I was a little taken back, honestly, as I got so many responses from inside the building. I bounced from one leg to another, a little stressed at the thought of meeting more Pokemon. What if they were hostile, like Shadow had been? Or worse, if they saw right through me to just the infection. I flinched, pulling one wing up slightly as if I were about to protect myself from a physical blow.
Honestly I deserved whatever hell was wrought upon me.
I just waited outside of the building for a minute or so. I perred into the building, my eyes wide with worry. What if I really had just been imagining it and there really was no one there? My blood ran cold. That would be a sure sign of the infection growing within me. My breathing quickened at the mere thought.
No... However, I was thrilled to finally have a Pokemon enter my line of sight and a deep breath of releif escaped my body. Praise Arceus- I was still sane after all. I easily recognized the pokemon species as a Froslass, however this one looked like she had a rought life. Discolorations were littered across her body and one of the crystals upon her head was cracked. Sympathy softened my gaze as watched her approach. I could see her eyes wave over me as she slowly came closer. Before I could introduce myself, she spoke, pointing at my leg. "Excuse me, but what is the 'R' on your talon there?"
The inquiry took me by suprise. I cranes my neck to glance at my leg, making sure that there was no blood or something. But there was nothing but the tight band. A sad smile pulled at the corner of my beak as I straightened again, regaurding the Froslass.
"It is all I have left of an old friend. It was gained under spiteful circumstances but I cherish it all the same." I gave no real details about the only accesory I had- no need rising possible hostility for the organization and possibly having myself be attacked. Behind the Froslass, two more serpentine pokemon came into veiw behind her. I recognized the one in the back as a Milotic, one of the rarest species I had ever had the pleasure to meet, but the green and gold one in front was completely alein to me just as Hauberk was. I disliked not knowing what it was, but I gave a respectful bow as the two came closer, greeting them.
I was not very, well, thrilled with how he showed his personality.
"Uh," the green snake started the conversation off first, showing clear intelligence behind the great exterrior."I'm Darron, dude. That's Carrie and that's Nalin." I flicked one wing out, not too thrilled with the new company I found myself with. Dude. What a splendid word. I hid my slight disappointment by glancing at the Milotic, Nalin, and the Froslass again, Carrie. I nodded to both in turn as the Darron kept speaking. "You ok? You don't look so hot..." That hit a nerve, but I forced myself not to respond. What was I truly suppose to say...? 'Oh yeah, that's right, I am just sort of-maybe-possibly infected. Yeah. I am going to try and eat your eyeballs in a week.'
Nope.
Instead I just openly ignored that part of his inquiry, and went to bowing again.
"Estatic to meet all of you," I said as I lifted my head again, my eyes tired but optimistic.
"I call myself Sem."
