Out of curiousity, will the characters that have been approved before the purge be ranked by the post numbers currently or will we restart from the last 2 posts prior to the purge?

It has been stated several times. The first post you make after the Purge was completed is Post-Purge count 1. You have 25 posts to prove yourself or to get placed into Rookie.

You current count does not count towards Post-Purge counts. However if you still want badge types keep your current count in the post with your Post-Purge count following it.
