It was finally done. The Fighting type's screams echoed throughout Glass's mind, the terrible caterwauling rang in her ears long after the Machamp was dead. Blood splattered her claws from when her claws had sunk into the machamp's acid ravaged skin. She hadn't even remembered hitting the fighting type. Her Sucker Punch had done more damage than she first thought. The shoulder she had hit was completely ravaged, six long gashes where her claws had sunk into the fighting types flesh burned images in the Disaster Pokemon's eyes. She stood there, staring at the gashes for a long while before Mathias's voice brought her back to the present.
"You..did good Taph, I'm proud of you. Same goes for you Glass, you both helped me a lot." Glass blinked a the voice, unsure at first who it belonged to. Reality came back to Glass slowly as she started making sense of her surroundings. Mathias and Taph were nearby and there was nothing in her way from the exit.
We did it... We killed that motherfucker. Glass thought, but it was not a happy thought. She had just killed a living. But, the fighting type had attacked them, right? They were just defending themselves, right? Glass couldn't process the thoughts properly. She needed to get out of here, the smell of blood was clouding her thoughts and red was swimming in her vision.
Glass was starting to feel claustrophobic despite the fact that the lobby was wide open. She had to get out of that place, but she couldn't just leave Taph and Mathias there, could she? Glass was getting dizzy and the smell of the place was making her feel nauseous. Glass could feel her pulse in her temples, the throbbing was giving her a headache. Gritting her teeth against the painful throbbing, Glass stood tall, but her eyes gave away her troubled thoughts.
Forgive? Sounds good. Glass thought, her eyes darkened slightly, the dark type swimming into her thoughts.
Forget? I'm not sure I could. Glass desperately wanted to forget this place but with all she'd been through, she honestly didn't think it was possible.
They say time heals everything. Glass wondered if she'd ever be able to heal the mental scars that this place had left in her mind. But time would heal them right?
But I'm still waiting... Glass remembered when her father had exiled her from her clan, those scars still gashed her mind with fresh wounds everyday.
I'm through with doubt. Glass shut her eyes, a scowl that showed her inner thoughts across her face.
There's nothing left for me to figure out. Glass felt her clashing thoughts in her mind. One side was telling her to leave, the other was saying to stay.
I've paid, a price Glass had felt betrayal before and she knew how it felt, she didn't want to leave Taph and Mathias there alone.
And I'll keep paying. Glass snapped open her eyes. She wouldn't stay in this hellhole any longer.
She was getting out of there.
