History
Book was a native of Unova, as all Larvesta. His egg found its way into the possession of a somewhat inexperienced trainer in the Johto region some time before the outbreak. Soon, he hatched, and found himself in a world completely alien to his instinct.
Initial disorientation made Book a difficult pokemon to use. His master never cared for him, favoring pokemon he was more familiar with. On top of that, as hard as he tried, he couldn't figure out how to make Book evolve.
Frustrated with his apparently uncooperative pokemon, his Master left the young bug with the Day Care, promising to "return when he was strong". Book never saw his master again, but he never forgot. Master called him weak, so he would become strong. Master called him useless, so he would become the best.
Then the outbreak came.
As the world came crashing down around him, found himself clinging to his will to prove Master wrong. Vowing to himself to never back down from the opportunity to become stronger, he crawled forth from the ruins of the Day Care to be the pokemon that his Master wanted him to be. He renamed himself "Agni" to remind himself of his promise.
User Note
Agni is constantly seeking power, using knowledge gained from watching Master's other pokemon to grow in strength. The TM moves were learned from TMs scavenged from the ruins of Johto.
