Aegis continued to swim ahead of the others, so he didn't realize the Wailord had attacked until he heard the shouts behind him. As he gazed upon the creature, his red eyes seemd to dull, and his top eye showed no emotion at all. As he watched the collosal bohemoth float, something inside his mind seemed to snap. Perhaps it was the lack of sleep, the stress of the previous day, the thought of fighting something thousands of times the size of himself, larger than even the Gyrados. Whatever the reason, all thought stopped, abruptly. And he began to laugh. First it was just a hiccup. The hiccup turned into a giggle, and the giggle became a full on laugh, shaking his entire body in his hopelessness. He barely registerd Krenari's attack, and instead, shot forward himself, using an Aqua Jet as a cannon.

As it was, he timed it so well, accidentally of course, that he landed inside the Wailord's mouth, as it had opened it to let out a watery roar. Before the beast could swallow, however, Aegis managed to cling to the monster's uveula, laughing the entire time. Digging in with his sharp pincers, he began to drain the energy from the creature's mouth with an Absorb attack. The added energy only seemed to make Aegis laugh even more, though. Oh, the beast would not enjoy this experience one bit.

Unconsciousness felt weird, especially since you really don't know what happens while you blacked out. Lucy had no clue what was going on, but it felt like hours had passed. She was awoke suddenly at the sound of F-...Lum's voice, "Lucy!!" The Gorebyss blinked open her eyes, feeling groggy, she should have been unconscious longer, but her head didn't really hurt. However, her spine felt like it was on fire. The Water-type glanced back to see what was causing such pain, only to find her back practically scratched and torn apart due to the rocks. The salt in the water just making the pain even worse.

Another con to this stupid huge-ass wound, was that it was difficult to even move, simply propelling herself forward was a pain to her backside, especially since all she had felt was something like hot coals on it. "C-can't move..." She stuttered, the scent of death was reeking the place, she heard attack moves being thrown everywhere, she can hear everything perfectly fine, she just can't locate where everyone was, as if it was trying to locate the source of an echo in a large cave.

Aegis laughing seemed quite creepy.

Krenari hit the Wailord again, this time sinking into its side with her whole body. She dug her claws in, and made so ferociously on its side it looked as if she were trying to eat it like a plate of ribs. She ripped her claws in and out of the flesh, tearing strips of flesh off so quick that it looked like a wall that had just had its wallpaper torn off. Blood seeped into the water and all around until it became almost like a mist around the water-cat. She kept biting into the Wailord as it continued to thrash. Satisfied with her work, she claws her way up to the whales head. She heard Aegis's crazy laughter. She grinned as she sunk her teeth into the Wailord as she continued to scale up the thrashing figure. She couldn't help but laugh as well. It had been sooo looong that she had had so much fun killing something. She started out with a small chuckle, which then quickly rose to a howl of laughter as she made for the brain of the creature. She growled in between laughs as scratched at its blue scalp; bits of flesh and pools of blood coming from the beast. The whale groaned and roared as it failed to shake the two parasites from it's hide. Krenari gleefully giggled as she continued to tear into the rotting masses of flesh, trying to reach the creatures brain. She had gone loony; and sounded just as loony as Aegis by the sounds of things. She was now in a red world; nothing but red and purple blood and purple and blue flesh surrounded her. She bit down and clawed at its skull. She made progress. She suddenly Ice Beamed the skull. She roared and screeched as she continued to give it brain freeze, trying to hit the skull hard enough to where the weakened bone would give through.

The Wailord's Belly | Morning (16)

Aegis was still laughing when the Wailord managed to use its tougne to knock him off the uveula. He could hear Krenari laughing as well, as he slid to the back of the throat. That made him laugh more. The mere thought of death no longer frightened him. He had experienced it once before, of course. It disapointed him that he would have to leave Lumi, but, of course, would have to happen eventually. He laughed for Lumi. He laughed for Lucy and Pride. He laughed for the Scientists who brought him back to life. He laughed for the Gyrados they had killed. He laughed for the world. He laughed at the Wailord. Abrubtly, as he was nearing the end of the throat, the laughter stopped. [color=orange]"Now."[/orange]

The flash of light was brief, and inside the creature's body, there were none around to see it. However, Aegis, had finally evolved. Spreading his scythes out to the side, he slowed his descent, cutting bloody gashes into the throat of the Wailord. Kicking up with his feet-FEET-, he used a powerful Aqua Jet, keeping his arms outstretched, spinning like a twister. It took two attacks. One to get him out of the Wailord, and one, straight back down, to cut the beast in two. He laughed, once more. No longer maniacly, but joyfully. He had finally experienced evolution.

He stayed where he was as the two halves of the Wailord's body sank to the depths. He would allow the others to make the first move. He spent the time rolling his new shoulders, and trying to adjust to having a single working eye. That would mess with his depth perception, he knew. This new body would take some getting used to.

Lumi caught up with Lucy, the Gorebyss felt as if he was a bit dumbstruck seeing her wounds on the back. Perhaps it will cause a scar, or permanent damage to her. "Get on, Lucy. I will get us outta here," Lumi said, he moved closer to her so she could get on, Lucy felt his fins brush against her, she figured this was where she was suppose to get on.

The Gorebyss slowly got on the Lumineon's back, trying to prevent more pain to her aching back and possibly trying to not put all of weight on Lumi. She sniffed the air, mostly scenting the blood mostly coming from her, and also the scent of the Wailord slowly disappearing, they killed it already? She felt warmth again, and then a joyful laugh from Aegis, who seems also different. Evolution again?

"C-congrats Aegis," the Gorebyss managed to croak out.

Krenari's eyes opened when she saw the burst of white light suddenly erupt from the center of the Wailord. She looked behind her to see the bladed, upright creature that killed the whale. She had only seen one of these Pokemon before. The only idea she got that it was her crustacean partner was that only one of his eyes was working. She smiled at the newly evolved Pokemon.
"Hey, congrats...! By the way, nice kill." she grinned. It had been a while since she saw a kill so spectacular. She watched as the whale floated down to the bottom of the ocean in two pieces. "Well, at least that guardian won't be so alone now." She stiffled a laugh. Then she heard Lumi approach.

"A--Aegis?"

She turned to see the Lumineon.
"Yeah kid, it's Aegis." she smiled to the outline of the fish. What was wrong with her? She needed to have her brain checked. When did she ever smile? She turned to Aegis again, seeing around the bloody water. She could only see their outlines....

This was what Aegis was afraid of. His new body obviously scared Lumi, and though she could not see it, he got the feeling Lucy was uncomfortable as well. Krenari, at least, seemed to be happy for the change. He nodded to her, before facing Lumi again. "It's still me." He began, surprised to hear his own voice. It was low, and rumbling, like the sound of rocks moving under the waves. He no longer clicked as he spoke, but his voice sounded so much more... soothing. "It's harder for me to swim in this body, but, I'll make do."

In fact, Aegis's body was much heavier than it once was. He had to kick his legs to stay where he was, until he could figure out how to make himself float correctly. He was top-heavy, his head still threatening to flip himself over. "Can we keep moving?" He asked, trying not to sound tired. "We don't want to run into even... more trouble."

No. 913 drifted along the currents when it picked up traces of noise and the taste of blood in the water. Turning about the slow old Staryu headed towards the noise.Pieces of its arms flying off in the water as it swam. When it arrived at the source of the sound it detected several beings. Many were moving at a normal rate but one below, it was sinking in a slow and sluggish manner.

The sinking being appeared to be in two halves, dead so No. 913 ignored it and looked at the other creatures through its grey tinted orb. With a quick Recover the missing parts grew back on its limbs quickly and it waved at the nearest thing it saw, a Kabutops. "Hello, I am No. 913." The Staryu said in a monotone almost robotic voice.

"Please relax Lucy. We will get you out of here." The Lumineon said reassuringly, the Gorebyss frowned, she didn't object, letting her body fall flat on Lumi, though she was still light weight due to the lack of food. Lucy's head was spinning, she didn't know what was going on, but she hear a lot of conversation rolling around Aegis's evolution, what did he look like now? Lumi too? Before and after evolution? Krenari? All she knew was scents. Fucking scents.

"Can we keep moving?" Aegis asked, he sounded forceful, as if trying to hide a tone, "We don't want to run into even... more trouble." Lucy nods, though she was quite unsure if they could see her, "Go. Just go." She probably sounded more forceful than Aegis, she tried her best to sound normal and not croaking.

"Hello, I am No. 913." A new, monotone voice came in, the Gorebyss didn't realize there was a new scent until now, he sounded completely normal, but yet the scent reeked of death, he must be like Lucy and Krenari. Good and well mannered stinky.
The Gorebyss wheezed, "Lucy here, nice to meet you No. 913."

Krenari looked to the other pokemon. Aegis suddenly spoke up.

"Can we keep moving? We don't want to run into even... more trouble."

Krenari nodded.
"I agree. We should keep moving." She tried to ignore her aching limbs. She looked up, and saw a star make its way over to the group. It looked like a fellow infected. A Staryu.

"Hello, I am No. 913."

Krenari looked to it with a blank look.
"I'm Krenari. Pleased to meet you."

"Lucy here, nice to meet you No. 913."

"Lucy?" Krenari swam over to Lumi, and looked to the eel-shaped pokemon. She blinked as she saw her wounds on her back. She bit down on her own teeth, making them clatter once or twice before she closed her eyes. She glowed with a sudden energy then, sweeping Lucy off Lumis back and into their own little circle of purified water. Krenari looked to the limp eel pokemon, before letting the clean and healing water envelope them both completely inside the circle, and then let it disappate. Krenari opened her eyes, and caught the still-healing Gorebyss. She looked to the others.
"I used Aqua Ring on her. She'll start to recover quicker now. She's still hurt, so she will need some rest." She put Lucy down on Lumi's back again; him being bigger than her, he could carry her easier. She looked down to the drifting pieces of the Wailord and back to the rest of the group.

Hello, more trouble. Aegis thought sarcastically. The Staryu who had foated up was losing parts of its body as it swam. His eyes widened as he watched it Recover, but they narrowed soon after. The voice of the creature sent a shiver down Aegis's spine. Regardless of his trust of Pride and Lucy, he didn't relish the thought of more infected. However, he introduced himself. He didn't want to worry the others yet. "I'm Aegis." He said, being intentionally short. His eye fell on Lumi, whom he kept strict watch on. In case of emergency, he would rush over and fight with the fish. It only seemed safest.

No. 913 would have smiled if it could but alas the old starfish could not. The only way of showing its emotions was through its grey'd core. The core flashed brightly, turning slightly red, reminiscent of its original color."Pleased to meet you."No. 913 slurred in it's usual monotone voice.

Then the staryu swam towards the Vaporeon. It's arm reached out and offered to shake hands. No. 913 being as old as it was had quite some manners, even for an infected."You my dear, you are quite a lovely sight."It said to the Vaporeon. No. 913 had honestly never been more charmed by another pokemons appearance. But the skinny water pokemon caught its attention for some reason unknown to it.

Zeqme floated numbly through the shores near the city, the Flame Orb clutching tightly within his jaws. His eyes were drooping, but even so he caught sight of the small group of both infected and living. Wait, infected... AND living? The Milotic stared for a moment, watching them carefully. They almost seemed to be friendly with each other. Weren't living supposed to fear the undead?

There were so many undead and infected... What if they saw him as the enemy? Should he swim away right now? Oh but some of them just looked so positively delectable... Licking his lips, he gently let go of the orb and used his tail to hold it. Clicking his mouth, he opened his maws right at the Gorebyss with a demented grin, shooting a straight Hydro Pump at the undead.

"Lucy?" Krenari asked, going behind Fin to get a better view of the Gorebyss, Lucy just wanted to curl up and hide her wounds, saying it's all right. And then... Voodoo magic. Holy shit, it felt like a miracle had just happened. Purified water circled around Lucy, wrapping around her wounds, cleaning them and acted as bandages. The undead Gorebyss felt new, refreshed! She got off Lumi, stretching a bit, "I used Aqua Ring on her. She'll start to recover quicker now. She's still hurt, so she will need some rest." Krenari mentioned, the Gorebyss shook her head, "Naw, it's fine, I think I can cope with the pain. Just as long as the wounds don't reopen, I think I am perfectly f-"

Lucy got cut off by a clicking sound, the Gorebyss stopped what she was saying, blinking a bit, and turning over to the direction of it. Some grey snake with a orb that seemed to glow red, before Lamialuce could react, she felt a strong water force hit her, her wounds ended up reopening. When the attack was over, the Gorebyss wasn't affected much besides the fact that her back was bleeding... again. She gave a long sigh, she was tired earlier from the fight rather than bloodloss [Of course, she's a fucking undead], but this? This? This was fucking ridiculous.

She gave a low growl, swimming up to the grey Milotic's face, "Look you demented bastard, that was a douchebag move you just pulled off." She pointed at Krenari with her tail, "See her? She spent her energy and time patching up my wounds, yet you just ruined them! Arceus, the fuck man?!" Lucy used her tail to hold her head, "Just... UGH!"

For so long, Lucy showed no one her bitchy side. In fact, she never shows anyone this side of her... Except her lover back then. So long ago, why would it show up now?

Krenari smiled at the fact Lucy felt better after she healed her. She blinked, then saw Lucy get slammed from the Hydro Pump. That happened in the blink of an eye! Krenari's jaw opened slightly and her eyes widened, then she turned to the source. She saw the Milotic looking pokemon, and her eyes narrowed. She growled, but then heard Lucy speak up.

"Look you demented bastard, that was a douchebag move you just pulled off. See her? She spent her energy and time patching up my wounds, yet you just ruined them! Arceus, the fuck man?! Just... UGH!"

The Vaporeon looked up at Lucy who was scolding the Milotic. Someone was standing up for her? Her heart got stabbed with adrenaline suddenly. Not once had someone stood up for her.... Who would? She was a royal bitch. She was about to back Lucy up before the Staryu came up to her and spoke. It outstretched a limb as if to shake her paw.

"You my dear, you are quite a lovely sight."

Krenari's face went to surprised, to a grin with a slight undertone of embarrassment. She put her paw onto the Staryu's limb.
"Thank you...."
If she were in her old state, she would said 'I know I am~' or something to that affect. She definitely needed a brain check. What happened to her old self? I guess being around others made her different.... She never really had friends before these guys. Maybe that was her problem; maybe she had always been a bitch because she had no one to back her up or be nice to.... Now that she freinds, she had a reason to exist....

Aegis rolled his eye at Lucy's reaction, before he could catch himself. She had been attacked, and all that she cared about was that her wounds had split back open. The newcomer surprised him, though. It was a Milotic, he thought, but its coloring was off. It held something in its jaws, but he couldn't make it out. He thought it was living, but he was tired of taking chances. The most obvious course of action presented itself to him, and he spoke slowly, carefully punctuating each word. "I wouldn't do that again." His voice rumbled. "You'll die." Perhaps that was a bit too short. Oh well.

((REally sorry for short posts, but I'm hitting kind of a wall for inspiration the last couple days. >.<))

Actually, what the fuck was I supposed to do when I saw 3 undead Pokemon just right there that might potentially bring harm?" he snapped back.

And then a Kabutops came too. Godamnit were they all trying to gang up on him now? "I wouldn't do that again. You'll die." The Milotic snorted. "A threat from a living fossil. How quaint. I don't think you should be threatening 6.2 meter tall serpent who is around 3 times bigger than you, thanks." The giant serpent would've said more but with his Flame Orb now starting to float away, he quickly rushed to it. "Ah! Wait, damnit-" propelling himself forward with a minimum of the energy he had left he quickly grabbed the orb in his jaws again, cherishing it.

Zeqme slowly swam back to Lamialuce and Aegis, an evident 'limp' in his swimming. He wasn't exactly healthy or well, and saying he was weak was an understatement. He knew that he would need to rest up or heal fast, or else there was a good chance he was dead.

"Look, bitch. First off, what did you expect me to do, waltz up to you with a big smile on my face and say 'hi lets be friends'? You're undead. And how the fuck was I supposed to know that the Vaporeon healed your wounds? Actually, what the fuck was I supposed to do when I saw 3 undead Pokemon just right there that might potentially bring harm?" This guy. Lucy was annoyed as hell, "What, you expect me to actually see that smile of yours?" Touchy subject you just tapped there boy. Though deep inside, she half-enjoyed this argument, she hadn't had one in forever that was like this!

Some stuff happened, in which, once again, Lucy cannot see. The Gorebyss stopped giving a shit, but she felt the need to lead the group for the moment - turning to everyone using smell, "So guys, shall we go back over to the League? I can't really see, nor tell whether anyone is tired, so if anyone is, speak up. We do have a long journey ahead of us... he..." She gave her usual little happy giggle, they're going to meet Arceus!

Hopefully no one would point out that her wounds on the back had reopened, and then they would be forced to rest. Lucy didn't want that, she just wanted to move forward now.

Lumi's eyes flickered to Pride, unsure, but at her smile, he allowed himself to smile, too. Aegis also spoke, moving closer to the Lumineon. His coice was very different compared to him before evolution, but he was no longer frightened. In fact, Lumi was now fasinated and excited with his new friend. "W-wow! Now you can cut up anyone rhat gets in our way!" He giggled happily, his widespread fins waving happily.
But then a voice droned nearby and the fish jumped in suprise. He turned slowly to regaurd who it was. It was a Staryu, and it had irregular splotches of discoloration on it. And the normally vibrant orb in the middle was a dull grey. He tried to swallow the bile that rose in his throat and forced a smile as it and Lucy exchanged greetings. Pride and Aegis also added their names, the newly evolved deifting closer to the Lumineon and he was grateful, but the big fish couldn't force himself to speak his name. However, Lumi was saved from the awkward moment as Pride came close and lifted Lucy from his back, purified water swirling around the Gorebyss and miraculously healing her wounds. However, there was no time to cheer as almost in the blink of an eye, a shot of powerful water came from nowhere and nailed a direct hit on Lucy. Fin gasped in horror as the wounds opened back up. And just as quick, Lucy had a group of irritated water types around her, ready to dfend her if nessisary. Lumi regaurded the newcomer, a milotic a dull shade of grey with a firey sphere in it's jaws, as the Gorebyss's voice rose. She was pissed. And rightly so.
As the Milotic gave a hot reply, Lumi felt anger rise within him. He may not have been the eldest, or smartest, or strongest, but he would be dammed if he would just sit around and let this dick insult Licy like that. As she snapped back about her blindness, Lumi darted next to her. He fanned out his fins in a display of dominance and his pink eyes were bright with fury. "How dare you come over like that and just ATTACK someone! What is your problem? What did Lucy ever do to you?" With a huff he turned away as the Milotic swam after the red orby thing. Yesterday, Lumi would have been thrilled to be around such a mighty pokemon, but today-and after he attacked Lucy- he was bolder and a little more critical.
As the Gorebyss suggested they continue on their way, Lumineon's eyes flickered to her once again open wound. "Err- I'm not tired," he told her. But the fish cast glances at the Staryu and the Miotic.
He didn't really want them tagging along.

Krenari looked up to the Milotic again. She guessed the others had gotten it with their distaste. Krenari already did her part for Lucy too. She swam up towards the eel pokemon to whisper to her.

"So guys, shall we go back over to the League? I can't really see, nor tell whether anyone is tired, so if anyone is, speak up. We do have a long journey ahead of us... he..."

Krenari listen to her giggle. She gave a small smirk of contentment from the Gorebysses sudden happiness. She then gave her reply.
"I'm not tired.... I could be a lot worse off. Aegis took care of most of the Wailord...." she blinked, and got closer to Lucy to whisper to her.
"Want me to heal you again? I can spare some more energy to help you...." she breathed relatively quietly to Lucy. She didn't want the others to maybe protest for the sake of energy. And she was rested. Aegis had taken care of the Wailord almost by himself. She waited for the Gorebyss to answer her.

Aegis hoped he didn't startle his friends when he began to laugh again. It wasn't the high-pitched cackle his madness had brought on before. It was a low, soft rumbling chuckle. It never grew much more than that, but lasted a long while. "Three times? Is that all?" He said, between gasping breaths. "Look down." In the depths of the water, the half-cut body of the Wailord could still be seen floating to the murky bottom. Aegis tilted his head, however, seeing the obvious limp to the serpent's swimming. "And if I'm not mistake, you're injured as well." He thought for a moment, looking to Lucy and Krenari, then the other one who had drifted in. It would be helpful to have another living with them, if only to settle the score. Aegis had decided that Lucy was unpredictable, but, if only for the moment, Pride was trustworthy. The glowing orb in the creature's jaws caught his eye, but he made no questions about it. Just as long as it made no comments on his eye.

"Undead or not, we owe our lives to each other tonight." He said simply. He didn't bother to flower the statement, the serpent was obviously tired, and he didn't want it to lose interest. Turning back to Lucy, he thought again. Projecting his voice so she could tell he was addressing her, he spoke his thoughts. "We need to get moving, but our new grey friend over here is not going to be able to move far alone. As rude as his manners are, I'd hate to leave him here to die. Nor should we run him to exhaustion. I say we make some progress, then rest when we reach Victory Road." If Aegis could remember the maps, that would pass them through a single route. If they didn't meet with any trouble, they shouldn't have a problem at least getting to Victory Road. They could rest like they had before, Aegis and Pride on land, the others in the water. Aegis stretched his arms and legs, craving the chance to test them out on land.

The events that proceeded after the introductions did not phase the nearly robotic Staryu. After all he was not be as old as Aegis but he was certainly very well learnt and quite calm. Instead of lashing out No. 913 calmly approached the Milotic, in a very non hostile way and asked "Is this violence really necessary?" Afterwords he floated nearby using another Recover on himself to appear much less dead.

When seemingly ignored No. 913 drifted back to the main group and over heard the conversation about heading to the Pokemon League."May I come along?" It asked blankly it's voice seeming to glitch a bit at the possible excitement. Then while awaiting an answer No.913 began to drift in circles around the group.
