(ACE) The RELIC Team

Glinyua ignored basically everything around her, zoning out. She was getting tired... Very tired... It has been a while since she ate properly and she hadn't slept well recently either. Suddenly, she heard a smack. Whirling around to face what it was, she was met with the sight of an undead Luxray.

Without a single thought, she flicked her claw and began charging at the undead with swift, graceful feet. She had a Poison Jab charged and was ready to attack the infected. She didn't want any undead near the group, not even if it was harmless. She swiped her claw-- hoping it would hit.

Sunshine saw that Glinyua was getting tired and thought that since it was too early in the day for the Ariados to be sleepy she figured the Insect type Pokemon was hungry. She got ready to hunt for some food for the group when she saw Glinyua charging at something right after she heard something hit something. Sunshine turned around and saw what the caused the sound and why Glinyua was charging. There was an undead Luxray there. Sunshine got in a defense position and stood between the Luxray and the young Ponyta knowing that she will do whatever she could to protect the young one even at the cost of her life. She glance at Soul to see what he will do and hoped that everything was alright with him because after his speech to the young Ponyta he had grown quiet. Her eyes began to glow in ready to attack the Luxray if it proved to be hostel to the group even though it is possible since Glinyua started to attack first.

Tamashi got to his paws and nodded to the Hypno. It's nice to meet you Hatter. If I may call you that. Tamashi said as he walked over to the one called Quarrant Tetch. He then went into deep thought about The Hatter's question.I'm sorry Hatter, but I did not see any Police stations nearby. Tamashi said with regret.

Then he saw Glinyua react to something. Then he saw it. A infected Luxray. But his disaster ability's did not go off. That must mean this pokemon was not out to get them. He looked to Sunshine. I want to you to protect the little one. Tamashi said as he ran in front of Glinyua's attack. Wait! Don't attack this infected! Tamashi said as the Poison Jab hit him.

Tamashi was the only one that answered...And he didn't seemed to know. Everyone's attention suddenly turned towards a weird undead Luxray. Shrugging off he started to walk on his own.

With luck he might just find what he wants...He hopes so.

"Wait! Don't attack this infected!" Glinyua's eyes widened as she felt her claw collide with the Absol's body, and then her face contorted in annoyance. "Are you out of your mind." she snarled, backing off. "Infected can turn on anyone and everyone at any moment, and as you can see, this-" she gestured to the Luxray, who was digging. "Is infected and mind you there's a deadly good chance that as the infection takes over it more it will attack us and try to kill us." the Ariados muttered darkly.

"But fine. If you wanna get killed, get killed." Glinyua realized she highly disliked this newcomer. They had just met but the Ariados just couldn't help but dislike him, barging into other's business without stating reason.

What the Absol has said was true. His parents would want him to be strong. Whenever he hurt himself while playing, Zephyra's mother would tell him that it'd be alright, that he needed to be her big boy.

He sniffed away the tears, and took in what was around him. To his surprise, there was one of those different looking pokemon around! And it was...digging a hole next to his parents?
"W-what are you doing?! Please don't hurt them any more..." Zephyra was a bit distraught. Was it going to do more damage to his parents? Glinyua's upset tone worried the little Ponyta even more.

Sunshine saw Soul look at her and say to her, I want to you to protect the little one. She couldn't really do anything but nod before she saw him go in front of Glinyua's attack and taking the blow saying, Wait! Don't attack this infected! Before she could react once more she saw the infected Luxray petted her on the head which confused the Espeon before she heard the Luxray say to her by telepathic waves ~" Amber.... I'm called Amber...... KILL ME IF I KILL LIVING! Dead.... bring more dead.... Not good for living... Eat Food!
"NOOOOOOO!"~ She then heard Glinyua say to Soul, "Are you out of your mind. Infected can turn on anyone and everyone at any moment, and as you can see, this is infected and mind you there's a deadly good chance that as the infection takes over it more it will attack us and try to kill us. Sunshine didn't like the way Glinyua spoke and said her voice slightly angry though she gave the young Ponyta a gentle nuzzle to give her own comfort and said, That isn't very nice to say Glinyua we are one of the few living left as living so you shouldn't want to have others killed out of anger. That infected is called Amber and she is fighting her more dark side to not kill any living and even asked me to kill her if she attacked or killed a living. She gave the Ariados a slight glare but calm herself down and giving another gentle nuzzle to the Ponyta she heard him say to the Luxray, "W-what are you doing?! Please don't hurt them any more..." She soften her voice and said soothingly to the little one Don't worry little one I'll make sure she doesn't hurt them anymore but I believe she is just working on making some graves for them. She gently touch him with her tail before she went over to Soul. Soul are you alright her voice was filled with worry and concern for the Absol she just met. For some reason she didn't want him to die on her so soon after she met him and was willing to find whatever she needed to to help him.

Tamashi huffed at the pain from the Poison Jab. He slowly got to his feet and stared at Glinyua. This pokemon...Means no harm. Tamashi said painfully. Then the Espeon, Sunshine, asked him if he was ok. I'm fine. But...If you have a Pecha Berry...May I have it? Tamashi asked painfully.

Quarrant as returned...he was now wearing a large top hat with a card on it, he was also holding some files. He saw the infected was still around...Didn't the Ariados tried to attack it? What happened? He sitted down and started to gaze uppon what happened analyzing.

The Jabberwock is still alive...so I take one of you little bunnies tried to stop the young lady from killing it. I bet she is upset... Quarrant looked at the sky and than looked at them with his opened wide with delight as a grin spread through his face.

This reminds me when I met Alice! She was so pretty...so young, and had such a nice yellow hair. I went to meet her but there was a man with her, that fiend would treat her badly and was such a Badersnatch...I showed him my clock, he was about to attack me but his attention started ticking. He stopped and with such graceous move he turned his head towards Alice looking at her from his back...and than he turned his head towards me. His eyes turned red and his mouth drooled, he colapsed. Poor thing, such a fool. I took his hat from him and than turned towards Alice and asked why was he here, she said that she tried to go back to him... Quarrant looked down and started shuddering, his eyes were still opened wide he twitched violently.I showed her a Wonderland that she never experienced...I gave all to her...and yet Alice wanted to go back to HIM! No...I couldn't let her go I COULDN'T! I-I...Grabbed her...And than...As if the Queen of Hearts was with me...she coughed, she squirmed, she yelled, she turned purple...and than she fell asleep...Alice said to me she was blessed, that she would never die...HA! SHE WOULD BE WITH ME IF THAT WAS TRUE! But no...She fell asleep and I was forced to leave her as the Card Soldiers started to ring their sirens! No one is blessed, We all fall down! No matter who we are! Name them! Jabberwocky, Badernstach, Arceus, Palkia, Dialga, Time, Dreams, Reality, Mountains and Oceans! EVERYTHING CAN BE DESTROYED! AND EVERYTHING CAN BE CONTROLLED! There's no such thing as free will, I can show you that...And when I complete my research I will prove it to the world and the Queen shall see! But I need Rabbits! I can't complete my research without Rabbits, and Hats, and Tea and--

As suddenly as his mental breakdown started it ended, blinking and looking at them calmly, Quarrant tilted his head as if he didn't just entered in a complete insane ranting. Does anyone want some tea? I think I can get some...

Getting up, Quarrant walked inside the building leaving the folder he had behind. The folder seemed to have a police print on it and his name also a tag line with "Mad Hatter" in it...It seems Quarrant Tetch had a Criminal Record...Is he safe to keep around? Is he insane? Is he dangerous? The answers to that and many other questions rest in that file...But it is advised that Quarrant won't find out you stole from him.

"That isn't very nice to say Glinyua we are one of the few living left as living so you shouldn't want to have others killed out of anger. That infected is called Amber and she is fighting her more dark side to not kill any living and even asked me to kill her if she attacked or killed a living." Glinyua snorted. "Yeah, and soon the infection will completely control the Luxray and she will no longer have a conscious and start attacking us." she scowled. She felt like she was back at the theaters as a Spinarak again, getting glared and frowned at because she was a fucking spider. Because nobody really liked Spiders, most of the people and Pokemon she met hated her. "Hopefully you're one of the first to go when a massacre happens." she muttered darkly under her breath. If someone treats you like you don't want to be treated, treat them the same.

"This pokemon...Means no harm." She dangerously clacks her mandibles. "And how would you know?" she tested. "I'm fine. But...If you have a Pecha Berry...May I have it?" Glinyua knew where the berries were in this village, but she didn't care for the Absol enough to tell him. "The Jabberwock is still alive...so I take one of you little bunnies tried to stop the young lady from killing it. I bet she is upset... " Quarrant had come back. Young Lady? Was he referring to Glin? She rose a brow as he began his story. "Couldn't have said it better myself." she murmured. It was true. Anything and everythin could be destroyed and controlled. "Does anyone want some tea? I think I can get some..." Glin rose a claw. "If you could get some for me..." she trailed off as he left, leaving a folder behind.

She gently picked the folder up, it had a police print with the words 'Mad Hatter' on it. Her claws pried it open to find a folder full of Quarrant's criminal records. Inside was a tape... Curiosity taking over her, she decided she wanted to know what was on the tape. Being a backstage set-up Pokemon as a Spinarak, she knew how to make records and tapes play. "Wait just a moment." she murmured to the others as she strolled to a house. Luckily, a tape player was inside. She placed the tape in and pressed play.

"Yeah, and soon the infection will completely control the Luxray and she will no longer have a conscious and start attacking us. Hopefully you're one of the first to go when a massacre happens." Sunshine heard the Ariados say and realizing that she really isn't going to like Glinyua and it isn't because she is a spider. Normally Sunshine is just fine with the Pokemon but Glinyua is acting really stuck up at least in her opinion because of her attitude. If her attitude wasn't the way it was she wouldn't mind being around her. Whatever Glinyua, she said quietly before she heard Soul say I'm fine. But...If you have a Pecha Berry...May I have it? She thought for a few moments until she remembered that before she met up with this group that she came upon a tree that had some ripe Pecha Berries in it. She look on her back and gently grabbed one of the berries by the stem and put it near Soul and said Luckily I found a tree that had some of them ripe. Here you go Soul and please try to be more careful in what you do. She smiled at him and waited for him to eat the berry while keeping a close eye on the undead Luxray and on Glinyua noticing that the Hypno Quarrant had left once more possibly to find some tea like he said he was doing. She also kept a watch on the young one in the group to be sure that he was doing alright.

The folder that Glinyua had taken was filled with files and pictures. The tape itself was as puzzling. It seemed to have several voices, some human. Most of the tape was just Quarrant and someone called "Professor Strange" talking, this Professor Strange seemed to be an Alakazam by what she could hear from the start of the tape and was trying to interrogate Quarrant and understand his psychic problems and his crimes. It was hard as Quarrant was always trailing off and most of the times was questioning where was Alice.

The one that was spoke the most was Quarrant's first crime...it seemed it was about a human girl named Penelope Walker that was lured into the forest as Quarrant offered her tea...By the tape Quarrant couldn't remember what had happened and was whimpering and crying when questioned while Professor Strange demanded to know why did he Killed her. On the folder was a picture of Penelope, she was a pretty young girl...but there was 2 pictures in which the head and body were separated, the body was tied to a tree like a puppet and the head was found stuck on a tree branch. Professor Strange questioned "How many Alices were there?" in which Quarrant didn't answered and kept crying...Did Quarrant Tetch really murder someone?!

At certain point it seems Professor Strange started to play Quarrant's Game. He had promissed Quarrant to bring "Alice"...at the end of the 4th track of the tape, it was revealed that he had shown to Quarrant a picture of an Ariados that walked on her back legs, the Alakazam seemed pleased by the fact that he was able to take the picture away from one of the guards that went to some show the last night. An Ariados on two legs? Could this mean danger to Glinyua? It didn't seemed the case as Quarrant didn't seem to remember her...The last date on the folder was May of last year. The tape ended by what seemed to be an attack of the infected towards the Police station, a weird sound, probably from the Alakazam using Teleport, was audible...It seems by using Hypnosis, Quarrant was able to guarantee himself a possible escape.

Seeing through the photos and files there was no connection towards the several victims except the common suspect and that they were all female. Lopunny, Gardevoir, Froslass, Human...there was all in those pictures, some in perfect state, others even dismembered, and it seems all was tracked down to Quarrant...

If the Hypno trully is guilty for all this mess, could he be trusted? How far his madness could be dragged? And how could they make sure that Quarrant wouldn't take them for "his Alice"?

Glinyua dropped all the files, backing up from the tape player. Exactly who was Quarrant? She turned around to see the Luxray, which she eyed cautiously. It was cleaning blood off it's face. Should she try to kill it? It was infected after all and this... 'Innocent act' it was putting up may be a trick to just kill them at the right time.

She charged a Poison Jab. "What... What do you want?" she demanded. Her eyes glanced back at where Sunshine and Zephyra was. A Kirlia had appeared. She scowled at Amber. "You better not try anything. If you do, I assure you I'll have you head..." she sneered, before walking to the Kirlia. "H-hello..." She smiled. "Hi, I'm Glinyua."

While everyone was busy with their own things, Quarrant was arranging a long table with snacks and cookies on it as well tea for everyone.

Quarrant seemed to be on his own wonderland as he made his own tea party...but than he remembered something...He needed guests! Oh but he shall have...The other survivors shall be his guests.

As the Espeon drew closer to the Ariados, she quietly moved away. 'What's the thing even thinking' she wondered to herself. "I-i'm Kyoki...." Glinyua gave a warm smile, well, at least what she could do with her two mandibles. "My name's Glinyua. It's nice to meet you, Kyoki."

"What is that smell?" Glin gave a quiet sniff and gave a happy sigh. "Smells like tea and some food... Maybe Quarrant has-" she paused at the mention of the Hypno. The Hypno had killed people, and was made to believe that she was some kind of 'Alice'. She shakily breathed before continuing her sentence. "Maybe Quarrant has found some food and set it up?"

"I-i'm Kyoki....What is that smell?" Sunshine heard the Kirlia say and sniff the air also smelling the tea. Sunshine noticed that Glinyua moved away when she got close. She couldn't help but sigh softly realizing that her first impressing didn't do her any justice with the Ariados but she couldn't help but speak her mind about how she acted earlier but she will figure out later on how to make it up to Glinyua and hopefully become friends with the spider. "Smells like tea and some food... Maybe Quarrant has-" she then heard Glinyua say before she paused in her sentence. This caused Sunshine to look at the Ariados with concern wondering why she stopped but before she could say anything about it Glinyua finished her sentence by saying, "Maybe Quarrant has found some food and set it up?" She look at Kyoki and gave the Kirlia a kind and gentle smile as she introduce herself My name is Sunshine it's nice to meet you Kyoki. She then look at Glinyua and voice her concern, Glinyua is something wrong. Her voice was quiet so that only the spider would hear her and no one else. She was sure Glinyua didn't want to say it out loud with others around so hopefully she will trust her enough to confide to her so she could try to help her out of whatever is troubling her.

Quarrant rubbed his hands as he stepped out and opened the door looking at them. A smile crept over his face as he looked towards the pokemon that standed in there.

Tea's ready. Come on, come on, come on. We don't want to be late...Do we? I hope you do not follow Alice's example. She's a very naughty girl., Quarrant steps inside as he started to mind his own derranged thoughts.

It seems he didn't recognized Glinuya as "Alice". Which thankfully for her it ment she was safe...for now. But he didn't truelly remember? Or was he just planning to trap her? Hard to tell what would be going through Quarrant's head.
