History | Before Groudon, there was nothing. No trees, no grass, not even a single ounce of dirt. He created everything from nothing, expanding the land further and further. There was only one problem: His nemesis Kyogre, the great whale, wasn't thinking like him. He prefered to expand the seas, submerging the lands and destroying what Groudon was trying to create, like some kind of Ying and Yang gods. With a furious roar, the migthy beast threatened Kyogre to completely obliterate him if he was to step in his way again. Kyogre answered by submerging once more a good portion of a freshly-made continent. It was the sparks that lighten up the cataclysmic battle between the land lord and the master of the sea. It was an age of torments and darkness, as everyone present back there were helpless to face the fury of both legendary Pokémon, so their only choice was to hang on and hope that one day their battle will end. Fortunately for everything that is still alive today, the Migthy Lizard, Rayquaza, the sky regent, descended from his kingdom and settled the conflict between the two titans, definately shaping what we know today as our world. After the lands' last modifications, Groudon and Kyogre went on separated ways, the Water Leviathan sinking into the sea for an unknown location and the Ground Behemoth settled himself in Seafloor Cavern. They both fell into a heavy slumber, not to be disturbed for ages to come. After what appeared to be an eternity, someone dared to wake up the mighty Groudon. It was Team Magma's leader, Maxie. However, even if the man's goal was to win more land over the sea, Groudon wasn't exactly trilled by the idea of someone controlling him. Groudon saw in humanity a side-effect of the land, like the vermin that inevitably crawls in the sewers of a nearly-built city. After being awoken, he sought the Cave of Origin as his own sactuary. He however was beaten by a young Pokémon trainer. His ego took the shot, conceading defeat to the kid and his Pokemon partners. To his great surprise, the trainer let him be, and continued his journey forth. To this day, that trainer is the only human Groudon respected. Since then, no one disturbed the Behemoth slumber in his pool of lava..... untill now. |
Appearance | Groudon is a massive, bipedal, dinosaur-like creature covered in red, segmented plates of thick skin that act as armor. It has a gray underside and large white spikes that run along the sides of its head, body, and tail. It has four claws on each hand, four dozer-like blades on the end of its large tail, and three claws on each foot with grey markings under its feet. It also has blue stripes inside the seams of its armor plating which can only be seen when Groudon is glowing with power. (From Bulbapedia) |
Personality | He puts himself over nearly everything that exist. His patience for something that doesn't interest him is extremely short, and tend to lead to him showing his boiling temperament. Has a disproportionate ego and sense of pride. Despise the human race, but is okay with Pokemons. Just.... don't fuck with him, K? K. |
