| History | Bonfire was kept by a strange man named Bill, for a while. The strange inventor liked to give Eevees out to young trainers for completing some random task or other, but the young Eevee didn't care. His favorite pass time was pranking the inventor and getting him as flustered as possible. Bill couldn't be rid of the young fox soon enough, so when a hot headed young trainer named Fenix showed up, and gave him her own attitude, he happily sent the little devil off with her. Fenix wasn't overly impressed with the Eevee at first, but since she was a fire trainer she named him Bonfire, with the full intent of making him a Flareon. Which, in her opinion, might make him more likeable. Bonfire was trainer rigourously, and after gaining a few levels was quickly evolved with the purchase of a Fire Stone. He adored his new form, but unfortunately he didn't gain much in the way of height. He had already suffered with Eevee's being naturally small, but for some reason he didn't get the full height of even an average Flareon. He was freaking short, and the rest of the team made fun of him for it. Especially the Absol and the Ninetales. Fenix worked with Bonfire to help him make up for his shortcomings, because Flareon's naturally had low defenses, and he learned to be quick enough to land several blows before ever getting hit. The quicker he was the less likely he was to be in a fight long enough to sustain serious damage, and that style suited him just fine. Even though he spent a lot of time training with Fenix, he still found time to plot out and create his pranks. One time, he had the Absol convinced that she was losing all of her fur because of a curse some Ghastly put on her, but really he was just singing her fur off at night. When she found out she was so pissed, but Bonfire just found it hilarious. Things went on like this for many years, and Fenix started to branch out in her typing, even going so far as to take in a Steel type. The little Riolu, Anubis it was named, hatched out of an egg that she had found. Bonfire liked the kid well enough, but loved to tease and prank him more. The large Charizard, Cathal, took the kid in and Bonfire wasn't able to play as many pranks as before but it didn't completely stop him. As they were travelling in Johto, the Epidemic hit, and they were swarmed. They all fought their hardest to keep their trainer safe, but Cathal managed to get her to flee with Anubis while they covered her escape. The infected swarmed on them, and they had to seperate. Kyuubi, the Ninetales, was caught up with him. As the infected began to pile over each other the poor lavender Ninetales was savagely bit in the throat. Bonfire knew there was nothing he could do to save her with a wound like that, so he did the only thing he could. He used her as a distraction and tore off in the other direction. Like a coward he ran for his own life and didn't once bother to look back. Ever since then, he has been travelling alone, taking rides from other survivors before ditching them to fend for themselves. While sometimes he does miss his former life, and really misses having anyone to prank, he enjoys his freedom. It was something the Flareon had never had in his life before, a choice for himself. He always belonged to someone for as long as he could remember but now he was wild. Anything he desired, anything he wanted to do, it was his. While he missed Fenix, a world without humans didn't seem like such a bad thing now. |
| Appearance | Bonfire is very short for a Flareon, but he makes up for it in raw fire power. His fur is brilliantly orange and he keeps his fur fluffed out as much as possible to try and give himself more size. The fur top his head points with a widows peak, and continues almost straight up into a spiky quaf. |
| Personality | Bonfire is raging asshole, pretty much all of the time. A devilish prankster, he finds great joy in making other people miserable for his own entertainment. He thinks of himself first and foremost, and won't usually apologize unless forced to. He is very sensitive about his height, and anyone who makes fun of him for it he wil challenge to a fight. He doesn't think things through much, and generally acts on impulse. The only thing he ever plans out are his pranks. |
| User Notes | -He was originally stated in his teammates profiles (Cathal and Anubis) that they saw him perish, when actually he managed to use Kyuubi as a shield and ditched his team. -Does have a nicer side, but it is rarely seen -Plays pranks almost religiously, and gets angry when one doesn't go as planned or the victim figures it out -He isn't worried about looking for any of his former teammates, and enjoys his new freedom of travelling alone. -Sometimes, though it isn't often, he does miss the company of his trainer. He actually liked her and is a little sad that she is gone. |
