History:
Arnie was born deep in the Safari Zone far from human contact. When he was a few days old, he wandered off from the cave he hatched in despite his mother telling him to stay put as she looked for food. He was playing in a meadow of flowers when a large Honchkrow began flying in the distance. He had never seen another Pokemon and he was curious to see what it looked like, but the rugged appearance scared Arnie and he tried to run away; the Honchkrow managed to catch up. He felt it's claws barely touch his body, and before he knew it, he tripped over a stone and fell into the earth. If he hadn't, he would have been snatched.
The Honchkrow still flew. It quickly turned around, and Arnie never forgot how bloodshot and lifeless its left eye was; the right eye was missing. That eye seemed to have turned him into a statue. He couldn't move.
Suddenly, as the Honchkrow closed in for the kill, opening it's claws once again, his mother leapt out and struck the Honchkrow with her club. His mother quickly turned towards him. Go! Hide! Don't come out until I tell you to! Her own eyes commanded him.
He did. He ran towards bushes and leapt into them. He rolled into a ball as the Honchkrow's and his mother's battle cries rang the forest. It felt like forever until it stopped completely with no transition. He slightly uncurled, but remembering his mother's eyes, curled back into the ball and waited. He waited until he fell asleep in his position. When he woke up, he jerked. He remembered what happened, and without another thought, uncurled out of his ball and ran for his mother. "Mother!" He yelled, but stopped dead in his tracks. What was left was simply a pile of bones. Many of them were crushed and flesh still bore them, but the smell, despite the stench of death, was definitely his mother's.
All he could recall doing for several days was burying a hole in the cave he was born in, dragging every single bone, and tossing them in the hole. He kept two though; her femur bone and skull. Like many Cubones before him, he slipped on the skull over his head as his mother had instructed him to do when she died. He didn't shed a single tear, for he promised her as her bones were being covered with dirt that he would find that Honchkrow and get revenge for her. Later that night, he looked up at the moon, and cried.
He now wanders all of Johto, trying to find that Honchkrow with the left eye.
