Attention Pokemon Professors of every Region! We have a state of emergency in Johto! Quarantine has been issued. The Pokemon Infection you were all previously warned about has now reached epidemic proportions! No one is safe, I repeat, no one is safe! In order to stop the spread to other Regions we have called the order to put down any Pokemon spotted in Johto, signs of infection need not be apparent. Thousands are dead, and we cannot combat it. Our last and only hope is total quarantine. If this infection reaches your Regions, then may Arceus have mercy on our souls...

This…This cannot be! Mewtwo looked down in horror at the video monitor he kicked over, the screen still frozen on the terrified face of Professor Elm who had read off the ominous message. He wasn’t sure what to make of all of this. Called the order…to put down any Pokemon?! The nerve of those…those…self-righteous fools! It was Humans who caused all of this in the first place! They and their ridiculous quest for the ‘Ultimate Pokemon’ led them down this dark path yet they weren’t the ones being punished? The thought was infuriating in and of itself, yet wasn’t it these very creatures who claimed to him that they loved their Pokemon? That once told him they would do anything to protect them from him? Now they turn on their so called friends just as easily simply because they are terrified for their own useless lives. Pathetic.
He could feel his power growing, feeding off of his hate and anger. The massive energy was radiating off of him in waves, vibrating the very walls and floors of the building he stood in. Mewtwo’s eyes began to glow an eerie blue and, unable to contain his own fury any longer, released all of that unbridled pain and rage into the unsuspecting world. He didn’t really care about what happened to anyone trapped in its wake, just of devastating anything nearby to satisfy his resentment of the Humans. Little did he know how far such power could reach, and just what it really could do to anyone caught in it...

Attention everyone. As most of you may know, I am Mewtwo. I have come to inform you that, due to this recent episode of mine, many of your teams are going to be divided. Some of you may never see your friends again, while in turn you may be making all new ones. Those who have kept to the deadline and are focusing intently where they wish to end up will do so without fail. I wish you all luck in your new locations and recommend that you pray to Arceus that you can survive...if he listens.
That is all.
