History:
At one point, Kol did belong to a trainer, a young and inexperienced one. Inexperienced as he was, the boy had a good heart and a kind attitude that Kol learned to mimic. Kol had been the boy's first and favorite Pokemon, the duo were never apart. The Teddiursa never remembered much about his life before he met his trainer (because almost immediately after he hatched, he was given to the boy), and he didn't want to. Nothing could live up to the joy he felt when they were together.
Then the epidemic began to spread. Kol remembers the day that his trainer and almost all of the other humans left, the images are always lurking in the darkest parts of his mind. The only thing he has to remember his old trainer by is the quick claw around his neck.
He has always wondered what life would be like if the epidemic had never started: Would he and his trainer still be together? Would he have evolved yet, maybe? Found a mate? Kol knows that there is no use dwelling on these things, but he can't help it.
User Note:
- Kol is very naive and tries to see the best in other Pokemon. Regardless of this, he is terrified of becoming sick and dying, so he is quick to flee at the smallest sign of danger.
- Kol appears to be no different from most other Teddiursa, save for the claw around his neck and a small nick in his ear from his first day on his own, gratuitously given to him by a frightened and angry, but luckily uninfected, Linoone.
- Kol desperately hopes that one day, someone will find a cure for the epidemic, and he will be reunited with his trainer. He is unfailingly hopeful and loyal.
