History- Blaze was bred in Kanto to be a starter Pokemon for rookie trainers, always to stay loyal to them, no matter what. One day, a nice young boy strode in and chose Blaze, he named him accordingly. Blaze was still a young charmander by then, and so was the boy. They leveled together and stayed with each other always, making a strong bond, if not inseparable. They stayed together, eventually starting a party consisting of a rattata, nidoran and a pidgey. He made friends with them and formed a kind of bond similar to a sibling to them. The boy leveled the other pokemon of his party, but not Blaze, seemingly forgetting about him. Blaze still loved his trainer, even though seeing his friends evolve before his eyes made him feel disheartened.
When the infection first hit, it hit like a tsunami. His party were visiting Lavender Town, the supposed land of the dead, to visit the boys extended family there. They stayed there for a few days, sleeping and resting there. One day, the now pidgeotto, left to gather a few supplies for the day ahead, when she returned, she was badly hurt. She had skin ripped off her left cheek and a large bite on her wing. Blaze asked what had happened. It turns out a Fearow had dive-bombed her into the ground and tried to start eating her, scratching at her with its claws. They brought her to a pokecenter, trying to heal her. They had to keep her there for a few days, just so they could check if she was severely hurt.
While waiting a few days after they put the pidgeotto into the pokecenter, Blaze's party was anxiously waiting, as they had her with them from the start, not wanting to lose a important member of their party. The boy decided to go check on her with his Nidoran. Leaving Raticate and Blaze by themselves.
In the middle of the night, they returned. The boy was badly shaken and the Nidoran was in his arms. Dead. His Raticate was so badly traumatised by seeing both of his team members die, that he ran away. Now that it was only the boy and Blaze, a under leveled pokemon, it seemed that there was no hope for the boy and Blaze. So they did the thing the boy thought was the most responsible thing they could do in this situtation. They fled.
As they were walking, a raticate with marks and bloodied fur jumped out of a bush and attacked the boy, gnawing at his arm. Blaze didn't know what to do, so he breathed fire onto the raticate, burning it alive. After watching the Raticate turn into a pile of ash, Blaze ran to the boy, checking what happened. The boy was alright, aside from the fact that his arm was useless and not even able to move.
After a few days of running and defending, the boy started to become sick and becoming a sickening pale white. Possibly dying by being bitten by one of the infected from before. Then one day, the boy fell to the ground, not moving. Blaze stayed by his side, even protecting his body from the undead. He remembered that he promised to stay loyal to his trainer. No matter what.
After two days, Blaze needed to eat. So he quickly ran into the bush, looking for berries or something edible. When he returned, undead fearow and pidgeots were feasting on the boys body. It made Blaze want to vomit. It made him want to jump in there and attack them, burning them alive. But he knew he couldn't. It wasn't what his trainer would've wanted. So he did what his trainer would've done. Flee.
Appearance- Blaze looks like an average Charmander, the only way you can actually distinguish him from other Charmander is that he wears glasses and a bandage around his left leg.
Personality- Blaze is a fun and
out-going charmander, like his older evolution, he can be cocky and quick to
anger. But like most pokemon of his species, is brave and strong.
User Notes- One day, while roaming, Blaze ventured into a humans house, he found some glasses and put them on, just for the fun of it. When he put them on, he found everything seemed to be cleaner and when he took it off he noticed that everything was much more blurry than what he had when he wore the glasses. So he took it with him, wearing it with him.
One day, while fleeing from some undead, Blaze tripped unto the floor and grazed his arm, that's why he has the bandages.
Blaze is also related to Jet the Dratini, they share an extended family.
