"It had a resting place. When it stopped moving the air flow didn't disturb it's scent much so it formed a kind of imprint of scent around it." Cketch struggles to explain.
His ears perk up at the small bone smell's description.
"It'll be a grass type then..."

The Roserade seemed scared...but not too scared by some reason. Halloween let out a low growl trying to intimidate her. The thorns on his arm started to glow as he walked closer to her and growing slowly at the same time.

As he rised his arm to slam it into her and attack her with a Needle Arm his body became paralyzed...Why? He couldn't understand why his body didn't react...The Roserade...seemed even more enchanting than before. More beautiful...He shouldn't kill such beauty. Wait, what is this? Why he had these strange thoughts...Why was Halloween attracted to this Roserade, it made no sense.

Torrent quirked a brow at the little cubone as the latter described the terror within the tower. Candy? Why the hell would any zombie carry CANDY on them? And why would he be so... generous if he truly was one of the monsters? The dragonite shook his head as it began to hurt with all of the strange statements. It just didn't make sense.

He let the pup speak as well. So it was a large cactus kind of pokemon... While he hadn't had much contact with pokemon from other regions beside Kanto and Johto, he remembered one from his travels and battles that could have fit the description. He just didn't know the name anymore. "Well," he said softly after the two finished, "it'd be a good idea to stay away from that place, then. No need to go out and put ourselves into unnecessary risks. There's no resources there, only danger. If it starts making its way over here, then we'll have to move or just fight it."

[OOC: Skip. ;;A;; Having a small writer's block. Let's just say Therese agreed with Torrent. :>]

Noir didn't like the idea of having to fight the thing he had met earlier. He didn't understand why it was nice to him or even why he saved him from that other pokemon, but the little Cubone knew he didn't want to fight the walking scarecrow pokemon.
After a short while, he broke the silence that had fallen.

"I-I don't think we should...bother him." Noir muttered under his breath, kicking lightly at the floorboards. He looked towards his can of food. Shuffling over to it, he looked in and sniffed.
There wasn't much left and he was still hungry, but he figured it's only fair that he'd share since the dragon shared with him.

The Cubone shuffled up to the blind Pokemon and gazed up silently. Putting down his Pikachu, he reluctantly held the can in both hands and raised it up to his paw, tapping it lightly so he can feel where it was.

"What about the others? Should we post a warning?" Cketch asks. Even if that thing was territorial enough to stay in the tower what was to stop prey going to it? Or would it wander when it was hungry.
Cketch flinches when he feels metal touch his paw and sniff at the can curiously.
Food!
"Thank you little one." He says, attempting a smile.

Halloween seemed paralyzed, although he could feel that his body was still able to move...he wasn't afflicted by the Status Ailment of Paralyzis...something else kept him from attacking. The Roserade stepped closer to him, she didn't seemed afraid at all...something was wrong.

She held her arms open to him, he was about to shoot her with Pin Missile, taking her move as an offering to kill her but something made him stop, he wanted to kill her but at the same time he didn't. Why was this happening?

So, as they all agreed not to bother the pokemon in the Tower, Torrent looked them over and then glanced back to the kitchen. With this many pokemon, they'd run out of food quickly. The water still ran, since it was filtered straight from the ocean, but food for four pokemon -including a giant like himself- was going to be hard to come by.

He sighed and laid his head on his paws. "...So. No Tower. But if all of us are going to stay together, then we need to think 'bout food," he muttered. "Especially while we still have daylight." He studied the others, then his gaze settled on Therese. "So. I'm staying here, no matter what. This is my home. But you all can leave, if you wanted... You aren't trapped here."

In truth, he completely expected to die within these walls, like his mate and comrades. He didn't want to pull anyone else down with him that was still alive, and if they had different plans, then he wanted them to go for them while they still could.

"I-I don't think we should...bother him." Therese gave a brief nod. "Let's try to avoid contact with any undead or dangerous Pokemon for the time being..." she mumbled. She watched as Noir brought Cketch a can of food, which evidently made the Marowak smile. 'How nice of him.'

"...So. No Tower. But if all of us are going to stay together, then we need to think 'bout food. Especially while we still have daylight." She felt Torrent's gaze rest on her."So. I'm staying here, no matter what. This is my home. But you all can leave, if you wanted... You aren't trapped here." Therese paused. "For food, I guess I can go out foraging for berries on the town outskirts for us." she murmured. "Hey, Torrent, do you mind if I stay in this house too? I mean, the other houses are too broken down and the atmosphere is comfortable here."

Noir sat down on the floor next to the couch, his eyes on the floorboards.
"So. I'm staying here, no matter what. This is my home. But you all can leave, if you wanted... You aren't trapped here." The Dragonite said, adding the last bit in a dark tone. The Cubone tilted his head and narrowed his eyes, still looking down.
"Neither are you." He said quietly, pulling at his Pikachus' ears.

When Therese mentioned the town outskirts, the young cubone shook his head, rattling slightly. "There's not much left...I already looked." He turned red as their eyes fell on him. He didn't like attention, but he didn't want to see her hurt. "Th-um...There's...monsters that way anyway...the only food...is in the long grass, the other way...but..." His voice cracked, stopping his sentence flat.
Maybe I should shut up now. She probably knows already anyway....
He thought as he scooted himself closer to the couch in uncertainty and discomfort.

Cketch licks at the can and, seeing the meat is still good, eagerly consumes it.
As he licks the last bits from the bottom of the can the purple tip of his tail twitches uneasily.
"It's getting dark. It will be night soon..."
Despite their little discussion Cketch was nervous.
That sand scent was powerful, whatever was compelling it to stay in the tower might only be temporary.
When that time came the last thing Cketch wanted was to be trapped out in the open.

The Roserade was starting to back away, she seemed to fear something else and was starting to get depressed. Halloween looked at his body as he flexed his arms...He could feel regaining the control of his body again. He smiled.

Trick...or treat?

He slowly turned his head towards the Roserade as his spikes started to glow white and grow into a large size. He prepared a Needle Arm as he grinned and swiped towards the Roserade...She shall pay!

Torrent listened to the others and was interested in the little cubone's comment on how food was out in the tall grass. He knew exactly where that was, and if the wanted dinner, then they would need to act quickly.

"...All right, then," he began as he stood on all fours, stretching his legs. "We should head out there, to the tall grass, to find some berries or spare supplies humans may have dropped. I haven't checked there in a while." He moved past Therese and looked down at her. Therese's reply to his first question warmed him a little, though, taking his mind off the current plight. "Sure, Therese," he said softly. "You can stay."

He checked outside first, poking his head out before turning to the others inside. "...Now... seeing as how I'd rather not have all our numbers in one place, I'd like half of us to stay here while the other half goes to forage. I'll go get food, but what would the rest of you want to do?"

"We should head out there, to the tall grass, to find some berries or spare supplies humans may have dropped. I haven't checked there in a while." Therese gave a nod. Torrent moved past her, stopping for a while to speak. "Sure, Therese. You can stay." She smiles warmly. "Thank you."

"I'll stay to make sure no infected gets near the house, and I can keep watch from the window." she suggested. Therese wasn't entirely in the mood to go outside, her stomach was churning in the most gag-inducing fashion. She almost felt that if she moved, she would faint. Her mind was hazy.

Noir curled up closer to the couch, unsure of what to do.
It seemed the dragon was leaving to look for food, and the Marowak was staying here to protect the house.
Those monsters...I'm sure they're out there still...but maybe Torrent...Noir thought, petting his Pikachu.
But...if I don't help...they might kick me out...
Sighing deeply, he slowly got up and waddled over to the Dragonite and tapped his foot with his bone club.

"I-....um....I'd like to...um....help..." He said so quietly, it was almost a whisper. He looked down at his feet, his plush hanging from one hand, then back up at the dragon, towering over him.
"...Please?..."

"I'll stay here." Cketch offers. "I do not trust that tower thing."
His tail twitches irritably. He wants to paint.
"You look like you could use some company." He adds to Therese.
There was a strange smell about the bone keeper pokemon that the blind Smeargle thought he recognized, a tough nasty bitter smell.
If the large bone scent was unwell she could need defending...

He was able to do some damage, however the Roserade seemed "offended" by his attack...What was wrong with her? She attempted to attack by blowing out Sleep Powder onto him...Halloween sneezed and rubbed his "nose" as he shaked his head and looked at her.

She started to dance and petals started to blow and attempt to cut him, he stayed still. All those sharp petals were delivering several cuts onto his body but it barelly seemed to make effect as he didn't even flinched. He aimed his arm at her and the spikes started to glow. He grinned at her as he prepared a Pin Missile.

Trick or Treat. Give me Something Sweet to Eat!
His voice echoed through the tower before multiple needles were shot from his arm like bullets from a minigun towards the Roserade.

Torrent waited patiently as everyone settled out where they would stay or go. He was relieved when he heard Therese was staying with the house-- out of all the other pokemon there, he trusted her the most. Not that he didn't trust the kid, Therese would just be able to handle a bad situation better.

Speaking of which...

He felt a small poke at his feet, and when he looked down, he saw Noir's small form below. "I-....um....I'd like to...um....help..." He said so quietly, it was almost a whisper. Torrent couldn't help a small smile encroach on his usually stoic expression. Noir seemed so timid, like his own child... "...Please...?" he added.

'Ievah...'

Torrent seemed caught in a daze for just a moment before a grin set upon his face, moving to scoop the small cubone up and over onto his back. "Of course you can. You need to help me find where you were talking about, Kid. Let's go, while we still have daylight." He nodded to Therese and slipped out of the house, chest heavy with regret. Those bright eyes of the cubone was too similar to his daughter's, the small dratini that had vanished along with the lives of everyone else he knew. It pained him to think of her, to see the same sort of expression on another child... even with its face half hidden...

"You look like you could use some company." The Marowak smiles. "Certainly, it's not safe to be alone." she murmurs. Therese's mind cleared for a moment, allowing her to think as she waved good-bye to Torrent and Noir, who went out of the house. She hoped that they would be alright, that nothing would attack them. Of course, the Dragonite would probably be able to defend them, but it was still better safe than sorry.

The Motherly Pokemon turns to Cketch, curious. "May I ask why you came to Lavender Town?" she asks. Lavender Town wasn't popular amongst Pokemon and Trainers as many ghost stories circulated around it. Therese herself wasn't sure if they were true or not, but she did wonder about that Ghost that was said to lurk near the upper floors of the tower...

As the dragon smiled faintly, Noir felt a warmth in his chest.
Maybe I can be helpful?...he thought hopefully. Before he knew it, he was being scooped up by the giants' claws and up onto his back.
"Of course you can. You need to help me find where you were talking about, Kid. Let's go, while we still have daylight." Torrent said. Noir loosened up from the ball he made of himself, still clinging tightly to his femur bone and plushie. He looked about with wide eyes from his new standpoint as he took in his words.
I can...help...?
He trod to the center of the dragons back right between his wings and looked down at the others, smiling faintly at Mother. He waved his bone timidly before Torrent made his way out of the house. He wobbled uncertainly, but gained his bearings quickly as he leaned against the dragons' wings.
For the first time in a long time, Noir felt almost...happy. He looked about from his high standpoint, seeing the world from a different perspective.
"Everything looks so small!" he whispered in awe as he bounced from one shoulder blade to the other, careful not to fall off.

"I am a nomad. I wander." Cketch says evasively. The past was the most dangerous ground to tread.
"I heard that one of my friends was here and thought that they might be able to help me...turns out they were here but in the tower. I went to pay my respects and almost got ambushed."
His tail flicks. He wants to paint something for Therese but no doubt Torrent would kick him out if he started covering the walls in purple.
"What about you? You don't generally see so many beautiful Ground Types around here."
