Human Fortress | Afternoon
[ooc: apologies, didn't see that it was my turn!]
Raikou growled as he heard the sound of Mewtwo's laugh reach his ears, almost hearing the smugness and affable joke within the noise. What an annoying noise! With a huff, the Thunder Pokemon continued down the corridor until they found a computer of sorts (he wasn't really familiar with human technology), the psychic kitty instantly taking charge of the scene. Hmph.... He certainly wouldn't admit it, but Mewtwerp was certainly proving his usefulness.
With that, a strange message relayed through the room, speaking of cities that he knew of and words he never heard of. The electric Legendary twitched his nose, trying to grab a sense of what was happening. DNA? Incident? Rendezvous? Raikou wondered just what larger and upscale plan the humans had plotted this time around, something so terrible it defaced the human race. You know where to go. Mewtwerp had begun to speak again, typing away on the keyboard with a determined and set face. Yeah, to the forest to grab a few more Rattatas to eat. Raikou humored himself as the floating psychic type did his business.
Mewtwo spoke of going to a 'Shadow Lab', turning to all of them after his large revelation. Raikou perked up from his daydream of what dinner would be, sharply turning his head towards the Genetic Pokemon as it explained that he would return as soon as he found his answers. The Thunder Legend felt a growl at the back of his throat begin once again, but he rebuked himself. It was inevitable, and Mewtwo was off to face a danger unbeknownst to any of them. ... If you see that Honchkrow, give him a taste of what he's done to this world, will you? If there was one thing that Raikou would not admit to, it was that he was concerned about the annoying Legend. Never!
Ho-Oh and Lugia then inserted themselves into the conversation, speaking that they should not leave any human base out of inspection. Scraping his elongated claws along the floor, Raikou felt his heart speed up at the mention of finally taking action against the epidemic. He nodded seriously to the other Legends, awaiting the heed of Suicune to take off towards Viridian.

Human Fortress|Afternoon (13)
... If you see that Honchkrow, give him a taste of what he's done to this world, will you? Mewtwo was a little taken aback, was that...concern, coming from the yellow rat-dog? How...unusual. Mewtwo grimaced, choking back the threatening affection for the idiot that tried to surface. No. He would not be bonding with these fools. But...he sighed heavily. What was the use? He was kind of stuck with them now.
Ho-Oh mentioned the Viridian base in the message, and Mewtwo agreed. It would be wise to check all locations for any useful information. He still had the full intention of taking on the Shadow Lab, and he wasn't going to let any of them try to stop him. Inspect the Fortress further if you want, Brother. Some Infected must have gotten here before we came. Either way, I'm going with Mewtwo. I... suggest that Suicune and the others investigate Viridian while Mewtwo and I go to inspect this... Lab.
Mewtwo was surprised to hear Lugia wished to join him on the journey to the Shadow Lab. Though, now that he looked at the white legend closely, he could see something was seriously troubling him. Whatever it was, Mewtwo would not deny Lugia's request to join him, he could use the extra muscle if anything went...amiss. Very well... he began, a little unused to anyone helping him. If you desire to join me that is fine. Just try not to get in the way. With that said, he grabbed onto Lugia's wing and in a blink, they were gone.

Re: The LEGENDARY Team (PLOT)
Suicune was about to object when the two had just disappeared in a sudden burst of Psychic energy. He had felt strong pulses of rage emanate from his avian brother once the images popped up; a level of rage that was unnatural for most pokemon. Suicune sighed at the sudden rashness of the Kanto legend, oblivious to the concept of teamwork.
Why...why was he so overcome with rage?...he pondered darkly, his thoughts going back to Lugia.
Fine...we'll head to Kanto, as Lugia suggested...he said reluctantly. Suicune felt a deep foreboding fall over him as he wondered on the haunting images that he had just seen.
He nodded to the others and padded back the way they had came, his heart heavy with dread and pain.

Re: The LEGENDARY Team (PLOT)
Entei yawned as he waited for the others to finish. When he wasn't berating himself over his predicament, or cursing Arceus for allowing him to get infected -you know, all that cheery stuff- he stared at the clear afternoon sky, letting his mind completely blank out. It was good to finally be able to just... zone out.
His mindlessness was interrupted when his watery brother finally stepped out. He stood, feeling his fatigue catching up with him easily. His legs wobbled a bit, but he didn't let it hinder his appearance. Suicune! Are you finally done? What's happening now? Where did big feather butt go? It just occurred to him that the large white tail that had been sticking out of the building was no longer there... Had he zoned out that badly?

Re: The LEGENDARY Team (PLOT)
They disappeared - literally, they disappeared in a millisecond to who knows where - and it was only a few moments later that Suicune regrettably agreed with Lugia's chosen course of action for them. The other Beast trotted out of the fortress, heavy thoughts lucidly brewing throughout his Brother's mind. Hmph. It was one thing for Mewtwo to finally show some decent feelings, but for Suicune to suddenly drop his motivation? Raikou twitched his ears in slight worry, but followed after the Aurora Pokemon nonetheless.
Entei seemed to want answers as soon as the two of them had come from the fortress, asking questions here and there. It reminded the Thunder Pokemon of the days when bantering was the only thing he had to worry about; yet, here they were, in the face of a dark future and still possibly doing that. Close your mouth for a sec, fire butt! Lugia and Mewtwerp decided to go off into the unknown together, and we're off to Viridian in a bit. Raikou couldn't really put too much enthusiasm into his words (although a bit of a tease leaked into his voice) when he noticed Suicune with a taut face.
It worried the electric Legendary. Suicune had always been a natural leader, always found a way to be peaceful and bring everyone in as a team. A leader made sacrifices, yes, and they made decisions thinking of what's best for everyone. Leaders were made strong to be the backbone for all the rest. But, Suicune, on the other hand... Suicune still looked like the leader that he was, but a troubled emotion was etched on his face, and that was what was unnerving Raikou.
... We'll go in a bit, allow Ho-Oh to gather what he needs from this fortress, then we'll go.

Re: The LEGENDARY Team (PLOT)
The idea of an undead walking right under everyone’s noses didn’t even seem to affect anyone, they dismissed the fact that an infected creature could so easily sneak into this fortress while five legendary’s were around as if it was something so common. Either there was another entrance in this place for it to walk in and out of, it was still in this building in some unknown location, or the thing was so adept at sneaking around that it could easily go right by everyone, and the last one unnerved him the most. If what his brother said was true, then that undead must have had skills beyond normal pokemon expectations, and that was what he was fearing, that whatever it was that was plaguing everyone was growing stronger from the inside. Of course there might be another reason for the eaten houndour, but Ho-Oh either didn’t have enough time to think of it, or he was avoiding it.
In a flash, the purple legendary and his brother were gone, no longer anywhere near here in their travel to this ‘Shadow Lab.’ After such a prolonged absence from each other, it felt weird to just see him gone so fast, but that was mostly due to his own fault, so he had no right to complain, plus, there were more important things to attend to.
Ho-Oh just inwardly sighed, as much as kept believing that there was more to this tower, the computer was the main part, and that was already seen, the smaller stuff might help, but it was not as important right now. The transmission sounded like there might have been actual testing in the other base, it would be gruesome, but without knowing how they are made, they won’t know how to cure them.
“No need,” he said addressing Raikou, “the viridian base would most likely help more than this one.” How he wanted to continue investigation, if he were on his own he would, but he needed to make sure nothing more happened to his three children. Call it parental instincts or guilt for already failing Entei, but he did not want to leave them behind so like before….
((Terribly sorry about the delay and shortness, but trying to get some issues dealt with....))

Re: The LEGENDARY Team (PLOT)
Suicune couldn't help the small smile sneaking onto his face while his brothers teased each other with pet names as he sat back and observed. The legendary beast remained silent, allowing Raikou and his father to converse, enjoying the family being together, regardless of the terrible situation that brought them together. But as he stared out into the dark forest, he couldn't ignore the feeling of terror and despair that emanated from every creature within his mental perimiter. He turned to the abandoned fortress.
While this base may hold more information, the most immediate concern is the Viridian base and its' integrity. Judging by the state of this one, this...may be a very time-sensitive situation.
Suicunes' eyes were averted by the dark discoloration of his fiery brothers' pelt. He swallowed hard, the pain he felt quickly disappearing from his face.
I can't let that get in the way. Our first priority are...the regions. The countless Pokemon who are counting on us. Suicune stood up, padding closer to his family as he quietly spoke up, his face grim but determined.
We need to make our way to Viridian, and as quickly as possible. There will undoubtedly be many undead and...even living on our path to Kanto...but we shouldn't allow them to delay us. He stated stoically, his gaze leveled at each of them.
The only way to help them now is to find a cure. Suicune finished, his crimson eyes falling upon Entei, holding his gaze.
Come, let us run brothers! he shouted, roaring as he reared up and leaped into a full-sprint. The mighty winds' roared up around them, guiding them towards the unknown perils and terrible secrets that awaited them in Kanto.

Re: The LEGENDARY Team (PLOT)
Entei watched his water-brother as he addressed them, saying something about the Viridian base. He frowned a little; while he didn't think that going around looking at more destroyed human buildings would really help, he had to rely on his brother's higher intelligence... as much as he hated to admit it. Suicune seemed to really know how to approach this, and all he could do was follow his younger brother's lead.
While he didn't pay much attention to what Suicune was saying, the moment the latter fixated his gaze to Entei's, the fire beast listened intently. The only way to help them now is to find a cure. That sentence alone, whether Suicune knew it or not, was a small knife to Entei's already staggering heart. Everyone knew... it was no secret... He was always bad with keeping secrets... and how was he supposed to keep something like this without his smarter brother noticing?
Before Entei got to really spiral downward with his gloomy thoughts, however, Suicune's booming voice echoed over him. Come, let us run, Brothers! He reared up and the winds whipped around him, throwing Entei's deathly stench away from him. He took in a deep breath of the fresh Northern wind, and grinned.
Like I'm going to let you get a head start like that? he shouted playfully after his brother, roaring with a chorus of Volcanoes behind him. He sprang into a fast gallop after Suicune, flanking the blue Legend, following him to wherever the hell he was leading. It felt good to run with his brothers again, like old times... Times that weren't so nightmarish.
His heart did not falter, his legs did not give way. Whatever was plaguing his body did not dare do it now, as he sprinted across the land. Now was a sacred moment, even to the evils devouring him.
Now, he was free.

And suddenly, they were off - Suicune began with a mighty roar, Entei following up with his gallant strides and leaps. Finally! Oh, how the thunder Pokemon had fervently wished for action, and now they were finally taking as such. It gave him hope that they could indeed find a cure for this pandemic, find a way to end this sickness and save all of humanity and Pokemon alike. A lot more ride on this than you could even begin to imagine.
Raikou pounced onward, knowing smugly that as the quickest of their trio, he would have no trouble at all catching up to them. He took the other side of Suicune without need for much exchange between the three of them, and it just felt right, as if they had been together like this all their life. Hmm. With the wind whistling in his ears, Raikou knew he would put his entire heart and soul into finding the end of this epidemic, so that their trio may run as they are doing right now. A sideways glance at Entei before snapping his ears forward again, the Thunder Legendary knew it was only a matter of time until...
No. He would not think of pessimism right now, when being the light at the end of this tunnel was so vital to so many. Raikou barked in steeled determination, the noise seemingly like a clap of thunder. They were near unstoppable - with him as the wicked bolt that began the fiery fire that is Entei, and Suicune as the rain that calmed the flames, they were an indignant trio against the rising epidemic. Fuck the system! Who cared if his Brother was infected, and Suicune was melting under pressure? Who cared if he had lost faith in Arceus? What mattered was what was happening right now, and at the moment, they were doing something to fix the wrong.

Re: The LEGENDARY Team (PLOT)
It was times like these that he was proud of his three legendary beasts. Suicune; keeping calm and collected and showing his true leadership abilities in times of pressure. Entei; despite his personal circumstances, he remains upbeat and thinks about his family. And Raikou, Ho-Oh has seen him starting to be discouraged lately, but the lightning legendary still manages to push through it for the greater task at hand. All three of his children went bolting off to the kanto region, an Ho-Oh took a moment to let the image of the three of them together soak in for a bit before taking flight to catch up, in these times it was hard to tell if they may all make it, that was why he wanted to cherish these small moments as much as he could.
The dense forest became a blur of green beneath his wings as he speed up to try to catch up to the ones running on land. He was not as fast as he used to be, and he had been doing nothing but flying these last few days, but he did not relent. Arceaus may not make his presence known these days, hell, he be ignoring the situation at the moment, but it was hard for him to entirely reject the being when the chances that his family would still be alive was so slim, yet here they were all journeying together, mostly fine given the circumstances.
Viridian……he had not been there in what seemed like ages, nor had he kept up with the rumors for most of kanto, so it was seemingly unknown to him, for it could have changed drastically in the past months to look nothing like what he remembered. The threat of the undead he could handle, facing the unknown was what cautioned him.

It felt good to be flying again, to be free as the wind again. The humans had long since been crawling across the world and all of it's regions including his home Kanto. The only good thing about the whole Epidemic was that at least now hey were gone: he could fly and travel in peace wihout fear of a stupid human trying to randomly capture him. Of course, there were many new problems, too, but he couldn't be bothered with that. He was simply enjoying the flight.
Thick, dark clouds swirled around high in the sky around the tall mountains, the intimidating looking weather curling around each individual peak like greed children's hands. There was no rain, the storm was bone dry, but thunder could be heard and lighting licked the sky every once in a while. A loud caw seemed to echo through the mountain range, the source out of sight. Until- there! A particularly massive thundercloud split in two with a violent roar of thunder, allowing the being responsible for the storm to become visible. The avian was yellow, with some select black feathers mixed in, a thin and long beak, his overall features giving him the impression of his feathers standing on end, spikes in many directions. He gave another loud screech into the sky, tossing his head as lighting struck many places around him in a spectacular display of strength. Zapdos had never felt better, more alive! He had not been allowed to set his thunderstorms free for countless years thanks to the humans and he relished the chance to do nothing more than just that.
However, Zapdos had had his fair share of fun now that he was active and awake. With a few flaps of his powerful wings, the clouds that had swirled so feircly dispersed and vanished within minutes. Zapdos allowed his famous confident smirk to pull at his beak. Now that I have done that, it is time to do what I planned, the great bird spoke to himself. What he was referring to, of course, was finding his father, Lugia. Zapdos needed to find the great Johto legend, but he needed to burn some steam off first.
With a few lazy flaps of his wings, Zapdos banked to the left. He hoped that Lugia would still be alright but quickly banished that thought. Of course he is alright, Zapdos scolded himself with a roll of his bright eyes. He is Lugia, after all, not some needy child. Zapdos stopped speaking as he passed through the mountains and officially entered the Johto region.

The Johto Lands | Afternoon
(OOC- c-c-c-combo breaker B) )
As their Legendary group flew across the land without too much difficulty, Raikou had to wonder... what was their purpose to going over to Viridian? Would it even be worth their time and effort? The Beast of course had no trouble expending energy on searching through Viridian base or whatever it was, but what caused the Thunder Legend to think twice about their actions was the time it was going to take. He glanced nervously over to Entei, but shook his head nonchalantly.
We don't have time for second thoughts! He hissed at himself, and focused on his paws for a moment. But wasn't alright to second guess what actions they were committing, especially when each action weighed so heavily? Raikou continued to pounce throughout the terrain without too much difficulty, knowing the lands he had traveled for who knows how long by heart and soul. The Legend sighed. Why is it now that I'm actually beginning to think before I leap? Raikou could so easily imagine the days when Entei or Suicune would berate him for jumping into situations he wasn't yet prepared for.
I'm ruining a perfect family moment. With the sun setting before them and its shine reflecting in his eyes, Raikou saw himself and his Brothers - the Beasts of Johto - running side by side after the epidemic left in its terrible wake horrid scars of agony. He saw Ho-oh, his colorful feathers leaving behind a brilliant array of light. Any passerby could easily tell that this was something, that there was something sure to happen. They were powerful, and they were doing something with this power.
In the far distance, Raikou noticed lightning, dark clouds, and the rumble of thunder. He flicked his ears in interest, taking a glance towards the fellow Legends. I know such great voltage coming from another Legendary when I see one! Twitching his whiskers (or whatever they were called) in excitement, he burst forward and ahead of everyone else and toward the thunderclouds. Brothers! Look towards Mount Silver! The Thunder Pokemon clapped his jaws together as he sprung forward with a different kind of exuberance. Is that truly you, my fellow electric Legend, Zapdos?

The distance quickly rushed below him as Ho-Oh continued to fly above his three children. Things got quiet after a bit, but that was to be expected, and he got to thinking about his brother Lugia. He was not a young pokemon, he could take care of himself, possibly more than he could himself, but he could not help but get a bad feeling, like he should have gone with the two to make sure things went well. Thinking about such things did not help, so he tried to think of other matters, but he kept straying back to his brother.
The thing that kept him from doing something reckless and going to Orre was his children, but it was not the same for Lugia. He had yet to hear form any of his legendary birds, for all anyone knew they could be dead, or worse….It was only a thought, but if Ho-Oh were in Lugia’s shoes, he would most likely get more and more reckless trying to do anything to find them, and he thought that that was why he worried about him. He had already felt Lugia rush of emotions when he had first joined them all, the roar or rage, pain and frustration, if they were to know the wellbeing of just one of the legendary birds, just maybe it could help his brother. But at the moment that fantasy was most likely just that, a fantasy. So Ho-Oh kept flying, kept thinking of things that were probably left not thought about in these times.
After a while he started to feel the air being crisper and charged, he first suspected that Raikou was doing it to mess with his brothers that was why he didn’t really dwell on it. But when he pointed out Mt Silver and the receding thunderclouds, he was relieved to see who it was, the figure was still far away, but he only knew of one flying yellow electric bird.
Flying over to the avian, Ho-Oh almost went in flew in without caution, the familiar face of another legendary making him let his guard down. Remembering Entei, there was always the possibility that Vapdos had run into a bit of bad luck, so Ho-Oh circled around the legendary before he was satisfied to let his relief show. “Zapdos, you do not know how relieving it is to see you safe.” He had no clue if Zapdos would continue his own agenda, or what, but just seeing a child of Lugia safe and sound warmed him.

Oh yes, Zapdos was definately enjoying being so active again. His wings may have seemed to be moving lazily and slowly through to air but the electrical charges coming off of his black and gold feathers lept him more than charged with energy. He cawed happily, the corners of his lengthy beak pulling up in his glorious smirk. The summit of Mt. Silver soon faded behind him and the great avian discover qith disappoinent that the others of the mountain range were no where as glorious as the fabled mountain that split the two sister regions. Zapdos did not even bother with dropping altitiude as he made his way in the direction of Father; what would it due to be attacked by the undead? Just slow him down, that's what. And Zapdos was naturally pushy and impatient. Even then the thick gray clouds began to slowly form as he moved closer to the ones up in the sky.
His clear blue eyes flickered up above him. The forming storm was covering the sky and, while he would normally prefer that, he wanted to see the beautiful blue after being cooped up and away from it for so long. With another powerful flap of his wings, the thunderstorm disappated withing minutes and leaving behind the beauty of the afternoon sky. Zapdos rumbled deep in his chest happily as the sun's rays warmed his short wings. Fantastic weather even through this... Heh, Zapzos could not pass up commenting within his own head with a roll of his eyes. The least that the almighty Father Arceus could do was make the skies match the stat of the world- dark and gloomy. But it was not up to the great avian -much as he hated to admit it. It was ultimately His choice.
Zapdos' mind was wondering farther and deeper and thus he was not awear of the beings approaching at first. Something... sparkly captured his gaze, though. With a sharp caw, the Legend turned midair to regaurd what he saw. It was, well, a rainbow. A rainbow was travelling across the land and what was at the head of said rainbow? Zapdos suddenly grinned as wide as was physically possible. Well, well, is that the flying turkey I know and love? As the figure came closer and closer it was confirmed. By the time Ho-oh was close enough to really see Zapdos had already recognized him.
Zapdos stopped moving completely midair, taking to flapping his wings sluggishly to hover in place as Ho-oh came within feet of himself. It was a little odd as the larger avian stayed silent at first, taking to circle slowly over head for several seconds. The electrical bird glanced up more than once, opening one eye wider as to give the impression of raising an eyebrow. Ho-oh suddenly then spoke, Zapdos, you do not know how relieving it is to see you safe. The Kanto Legend almost purred in response, instantly relaxing as he flew up to be at the same level of the Johto Legend. His clear eyes were sparkling with confidence as he replied, a teasing smirk in his voice, What, me? You weren't actually worried about me, were you Ho-oh? His demenor became more serious as he added, Same here, Brother. I have not met with anyone since before this. Have you contacted anyone else? Zapdos' tone was light and causual but his eyes gave away his anxiety at the hidden question within. Have you seen my Father?

Re: The LEGENDARY Team (PLOT)
Suicunes' gaze turned to the skies as he heard the crackle of thunder in the distance. His father was flying to the source, which had just shown itself.
It's Zapdos, brothers! he roared triumphantly as he slowed his pace and trotted to the center of a large clearing. Suicunes' heart was lifted at seeing another legend, intact and uninfected.
He watched the elegant bird as he conversed with his father, who had been circling the electric creature warily.
The water beast turned his attention to Mt.Silver, where his own cavern and den were. He glanced at both of his brothers, who seemed to be holding out okay, when a sudden rumbling shook him from his thoughts. Suicune backed up as the ground shook under his feet.
Soil and rock flew as a creature exploded out of the ground screeching frantically.
What the?! Suicune dodged the Steelix as it collided with the ground and thrashed wildly.
It's covered in infected! He cried, as he watched in horror as the swarming creatures seemed to cover the entire length of its' body, trying to dig past its' hard exterior.
These monsters...he growled in rage.
The undead creatures were badly torn up from the Steelix' thrashing, but they had not let go. To Suicune, it seemed that its' frantic movements only incensed them even further.
"Help me! Please! Help me! Aaaaaaaahhhh!" the Steelix roared in agony, crashing its' mighty body into the ground and surrounding trees in vain.
It's already too late! Those wounds are too grave...!
Suicune turned to his brothers, nodding grimly.
Brothers...we must help. We have a duty towards those who ask.
Springing into action, Suicune shot a powerful Hydro Pump at the mass of undead, forcing them off with its' sheer power, knowing his brothers weren't far behind. He watched as the creatures' limbs and innards flew off from the impact, but still they got back up, crawling towards them frantically.
We must hurry! All this crashing will attract more! He growled at his brothers hastily.

Re: The LEGENDARY Team (PLOT)
Zapdos? Entei halted in his steps, nearly tripping over himself in surprise. He had only heard about the lightning bird, and looked to his own electric Brother with a smirk. He wondered if since Zapdos was all right, if the other birds were as well. But they did not get long before a huge steelix erupted out of the ground, covered in Infected, screaming for their help.
Suicune barked for them to assist, but Entei's paws quickly slowed in his run. What good would it do...? He saw the wounds the steelix sustained. Even if they managed to kill the infected, they would have to kill the steelix as well, as a mercy kill before the infection took hold. Still... He shot a flamethrower at the hard body, taking more than a dozen Dead with it.

Re: The LEGENDARY Team (PLOT)
What would have been a spectacular reunion with one of the few fellow electric Legends in the entire world was cut short as a struggling Steelix burst through Mount Silver, crying for help. Suicune, naturally not hesitant to help others, took charge immediately, howling that they step in to help those who ask for it. Couldn't have put it any better myself! Despite the serious atmosphere in this situation, Raikou twitched his whiskers in amusement as he sprung into action after his Brothers. Electricity coursing through his cloud-like mane, the Beast sped with confident paws to the opposite side of the writhing Pokemon, eying the undead that insisted on holding onto it.
Fffff- Raikou set each paw down critically, glaring a nasty stink eye at the horrid infected Pokemon - they were just small pieces to the large puzzle that was the Honchkrow. He emitted a growl as sparks began to shed from his fur. "BOOM!" With that, Raikou released reduced Thunder attacks to accurately hit the bodies of the wicked, flashing yellow streaks that exploded from his cloud. He thrust his chest forward in pride as he watched the scorched bodies of his victims fell from the Steelix's body. Yet... There was still so much. The Legendary paused in his attacks to take a glance at his surefire Brother Suicune, before resuming the Thunders. If he believes this is right, then I will too.

Re: The LEGENDARY Team (PLOT)
Zapdos was well enough to kid around, and that itself was a good sign, as much as he wanted to not smile, the sudden playfulness made him smirk. How he wished Luiga were here right now to see this familiar face, but he wasn’t, so Ho-Oh would have to make sure his son stayed safe until the two parties reunited.
He was curious about the other legendaries, but it was obvious he was asking about a few specific legendary pokemon in particular. “Sadly I have not heard of your siblings Zapdos….but I do know for a fact that Lugia is well and safe. He was with us earlier today before he set off for the Orre region with a legendary named Mewtwo.” Ho-Oh knew that the sudden journey to Orre for Lugia would raise questions, but hopefully those could be answered on the way to viridian. “We are on our way to investigate a human base in Viridian, hopefully you would join us, strength in numbers as they say.”
And to prove that point trouble reared its ugly head in the form of a sad beast covered head to tail in smaller undead. A steelix by the shape, but that was the only thing visible of the pokemon, the hundreds of undead that were eating away at it were covering the rest.
He was glad to see his children rush into action, but he wished Entei did not use his fire attacks, it ran the great risk of hurting the steel type. Fire would do too much damage to the steelix, so Ho-Oh used Extrasensory, a psychic attack which the pokemon was slightly resistant to. He fired a few blasts from above, the screeching of the unknown undead filled the air.

[Mountains around Mt. Silver//Afternoon]
It was quite pleasant for the Kanto Legend to hear a triumphant roar below. The bird turned his body midair to see that, No supprise there, Ho-oh had brought his three sons. The one that had roared yelled out, It's Zapdos, brothers! It was Suicune and Zapdos could not help but feel his own spirits rise. Surely if the beasts had survived the- Zapdos froze midair. No... He had spoken too soon. Zapdos watched with narrowed blue eyes as Raikou and Entei all haulted with the brother in a clearing down below. The thunder bird was not stupid, he had seen many different signs and stages of the infection just from his trip across Kanto to Mount Silver. Entei is infected?! Zapdos realized, fury and disbeleif making jolts of electricity spark from his wings. Stormclouds thundered from not far away, threatening to gather again. How could this have happened? Did Ho-oh not keep such an eye on his own son?! All of this time Zapdos did not want to admit it, but he had not even considered the idea that a fellow Legend could be in such a state. The only good part was that he would finally get to reunite with his fellow thunderous Legend Raikou.
However, before the Kanto Legend could question Ho-oh about Entei's sanity and the choice of letting him tag along, the fire bird was already awnsering the question Zapdos himself had asked a minute ago. He tore his now hardened gaze from the ground and finally looked at Ho-ob. Electricity still flew from him in bursts but he was careful not to let his anger get the best of him and hit his fellow bird. Sadly I have not heard of your siblings Zapdos….but I do know for a fact that Lugia is well and safe. He was with us earlier today before he set off for the Orre region with a legendary named Mewtwo. Guilt gripped Zapdos from the core like death. His brother and sister had not even crossed his mind. Moltres has always been able to care for himself and Articuno has always been smart enough to keep from trouble. Surely they are both well and searching for me, too. Confident that there was nothing to worry about with his siblings, his hopes went out to Lugia. There was a happy rumble from within his chest, almost like a purr, at the mention of his father being well. His anger melted away like mist in the sun and the electrical charge brought by his spiteful feelings vanished as well.
Ho-oh continued to explain. We are on our way to investigate a human base in Viridian, hopefully you would join us, strength in numbers as they say. Zapdos tilted his head slightly, still looking at Ho-oh. Human base, huh? Well, I can easily lead you to Viridian, if you do not know the wa-
But the Kanto Legend was interrupted by a great roar, far below them. His gaze snapped to Entei, but he was not the source, and Zapdos watched with widened eyes as something burst from the ground. It was monsterous in size and shaped like a snake, but those were the only features you get get from it as the thing was covered entirely by infected. Horror rose within him as he heard it cry to the beasts for help. Anger rose to overtake the disbeleif just as fast and he was diving down, pulling his wings together close to his body. Once close enough to the ground to strike but far enough not to be hit, Zapdos snapped his wings out, feeling his feathered wingtips lick the air as he circled above the pokemon. He could now tell that it was a Steelix, and a very hurt one at that. Suicune, Raikou, and Entei were already assaulting it but their numbers only seemed to grow. We must hurry! All this crashing will attract more! Suicune pointed out as they continued their assault.
Zapdos knew he was right, but it seemed that the things were unstoppable. Even with four Legendary Polemon attacking, there was hardly a dent. Zapdos himself stretched his wings out as far as they would go, releasing a loud cry. Watch out brother! he called to Ho-oh. A few seconds later powerful bursts of electricity shot from his body in many directions as he used Discharge. Dozens of undead were washed right from the Steelix's back, revealing gaping holes in it's usualy amazing armor. Zapdos crowed again, releasing another attack, now desperate to save this pokemon's life. The undead sizzled and burned to alcharred bodies as his electricity swam through their bodies but still he wondered if it would be enough.

Re: The LEGENDARY Team (PLOT)
As his brothers shot attacks at the writhing beast, Suicune continued to propel the lethal water cannons at the undead masses, soaking the ones who refused to be thrown off, so his brothers' electric attacks would triple in damage.
But as the monsters vacated the body, he could see the gaping holes in its' armor; the damage was too much. The air began to crackle around the legendary beast in dangerous levels. Suicune trod back, a bit startled at the amount of electricity in the air.
Watch out brother!
He heard Zapdos cry out before he discharged an enormous amount of electricity. The screeching of the brilliant light combined with the agonizing cries of the undead as they fell off of the Steelix like flies. The water Pokemon reared up as he felt the attacks' impact through his paws.
Urrgh!
In that instant, an intense darkness washed over him, paralyzing him on the spot.
N-no...it...can't...be...
Pain. Rage. Despair. Agony.
It overcame the water beast as it bombarded his senses. Suicunes' chest heaved as he was forced to fall beneath the mental weight.
No...brother...!
He could feel the overwhelming presence of Lugia in that moment, his heart overcome with shadows. He could feel how broken the legend was, brought on by something he could not know.
Not again...how could this happen again?!...the humans are gone...!
As the pang subsided, Suicune pulled himself back up shakily. He was once again aware of his surroundings, and realized how silent it had become.
Suicune watched the Steelix in horror as it reared its' head, only to collapse with a broken cry.
They had done it. The infected had retreated from the snake, leaving their victim to bleed out on the forest floor. He shook his head in confusion and padded closer to the dying creature, listening to its' rasping breaths. The snake was near unrecognizable from the wounds it endured.
Suicune could only bow his head as the doomed steel Pokemon gasped for breath.
"....K-.....Kill..."
"......M......e..." It gurgled through the dark liquid pouring from its' mutilated face. Suicune gazed into the creatures' remaining blood tainted eye, his face wraught with pain.
He could feel the pain this creature was in...and an overwhelming terror. Terror of remaining in that broken and shredded body.
I...he began, but thought better of it. He turned to his brothers and the birds above him with a grim look upon his face.
It is....too late for this one...
We must do it all at once...or he may go through further pain...
Without a word, he stepped back from the dying creature and unleashed the strongest Hydro Pump he could muster.
...What have we become?....
