(ACE) The MARSH Team

With his ears primed and eyes fixed Reed listens to the outside clicks. Between whips in the wind he can hear the bats calling to one another, their sounds the most basic of communication to keep tabs within the deafening gales. With each that entered the building a long delay occurred before the next. Reed could only assume, but he rationalized that they had been spread out over a search area, and when the call was made to search and/or rest here they started to funnel in on the location. Fools, he scoffs, thoughts not enough to make him miss a beat as the next bat comes into range and he takes it down with the most minimal of effort. You think we didn't see you coming?

The fur along his spine is forced flat, but the skin still ripples with a sense of foreboding as he removed the bat from sight. Another enters, the delay from the previous shorter, and is quickly taken out by the dragon. A small puff of flame lights the hall for a mere moment, the effectiveness of the dragon's tactics enough to get an approving nod from the Radeon. Licking the tickle of blood from his maw Reed returns to his position, the seconds still ticking perfectly on time within his mind.

The wind grabbed the door and flung it fully open, the cold and wet air immediately taking advantage of the chance to dampen their warmed sanctuary. The cold breeze crept in swiftly, but its chill was nothing compared to the noise of the outside without any soundproofing. From their angle it was impossible to properly see outside, but Johvani froze as they saw and heard two bats enter at once. Already? Digging their claws into the carpet the poison type scooches back the tiniest bit, their resolve unsteady but not shaken.
As the first of the pair came their way like the ones before it, the order to search more powerful than any other desire, the second practically collapsed as it attempted to settle on the curtain rod and fell to the seating below. For two heartbeats Johvani feared this plan would crumble, but in the same moment the bat fumbled in a heap of flapping wings onto the couch Reed leaped and brought down its companion. The sounds overlapped perfectly, making the disheveled one none the wiser.

A single enters next and yells at the remaining bat, the beats closer still, and as both started to scan Reed could see the hints of confusion within their eyes. The swarm is coming. He thought first, and bunched his muscles as he became even more aware that, they are noticing the emptiness. With a small signal to Johvani the Radeon speaks not a word and launches himself the moment the bats lower themselves into range. His prey squeaked as fangs sank into its tender wing bones, but it wasnt afforded the opportunity to make another before hitting the ground. His thud echoes a second louder one, Johvani having moved in tandem with her own strike.

With a toss on the pile Reed could feel the mass coming. The number they had taken out exceeded expectations, gods had they sent the whole flock? The clicks were too close now, too many to make a move as what he prayed was the remainder flew inside. The tired stragglers did not seek to search like those prior, and instead instantly settled and flopped to the ground in bedraggled heaps. Too many eyes, too many wings.. Placing his body in front of the others he physically blocks from from moving forward, a silent 'stay still' as he watched for their moment.

Bat after bat, Reed grits his teeth as his target finally comes in; a Crobat. It flew in last, no others in its wake as it observed the number of inferiors within the room. Without a moments hesitation Reed bolted forward, leaping through the room with one swift motion and pulling the door closed. With a trained paw he locked it, and kicked a chair to cover the handle for good measure. With a furious growl he roars, "NOW."

Every time Seek thought the Marsh could not get worse it exposed a new layer of hell. Just like the gym the bats felt endless, every time they removed one of them two more would fly in. The pile of stone cold Golbats grew exponentially, and was quick to take over the small space they were occupying. Were they about to be pushed out and punished for their success?! Who makes a plan that's hindered by winning! Using the wall to leap the light Aiveon tackles the next bat midair, her meager weight not enough to knock it down until her electrical attack coursed its body. With her wings still feeling useless the pair fell in a heap, and only with Eleroo's quick assistance were they able to get out of view again before the next bat flew in.

How is this better than running?! They could have used the storm, the trees, the dark.. why did they choose to leave themselves stranded?! Gritting her teeth the Aiveon stares with panicked eyes as three, four more enter the space, their chittering sounds and unknown words clearly aware there was something suspicious going on. Scooting back a tiny bit her wings bump against the bats they had disarmed, and never had she felt so bitterly cornered before. Eleroo pressed against her side, though it was unclear if the gesture was meant as a comfort or if he had also run out of space. Even huddled together the pair felt no safer.

The numbers did not stop, and with each Pokemon that entered Eleroo felt a weight grow in his belly. They were trapped! With firm steps Reed stood in front of them, calm, firm, eyes narrowed with resolve as he watched the entire flock come for rest. Not a hint of fear reflected in his ruby gaze, and the confidence infectious enough for Eleroo to watch with baited breath. The last Golbat seemed to have entered, the pause much too long without one, and the sheer number was overwhelming. Was that it? Looking at Reed he hoped for something, for more, for understanding he was missing, but as his gaze narrowed even tighter the small Radeon watched in horror as a Crobat flew into the room.

Though not much different than its prior form its size was enough to send a chill down the child's spine. There was something different about it, the same sort of intimidation that Salem's cold eyes had given him. The visual too much and his breath caught in his throat. What did they do about that?! Eleroo thought his eyes were playing tricks as suddenly Reed dashed into the room of bats. To his horror it was real, the motion fluid as he closed the door behind them. "NOW." He yowled, the sound ferocious and igniting as he stage set for a final strike.

Seek wasted no time. It was just like the gym, she just had to keep repeating that in her head as she leaped into the room and released an electric surge throughout the sodden bats. The sudden roar of pained screeches was almost too much, but within moments it died back at the already weakened Pokemon could not take the strike.

The sound of wingbeats grew violent, the clicks and screams practically drowned by their furious flaps. But Reed paid it no mind. His red eyes were locked firmly on the massive bat, her impressive size old news to him and not intimidating in the slightest. Even for her species she was a force to be reckoned with, but it was all the same to Reed in the end. With an aggressive growl and his lips pulled back he stared at her with hackles raised. The smug, disgusted look in her massive eyes had not changed, looking down on him even now as she waltzed into his trap. Not a word was spoken between the two, the sight more then enough to confirm the feeling the mutual.

With heavy steps the Radeon started to move forward, the swarm of Golbats divebombing and trying to bite him. Their typing prevented poison, but his swift bucks and smacks would send him flying away regardless. With another snarling growl Reed leaps, aiming for her lower eyes with jaws agape. The swift bat dodged with little effort, a barrage of Golbats barrelling into him in her wake. With toxic paws Reed slashes through him, the force of his strike more important than its resisted typing.

With a quick turn on his heels the small Radeon launched himself again. Flying enemies were always the bane of his group. Their toxic pelts would weaken them at cost of taking wounds, or it would allow for back up to move in, but that didn't work here. No, he knew the poison bats would not be victim to his tactics. The rumbling growl did not stop even as he pressed himself low to the ground. With a dashing sprint the Radeon zipped, bobbing around the room so quickly fuax copies of himself continued to dash about from his Double Team. They jumped and dodged, confusing the enemy enough for him to leap and grab the low wing of his target from behind.

Johvani remained in the hallway, her paws hesitating though they knew what she must do. Cowardice was unbecoming for a Pokemon of her stature; an adult, a renegade, someone who was trained, who fought, who knew loss, a parent, a force mean to.. kill.. So many labels cycled through her mind yet the thought of being seen, of being known, of one of these Pokemon escaping and announcing how closely they lingered was enough to put the fear of Arceus back in her. But why? Would it truly change anything? Her soft eyes tipped downward to the small Radeon, his pads soft and muscles undeveloped. Was this their best response, did they even have a follow up?

A feral growl from Reed forced her to dismiss her idle musings. This was real, the reality and outcome of this fight not nearly as important as the unknown possibilities. Daring to close her eyes the Radeon takes on a faint shimmer, her attack building for the future as she charged in. With her own call a shield flew up around her, bouncing off incoming bats and aiding her allies as they needed it with her Protect.

The electrical shock zips and zaps around the Aiveon, finding wet targets and brightening the room in a quick flash of energy. With clenched teeth and wide eyes Seek pushed herself to the ground as the power faded, her breaths tight and quick. Just like the gym, she repeated to herself over and over, bats like the gym, not birds. Was this truly the same, was it different, did her body care? Unlike before these bats were panic-stricken, flopping about and unsure compared to the defensive strike the gym bats gave. Well, these were the same bats, werent they? Then why was it so damn uncomfortable? Seek's paws shook with unwelcoming sensations from so long ago, rattling her with anxiety. Her very body felt unstable, the rash decision to jump into the fray having used all her courage and leaving the child drained of resolve. This did not feel the same..

The wingbeats did not have the same sound, nor did their high pitched clicking match the squawks, but it was overwhelming nonetheless. The Golbats that pulled it together swooped and divebombed, pummeling her with a volley of small attacks. Instantly her pulse was racing, the experience earlier today having done nothing to desensitize her to this garbage. Even the pain did little to pull her mind for the memory as it grew more and more vivid, and the child gave the most pitiful of squeals.
Eleroo grimaced, his eyes wide with alarm as he watched the other eeveelutions charge in. This was the plan?! It felt like he was trapped in a nightmare, that at any moment he would wake in a pool of sweat back in their little building in Pastoria. But even as he crept forward and took an indirect hit he could not get himself to wake. This was real, and Seek's squeals tore his heart in two.

The savage sounds of Reed fighting the gigantic bat were practically louder than the storm of sounds in the room, but Eleroo could not keep his focus on anything but Seek. Beneath the sea of purple and blue he couldnt even see her bright lavender pelt, and firing off a Shadow Ball that hit one bat into another it did nothing to stop her cries. Gods above, what was happening to her?! Help, he had to help!! but his pitiful contributions seemed to matter not, and just as his breaths quickened to a dizzying pace Johvani leaped past and shielded her with a shimmering Protect.

The moments repreieve was not much, the endless onslaught of bats quickly cracking the barrier, but it was enough for Seek to stop mewling. With tearful eyes she took in a quick breath and fired off another Hidden Power, the attack awkward and ill-aimed, ready to hit whatever was in its way.

Even with his mouth full Reed's feral sounds were loud and clear. Despite the added bulk the Crobat maintained her flight, her primary wings more than enough to keep her airborne. With a furious screech she whips about the small space, her mastery of the air clear as she made tight changes without crashing into the enclosing walls. Digging his claws into her oblong body the Radeon tries for a better grip but is eventually shaken from the jagged momentum. Throwing his paws out he falls evenly, red gaze never leaving it target even as the lesser bats start to swarm him.

Johvani's Protect fades from her young charge, the barrier having served its purpose as it fades away. The Aiveon found her footing again, and confident she could handle her own with that brazen charge Johvani leaps away. Suddenly flashes and spheres of crackling light whizz past her, their charge finding purchase in the scattering bats that did not evade them. More fell to the ground, twitching and shocked to be shocked. With a cautious gaze the Radeon looks at them, the hearts beneath her eyes looking so sad with potent pity. These Pokemon deserved better, but the thought only lasted a moment before she came to Reed's side. His movements never stopped, paws limber and swift as he clawed the air to no avail. Standing still, Johvani found herself to be a chew toy for fluttering bats. The pain was almost familiar, something they had experienced too many times before, and with a sharp yelp she tries to pull the largest one's attention in.

Reed threw up a another Double Team, his copies the only grace that kept the pests away from him. The sharp squeak of his companion immediately draws his attention, the sound rare and alarming, but even beneath the swarm he can see it is a ruse. More bats come in, easy prey found, and his own target shifts to the overtaken Radeon. Not daring to waste the opportunity Radeon flexes his claws and charges. In a matter of seconds Johvani squirmed, struggling free of the sea of wings just in time to be bite by the massive Crobat. A real yelp escapes her muzzle, her second Protect failing to activate though it was too late to matter. With furious beats the dual type begins to lift her, but leaving herself open allowing Reed to race in. With a clear shot at her back he drags his claws across in a solid Cross Poison, the festering wound leaving behind raw skin where the poison could not effect.

The Hidden Power zipped and struck, the wild attack not meant to damage but disengage the swarm from around her. The bats gave space, not wanting to be hit and allowing the Aiveon a chance to breathe as the immediate airspace around her opened up. Sucking in a mouthful of air Seek tried to calm herself, but her shaking paws refused to clam themselves once again. What was happening? These weren't birds, they weren't feathers. Gods willing, she had already fought these damn things and it had been alright! Feeling lightheaded and dizzy Seek swayed on her paws, ready to fall over at any moment, until something soft brushed against her.

Eleroo's purple fur blended into her lavender pelt, the length so much longer than hers now. The warmth of his nearly vibrating skin was an instant comfort, the tiny Radeon firing off a Shadow Ball at the next bat to get too close. When did he become so confident? He turned his gaze to her, the shimmering ruby spheres reflecting his worry without need for vocal confirmation. It was too loud to hear anything in here anyway.. Had he come just to comfort her? Legends please, when had she become so pathetic??

After Seek gave another pitiful mewl Eleroo could not stop himself from racing forward through the bites and scratches without a lick of fear. Suddenly, he was no longer afraid of this fight, of its outcome, of pain or their safety. Standing beside Seek with a firm stance, their flanks pressed together, he took no notice of his new scratched, and even leaped at the next Zubat to swoop too close for her comfort. Within the closed space their obnoxious sounds were enough to give anyone a headache, and though he barked to the others the words died out in the occupied air.
With all the noise pollution about them.. Eleroo's heart sank as he realized they could not verbally communicate. Even Reed's growls were smothered by the rest of the sound, just another drop in the cacophony. Had Shenron or Felix said anything? He looked toward his friends while pressed a cheek against Seek's. Were they still in the hall..?

In the dim light of the closed building the eeveelution's could still see Shenron's tail flame. Though he had reduced it for their sakes it still gave off light, and both young Pokemon started to leap and yelp as they could see a few of their knock out bats rising from the heap.

Unable to get another grip on the Crobat Reed stands his ground in a dominant stare down. She lifted up to the crest of the high ceiling, judgemental stare looking at him like some ill-mannered child. "Too good to fight?" He mocks her, just begging the bat to belittle him like she always had, but his voice was lost within the noise. Even if she did hear him she gave no indication, and instead gave a series of chirps to instruct her useless minions. Several Golbats followed helplessly, dive-bombing Reed's real form and striking with blades of air. Nicks and cuts in his skin abound, the Radeon did not back down from their visual competition until a bat struck his face and forcibly broke the connection. With a feral snarl he grabs it, sharp fangs sinking unremorsefully into its flesh and shaking until its weight forced him to let go. Bleeding heavily, it stumbled away, too pained to even fly within the safety of its flock.

The initial panic had waned, the bats flying in more uniform patterns though exhaustion still clearly plagued them. Their numbers were thinning, between those Reed had taken down, those too yellow-bellied to fight, and the rest the others had stopped. The noise remained unbearable, but the airspace was clearing out a bit. With each bat brought low Johvani felt the weight of this fight growing. To send so many, the entire flock even, was foreboding in its own. Though her moveset did little for these pesky Pokemon she still drove away anything that got too close with a quick Jab, and looked for some way to be of more use. Instead she saw the kits bouncing and wailing, their eyes lit up with panic. Had fear gotten to the young ones? Following their gazes over to the hall the adult Radeon stiffens upon seeing many of their prior knockouts recovering.

With her own yelp she tries to warn the other two, but the dragon is swarmed and must fling the pests away before she can act. Bounding over the Radeon sinks claws and fangs alike into squirming bats, unafraid of their poison or harming those she was once acquainted to. "Out of the hall!" She barks at the Sylveon, and nudging the dragon forward ushers them into the madness of the sitting area. They were winning, she realized with an excited gasp, with a number of bats no longer able or willing to participate, but they needed more force. Turning to the pile Johvani snaps at anything that moves, grateful that most of them remained in their daze.

Tired of their noise and games Reed lets out a low snarl and increases the level of poison slathering his pelt. His Acid Armor built, festering and scaring off any bats that dared to get close. His patience was waning, tolerance for the small fry depleted as he demanded they be dealt with. "Blast their asses already!" He yowls over the storm of noise, the meager distractions no longer acceptable as he commands the others to attack.

The kits wailed and whined, their panicked voices lost to the cacophony as their companions stood unaware to the looming threat. Eleroo made panicked steps in place while Seek jumped, and though they were no help Johvani leaped in to action. Seeing their friends under threat Eleroo wanted to rush in as well, but a Zubat flew right in his face, and battering it away forced him to remember their current position. Lowering his head with a heavy whimper the small Radeon placed his faith in Johvani, whatever she wailed being too far away and drowned out for him to hear. Seek jumps and sinks her teeth into the Zubat's slender leg as it continued to hover, dragging it from the air and tossing it away from them as a warning.

Motioning to Eleroo to move the pair kept low and scurried about the room. Anything that got too close was hit with an Air Slash or Shadow Ball, and if it didn't learn a quick swipe would push them away. Though they bit and scratched Seek realized these bats were hardly attacking with proper moves, their energy levels too low and swarming acting as their best offense. Her confidence started to rise, these non-birds no longer the threat she once thought them to be.
The big one, however, was still a nightmare. Having risen out of range it looked down upon them, Reed remaining the target of its undivided focus. Was there a reason, was he doing it on purpose, did he need help? Making their way toward the other Radeon Seek wondered if they could make any sort of difference, if numbers would help the savage Radeon get an edge. Instead, his voice rumbles throughout the room, just barely managing to sound over the deafening storm. "Blast their asses already!"  The roar surely did a number on Reed's throat as he used brute force to communicate, but the message was received.

With her wings twinging Seek dare not rise, but with her own roar she let loose a Hidden Power right above her. The electrical current zipped, finding new targets and sending the rest into a panic. The attack was making her dizzy and jittery, the sparks being used too many times in succession, but she sent another toward the Radeon to scare off any there were buzzing around him. Another, another she told herself, no matter how nauseous she was feeling. Feeling unsteady on her paws the Aiveon lowers herself to stay upright, the attacks taking more out of her than she had to give. Drawing a deep breath she tries to muster another, but loses all focus as another series of clicks is followed by a sudden shrill squeal.

Another flash of lightning crashed down, blinding those inside and shaking the very building as it hit something nearby. In that instant the Crobat dove, finally making another move with its blazing fast speed. A Shadow Ball built at Eleroo's maw, his breath labored, but it fizzled away as pain crushed down on his ribcage. With the ground ripped from beneath his paws the Crobat fluttered back toward the ceiling with him in tow. Yelping like a newborn the Radeon struggled, the feeling igniting instant panic and memories of East's abduction. "NO! Stop it!" Seek screamed, fluttering and daring to fly on her injured wings. The struggle was clear, her motions labored and strained, and the swift bat easily moved away from her pitiful attempt before blowing her back to the ground. Even with her mouth full the Crobat managed another couple of clicks, the sound so loud Eleroo swore he'd go deaf, and the Golbats started to swarm around their lead like a fluttering shroud.

Doing as what Reed said, he moved away from where he was and yet the danger remained. Felix gritted his teeth as he stares right at the Crobat as he seen what it had. Shit, it has Eleroo. NO! Stop it!” Seek shouts at it. It wasn’t listening. "RELEASE HIM!" Shenron shouts in rage. How to deal with this situation. The leader is a threat and requires immediate extermination. One thing though was whether Felix can get a clear shot with swift. They circle around the Crobat like they’re trying to keep anyone from getting close. Looking behind him, Felix moves to an area where he can get a shot on the bat.

The eeveelution jumps up and lands on a wooden box. Watching the golbats swarm carefully, he had to time his attack precisely. If he fires way to early or to late, it would cause them to flee with Eleroo. No, not anymore. They’re not getting Eleroo again. They can send this message to East and Salem that Eleroo is not theirs to abuse and treat horribly. Felix thought to himself as he sees the openings and how many seconds he needs to use swift before the gap is opened to strike the Crobat. As they looped a few more times, Felix, without hesistation attacks with swift

An attack fills the rooms, bats falling one after another though the numbers were not what Reed had hoped for. Gritting his teeth all instincts told him to yell again, but he knew it'd be a waste of breath. Those milling around him fluttered or fell away, bringing some result from his order, but the changes were not enough to satisfy him. Flashing his teeth the Radeon slabbers and spits at the risen Crobat, but she remains too high for him to reach, too dismissive of his very presence. Was she really holding onto that grudge after all this time?

Lowering himself to the ground Reed prepares to leap. Even if he had to jump off all the furniture he wouldn't let the pansy loiter about in his space so arrogantly. Smacking his tail against the floor as he dashes the Radeon sprints onto a table, the couch, and leaps to a bookshelf, using anything he can to gain height in the room. Pivoting and jumping in amateur parkour the space between him and floor grows, but his target was master of the air and took no notice of his quick ascension. With a zigzagging swoop she dives, clipping him with one wing on the way. Though Reed readies his claws her speed is too much, and without any grip his is thrown to the ground.

The plush part of the floor prevents any heavy thud but a noise fills the room regardless. A sharp squeal, raw panic in motion that draws in the gaze of both Radeon. With looks of horror they see their kin taken hostage, the squirming kit flailing to no avail within the jaws of the much larger poison type. "NO! Stop it!" The Aiveon whines so intensely one would think the other Pokemon had just been killed before her. Leaving their previous charges both Radeon leap and make moves to catch the Crobat before she can rise, but another swift command calls the majority of the remaining Golbats to her side. Swarming around her like a winged shield neither Pokemon can get close with their claw and swipes, and leaping just leaves them open to attack.

Though it did not seem like she was harming the boy the small child did not stop screaming. The sound was enough to make Johvani cringe, a life or death panic taking over the tender Pokemon as it was held hostage. What other pains had he seen to react so violently...? The group finally sprung to life, their smallest easily playing at their heartstrings as he begged to be released. Johvani paced, her moveset not build for airborne targets, and feared they may be at her mercy.

Reed grit his teeth, disgusted by the Crobat's methods. To stoop so low as to traumatize a child, had she no shame? She had always welcomed dirty tactics, but even this was beneath her. Desperation? The cold, rational Pokemon showed no signs alarm and was uncomfortably stoic, but even she must realize this method would fail when stuck in an enclosed location. With a snort Reed flexes his claws and once again starts to climb furniture, but he is not alone. The Sylveon finally acts, leaping onto a crate and firing off an attack.

Seek's nerves were firing like mad, unable to decipher her panic in to anything productive. Her limbs were weak, feeling stiff will also being shaky and weak. Blood pumping so hard she could hear it whistling in her ears Aiveon thought she would pass out, the tension throughout her body enough to smother her. Yet for all the adrenaline she was cold, the dread knot in her stomach tightening even harder with each mewling squeal Eleroo let out. With massive, unblinking eyes and clenched teeth she didn't let him out of her sight for a second, swearing she would not lose him this time. Even though there was a ceiling in the way this time, the poison Pokemon still felt impossibly far away..

Squirming and flailing about the Radeon cries out in alarm. Though the bat's teeth were not digging in enough to cause agonizing pain being moved without consent again immediately sent him spiraling. The aerial tip was nauseating, the bat moving too quickly and with jagged motions, and made him feel ill on top of everything else. Pathetic cries came from his maw without thought, a mere reaction in his panicked state, and even the built up toxins on his fur could not stop his poison type attacker. Between his host, her swarming followers, and everyone else milling about everything around Eleroo was moving, and even more nauseating. Unable to keep up and process the input his eyes squeeze shut, and his cries get louder as any sense of location is lost.

As other Pokemon move and strike the energy breaks Seek free from her initial panic. Once again she finds herself raising her wings in a futile effort to take to the air, the delicate appendages still beat from their past abuse. Unable to rise the Aiveon runs and jumps, leaping high in the air with her light frame but not nearly high enough to reach even a single bat. Letting electricity spark through her fur she plans an attack, a distraction, anything to bring it back to ground level, but Eleroo's cries prevent any her from letting out any attack that could splash. Staring at the Crobat and taking in a rattling breath Seek feel even more helpless. She couldn't fly, she could reach, she wouldnt attack..! What was she supposed to do?!

Thankfully, her hesitations were not copied, and the others began jumping and climbing what bits of furniture they could to gain height. Taking a moment to aim Felix lets loose a quick Swift, the shimmering stars always finding their mark and bursting against some of the shielding Golbat's. While there were too many to get through to the Crobat the struck Pokemon fell or flew away, too spineless to stay in formation. Protected from the strike and unbothered by the efforts the Crobat drifted their collective to the side before whipping up a powerful Air Slash. The blades of wind raced and scoured throughout the room like razor blades, gouging grooves in furniture and making the torrent of noise even more deafening.

A slash flings toward the window, and while it does not break and eerie crack branches out from the impact. Alarm bells fire even harder as Seek's blue eyes lock on to the spot. They couldn't let that happen! A slash races toward her, and distracted by the new threat Seek feints to the side just a moment too late. With a sharp yelp she falls to the ground belly first as it scores a hit along her flank, her chin hitting the ground with a pained thunk. Drips of blood spray to the side, a burning pain already starting from the clean slice that drip down her leg as she struggles back to her paws. Legends help her, she had wings now, she had to be more useful than this..!

Jumping and flailing like a fish out of water the Aiveon can not get any air with the lack of strength in her wings. Each beat is agony, and any bit of loft is quickly lost as she stumbles back to the floor. Her new wound only made things worse, each jump just irritating the cut and bringing forth a new spurt of blood. Even flapping for her own flying move is too much as she slumps back to the floor.

Every hair along Reed's neck stood on end, razor sharp fangs snapping at the air as the Radeon watched some few of the bats fall away from the Swift. A sure hit? An invaluable skill, but against these numbers he knew the user would fatigue before their enemy was down. Still, they needed that opening, that chance to strike and cause meaning damage! Yet she drifted, nonchalant and seemingly oblivious to their plight before sending out another strike of her own. The blade-like whips of wind were razor sharp, damaging anything that fell in their path regardless if it was friend or foe.

The Aiveon was hit, the shrill cry enough to sound over the storm of noise as she falls to the ground. Immediately Johvani bounds to her side without a moment of hesitation, their paws moving well before they comprehended the issue. As the smaller eeveelution squirms the adult noses and sniffs at the wound; a clean, long hit, it would cause sharp pain and free bleeding but was not deep enough to need immediate attention. Without any regard for her wound Seek was back on her paws and bouncing in a futile effort to reach the captured Radeon. Now was not the time to ask, but the display was more than enough to tell Johvani the state of the child's wings.

Yet neither Radeons' focus could remain on the pitiful welp. The alarming crack of shattering glass sounds akin to breaking bones, a noise so unnerving it sends a shiver along their spines. Other than a flinch neither visibly reacts to it though, dodging the attack and keeping their sights locked on the Crobat and its posse like good little tools. Without exchanging a word the pair alters their priorities and springs into action. Johvani raced toward the couch with great leaps and placed themself defiantly in front of the window. Flexing their paws they readied themself to cast another Protect if needed, and would swipe anything else that thought to get close. With blistering speed Reed raced the moved once more, his Double Team working over time to leave doubles in his wake. If may be no more than a visual deterrent but it would serve its purpose.

The fluttering sound of endless wings quieted ever so slightly, the Swift hadn't punctured a hole in the Crobat's defenses but it did have an effect. Yet Seek could only look on with wide, panicked eyes. Why, she screamed in her head, why was no one helping?! Felix struck but yet their airborne enemy still fluttered about without a care in the world. In her jaws Eleroo's squirming seemed to slow, to still like accepting prey. Was he getting tried or-- Rearing onto her hind legs Seek whips and forces her wings forward with a much force as she could muster. An air Slash races upward, matching the horrid strikes that had rained down upon them but in vastly fewer numbers. Let it be the speed or simple disrespect the large bat did not move, her living shield taking the strike head on. Several bats faltered and fell off from the formation, but once again no hole appeared in her defenses.

Eleroo panted and wheezed, his rib cage aching and panicked mind growing dark with exhaustion. Each breath was painful, her bite too great to even wiggle his coat around. Stressed toxins practically dripped from his fur, the child once again feeling wet from his own sweat and secretions as his burning legs struggled to fight back any longer. With pitiful mewls that grew softer and softer he cried, begging for anyone, anything to help, but none came and slowly morphed his panic to overwhelming fear. Had he not grown any stronger, any braver to not always be the victim? Did the world still see him as a non-factor, or an exploit? Wiggling his hips he tries to give his tail a good flick, a chance to hit her in the eye or something, but even that desperate move allots him nothing as the heavy appendage feels more like a pendulum than a tail.

Digging her paws into the carpet Seek flicked between all Pokemon in the room. They weren't attacking.. they weren't attacking!! Felix was the only one, yet adding her damage to his they weren't getting anywhere! Even the Crobat's attack back seemed to do little, a display rather than a threat. Gods forbid, were the bats just toying with them now?! "Do something!!" The Aiveon squeals a desperate plea to the other Pokemon before spinning and giving another Air Slash. Sharp pain shot throughout her wings and hips, the jolt enough to make her body cease and fall to the floor. I can't save him... She should be the one to save him, the one with wings that could reach him, yet she was lower than everyone else. I cant do anything.. With tense muscles the lightweight Pokemon stands once more, her vision blurry with tears as she yowls. "He's tough, he'll be okay if he's hit!"
