilled as it laid his eyes on him. Then suddenly, it alleviated into the shadows as if it had never been.

"COME BACK HERE WITH MY FRIEND YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!"

An Ampharos bolted out of the shelter, his posture sunken a bit by what Phantom believed to be grief. His fur was stained with a mixture of brown and a dark red. Acid yelled for the Ampharos to come back, but he did not heed his word. Phantom's head was spinning. Everything seemed to be happening all at once. A few minutes ago he was sitting there like any other day and now...this. He was perplexed.

The Poison amphibian turned to Acid, blinking slowly with uncertainty gleaming in his topaz eyes. "...What was your name again, son?"

"My...my name is Phantom," backing up a bit, praying that these survivors weren't of any harm. He bit back an uncertain snarl.

    Gateon Port/Night (23)

"My...my name is Phantom." Acid looked one more time at the Growlithe, studying his mask: surely, he had a very fitting name.
The Growlithe snarled, maybe for giving an intimidating tone to his voice, but the military wasn't phazed at all. The Fire type looked scared and tired, giving him an expression to be pitied.
It wasn't time to act like a smartass, though. The young Furret was very probably dead and Dave ran away from the port. The Poison type started walking towards the Ampharos' direction. "Come with me." the Toxicroak gave to the dog an order, with a firm and clear voice, who received as a gift from his career under the army.
"I am as confused as you, son." the Toxicroak kept walking, trying to figure the possible direction of the Ampharos. "But there is one thing that I can assure you: neither me and Dave, the Ampharos, are dangerous. That is, of course, if you aren't an Infected. Are you?" the Poison/Fighting type looked Phantom with his yellow eyes, who seemed to glow in the night: he didn't liked to act as a bully towards the others, but it was the only way to gain respect in bad situations.
After a few minutes, Acid reached Gateon's entrance, looking towards the woods. Hmh, Acid thought. Pretty classic place. After walking for a few more seconds, the first fallen trees appeared, slightly alarming the frog. "That boy's more powerful than I thought. Keep following me, Phantom." Still watching all of the dead trees, Acid raised his blades when the fallen plants augmented in number, only to find Dave, curled up to the ground, sobbing.
"Dave." the Toxicroak crouched near the giraffe-looking Pokemon, feeling tremendous regret in his old heart. "I...I'm sorry, kiddo. I should've been more careful. The Manectric kept appearing everywhere."
Rising himself from his frog-like position, he coffed a bit, unsure if his words helped. Probably not.
"Oh, one last thing. Deadpool is--"
    Snap.
A simple sound, like a heavy step, followed by the cracking of a branch. He turned around, looking at a gigantic Infected Ursaring, with glowing red eyes. And he seemed very interested in the Growlithe.

Acid looked towards the direction the depressive Ampharos had fled. He turned his head back to Phantom, and Phantom stared into his golden eyes again. For some reason those eyes unsettled him. Not in a frightened way, but more of a dull pain deep in his belly. In my heart?

"Come with me," the frog ordered in a clear and distinctive voice, dictating his prowess, which Phantom succumbed to for the time being. Guess there's nothing I can do but listen to him...I want to help his friend anyways.

He followed Acid with his head low and his teeth gritted. He tucked his plumed tail between his legs, thrashing his head at every noise. "I am as confused as you, son," Acid croaked, continuing to walk along with a frog-like hop in his step searching for his missing friend. "But there is one thing that I can assure you: neither me and Dave, the Ampharos, are dangerous. That is, of course, if you aren't an Infected. Are you?"

"N-no sir," Phantom responded softly. He continued to follow Acid, padding along in the same slumped posture, until they reached the woods. The Growlithe whimpered a bit, it had been a long time since he was in the woods, and memories flooded back as he smelled the scent of the sap of the pines. He sniffed the ground for any trace of the Ampharos, but then realized that wasn't needed as his path was laid out by fallen trees. The Ampharos scent around them was unmistakable, and very recent. "That boy's more powerful than I thought. Keep following me, Phantom," the Toxicroak ordered. The amount of fallen trees increased as they walked, until finally they approached the Ampharos, who was curled up in a ball and weeping. Phantom pitied Dave, thinking, "I know that feeling all to well."

"Dave," the frog crouched down to meet Dave's swollen eyes. "I...I'm sorry, kiddo. I should've been more careful. The Manectric kept appearing everywhere." Not exactly certain about why Dave was so depressed, Phantom just nodded in agreement.

The Frog rose, and coughed, then said, "Oh, one last thing. Deadpool is--"

A loud snapping noise interrupted him. The Frog turned with shock in his eyes. "PHANTOM! TURN AROUND!"

Phantom turned, and what met his eyes surprised him. It was a large infected Ursaring, it's eyes glowing a crimson ruby and its fur matted with blood. Pushing all thoughts of fear away, Phantom barked, "Run back to Gateon you two. Go to Club Krabby. It's safer there. I'll keep this bitch distracted." He spat out the last word, growled menacingly, and swiftly ran towards the Ursaring, biting its leg before it could react and sunk his sharp teeth deep into the rotten flesh until he believed he felt bone. The Ursaring roared and thrashed, but Phantom held on, digging his front and back claws in as well and using his small size to his advantage.

So many thoughts and emotions clouded Dave's mind. He didn't know what to do, what to say, or how to feel about his situation. A voice broke through the clouds in his mind. "Dave." The Ampharos looked up to see Acid and a Growlithe. "I...I'm sorry, kiddo. I should've been more careful. The Manectric kept appearing everywhere." All Dave could do was lower his head in sadness. His mind was still too foggy to respond.

"Oh, one last thing. Deadpool is--" Dave perked up, now interested in what happened to Deadpool. Did the bastard get what he deserved? It would seem as though it would have to wait because an undead Ursaring appeared and attacked the trio. As the Growlithe, whose name he could guess was Phantom, attacked the Ursaring, he called out. "Run back to Gateon you two. Go to Club Krabby. It's safer there. I'll keep this bitch distracted."

Dave growled in anger. He hated undead and wanted revenge. 'No. Not again.' His pent up anger built up inside of him and electricity began to charge up. "All my friends are dead and gone because of the undead. I'm not going to let that happen again!" He growled. "Everyone get back! This is going to be crazy!" He looked at the undead and released his anger out on the undead. Electricity went all over the place as he let loose a Discharge attack. It struck the Ursaring and was able to paralyze him as well. The Ampharos smirked and said to Phantom and Acid. "Would anyone like to finish him off?"

(OoC: Since in the games, Discharge can hit your teammates, it's up to you guys if Acid or Phantom gets hit by the Duscharge)

Well, of all the reactions Acid could imagine he surely didn't expect that one: the Growlithe suddendly become much more brave, launching between the Ursaring's legs, starting biting them. The bear growled in anger, trying to slash Phantom, but he couldn't due the Fire type's small size.

In a few seconds even Dave decided to snap out of depression and act, unleashing a Discharge towards the Infected: unfortunately, Acid was a bit too close to the Ampharos, and got partially struck with some lightnings. He barely restrained a scream, squeezing his hands.

The Electric type's attack was even more powerful in the rain, but thanks to the falling water itself and his Black Sludge, it took a few seconds for the ex-military to recover. Looking at the paralyzed body of the Infected, Dave smirked, looking at both of the other survivors: "Would anyone like to finish him off?" Slightly coughing, Acid didn't even risponded to the Ampharos, taking a brief run-up, jumping on the Ursaring's neck, stabbing it with both blades.
    I hate bears.

After getting up, stretching his neck, Acid started walking back to Gateon, resuming his talk: "I just wanted to tell you that Deadpool is gone, Dave. Not dead. Gone." washing away the blood from his blades, the Poison type continued. "Apparently, he abandoned me to the Manectrics. I knew that he wasn't exactly a Chansey in terms of friendship, but..."

Waiting a bit for the other survivors to recovering, he looked back at Gateon with a sigh: was the night finally over?

Phantom was still clinging on to the enraged Zombie bear when Dave decided he had had his extent of this and released a discharge. Yelping when the electric shock came in contact with his flesh, he fell to the ground yowling. The pain ebbed away slowly, but it was tolerable as the rain healed some of the wounds and made his quivering body feel a bit better. Phantom heard Dave inquire, "Would anyone like to finish him off?" Phantom tacitly nodded to Acid, who obliged to Dave's offer, and stabbing the Ursaring in the neck with such skill that Phantom gawked in awe.

Acid, when he fell to the ground after the Ursaring had stopped struggling, shook the whole situation off like nothing had occurred, popping his neck and walking on to Gateon. Phantom followed, not wanting to be left alone in the forest. Plus, it would be nice to have companions with him to protect Gateon...if they could be trusted...Maybe, we could be...friends?

"I just wanted to tell you that Deadpool is gone, Dave. Not dead. Gone," Acid washed the crimson from his blades, then continued, "Apparently, he abandoned me to the Manectrics. I knew that he wasn't exactly a Chansey in terms of friendship, but..."

Phantom wondered how Dave would react. He didn't seem to be very optimistic about this whole situation. Neither would I.

Phantom coughed, then barked, "Um...so...what do we do now? Or you do, if you wanna go on your own, but if not I could stay, oh but you might stay anyways, on the contrary I might go. Oh no, I couldn't. You could stay and I could stay. Stay? Oh no, that sounds rude, I mean its your choice what you do! Heh-heh!" Phantom sheepishly grinned, then sighed. Damn my social awkwardness. He made his grin a bit wider, trying to come across as friendly but it seemed to give more of a creepy vibe.

Dave's Discharge attack proved to be a bit too powerful. It hit Acid and the Growlithe, but thankfully, the rain helped ease the pain a little bit, and the Toxicroak finished off the undead by stabbing it in the neck. When the undead fell, the Ampharos slowly got back up to his feet, slightly out of breath. Acid then said something that made Dave's day much better.

"I just wanted to tell you that Deadpool is gone, Dave. Not dead. Gone. Apparently, he abandoned me to the Manectrics. I knew that he wasn't exactly a Chansey in terms of friendship, but..."

Dave put a hand up, as if to stop him. "Stop. Don't dwell on it." He started to walk away before stopping and turning around. "He's gone and that's all that matter at this point." The smile that was on the electric type's face vanished as he got serious for a moment. "Well, the hideout is no longer stable enough for us to stay in. We'll need to find new shelter. Let's go."

Acid smiled at Dave, who started following the group: the Frog's old heart was warm from happiness. That Ampharos wasn't the young, scared Electric type that Acid met at the beginning of his journey with the group.
He could've become a leader in no time.

While walking, he looked at the Growlithe...it was barking the words so fast he wasn't exactly sure he heard what he said. No matter, though. "Don't worry, Phantom. The night's over, and that's the most important thing now."

When entering Gateon once more, he blinked, his eyes shining. A new shelter...suddendly, an idea came to the Toxicroak's brains. "Run back to Gateon you two. Go to Club Krabby. It's safer there. I'll keep this bitch distracted."

Turning around, Acid's eyes met the Fire type's mask, as he walked closer to him. "Son...you said something about Club Krabby, right?"
The ex-military raised his body, looking down at the little dog. "I think you could find some place for two more Pokemon, right?" chuckling, the Poison type looked at the woods: no one followed them. Good.

The Growlithe seemed a nice Pokemon. He was brave, facing an Ursaring alone...but he was also gentle and a little awkward, as demonstrated before.
He had nothing to fear...for now.

After Phantom's fumbling of words, Acid croaked, "Don't worry, Phantom. The night's over, and that's the most important thing now."

Phantom nodded, not wanting to speak in an awkward, embarrassing slur again. He continued to follow the amphibian, humming his lullaby happily, until the frog turned all of a sudden and stated, "Son...you said something about Club Krabby, right?"
Acid tensed his muscles, making his body raise to Phantom's discontent. It frightened him when Pokemon towered above him, especially after father-

"I think you could find some place for two more Pokemon, right?

"Wha-what? Oh yeah! Sure, sure! Then there will be me, you...and that yellow chap over there," he gestured with his nose. He scuffled his paws for a moment, praying to Arceus neither of them would ask him why he lived there alone. He sighed.
