Eleroo 101 || Seek 92 Seek stood as firmly as possible and her thin chest could be seen heaving with each breath. Eleroo thought
she started this? It was the
Floatzel that attacked them. That made it his fault! Though cold, the relatively warmer rain was starting to melt the ice that dappled her pelt and the Aiveon was recovering from the initial shock. The Floatzel bounced around, ready to keep rattling the team as he spouted,
"You all have no place here. Leave!" Giving her wings a hard thrust the Aiveon hissed when she realized they were too weighted-down to lift her. Resigning to her stationary position she could only give the water type a sinister glare as she roared,
"Who are you to decide that?!" It looked at her, perhaps considering a reply or another attack to go her way, but another Pokemon interrupted her rant.
"Let these ones pass," Abra said as it moved to a concerningly vulnerable position.
"They know not what they've done." Any hairs in her pelt that weren't plastered down by rain or mud stood as tall as possible.
What. It was supposed to be on
their side and it called them fools??
Eleroo bound across the way to hunch by R'hia and Seek, worry edging every aspect of him.
Please.. please don't make it worse. The psychic knew what he was talking about, right? So why did he have to sound so dickish about it? the Floatzel must of felt the same way, as it tried to attack him after an outburst. Luckily, Abra's signature teleporting let him port to safety, but when Eleroo turned his head it was not the familiar Pokemon he saw.
The Floatzel stopped dead, suddenly horror stricken.
"You're.. you're..!" It barely managed to choke out before hightailing it from whence it came.
"Yeah, you better run." Seek boasted, but Eleroo could not share in her excitement. Even as the thing ran away he could feel nothing but dread. There was no satisfaction in its departure, nor did it seem sufficed with the short battle.
It was scared.. That was worse than angering it, worse than wounding it. To be feared, they were now a
real threat, a real danger that had to be dealt with. Yet his eyes were still locked on the strange, unfamiliar Pokemon that hovered by them.
"Who.. what?" He questioned just above a whisper, and subtle words were enough to cut into Seek's victory chant.
She turned her head slowly while her eyes watched the swiftly vanishing shape of the Floatzel, and muttered,
"Eleroo what are you-" She stopped herself short as she spotted the unknown Pokemon. It, well, what the heck was it?
"The heck," she huffed, not impressed or fearful until Eleroo tentatively asked,
"Abra?" "Abra?" She echoed, not really understanding. Had it done something to the psychic? No, Eleroo wasn't acting right for that. Was
it Abra?
"What the heck are you?" She demanded, rounding her question to get some kind of answer.
