The Aiveon kept herself front and center, though felt considerably more… pompous, now.
Her Pokemon? R’hia hid the fact that the eeveelution was grating her nerves, simply nodding when appropriate in response. The smile was half-hearted, and she dare not complement much else, lest the girl’s ego fill the whole room…
While she takes a pause in speaking, another eeveelution-
Felix, approaches, bantering casually.
”Oh, a map? I’ve got one, actually. I’ve lived in the region all my life- though, once we’re ready to move, I can get it out and show everyone the area. Were you all in the Marsh before?” She brings her hands up to her shoulder, gently sliding the straps of her pack off and setting it aside as the Sylveon moves towards the door. Not quite getting cozy, but trying to take the time to catch some breath, now that the potential hostilities seemed to have dissipated.
"Huh? what's that thing you're carrying? it looks rather unusual compared to the ones back in Kalos. What was he talking about? She looks about her form, her pack, seeing if there’s anything of note- Oh! The katanas!
”Oh, these. They’re katanas- they’re made with a single sided blade, and are specialized for swift strikes and cutting power, rather than thrusting and more jack-of-all-trades styles of other swords.” She smiles wide, proud of the two weapons, holding onto the sheaths on her hip with one hand.
”There’s plenty more detail to them, if you want to talk about it sometime!” He seems to offer a quick acknowledgement before heading back to where they all came down from, offering a pleasantry goodbye as he goes.
The Abra, seemingly the quietest of the bunch thus far, took this time to speak up.
"It is you who should be impressed in yourself, as you seem to have weathered the storm no worse for wear." Is that a complement…? She assumes that it is indeed one, philosophical as it may sound.
”Thank you. I’m not sure about being no worse for wear but… I’m here. Shouldn’t we all be a bit impressed though? I mean, that any of us have made it this far, for this long- it’s something to behold, right?” To her it really was- the Abra made a comment about it being a feat for a human, but for anyone- even poison types, who were immune- it was an unforgiving world. The purple one introduced himself- was that the poison-type eeveelution? She’d never seen one in person before. Cute… being a bit skittish only adds to the adorableness, too! His name is Eleroo…
”Well, Eleroo, it’s nice to meet ya! Hope we can all be friends!” He seemed to be the warmest of them all, if her intuition was anything to go by. Those who shy away are often the ones who have a kindness to them. He went back to the dragon, and- well, in general, the group seemed to return to business as usual. Were they quick to trust, or just that exhausted?
Asura lifted himself from the wall he was propped against, as the others begin to dissipate. Shenron offered a fleeting introduction, and Seek- seemingly rethinking her actions- was oh so kindly informing the woman that she could stay.
Feh… at least she is not being interrogated. He walks forward, standing before her silently, eyes wandering. There is little chance that this woman is not the one he recalls- the unnaturally white hair, for her age. The eyes, a shining crimson. He motions towards a counter with some toppled chairs, his voice as gruff as ever.
”Come.” The two move to the counter, a small distance from the others. He can’t keep his face tense, and relaxes into the grin from before as she uprights a seat and sits at the low counter.
”I have not seen you since my master brought me back to Ludger for my evolution.” If she had any drink in her mouth, it would have been spewed out like a fountain- what living Pokemon would remember her fathers name, after all? She studied him, trying to pull that familiarity out into the open. The almost rust-tint to his skin… that’s it! The Machop when she was still tiny, and came back as a Machoke after he met Vin! A.. Asu…
”ASURA!” She gleefully yelled out his name, forgetting that there were others present aside from them. She all but vaulted over the counter, wrapping her arms around the hulking Pokemon, laughing. His face flushed red, even against the already orangish cheeks of his, very, VERY clearly having naught an idea of what to do. His muscular arms simply remained up in the air, until he very gently patted her on the back with one- at which time she let go.
”Holy SHIT! I mean, what the hell are the odds, especially THESE days?! And look at you, still standing out like the sorest thumb you can be!”Asura laughed- for the first time in front of anyone in this group, giving a hearty few before reducing it to a pleasant chuckle.
”And I see you have not outgrown your youthful energy, R’hia. There is much to discuss, indeed, but you should know some items first. I have only encountered this group recently, though they seem capable- and sincere- enough. The Abra was here when we entered the building, as well, and seems welcoming enough. But we are all recouperating still. We endured a small army of foes in the evening of yesterday. Do you have anything to spare, if we were to need it?” Asura wasn’t about to say it to her, even as she leaned against the counter and listened intently, but he was not doing well, even with the berries from before the trek. He was still bruised and battered, and Guts kicking in left every muscle aching still. She seemed as warm as ever, though… a relief, knowing some had become cruel with the epidemic.
