| History | Charade was hatched to two ditto parents in the care of an Entertainer. |
| Appearance | "In its natural state, Ditto is a light purple or magenta free-form shape blob with vestigial facial features. It also appears to have two vestigial, handless 'arms' protruding from its body. It is capable of transforming into an exact replica of any physical object. However, if Ditto tries to transform into something based on memory, it may get some of the details wrong." A standard blob of ditto jelly. Her entire body is a viscous gel she shapes to match her needs using Transform. Her eyes are two dark spots and her mouth an open slit with a darker pink inside. She has two protruding nubs of jelly that form the closest thing to arms she has. Her entire body has wet sheen to it and is slightly sticky to the touch. She is very nervous natured and will try to make herself smaller if she feels threatened. Because her body lacks bones or any other internal structures she can fit through very small spaces. She learns about new things by touching them. |
| Personality | "The anime has shown that occasionally a Ditto cannot change its face. Ditto will also be unable to remain in a transformed state if it starts laughing. Ditto cannot mimic the strength of another Pokémon, but it will adapt the form and abilities of its foe. When two Ditto meet in the wild, they will attempt to transform into each other. Ditto will also transform into a rock when sleeping to avoid attack. Ditto is never far from civilization or people." Charade cannot speak and is forced to rely on her ability to transform herself to communicate. She is often nervous and shifty and will hide if startled. When night comes she transforms into a rock to avoid being harmed. She enjoys being close to other living for protection (and to have something friendly to transform into) and will cozy up to anyone who looks like they won't try and hurt her. She is always on guard except when sleeping when she transforms into a stone. She is often doubtful and cynical but will go along with others rather than try and communicate her concerns. When scared she vibrates and hides her eyes. |
