The CERULEAN Team

Ethana was close to just getting out of there, since the infected was starting to overrun this place. She didn't know how long they could keep this up, even though Miyu was keeping many of them frozen in place.

But when the sound of the silver paper came to her ears, she turned her head. It was the unknown pokémon who had decided to let herself get seen.

Ethana quickly made her way over to the little blue one, still keeping the infected at bay. "Come on, let's go! Before this place is filled up with the infected! You can jump on my back too if you want." She didn't know whether or not the blue one would take the offer, but she knew she had to keep close to her so she could get away safely.

((OoC - Skip again please. I still can't do anything, Miyu is just hangin' onto Ethana for dear life lol.))

It wasn't long before the Charizard had arrived; revealing herself to Shinx and handing the Electric-type the signal to leave; "Come on, let's go! Before this place is filled up with the infected! You can jump on my back too if you want." Though hesitant, Shinx made a hasty getaway as she hopped onto the Fire/Flying Duel-type's back; Shinx half-wondered if Ethana was used to bringing Pokemon on her back, she actually seemed like a newly-evolved fellow. However, she didn't dare to use her claws to ensure her grip on the Kanto Starter -- she was afraid it would hurt Ethana. Even so, she only struggled just a bit to climb onto her back, how her feet dangled helplessly for a mere seconds gave her quite the shock (pun intended?).

Nonetheless the Electric-type forced herself to sit comfortably on her back, hang on tight perhaps if things get on edge. The constant cries of Undead groaning and yelping for meat filled her ears, the crackling sound of the silver bars made her remember that the world isn't as it used to be. Though Shinx would hand Miyu a bar herself -- now didn't seem like a good time. Hopefully the Eevee could hold in her hunger.

A wave of relief went through Ethana as the small blue pokémon, struggling, got on her back. As soon as the blue one was on her back safely, Ethana turned towards the hole in the wall, seeing as this was the only way out at the moment even though they had to go through the pack of infected.

She growled deeply. "Hold on, this is not gonna be a smooth run" she told the two on her back, as she charged at the pack of infected, using her claws, tail and teeth to get them out of her way. When she finally got out of the pokémon center, she also lightly used her wings to get the blasted infected away from her and the others, while charging for the edge of town. Going towards route 9.

With everybody in tow this time, Ethana spun around toward the hole left by that Zoroark and let out a growl, "Hold on, this is not gonna be a smooth run". A smirk slithered onto Miyu's expression, "No problem! I'm thinkin' we can take down anything." The whole scenario reminded her of the days she thieved with Rebel, and she loved it.
The Eevee readied her battle pose in preparation as they burst out into the open night air. The slight chill of the wind and the calls of the Undead got her adrenaline pumping, for once her fear died down, survival was her only instinct.

The Infected didn't stand a chance as the Charizard ripped and tore through them on their way to Route 9. One stray Zigzagoon leapt from behind towards the duo of smaller Pokémon on her back, "No ya don't!", Miyu sneered as she rolled backwards underneath it and flung it away using her back paws. "Whoooo!", she laughed quietly as she readjusted her position so she wouldn't fall.

[Ooc: Skip, really dunno what to write ;; ]

After running for a while, Ethana looked back to see no infected. They had outrun them. 'Thank Arceus, maybe we can get a bit of rest now...' She looked at the two at her back to check that they where fine. Luckily, they where both there and seemed unharmed. She let out a slight sigh of relief. Then she lied down carefully.

"Since it seems like we have run away from the infected, we can rest a bit here... I honestly need just a minuet at least..." that was properly less than what she needed. She nearly had NO clue on how to walk, or even run, now that she had evolved. And she had been running with two others on her back! She was pretty much exhausted! She looked up at the sky, keeping her breath as normal as she could while waiting to see what the two others would do now.

The sounds of Undead growls and scampering finally faded into nonexistance as the trio escaped into the darkness of Route 9. It was a welcome change of environment, Miyu was so sick of Cerulean City, she could've flipped a table, or took down a tree, or something. What was originally a beautiful city of water was nothing more than a playground of freaks, and the past few hours had been one of the. Longest. Days. EVER. Ethana lowered herself down to lie in the dew covered grass, Miyu immediately and carefully jumped down. It must not've been very comfortable having two others on her back! "Since it seems like we have run away from the infected, we can rest a bit here... I honestly need just a minuet at least..."

"Are ya okay?", Miyu asked with concern apparent in her tone, "You can rest as long as you need to. Since I'm a canine, I'll be able to hear if anything is creeping up!". The Normal-Type pricked up her ears in regard to her words and listened for anything nearby. All was quiet and for the moment, they were safe.

Thank Arceus they left the situation quickly; Ethana immediately landed, catching her breath as she laid to rest. "Are ya okay?" Miyu asked, "You can rest as long as you need to. Since I'm a canine, I'll be able to hear if anything is creeping up!" Shinx rose a brow at this statement, feeling a bit of annoyance actually arise in her. Canine means you can hear anything creeping up? Doesn't this apply to most of the Pokemon kingdom anyways as their senses are far stronger than humans? She shook that off, however, not wanting to bring conflict even though she could never say a word [She had a feeling these Pokemon could possibly read minds!]

The crunch of the silver bar made the Flash Pokemon blink, remembering why she had it in the first place. With a mild struggle, she brought out the silver bar. It was now crumbled, flimsy even. Why was that? Was the inside of the bar broken? Shinx frowned, feeling saddened that the food was no longer looking edible, but it was still food right? She would feel ashamed handing this to the Eevee, but it was the only thing that could keep them going.

Shinx stomped her paws on the ground, attempting to catch the Evolution Pokemon's attention as she dropped the bar, nudging it slightly in her direction. However, the Electric-type did not rise her head, as she did feel disappointed she let the bar break.

Ethana couldn't help but to smile when Miyu answered her. "Are ya okay? You can rest as long as you need to. Since I'm a canine, I'll be able to hear if anything is creeping up!" She bowed down her head lightly. "I'm all right, and thanks... But I doubt I'll be resting for too long..." That wasn't completely true. She was feeling weird, she had ever since she had bitten the infected one in the first place, like something was changing. It made her feel a bit scared, even though she wasn't gonna let the others see that. But at the same time, she felt... Stronger somehow? Because she knew that the fact that she could get them all out here like it was nothing shouldn't have been possible... She had nearly just evolved!

She looked over at the strange blue one, as it took out one of those silver bars back from the center. She then stomped in the ground, clearly to get Miyu's attention, before nudging it over towards the fox. Ethana smiled warmly at that, it was really generous of the little one to think about Miyu like that. Ethana then looked to Miyu to see how she would react.

"I'm all right, and thanks... But I doubt I'll be resting for too long..." Miyu was relieved. The thought of staying in one place like a hung meat freaked the fox out a bit. But then again, when they did start moving again, where would they go? There was no such thing as a safe place anymore, hopefully the sun would rise soon and shed a little light on the insanity. But night always came, and seemed to last longer than the day. Miyu sighed at the thought of being left in the dark again. Stupid zombies. Stupid epidemic.

Miyu rose her eyes towards the dark sky, filled with hundreds, if not thousands of little lights. They blinked softly, their pale blue color dancing in the darkness. Such perfection in a worse situation, at least the epidemic couldn't screw that up. A brighter light shot across the sky as if it were racing, flooding the Normal-Type with memories. "A shooting star!", she whispered quietly as she pointed a furry paw heavenward, "Someone I... used to know said when a star shoots across the sky, you should make a wish."

"I wish you were still alive..."

She was snapped out of her depressed state and spun around to face the blue Pokémon stomping about. Miyu wasn't exactly sure the point of it all until finally, the Pokémon pushed a shiny package in her direction. Oh, it was one of the bars Orin had! "For me?", she asked as the slowly picked up the package, "Thank you!" Miyu smiled as the gently pulled the package open, perhaps not everything was bad even in the world now.
A good deed simply meant more.

Miyu pointed out a shooting star before taking the bar with gratitude. Shinx felt her face grow hot, hiding it behind her huge scarf without raising her head. But what tugged her heartstrings was how the Eevee seemed so saddened. Nonetheless, the shooting star reminded the Electric-type of her owner. Though she should have despised him for killing her family; she knew it was an accident anyways. The shooting star; they would always see it in their home, always once or twice did they see them daily, and every now and then; a meteor shower. Those were the good times, the good times where nothing wanted to eat each other, where they didn't have to watch out for some contagious disease.

Shinx felt saddened, but indeed did they bring good luck as they could wish on them. However, the new plan; what were they to do now? Continue living and hope there's other survivors? Or just simply stand around and wait till death comes and welcomes them? Even so, Undead would roam the land, what could they do? Other than constantly killing Undead in order to stay the dominant species, aren't they bound to rise up from their graves too? With the situation at hand, it seems like living a normal life is improbable. It has been a year afterall since it began (though Shinx rarely keeps track of time), yet no one figured out the solution to Pokemon rising from the dead. Does that mean all hope is lost?

She dismissed that question, maybe the duo will explain what they will do when the time approaches. For now, rest is needed. Shinx had been up and about for far too long. Without warning, she stood up, the Flash Pokemon dragged herself to a nearby tree with a nice cool evening shade (also so that she won't feel so defenseless out in the open) and curled up next to the trunk. A wave of darkness overcame her, she quickly drifted into a dreamless sleep.

An uneasiness rose in the Evolution Pokémon as the others prepared to sleep. Ohhh, why did they have to stay there? It was a gloomy twist of trees and vines that anything could hide in. Miyu wouldn't have slept there had she been offered a hundred Pecha Berries.
With a few attempts, she finally made it to a low branch, then to a higher one. If she wasn't going to sleep, she could at least keep an eye and ear up for any freaks. The woods were utterly quiet, save for the occasional howl of the wind.

A sheepish smile played on the fox's face as she looked over her own form. Her fur was dirtied and stuck out at random angles while stained with blood. Her cuts had finally scabbed over and ceased bleeding. That eased her mind. She was paranoid of becoming infected, because of that, she always groomed herself and was careful not to be injured. Until today anyways... She was actually fighting! And even thrown out a window! Though the latter really wasn't the highlight of her day...

Miyu curled up her tail around her to block the wind that sent chills down her spine. This was gonna be a long, lonely night.

The sheer cold of night was enough to wake the Normal-Type up from a dreamless sleep. She appreciated the lack of nightmares for the first time in a while. Miyu bolted up at the realization she had fallen asleep accidentally while she was looking out for Ethana and the quiet one.

“Ethana?”, she called as she slid down the tree trunk, “Where did you go?” She looked around for her friend, hoping she simply went to get a drink or something. No reply was given to the worried fox as she backed against a tree. “Why Ethana…?”

Her mind raced with the possible things that could’ve happened after she dozed off, none of them more comforting than the last. Tears formed in the terrified fox’s eyes and began to drip into the dry soil as she became more frantic. What was she going to do? Surely she couldn’t fend for herself against an entire horde of Undead.

She wept quietly, unaware she was being stalked from the looming darkness. Snap. She looked towards the sound of the twig breaking, her brown eyes were met with two red ones. An Undead Persian leapt towards her, just barely missing due to a well timed duck from the Eevee.
It let out a gurgling hiss, and Miyu panicked. She stood, shaking at the sight of the demon. “I have to get out of here... Now!”, she mentally yelled at herself. She fought against a much fiercer foe earlier, but now was different. She didn’t have Ethana to back her up. She was utterly alone.

She turned tail and ran, the Persian not far behind.
