((OOC: I supposed that we should go onto Noontime now :b The morning seems long enough now, unless anyone disagrees.))
Tansis agrees with Adventus’s suggestion of heading to the rooftop. She replies with a kind smile, and Adventus gives a small, respectful nod back to her. “Thank you, we’ll go do just that.” Blu also chirps out her thanks, amusing him with her saying she would have done something more reckless before turning to the Delcatty. After a short chirp the both of them depart. Adventus watches as the Delcatty and Pidgey head up the stairs to the rooftop, leaving him with Seth, the Rattata, and the stranger now emerging from the gently tossed pokéball. The red light produced by the opening sphere surprises him for a moment, as he has never seen a Pokéball open before. As the energy forms into a being, he begins to discern it as an Eevee.
After a shake of its fur and a stretch, the small fox turns towards them. It somehow does not surprise Adventus that its demeanor is rather hostile--even hateful. The Eevee turns away from them, giving a reply while glancing over its shoulder. From the sound of its voice, it is a female. “Thanks.”
Adventus nods, his arms crossed in a non-threatening appearance to the newcomer.
Finally, someone with some sense of distrust in them, he thinks. That unfriendly look in her eye makes him alert--she easily shows that she will retaliate if provoked in any way. It would be a good idea to calm her at least a little. “Do not worry, Eevee. As long as you do not attack me, I will not attack you.”
There really is not anything else he has to say--she looks to be a self-capable person, and he has no reason for begging the question of her joining the group. Nonetheless, maybe offering would make for a good choice of words. After a nasal sigh he addresses her again. “So, what do you plan to do? You’re on Sky Pillar, and the lower floors have some pretty nasty Undead.”
Just then, he hears a random voice. It sounds feminine as well, but very weak. It makes him perk his ears up, and he stops talking as he discerns it.
The Rattata? But before he can turn around, the rodent whispers out, asking for what is happening to herself. When he turns to look, he sees that the Rattata is half-conscious. He steps away when she begins to regurgitate again. Morbid disappointment picks at his emotions, and he can only think of just how horrid her pain is. Despite knowing that such weaknesses happen, he has never enjoyed tending to the ill--especially when the person is sick beyond help. Besides, how is he going to explain to her that she is going to die an unstoppable, agonizing death? He musters the best of his rather degraded social skills, and gives her as best an answer as he can find.
“You are ill, Rattata. Try to conserve your energy.”
He looks over to his left towards the Eevee, and can easily understand that she shares his mutual distrust for others. He feels like he could say something else, though, but he has nothing. Instead, he rises back up, seeing that the Rattata’s vomiting may have stopped for now, and it did not appear bad enough that he would have to move her again. Conveniently, he finds that the overly friendly Seth had not clucked out his greetings to the Eevee yet. “So Seth, you going to introduce yourself to the Eevee yet?” The Weavile gives a smirk to him, as Adventus tries to scavenge whatever humor he can find in his boredom. As much as he does not want to trust the fire bird, he cannot help but try and joke at him in a gesture of good will.
