Axew could hear the awkward hint in the tone of Lucifer as he spoke hesitantly to the Larvitar. "Um... If Lucifer's too hard, you could call me Luc, or Lucas..." A smile played on the tiny drago 's lips despite himself. Tiovoa just had a way with him like that. She made him feel important, needed. It was a foreign feeling, despite the times he had traveling with Alan, and he enjoyed it while it would last. The Larvitar merely giggled at poor Lucifer, though, and Axew watched with amusment as she chirped. "But I like Lucy! Lucy! Tee hee!" the child cried happily, reaching forward with one hand, an expectant expression on her face. Axew knew that look- either Tiovoa wanted a ride of she wanted to hold his hand. Due to his size, Axew assumed the latter. He smiled at the two from behind Tio. She was just so innocent and kind... All she wanted was some friends. She was too innocent to realize that holding the little guy's hand might be awkward for him.
But the Axew's attention quickly turned back to the big guy behind him. "...Logan," he replied in an almost pleasant tone, but Axew said nothing. He merely narrowed his eyes as the canine tilted his head slightly to one side. He stood as high as he could, puffing out his chest bravely. This Logan would not touch Tiovoa. No matter how nice he might act. "I'm Logan. Pleased to finally meet you in person, 'Axy'. I've heard a lot about you." It took the Axew a few seconds to process what the words really meant before he stared harshly up at this Logan. "Spying on us, were you?" he replied in a cold tone, his scowl growing as he stared up at the dog.
"I wish I'd known there were more than just flybags on this ship; I'd have come up sooner." Axew was soon growing bored of Logan- he was just... Unnerving, really. Especially since he appeared to be the largest and eldest there. Axew slowly dropped back onto all four paws, allowing his posture to relax slightly. Maybe if this guy proved to be trustworthy he could help the young Axew to keep Tiovoa out of trouble. It would be a load off of the already young dragon's back. Regaurdless, he would have to see if this Logan was with honorable intentions or not. Axew merely sat down, content for the moment. Tio was safe with a new friend and no one was trying to kill them for the moment. A win if you asked him. But just then the Pidove flew over, so dramaticly it made him scowl. The avian gushed over what a 'fantastic specimen' he was- when in reality he was just a creepy stalker- before finally introducing himself."The name's Beval, Adventurer Extraordinaire."
Axew's frown twitched slightly at the bird's well... Enthusiasm. But he was on the right track at least. Axew nodded to Bevel. "You already know Tiovoa. I am merely Axew." His pale eyes flickered to Logan and back to the bird, his face expressionless.
