"Scyther is a bipedal, insectoid creature. It is primarily green with cream accents between its body segments. On the back of its somewhat reptilian head are three points, and it has narrow eyes. Its forearms consist of large, white scythes, which it uses for hunting as well as fighting. On its thighs are spikes of fur, and it has three clawed toes on its large feet. Two pairs of cream-colored wings extend from its back. While these wings do allow Scyther to fly, it is rarely seen doing so. The abdomen of a female will be slightly larger than that of the male. Born in a lab designed for experimental splicing under the watch of an up-and-coming team admin, D'Vorah was immediately tested as soon as she was purged from the womb. The Admin of the team 'Ex-Outworld', named Mileena, was hell-bent on creating destruction machines that would overthrow the rule of Ko'atal--a rival team leader, of whom deposed her many years before as leader of 'Outworld' itself. "Ovipositors," Mileena had said, her arms crossed behind her back, "are what shall end Ko'atal. I will create a beast that will end his reign. It will rule the insects that crawl upon this dastardly earth--with this creature, I will destroy his future. Let us dance!" As such, D'vorah and her many generated siblings were tested for strength through many strenous tasks. This included tattoos on the skull; not only was it a mark of the the 'Ex-Outworld' team, it was also an assessment of pain tolerance. Any Scyther that lost conciousness was immediately exterminated, or had their genes and body parts extracted for further testing; including the ovipositors that they were all manufactured with. D'Vorah, born with an innate desire for life and competition, survived the trials, and thusly was chosen as Mileena's weapon against Ko'atal. Her ovipositors were her prime weapon--she implanted her young into many of her victims to gestate and mature. She dubbed her army of young the "Kytinn," and D'vorah was the beloved brood mother. However, soon, D'vorah grew headstrong against Mileenas' rule over her, and sought to exterminate her as well. Armed with her ovipositors and venom excretion, D'vorah escaped the lab to join Ko'otal and his forces. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
