Dawnfang's ears twitched and she turned to see quite possibly any arachnophobic's worst nightmare. A whole nest of infected Spinarak and one huge Ariados. She stepped back before a really sudden string shot hit her paw. "Sh-Shit" she screamed. Dawnfang turned, picked Baloo up by his scruff and ran. She was strong and smart but forgot one small thing... Well two actually... Kibo and Vera.

Baloo didn't have time to blink. Dawnfang had drug him out of the Center away from the Infected jaws of Spinarak but forgot Kibo and Vera. "You stupid dog! My brother is still in there" he yelled. The entrance was sealed with layer upon layer of spider webs and Baloo couldn't find a different way in. He hoped Kibo could find a way out...

Kibo's ears twitched and he growled. He grabbed the blanket off the bed and pinned Vera under him. This was how he hid from spiders back home. Kibo wrapped the blanket around himself keeping Vera close to him. "We gotta be careful now. There's a whole bunch of Spinarak out there"he whispered before kissing her cheek.

Dawnfang rammed against the spider webs and roared in fury when they barely budged and clung to her beautiful pelt. She had to get those two out of there before something bad happened to them. "Baloo how do I get in" she cried before picking the Buizel up and shaking him. Dawnfang felt embers lick at her top lip and she smirked. "Find a different way in before I burn this bitch down" Dawnfang said angrily.

Baloo went wide eyed and grabbed Dawnfang's tail to pull her back. "Waaaait hold your Ponytas you can burn the web bt you burn the center down and kill Kibo and I'll kill you" he said. Baloo tugged on the webs observantly before slamming it with a Brick Break. The webs heaved, a few strands broke before a Spinarak latched on Baloo's face. He screamed and beat his face on the ground trying to get it off.

Kibo felt something sharp in his back. "I think they found us Vera" he whispered. Kibo took out his scalchops and poked his head out of the blanket. "Window! I'm gonna toss you out ok" he said before hitting the window with Razor Shell. Kibo pulled Vera onto his back and jumped out of the window. He hit the ground and hissed when dirt got in his cuts from the glass. "Are you alright Vera" he asked weakly.

Dawnfang sprinted to Kibo and Vera's side and growled. She tossed the Quilava on her back and picked Kibo up by the scruff on his neck "Women and children first" she barked as she ran by Baloo. Dawnfang ran straight into Rusturf Tunnel and down the corridor to a secret hideout. She flopped down on her belly and panted in exhaustion. One infected was one thing but a horde was another...

Baloo blinked and yelled at the Arcanine as she sped passed him. Then came the Spinarak army. Baloo smashed most of them with Brick Break before running after Dawnfang. His paws were numb and sore and a bit more rest would be awesome.


Kibo was again on hard sudden ground. He groaned and looked around at the fading world. A thick hazy sensation took his mind over and blood seeped out of his mouth. Kibo tried to push it away but the battle was over before it began. The cuts from the window and being dropped so roughly finally did him in. Kibo fell flat on his belly and passed out.

Dawnfang pounced in front of Vera and Kibo and took a defensive stance. "Ugly fuckers" she roared before cutting the horde in half with Hyper Beam. Dawnfang looked down at Kibo and growled. "He's just knocked out but the cuts on him might get get infected and kill him... You gotta wake him up somehow Vera" she said.

Baloo grabbed Kibo and shook him frantically before looking at Vera. He held up Kibo's paw to her. "Bite him and it'll wake him up" Baloo said firmly. He knew his fangs would be a tad too sharp and would hurt Kibo but the Quilava might have slightly blunt fangs to cause less injury.

Kibo's mind was hazy in subconscious... He dreamed of fire breathing Oshawotts and scalchop wielding Cyndaquils... Maybe he hit his head too hard but he felt cold... Really cold. His actual body was shivering and twitching from the cuts making him sick from natural infection and not what those things had... But Kibo was out of it so he couldn't know...

Dawnfang turned back to see Vera kissing Kibo. "Ewwww gross" she teased. The infected had retreated to their...Retreating place for now so Dawnfang was allowed to annoy them for now. "Kibo and Vera sittin' in a tree F-U-C-" she started before flopping down on her belly exhausted. Dawnfang grinned at Baloo before jabbing the sea weasel in the belly. "First comes love" she said.

Baloo grinned and jabbed Dawnfang's muzzle. "Then comes marriage" he added. The sea weasel had no spot in his heart for romance but wasn't gonna block Kibo if he liked Vera. While it would be hilarious, Baloo was rarely annoying.

Kibo blinked finally coming out of the hazy but painful knock out to Vera kissing him and blood running down from his head. He focused solely on the kiss though not caring he was injured.

Dawnfang smirked and poked Vera's belly. "Then comes the abrupt tragic miscarriage" she said before rolling over on her belly and laughing hysterically. Dawnfang sighed and shut her eyes. This Epidemic was so tiring it was painful...

Baloo laughed at Dawnfang's last add-in before patting Vera. "Wounds heal faster without potions when they're licked but as you can see Kibo can't lick his head so maybe you can"he said softly before jumping up on a rock to keep watch. Hopefully she would take his advice.

Kibo groaned and fell back on his tail. He felt dizzy and weak. He put his paw on the wound to stop the blood but it just slipped from his paw onto the ground. "I don't think I can lose much more blood before calling it quits guys" Kibo groaned.

Dawnfang tapped Vera's shoulder. "Lookie let me show you how to lick a wound to heal" she said. Dawnfang pushed Kibo down on his back and held him down tight. "Like so" she said. Dawnfang licked Kibo's whole face almost drowning him in drool but stopping the blood flow until they could get a bandage or suture.

Baloo gaped at Dawnfang. "Woman! You just licked all the color out of his fur" he yelled before pouncing on her enticing a fight. He growled and beat her weakly with his paws.

Kibo shivered and clung to Vera. "That was so invasive! I feel violated" he cried. Kibo liked it better when it was just Vera... She didn't lick his whole damn face off when it was just one cut.

Dawnfang sighed and looked around. "Ok mah ragtag group of retards should we go to Rustboro, back to Verdanturf or to that little hideout cave" she asked before pointing her paw in each direction. If they went to Verdanturf then it was a straight shot to Mauville and beyond... If they went to Rustboro it was North to Meteor Falls or south to Petalburg Woods. But the hideout was a dead end unless the climbed up and to Verdanturf or Rustboro. Dawnfang wasn't sure...

Baloo ran what Dawnfang said through his head. "I say Mauville... Lots of resources and plenty of places to hide" he said. Baloo was speaking for himself but Kibo would not be separating from him again. Anywhere else would be a risk. Rustboro was too out in the open being near a forest, plain and the sea. Mauville was nestled in the center of the region.

Kibo nodded at what Baloo said but stopped to think. What if Vera didn't want to come with them? Kibo looked at her and whimpered. He didn't want to leave her but Baloo woldn't let him leave he just knew it. Kibo hugged Vera tight and hoped she'd come with them.
