The Houndoom kept his eye on the Jolteon not letting his sight off it. Rosko didn't trust this undead nor did he want to be near it, but it wasn't attacking like the rest of them. The Dark type didn't understand what was happening, nor did he want to think about it. "I agree. Tell us why you are here and what you intend to do." The Mesprit said and Rosko agreed. "Me, I am Rebel. That fluffy thing over there, Miyu. I came to this place, Johto right? To find her, Miyu. And I intend on leaving with her." The undead electric type was going to take her away. Rosko felt an odd feeling that this could get ugly if things was to go bad. "Do you know this jolteon?" So the Eevee knew this Jolteon and what Rosko was to here made him think of the Captain. I was always there for the Captain when he needed me and he be sailing true in the great sea in the sky now. The Eevee then explained a bit about her and the Jolteon. "He... he was always there. Nobody wanted me, but he took me... He was always like a big brother."
Rosko could relate to that story since he was the runt of the litter back in Goldenrod City before he met the captain. The Houndoom felt a bit of sorrow in his heart for the eevee. "Lass, I know how ya felt and me heart aches thinking about them old days when I was a wee pup." Just before Rosko was to tell his tale of woe the Ninetails shouted in a panic. "NO!" The Houndoom looked at the Ninetails going into a frenzy of a panic attack. "You cant have her!" Continuing in a panicked voice the Ninetails said something again. "You can't take her!" The Dark type couldn't think of anyway to calm the ninetails down. Rosko never thought one being blind could have a major panic attack. He couldn't say anything to her at the moment. "Hold up now, he's still a Pokemon. A sentient being and he hasn't done anything wrong." The Electrike was right and Rosko let out a little sigh of relief avoiding a battle. "He be right mateys this one is still able to think." The Houndoom said.
"B-but... he remembers. He isn't a monster... not like them..." The eevee was sure, but the quilava had her worries. "This can't end well and I.. I don't want to see you get hurt or worse.." There was some untrust with the undead and Rosko had kept out of it as he didn't know Miyu well enough yet. The Eevee spoke out to the undead Jolteon in sorrow. "I'm sorry Rebel... I can't come. I... I'm staying with them." Rosko felt her sadness and likely this led him to think about the past, but he shook off the feelings for the time until he decides to tell them his story. "Well then. "In a show of hands... or paws... How many are against me hangin'? I promise I'll play nice." The Houndoom smiled and drew in a deep breath. "Harhar lad ye want to join these lucky lads and lasses then I don't have anything against it." The Dark type said cheerfully thinking an undead might have some advantages to helping them out.
As Rosko looked at the Eevee, he still noticed her tears was still coming from the sorrow she had felt from her past. "Miyu, lass, I know how ye feel. I lost someone important to me in the past and I'll be glad to tell ye when its time to rest for the night." The Houndoom said. He was planning on telling them during the night when they're safe from any undead that might intrude on them. The Dark type smiled at the Eevee and sat down hoping to help cheer her up.

Inside the Battle Castle || Afternoon || Post 7
The emotion sprite held firm, her Protect shimmering as it stood between them and this 'Rebel'. Her golden eyes were narrowed, and her Swift attack stayed firmly in an open palm, stars dancing around the glowing orb. "HOLD." The legend blinked, glancing behind her to watch the Vulpix. They certainly had guts to stand up to a legend.Inside the Battle Castle || Afternoon || Post 7
Mesprit scoffed internally. If you can even call yourself one anymore. She thought bitterly, floating back up into the air and dropping her Swift, the orb fading in a whoosh of air and a flicker like a dying lamp. "Are... you okay?" Mesprit's eyes narrowed, glancing between the two. "Oh, I'm just great." Well, it certainly seemed sane enough to have a sense of humor.
"Me, I am Rebel. That fluffy thing over there, Miyu. I came to this place, Johto right? To find her, Miyu. And I intend on leaving with her." At that, the Protect that Mesprit had up shimmered blue, before sinking into the ground. Crossing her arms, the Legend flew over to float just above Miyu. "Try it." She warned, frowning at the jolteon. "He... he was always there. Nobody wanted me, but he took me... He was always like a big brother."
Mesprit sighed, unfolding her arms to massage her temples. This was giving her a headache.
"Now that we've accomplished this, let's get outta here, Miyu."
"NO!"
The scrabbling of claws on tile broke the legend's concentration, and she looked over towards the blind Ninetails - Mel. "You cant have her!" The amount of fear radiating off the distraught fox flared up another headache in Mesprit's mind.
"I..."
"You can't take her!"
"Calm down, Mel."
"Yes, please stay calm. It's giving me a headache." She mumbled, shaking her head to chase the throbbing pain away. It didn't do much to help, but there was a little relief at least.
"M-Miyu."This, its not who you think it is. It can't be anymore." Mesprit's golden gaze flickered over to Cinder, then back to Miyu, then over to Etincelle. "Hold up now, he's still a Pokemon. A sentient being and he hasn't done anything wrong." Taking a deep breath, Mesprit sorted through her thoughts. Rebel was undead, yes, but he also obviously had a semi-sane mind. "B-but... he remembers. He isn't a monster... not like them..." Miyu it seemed was torn in a crossroads.
"This can't end well and I.. I don't want to see you get hurt or worse.." Cinder had plenty of good points, ones that Mesprit herself had been thinking to raise. Dealing with undead was always risky business - one that Mesprit would rather avoid.
"We wont let that happen. Nothing bad will happen." Nodding in agreement, Mesprit looked to Miyu for her decision. "I'm sorry Rebel... I can't come. I... I'm staying with them." She let out a sigh that she hadn't known that she had been holding. "Well then. "In a show of hands... or paws... How many are against me hangin'? I promise I'll play nice." Mesprit hesitated, looking around the group for their verdict. "I'm fine with it." Ectinelle agreed, so it seemed. "I wouldn't want to separate you two."
The same thought ran through the legend's mind. "Mel?" She looked over at the Ninetails for their input. "J-j-ust k-keep it away from me-e." Mesprit frowned slightly. Was that a yes or no?"I.. think that's a yes." Mesprit nodded, before glancing over to Rosko. "Harhar lad ye want to join these lucky lads and lasses then I don't have anything against it." Well, that was most of their group. She looked over to Mist, Ven, Kaze, Hayato, Cinder and Faux. "If you say you're okay with it, then I am."

"B-but... he remembers. He isn't a monster... not like them..." They were losing her. Oh legends no they were losing her. The Quilavas thoughts were racing, blood pumping. What was she supposed to say, supposed to do? "We wont let that happen. Nothing bad will happen." Looking at the Electrike in shock Cinder gapes. Was he defending an undead? "But it.. he cant.. I mean you know that.. eventually.." She chokes on her own words, unable to even form a proper sentence. How could she just crush Miyu like that, or argue about anothers life when the Jolteon was obviously still with it? "Miyu.." The poor thing was crying and shaking.. Unable to hold the Eevee's tear-filled gaze she breaks away and stares at the Jolteon. The blank, annoyed look.. Its only a matter of time.. How much time..? How long before it attacked the Pokemon who thought of him like a brother? Something sharp stabs even deeper into her heart.
"I'm sorry Rebel... I can't come. I... I'm staying with them." The Vulpix stands firm, watching the Jolteon closely for any hint of foul play. Nearby she can see pained relief pour off of the Quilava. Did she think that was the end of it? What was he going to do next, attack, bargain, leave and stalk them? "Well then." Or sit down. "In a show of hands... or paws... How many are against me hangin'? I promise I'll play nice." Persuasion? Not much of an argument but at least it was being remotely well-mannered. Still hasn't attacked.
The answer in Cinder's head roars as loud as a waterfall. No no no a million times no get away from us! But the Fire Type just stands there stiffly, staring blankly as she is pulled into her thoughts. A vote? A vote to have an undead hand out with us?? How fast were the no's going to- "Im fine with it." Cinder turns a horror-sticken gaze to the Electrike. "Etin..!" Was he serious?! "I wouldn't want to separate you two." He was serious.. Is this actually happening right now? No, no they had to separate them. Get far away and find somewhere safe- "Mel?" "J-j-ust k-keep it away from me-e." Even Mel who looked like she was about to keel over and die was going to get that thing stay with them?! "I.. think that's a yes."
"Sounds more like a no to me." She growls firmly. Everything about Mel, the quivering, sniveling, distressed look, it was quite clear this wasn't making her comfortable. "Unless you would like to correct us, Mel." Was the undead nearby spooking her so bad or was it something else? "Harhar lad ye want to join these lucky lads and lasses then I don't have anything against it." At least two of them were passing out the okays, Mel's response being on the fence. "If you say you're okay with it, then I am." Even the Legend was going to let a demon in too close for comfort.
The Vulpix circled around, turning her solid flank to the undead as she moved across the fellow Pokemon. Her angular eyes narrowed ever so slightly then gave a slow blink. "....We must be civil." She finally responds. "This isn't a normal undead we are dealing with. He is trying to be peaceful with us and, at least for the moment, doesnt seem to have any dark decives." "Faux, you cant be serious. You-" Cinder gapes in shock, fear glistening clearly in her gold eyes. "Like Etincelle said, we cant separate them- it will case more problems then it will solve." Faux swiftly retorts. "But," Cinder's argument dies away when she realizes she can not sway the fox and the Vulpix sits calmly. She blinks first at the legend, then the Jolteon. "I am not pleased with the idea, but I will vote yes."
Even.. even Faux was going to go with this. Etin was calm and Faux was collected and they both said yes.. Mel she, didnt care either way as long as she was safe? It was unclear. Taking in a deep, shaky breath the starters looks to the Eevee with a trembling voice. "Miyu...?" She.. she didn't have any siblings, or at least know any, and never really knew the meaning of family past her trainer. And he screwed that one up. The closest she had ever come to caring about someone would be. Miyu. A cold feeling trickles down her spine. If this was what it meant to care for someone then the way that the eeveelutions felt, or had felt, for each other could not be ignored. I cant make him leave. I can't do that to her. Golden eyes sparkling with their own tears the Quilava turns her gaze away from the others. Her voice is filled with defeat.
".....Okay.."

Inside the Battle Castle | Noon l (68)(3)
While he was most certainly no Prince Charming, the petite Eevee had faith Rebel could hold his manners long enough to make a decent impression. At least, she prayed to Legends above he could, turning to her group... Her friends, with an alien feeling of fear she'd never had thought she would face with them. What would they say? If they turned away her big brother, she wasn't quite sure what to do. She couldn't abandon anyone, she was torn between two sides.
The Jolteon sat in front of the jury, awaiting the conviction. He wasn't afraid, he hadn't felt such an emotion since he woke up, but he knew rage and that would take over if they tried to take his sister away from him. They would never get away with that.
"Harhar lad ye want to join these lucky lads and lasses then I don't have anything against it." Rosko was okay... with him?
"Im fine with it." And Etin too! "I wouldn't want to separate you two." Miyu's eyes welled with gratitude and you guessed it, more unshed tears that quickly rolled down her face. "Thank you, Etin, Rosko!"
"J-j-ust k-keep it away from me-e." Man though, Reb thought, the Ninetales was cold.
"I.. think that's a yes." If the Shiny said so... Faux pointed out, however, "Sounds more like a no to me." Rebel chuckled, less offended than he probably should've been, "That's what I thought!"
"If you say you're okay with it, then I am." Said the pixie that tried to star him to death... or second-death. Or something. He'd have to watch himself around this one, she was freakin' brutal.
Speaking of brutal... Faux was being scary again. Miyu half expected her to give the order to kill Reb in a moment's notice as she drew around and turned away from the Jolteon in question. But the Vulpix shocked her yet again. "....We must be civil."
Oookay, now they wanted to be civil? How about when Pokémon were in line to kill me?! He kept his mouth shut though. He was still trying to do the whole I'm-A-Good-Guy thing, and being a smartie wouldn't do much good for that cause.
"This isn't a normal undead we are dealing with. He is trying to be peaceful with us and, at least for the moment, doesnt seem to have any dark decives." What did that mean? Miyu's ear tilted a little to the side. Why would Rebel have any dark... whatever she said?... And then she remembered. ... He's an undead... But he's still my brother.
"Faux, you cant be serious. You-" Why did Cinder look so... so frightened? Reb was nice, he was a good guy aside from being a smartie sometimes, he didn't do anything to any of them...
"Like Etincelle said, we cant separate them- it will case more problems then it will solve." No doubt it would cause some... problems. After he spent so much time finding her, no Pokémon --alive, dead or otherwise-- would separate them without a fight. "I am not pleased with the idea, but I will vote yes."
"Miyu...?" The Quilava's tone utterly broke the kit. She... didn't quite understand. Her sight blurred and she murmured quietly, "Cinder... please... She didn't know what she was addressing with the plea, but she wanted to make everything better and that sounded like the right thing to say. ".....Okay.."
"Miyu, lass, I know how ye feel. I lost someone important to me in the past and I'll be glad to tell ye when its time to rest for the night." Rosko soothed, sitting beside the kit. She spoke without lifting her eyes, quiet drops falling to the tile floor, "Thank you."

"Thank you, Etin, Rosko!" Etincelle beams at the child, relieved to see happiness on her face once more. He had been hopeful but the others, not so much. "Sounds more like a no to me." Were they really going to speak for Mel when she was right there? "That's what I thought!" The undead was even talking against himself! "She just doesn't want him too close to her." He tries to convince the Vulpix. As long as they didn't squabble it didn't necessarily mean she wanted him completely gone. Right? "Unless you would like to correct us, Mel." Etin turned his desperate pink gaze toward the Ninetales and watched and she quaked in her fur in the corner of the room. Poor thing.. Maybe it had been a no. Last thing he wanted was to cause her more stress by having a slick undead in such close proximity. "Then maybe we shouldn't-" He begins but Mel starts to whine again before saying, "It.. he can.. no no no I dont want it no!" The electric canine recoils at her words.
Were they serious? Was everyone here really just going to let this undead stalker tag along with them like it was no big deal? We're gonna die, gonna die! He's going to kill us all! Her mouth is dry and sticky, unable to form anymore words as she takes in rapid breath after breath. "Harhar lad ye want to join these lucky lads and lasses then I don't have anything against it." The pirate was okay with it. Of course he was, of course he was. How could they all be so stupid! Whining incoherently the Ninetale's claws skitter against the floor as she tries to push herself further into the corner. "If you say you're okay with it, then I am." Even Mesprit, a legend, was going to let one of those monsters hang around with them like he was an innocent goof!? "'No!" She barks but its drowned out by the screaming inside her head.
Shifting from paw to paw anxiously the Electrike is no longer sure what side he is on. He didn't mind the undead with them but Mel.. She's getting distressed just standing next to him. Was it the room, or situation, the context maybe? He cant think of another reason for her to be so panicked. "....We must be civil." He looks to Faux suddenly, completely shocked that she was agreeing to this. "This isn't a normal undead we are dealing with. He is trying to be peaceful with us and, at least for the moment, doesnt seem to have any dark devices." Nodding in agreement Etincelle can see she thought about it the same way he had. About all the bad scenarios that could come from it at least. "Faux, you cant be serious. You-" His gaze dropped. There was no way they were going to convince her at this rate. "If nothing else, we can keep an eye on him." It didn't seem like Rebel was going to do anything, but you could never be too sure. "Like Etincelle said, we cant separate them- it will cause more problems then it will solve. But, I am not pleased with the idea, but I will vote yes."
"Miyu...?" Why did she sound so.. desperate? Like this was going to be the end of what was left of the world. "Cinder... please... Miyu was even more so. Was this really that hard? Letting his eyes fall to the floor the Electrike shuffles a bit closer to his twitchy companion. I guess it is a stressful situation. But the three of them were falling apart over it, and that was concerning. ".....Okay.." Blinking himself out of his thoughts the Electric Types jaw gapes. She, she gave them an okay? "You wont regret it." He promises, trying to hold back the joy in his voice while the smile persists. Hopefully, he prayed, he could keep that promise.

As the conversation goes back and forth Kaze flares his wing-like ears and listens in.
Ooooh this was exciting~! A monster that talked, well he'd met talking ones before, but one that the party didn't seem hostile to.Maybe this was the sidequest. Yes, that made sense. First they had found Mesprit then this undead wanted to join their party. That explains why, even after the other NPC's attacked it, the Jolteon was still there and why they were now letting it join them. It must have been a glitch in their programming, registering the Jolteon as a threat but registering it as another NPC after it initiated a contact request.
Kaze smiles. It was good thing his Focus Blast missed then; if he had blasted the spiky thing into giblets then he would have missed out on an interesting time.
"Welcome to the group then~" He smiles and claps his hands as if he hadn't just tried to blast a hole through the bloodied thing's head.
His tone is dripping saccharine sweet, approaching parody in his violent optimism.
"My name is Kaze and this grumpy bird here is Hayato." He pulls the Honchkrow close to him in a tight hug. "We're adventurers here on a noble quest...well it'll probably be noble but we haven't found one yet." He giggles.
Kaze turns Hayato around from the annoyingly tight hug. Despite the permanent and rather shifty grin that was always plastered across the Gardevoir's face he picks up on the bird's more than physical discomfort.
Without needing to be asked he leads Hayato aside where they can talk without being overheard.
"I don't trust it." He caws.
Kaze giggles and strokes the tuft of black feathers on the Honchkrow's head.
"I know you don't. You worry about everything!"
Hayato puffs out his feathers indignantly.
"Not that I don't appreciate it." Kaze flaps his hands. "Without you I'd be in a real state."
The Fairy type tickles him under the chin until his feathers deflate and he relaxes.
"I promise you that if he tries to hurt me in any way you can dice it to pieces, regardless of who protests, O.k?"
His green three-fingered hands stroke over the off-white feathers of Hayato's chest.
"I trust you with my life my brave bird, but I can handle myself for now. Go, find yourself something nice to eat. I won't let my guard down if you're still worried."
Hayato caws and rubs his beak against the side of the Gardevoir's face, affectionately grooming the feathery protrusions of his wings.
"Hayato's going hunting. He can bring some fresh meat back here. He's very good at making sure it isn't tainted, aren't you Hayato? Kaze raises his voice so the rest of the group can hear.
Hayato spreads his black wings like an omen.
"That hunts for itself." He croaks in a voice like death. I will not have it taint my kills."

The Houndoom stayed by Miyu even though the Jolteon was standing right there right in front of her. He couldn't think of anything to say to her and he layed down to the eevee's level of height. The poor lass, she's been through a lot and I wish there be a way to cheer her up. The Dark type thought. Suddenly a loud whine came from the Ninetails and still a sound of fear going through it. "'No!" Rosko nearly jumped from the sudden shout. It was like she feared the Jolteon. Of course she would he's undead, but Rosko seemed to think there was something about this undead that could give them an advantage if they came across an area that the undead have control of. "Thank you." Miyu responded to Rosko in a happy, yet sorrowful voice. He stared at the ninetails and then asked her. "Ye okay, Lass? I just be asking if ye need some fresh air." Rosko said.
He continued to stay right by Miyu wondering if she'll be okay. "Miyu, are ye okay?" The Houndoom was showing concern for her, yet he hardly knew her still. The Houndoom couldn't help being kind to the eevee since she reminded him of the past being a pup and always the runt of the litter of houndour pups. At least he looked at the bright side though, the captain chose him since he had some sort of influence on him. As his attention turned towards the Arbok and Golbat he wondered what they'll say or even react to the Jolteon and if he has to step in to keep a fight from breaking out. But for now, he has to keep an eye out for Miyu's sake.
"Welcome to the group then~" The Gardevior said to the Jolteon. Rosko sensed a bit of optimism in his voice and it sounded a bit dangerous. So says the one that tried to kill the bilge rattata I better keep me eye on this lad. As the Gardevior continued on with his talking he then mentioned something rather strange. "We're adventurers here on a noble quest...well it'll probably be noble but we haven't found one yet." The Houndoom thought that Kaze might be confused with what reality he seemed not see as of yet. Noting it in his mind the houndoom felt slightly uncomfortable with the gardevior. The honchkrow was a bit more distrusting of the Jolteon. "I don't trust it." Rosko stared at the bird ruffling its feathers out at the undead. "I know you don't. You worry about everything!" The two seem to not acknowledge the others existence, yet he does show some concern about the them. The Houndoom shook his head as if he didn't want to know what they're talking about.
As they continued there conversation, the houndoom yawned a little showing some boredom waiting for food. Until Kaze mentioned something about food. "Hayato's going hunting. He can bring some fresh meat back here. He's very good at making sure it isn't tainted, aren't you Hayato? The Houndoom wagged his tail a little thinking this could be a chance to have something to eat after waiting from the morning with nothing to eat. Bout damn time they say something about food I don't know how long me stomach's been growling. However the Honchkrow seemed to protest about bringing food to the Jolteon. "That hunts for itself." The Honchkrow said. I will not have it taint my kills." The Houndoom shook his head again. "Finally, me stomach can stop growling once food gets back." The Dark Type looks at the undead Jolteon and had to agree with the Honchkrow. "Sorry Lad, I'm afraid the honchkrow's right it could be bad if you ate the same thing as we did." Rosko said.
He continued to stay right by Miyu wondering if she'll be okay. "Miyu, are ye okay?" The Houndoom was showing concern for her, yet he hardly knew her still. Rosko stared at the bird ruffling its feathers out at the undead.

Mesprit frowned, her golden eyes looking back over to Mel. If the Ninetails wasn't comfortable with the undead staying, then there would be trouble. Should I really be agreeing? She thought, looking between the fire and electric type. If one of them disagrees, why would we stress them out by making them stay near the undead? The legend took in a deep breath. She would wait and see. If they didn't reach a consensus, she would side with the Ninetails.Inside the Battle Castle || Afternoon || Post 8
"Sounds more like a no to me." Mesprit looked over at Faux, her golden eyes narrowing. The Vulpix had been against them staying as well. "That's what I thought!" The emotion pixie looked back at the undead in bewilderment. It wasn't helping it's case like that. "She just doesn't want him too close to her." In Mesprit's mind, she thought the Ninetails didn't want the Jolteon at all.
"Unless you would like to correct us, Mel." Mesprit's brow creased. Mel could speak for herself, they didn't need to be putting words in her mouth when the Ninetails did not even want to say them.
"Then maybe we shouldn't-"
"It.. he can.. no no no I don't want it no!"
That answered that question then.
"'No!"
Mesprit sighed, looking back towards Mel. Mel, just between you and me, if you really do not want this undead here, I will side with you. While her skills were a little rusty, the legend still had enough power to telepathically talk with the Ninetails privately. I'm here to help, not to push more stress onto you guys. That's not what legends are supposed to do.
"....We must be civil." Her golden gaze was dragged back over to the Vulpix. Weren't they opposed to Rebel being here just a few moments ago? "This isn't a normal undead we are dealing with. He is trying to be peaceful with us and, at least for the moment, doesn't seem to have any dark devices." Mesprit nodded. While the emotion pixie could not see any bad intentions, there was also the thought of what if they betrayed them?
"Faux, you cant be serious. You-"
"If nothing else, we can keep an eye on him."
The reasoning was well enough, keep an eye on the undead, make sure they don't get in where they shouldn't, and to make sure they can't go around and infect others. And if they lose it... Mesprit's thoughts where shut off quickly. They'd cross that bridge when they came to it.
"Like Etincelle said, we cant separate them- it will cause more problems then it will solve. But, I am not pleased with the idea, but I will vote yes." The legend glanced back at Mel. What did they think of Faux's opinion? She still felt the emotion of fear, but at this point, she didn't know who it was coming from. "Miyu...?" The Quilava sounded so desperate to try and change the Eevee's mind. "Cinder... please... Miyu seemed equally desperate, if not more. ".....Okay.." The legend let out a relieved breath. They did not need an argument, much less anything else like that. "You wont regret it."
"Welcome to the group then~" The sprite gave Kaze an odd look. Didn't they just try to kill the Jolteon earlier? Sure her attack was strong, but it was meant as a warning shot, not a Focus Blast meant to kill. "My name is Kaze and this grumpy bird here is Hayato." With a subtle roll of her eyes, the sprite glanced back at the Gardevoir and Honchkrow. "We're adventurers here on a noble quest...well it'll probably be noble but we haven't found one yet." Hadn't they asked her about a quest earlier..?
"I don't trust it."
"I know you don't. You worry about everything!"
The relationship the two had was interesting. While the legend would not say it was an odd relationship, it was interesting to watch, really. "Not that I don't appreciate it."
"Without you I'd be in a real state." Did something else happen before they had come here? Mesprit didn't doubt it really. "I promise you that if he tries to hurt me in any way you can dice it to pieces, regardless of who protests, O.k?" Mesprit's eyes narrowed. It would be interesting with those two around, that's for sure.
Eventually, Mesprit tuned the two out, instead delving into her own thoughts. If we have this many of us looking after the undead, it'll be hard for them to do anything against us. She thought, looking over at Miyu. Those two obviously have history, maybe Rebel was their caretaker?
"That hunts for itself." The Honchkrow's voice dragged Mesprit from her thoughts, looking over at the dark bird, she realized that they were talking about the Jolteon. "I will not have it taint my kills." That was... Fair enough. "Finally, me stomach can stop growling once food gets back." The legend could not help but smile at the Houndoom. Their accent did wonders for cheering up the legend. "Sorry Lad, I'm afraid the Honchkrow's right it could be bad if you ate the same thing as we did."
Mesprit nodded. "Yes, I doubt anyone would be happy with that. Since we seem to be civil, and Kaze has so gracefully introduced himself and Hayato, there's no harm in introducing ourselves, right?" She looked back at the group, making sure they were okay with it. "I am Mesprit, the Legend of emotions."

"Thank you." The Quilava smiled but she could feel a black hole open inside her. "You wont regret it." Reassured her but the words lose their meaning. Regret what? Letting this happen or the implications it will have? Taking in several deep breaths the Fire Type steadies herself. This was going to be okay. They had more then enough numbers to overpower a single Jolteon if need be and hopefully that wouldnt happen for some time.. or something. "Welcome to the group then~" Diverting her eyes away from anyone elses Cinder screams in her own mind. Why cant you be accepting? Why do you have to be so paranoid?? Maybe she should just take Kaze's example and try to be positive about this.. "We're adventurers here on a noble quest...well it'll probably be noble but we haven't found one yet."
"Hayato's going hunting. He can bring some fresh meat back here. He's very good at making sure it isn't tainted, aren't you Hayato? Faux nods feeling her own body weighed down by exhaustion. Mist hadn't responded to the food question and besides, she was in no shape to go searching the woods for dead animals. "That would be most appreciated." She says nodding again. "That hunts for itself. I will not have it taint my kills." She.. hadn't thought of that. If the Jolteon so much as breathed on something they were about to eat, let alone shared, it could mean the end for all of them. "Sorry Lad, I'm afraid the Honchkrow's right it could be bad if you ate the same thing as we did." Eying the Electric Type wearily she can tell he's in fairly decent shape considering. "Doesn't seem like that would be a problem though, you seem.. well fed." But was it eating undead or other living? Does it matter? We eat living as well. We just dont slaughter them. Was that the real difference?
"Yes, I doubt anyone would be happy with that. Since we seem to be civil, and Kaze has so gracefully introduced himself and Hayato, there's no harm in introducing ourselves, right?" Cinder finally felt her blood staring to cool, the panic dropping. Civil. They were all sane beings and there was no need for death. "My name is Cinder." She mutters though its already been said. "Faux." The Vulpix adds. Taking in a breath the starter suddenly feels faint. It had been a long day with still more to come.. "Perhaps while he's gone we should get this place.. tidied up. Yeah know, get it safe for the night." Her stomach feels raw, nauseous, and empty at the same time. She hardly had the energy to work but wasn't about to sit around. One paw gently kicks some gravelly bits on the floor. Even all the way back here the effects of that Earthquake could be seen. "Those undead really did a number on this place. And there could be more lurking in these halls that we haven't snuffed out."
The Vulpix flicks her ears back and forth. Wasn't that something she had said earlier? She was calm, level-headed and agreed with Cinder but seriously, was she taking her plan? When she made the suggestion everyone got pissed.. "I'd rather not have undead sneak up on us while we're sleeping two days in a row." No point in making an argument out of it. Padding back over to the hallway the Vulpix preps herself mentally for another round of exertion. "Im not too sure how we are going to fix some of the holes in the walls though."

"Welcome to the group then~" Miyu and Rebel both stared somewhat awkwardly at Kaze's sudden clap and 'welcome'. Well, that was... nice. Five minutes ago, the Gardevoir was trying to blast the Jolteon into shreds. Handsome shreds, but shreds nonetheless. That just wasn't cool. "Um, thanks, I guess." Reb's ear flicked and he turned his attention back to the Eevee. "'Cha doin', kid?"
"Nothing." she answered simply. Miyu's own ears perked at the sound of claws padding toward her, slightly surprised-but-yet-not as Rebel sat beside her and scooted a little closer, lifting a foreleg on his clean side. He pulled his sister closer in an awkward hug, sillily bumping his head against hers. "Stop it, you." Miyu chided as a tiny smile pulled at her lips.
"That hunts for itself. I will not have it taint my kills." Ohoho, this bird guy was a funny one. "Don't worry, man, I'm not interested in your one-eyed, gimp legged Ratattas." Rebel smirked, quite pleased with himself. If sarcasm was a crime, throw him in Joltie prison now. "Sorry Lad, I'm afraid the Honchkrow's right it could be bad if you ate the same thing as we did." Rosko added. Fair enough.
"Doesn't seem like that would be a problem though, you seem.. well fed." Reb blinked at the Vulpix. "Actually, it's all muscle. I work out." he winked, smiling. Miyu sighed; he could never just be serious... Or was she being too serious?
"I am Mesprit, the Legend of emotions." Well, not only did his little Miyu find a clique, but a clique with a Legend. Pretty interesting. "Nice to meet'cha, Mesprit." he replied, more formally than Miyu knew he could. The last thing Miyu wanted was for him to tick off a Legend and get himself killed by her. She'd already proved scary as heck. More so than Faux? I don't know about that.
"My name is Cinder."
"Faux."
Miyu noticed the bored expression worn by the Jolteon. She sighed, "I'll remind you everyone's names later..." Reb nodded. "Okay, cool." He stood up and stretched his hind leg out behind him, "Miyu, let's go hunt. Or forage I mean; I know you never liked meat."
She shrunk back a little in place. "I... kinda wanna stay with Cinder." Her eyes fell to the floor and she fidgeted with a particularly interesting rock. "Idiot, you've probably bugged Cinder enough. C'mon."
She rose to her feet and swung her tail out behind her, trotting off down the hall after the Jolteon. "Wait for me!"

The Ninetale's claws clack against the hard floor as she attempts to calm herself but only becomes more agitated. Couldn't it just back away a bit? Couldn't the walls int his room just fall down and alone them an escape route from that thing?? Mel, just between you and me, if you really do not want this undead here, I will side with you. Her ears fall and press tight against her skull. "No no no no," She mutters both in her head and allowed. The sound. The sound was not coming into her ears but her head, her brain. I'm here to help, not to push more stress onto you guys. That's not what legends are supposed to do. "Get out of my head!" She roars with clear distress, not even hearing the words being spoken. They snuck up on her. She didn't even here or see them but they were now inside her. Invasion, trapped, intrusion, deres, fear, panic. Their was someone in her head. Mel moaned, terror-stricken, until she felt her Electrike's paws on her side, easing her into a sit. "Calm... Calm.." He soothed until she found herself quieted, the panic dropping. Its not real.. Its not real.. She tells herself.
Etin hums softly, feeling Mel finally calm down.. again, and stays until he is satisfied that she will remain so this time. "Welcome to the group then~" Etincelle nods with agreement. With things evening out he finds himself standing a bit taller, a bit more sturdy on his short legs as he moves a single step away from the Ninetales. "My name is Kaze and this grumpy bird here is Hayato." "I am Mesprit, the Legend of emotions." "I am Etincelle, and this-" He speaks cheerfully but the full age of his voice comes forth before being cut off. "Im.. Mel..anie." "My name is Cinder." "Faux." Turning back toward Mel the Electric Type continued his duty of reassuring her as the prospect of food came up once more. . "That would be most appreciated." Faux took the words right from his mouth. "That hunts for itself. I will not have it taint my kills." Head dropping at the sudden harshness in the words Etincelle's pink eyes move back to the Jolteon, shocked to find him much closer to Eevee then he was a moment ago. "Doesn't seem like that would be a problem though, you seem.. well fed." "Actually, it's all muscle. I work out." A comedian? At least it was a good sign- comedy took a lot of intelligence, even if it was simple jibes.
"Perhaps while he's gone we should get this place.. tidied up. Yeah know, get it safe for the night." His muscles ached beneath his skin. Though it was only in a little area the Electrike had already done just that and it was all but exhausting. "That would help a lot. Nothing to trip over or step on." He makes a point to leave Mel's name out of his sentence. She does not respond. "Those undead really did a number on this place. And there could be more lurking in these halls that we haven't snuffed out." Thinking it over for a second the small canine bundles his courage. "My hearing and smell are pretty sharp, Mel's even more so. We could go check the halls for anything suspicious." Nothing had shown up since those two powerful ones. Maybe they had scared all the little ones away from here? Even now they had been making a lot of noise in a small area and nothing had shown up.
"Im not too sure how we are going to fix some of the holes in the walls though." Faux mused. The much larger Ninetales felt her body slowly sink to the floor until her belly was pressed against it. Calm.. She repeated the word to herself again, making sure it was only her own voice rattling around in her brain. "Miyu, let's go hunt. Or forage I mean; I know you never liked meat." She had only been calm for a few moments before the alarm bells were starting to fire again. Instantly she is back on her paws and alert. Oh gods didn't they just say they didn't want the pair alone! "Idiot, you've probably bugged Cinder enough. C'mon." The sound of pawsteps heading away from them roar so loudly in her ears all else is deafened. "Wait for me!" No, no they couldn't be alone and in a hunting setting at that! What if that thing got too into it and turned on her! "Uhm uhme Mes, Mesprit! Hey Mesprit why dont you do with them ah?" She rapidly sputters the words out, flipping her head around to where she thought the legend floated. "Eyes from above.. and all.. and no hands to carry things. Yeah.. psychic moving would be good. D-dont you think that'd be a good idea?"

"Finally, me stomach can stop growling once food gets back." The Houndoom says cheerfully.
"Sorry Lad, I'm afraid the Honchkrow's right it could be bad if you ate the same thing as we did." The Houndoom is kind to point out. Oh, it would be such a tragedy if one of them got bit. He was so lucky he had Hayato to look after him~
"Doesn't seem like that would be a problem though, you seem.. well fed."
"Actually, it's all muscle. I work out." The Jolteon replies smoothly.
Hayato snorts at that. Kaze has a little giggle too.
"I am Mesprit, the Legend of emotions." "I am Etincelle, and this-"
"Im.. Mel..anie."
"My name is Cinder."
"Faux."
"You know, I really think I won't be able to remember all these names." Kaze confides in the bird.
Hayato caws harshly and puffs up his feathers.
"Perhaps while he's gone we should get this place.. tidied up. Yeah know, get it safe for the night." Kaze's feathery ears perk up at the suggestion.
"That would help a lot. Nothing to trip over or step on." Oh, he's talking about the Ninetales? How sweet~
"Those undead really did a number on this place. And there could be more lurking in these halls that we haven't snuffed out." Kaze nudges Hayato to make sure the black bird has heard that last sentence. Hayato lightly pecks him back to prove he has.
"I'd rather not have undead sneak up on us while we're sleeping two days in a row."
"No problem there." Kaze pipes up cheerfully. "Hayato can't sleep, can you baby?" The Gardevoir's face stretches into a more cheerful grin. "It's a good thing I don't have trace or we'd never get anything done."
"My hearing and smell are pretty sharp, Mel's even more so. We could go check the halls for anything suspicious."
"Ooooh we have scouts~" Kaze gushes "How exciting~!"
"If we find something I want to kill it." The Honchkrow croaks. "We came here for the killing." He says as much to remind Kaze of their purpose as to remind the rest of the group.
He loved the Gardevoir deeply, with all his heart, but he had this fixation of playing house. They weren't here to make friends, they were here to grind levels.
"Im not too sure how we are going to fix some of the holes in the walls though."
Kaze raises a spring green hand in the air with a truly ridiculous eagerness.
"Ooooh, I can levitate stuff!" He volunteers. "Maybe if we can find some boards and nails or something I could use my powers to hammer them into place..."
"Why bother?" The Honchkrow caws.
"We came for the fight. Undead come, I remove their organs." His long, black, dagger-like claws flex ominously. "These are all the defenses we need."
"Miyu, let's go hunt. Or forage I mean; I know you never liked meat." The Jolteon suggests.
That suggestion seems to spark a small panic.
"Idiot, you've probably bugged Cinder enough. C'mon."
Well if she dies it's her own fault. Then he can kill the Jolteon. He'll strike from above, where the Electric Type can't see until his claws are in its eyeballs.
"Wait for me!"
"Uhm uhme Mes, Mesprit! Hey Mesprit why dont you do with them ah?" The blinded Ninetales spits out her words, turning her sightless head to try and find the hovering pink legend. Hayato always wondered what legend meat tasted like...
"Eyes from above.. and all.. and no hands to carry things. Yeah.. psychic moving would be good. D-dont you think that'd be a good idea?"
"She means she's worried about the Jolteon eating Miyu." The Gardevoir explains in a bored tone with a complete absence of tact. His ears perk up and he grins. "Hey, I remembered her name. Go me."
"I go now." The Honchkrow caws and unfolds his messy black wings.
The Gardevoir quickly flits closer to him and wraps his arms around the bird's waist.
"Kisses~" He croons.
Hayato leans in and affectionately rubs his beak across the Gardevoir's cheek.
"Kisses~" He croaks back before taking wing and setting off in the opposite direction from that rot-bodied rat Kaze seemed to happy to be around.

Re: (ACE) The OLIVINE Team
An awfully hard situation--a clearly undead Jolteon trotting into the group whilst murmuring Miyu's name. One that is intelligent, at least enough to be speaking and negotiating with the group. Their very presence instigates an uproar among them, an argument on what to do with the electric-type. "This isn't a normal undead we are dealing with. He is trying to be peaceful with us and, at least for the moment, doesnt seem to have any dark devices." Mist flicks her tongue and gives a glance to Ven at her side, a single brow raising in thought.
It seems in the end, the consensus came that the Jolteon is allowed in the group. Almost immediately after the others begin their plans for the rest of the day, sorting through who will go hunting, who will go scout--with Cinder offering her own suggestions. "Perhaps while he's gone we should get this place.. tidied up. Yeah know, get it safe for the night. Those undead really did a number on this place. And there could be more lurking in these halls that we haven't snuffed out."
"I can aid in scou--" though the Arbok begins her own contribution to the group, Ven immediately flops upwards and onto her scales, his shrill voice speaking against her decision.
"No vay mizzy, not vhen you're injured like this. I'll help vith schouting around." He flashes a bright smile at the serpent, before turning back towards Cinder and Faux. "Ve could probably vix the holes uzing zome rubble and mud, no? Both are plenty, and ve can juscht make a makezhift bloackage for the night."

As time went on, the legendary spoke to everyone. "Yes, I doubt anyone would be happy with that. Since we seem to be civil, and Kaze has so gracefully introduced himself and Hayato, there's no harm in introducing ourselves, right?" Rosko nodded in agreement as everyone started to introduce themselves to the Jolteon. "I am Mesprit, the Legend of emotions." "My name is Cinder." "Faux." That was three of them, but the Ninetails was in a panic still. As Rosko continued to wonder what's wrong with her, his thoughts was itching at the question if she suffered something else. The Dark type wasn't sure if it was a form of anxiety. Finally the Electrike sat by her and calmed her down. Wonder if that Lass is okay she seems to be having anxiety problems. The Houndoom thought. Then, the other two introduced themselves. "I am Etincelle, and this-" The Electrike said and the Ninetails soon afterwords. "Im.. Mel..anie." So that was her name. Rosko didn't know the ninetails name until now.
The Houndoom then introduced himself to the jolteon. "Me name's Rosko, lad." Rosko then decided to stay and help in whatever he could. "Perhaps while he's gone we should get this place.. tidied up. Yeah know, get it safe for the night." That was the plan, but the risk of danger could still loom behind the walls. "Those undead really did a number on this place. And there could be more lurking in these halls that we haven't snuffed out." Rosko looked around and seen some of the damage that the undead had caused. The way it looked was not bad, but some could still break in and attack if the holes wasn't blocked. "My hearing and smell are pretty sharp, Mel's even more so. We could go check the halls for anything suspicious." Etin said. The Houndoom could help them in case they ran into a small group of undead. "Mind if a salty see houndoom like me joins ye?" The dark type said. This was the least he could do to help out with the others. Until Hayato came back with food, he would have to keep himself busy.
While waiting for the Electike and Ninetails, Rosko listened to what the others was doing. "Miyu, let's go hunt. Or forage I mean; I know you never liked meat." Seems that the Jolteon planned to take Miyu out foraging. The idea sounded nice, but the danger was still there of an undead appearing. "I... kinda wanna stay with Cinder." The eevee said while Rosko watched her fidgeting with something. "Idiot, you've probably bugged Cinder enough. C'mon." The Jolteon persisted when he started walking away. Miyu got up and followed after him. "Wait for me!" Rosko got somewhat worried about her, but Melanie said something to Mesprit. "Uhm uhme Mes, Mesprit! Hey Mesprit why dont you do with them ah?" The Ninetails said to the legendary. "Eyes from above.. and all.. and no hands to carry things. Yeah.. psychic moving would be good. D-dont you think that'd be a good idea?" It sounded like a good idea just in case they run into trouble and need help. Rosko then agreed with the statement. "Aye, would be a good idea Lass, Who knows what bilge rattatas could be out there." Rosko said.
The Houndoom looked over at the Arbok and Golbat wondering what they're going to do. "I can aid in scou--" Mist was about to finish before Ven stopped her from finishing the sentence. "No vay mizzy, not vhen you're injured like this. I'll help vith schouting around." Ven said to her. Though her injuries looked a bit more better, she still could end up cutting them open again by accident. Rosko wondered how she got injured to begin with. Though thinking about it didn't help a bit, but he could always ask her how it happened. "Ve could probably vix the holes uzing zome rubble and mud, no? Both are plenty, and ve can juscht make a makezhift bloackage for the night." That would work however, wouldn't someone need to use flamethrower to make it solidify? Yet, the Quilava seemed capable of it and Rosko was to. His priority right now is help with the scouting and eliminating any undead that could still be around.
The Houndoom looked at both Etin and Melanie, waiting patently to get started with scouting. "I'm ready when ye both are." The Dark Type said to them. He would have to be behind them to cover them in case there are undead about. This was an easy task for him since he had two fire moves that could be effective against the undead. As he waited he thought of a shanty in his head and hummed along to it, though he didn't have any words to it. All of a sudden he began laughing a bit. He thought of the time when he watched the Captain play his instrument and they sang blow the man down. Those where the good days, but now he had to concentrate and help out where ever he could. "Harhar, hunting bilge rattatas would take me mind of things." The Houndoom said.
The Ninetails said to the legendary.

As the focus turned to the topic of cleaning the are up to make it safer, Mesprit's golden eyes wandered, taking in all the shattered windows and boarded doors. There would definately need to be some serious work done here, that was for sure. "Those undead really did a number on this place. And there could be more lurking in these halls that we haven't snuffed out." At first, Mesprit wanted to go help scout out, but the Legend also wanted to stay back and stick around Miyu. She didn't trust the Jolteon, no matter how friendly they were being.Inside the Battle Castle || Afternoon || Post 9
"My hearing and smell are pretty sharp, Mel's even more so. We could go check the halls for anything suspicious." Well, it took the pixie's mind off that subject. With Etin and Mel scouting around, the Legend was sure that they would be able to tell them if there were any dangers. "Mind if a salty see houndoom like me joins ye?" If Rosko did go with them, that made three canine-pokemon going out there, all of which would have a good sense of smell regardless. Something about that thought seemed to calm the Legend. Surely they could handle themselves.
"Miyu, let's go hunt. Or forage I mean; I know you never liked meat." Mesprit's attention snapped back to the Jolteon. While she would be keeping an eye on them, the Emotion Legend didn't want Miyu to feel as though everyone here disapproved of Rebel being around - to be fair, most of them didn't. "I... kinda wanna stay with Cinder." And for good reason, the pixie thought. Cinder was as suspicious of Rebel as the Legend was, perhaps even more so. "Idiot, you've probably bugged Cinder enough. C'mon." With that, the Jolteon started walking off. It didn't take long for Miyu to go racing after them.
"Wait for me!"
"Uhm uhme Mes, Mesprit! Hey Mesprit why don't you do with them ah?"
The Emotion Pixie nodded, starting to follow the two that were just leaving. "Eyes from above.. and all.. and no hands to carry things. Yeah.. psychic moving would be good. D-don't you think that'd be a good idea?" With a small smile, Mesprit gave Melanie a short bow. "I was planning on following them anyway. Don't worry, I will keep a good eye on them." She said, and Rosko soon followed up with a similar request. "Aye, would be a good idea Lass, Who knows what bilge rattatas could be out there." With that, the Emotion Legend waved to the group, flying after Rebel and Miyu.
They hadn't gotten far thankfully, and Mesprit was able to keep up rather easily. She flew just off to the side, behind the duo. "I hope you don't mind me tagging along. A few of us still have doubts about Rebel staying with us, and also I figured you might need a hand if you need to carry things back." In short, that was her way of telling the Jolteon and Eevee that she was here to both look out for Miyu's safety around the Jolteon, and to help them with gathering food.

Inside The Battle Castle | Afternoon
Cinder 64 | Faux 35
"No problem there. Hayato can't sleep, can you baby?" Faux nods. While the dark bird was unsettling keeping him around did seem have its perks. Food and a night watch. Not bad. Perhaps they shouldn't be so quick to judge even if the thing looked rightly infected and ready to kill them. "My hearing and smell are pretty sharp, Mel's even more so. We could go check the halls for anything suspicious." The tension had passed and once more the group calmly delegating themselves. "All yours." Ease sweeps over the many tailed fox. "If we find something I want to kill it." She snorts softly and grins, "I thought you were going hunting." Undead weren't her go-to when it came to prey but she could tell the Honchkrow was joking.. sort of. "We came here for the killing." Her grin changes to a smile. At least he was honest and with time she could find herself liking the bird.
"Miyu, let's go hunt. Or forage I mean; I know you never liked meat." The Quilava was not as calm. "Hunting?" She mutters under her breath. He was going hunting with Miyu? Legends he's going to hunt Miyu! Her throat was already dry and sticky from the previous anxiety episode and refused to make words. "Wait for me!" They were leaving. They were leaving. Chocking on her own breathe Cinder struggles to both breath and even attempt to make words. Thankfully Melanie was on it fast as a Electrode. "Uhm uhme Mes, Mesprit! Hey Mesprit why don't you do with them ah?" The sentences are no more then word vomit but Cinder didn't dear try to interrupt until she was done. Yes, yes, fantastic idea! She roars out in her mind, the words crashing against her skull, desperate to get out. "Eyes from above.. and all.. and no hands to carry things. Yeah.. psychic moving would be good. D-don't you think that'd be a good idea?"
Locking into the legend the fire starter puffs with relief when she sees that the pixie is already following the vulpine pair. "I was planning on following them anyway. Don't worry, I will keep a good eye on them." Thank the legends. All of them. Is all she can think to herself. But even as she watches the three of them pad out together dread still lingers in her belly. The furry tip of Miyu's tail vanishes around the corner and the Quilava tries instantly to bound after them, ready to protect the Eevee, but Faux steps in front of of her. With each desperate dip around the Vulipx the fox just shifted to block the starter once again. "Let it go." She calms the agitated Fire Type, "Mesprit is with them. The Legend wont let anything happen and you panicking over every little thing wont help either." "But, but Faux!" she pleads but the Vulpix simply shakes her head. "Relax. Come on, we have clean up to do on your suggestion." Cinder recoils slightly, defeat glistening in her golden gaze, but nods knowing the fox is right.
Ven addresses them, cheerful and ready to get things done. Somehow the bat manages to muster a smile out of both the weasel and the fox. "Ve could probably vix the holes uzing zome rubble and mud, no? Both are plenty, and ve can juscht make a makezhift bloackage for the night." Faux nods following his train of thought. "Yeah, mud would work well to fill the smaller gaps. But how are we going to move some of those larger marble chunks?" Even the small ones were heavy and the image of Etincelle's exhausted face after he had cleared a space for Melanie flashes across her gaze. Even with a team effort clearing that room would take forever if they had to push everything. "Ooooh, I can levitate stuff!" Kaze beams. "That's perfect!" Cinder adds in, the positivity returning to her voice as something other then Miyu's safety starts to fill her mind. "Maybe if we can find some boards and nails or something I could use my powers to hammer them into place..."
Placing one paw to her chin and the other to her elbow the Quilava thinks for a moment. "Im pretty sure those earthquakes loosened up some boards. I know I saw some within piles of rubble here in the halls. Not sure about nails though. Probably some around if we look." Not wanted to languish any longer the Quilava is ready to go, her paws tingling to get moving once more. "Lets get started!" She encourages before bounding down the hall and back to the main room with Faux hot in her heels. It seems like only moments pass before she is back in the main room. The ground is heavily cracked and strewn with debris, the two charred corpses hardly a worry compared to all the cobble and rubble about. Orange light from the low sun poured in through the many holes in the wall. "Hmm.. the walls first or all this mess?"

Battle Frontier | Noon l (70)(5)
Battle Frontier | Noon l (70)(5)
"So, do you know the way around the Battle Frontier?" the Eevee padded beside the taller Jolteon as they passed through the doorframe and into the afternoon. The breeze carried the scene of death but it was somehow still more refreshing than being cooped up in the Frontier. Rebel shrugged, shaking out his purple pelt and sending a wad of dark blood pelting against the ground, "Can't say that I do. I guess we'll have to wander around aimlessly for the rest of our lives."
Miyu giggled, pressing her warm flank against Rebel. He was unnaturally cold, but she didn't mind; "I'm so glad you're back. I missed you a lot."
"I hope you don't mind me tagging along. A few of us still have doubts about Rebel staying with us, and also I figured you might need a hand if you need to carry things back." the Legend offered, flying along with them. Mesprit was clearly not anything about feelings, as he was standing right there. "Whatever floats your Gogoat, Miss Legend." Rebel grumbled, walking ahead. Miyu's ears flattened as she struggled to keep up.
They trailed along towards the edge of the Battle Frontier, carrying on the sweet small talk that Miyu only could with Reb. "Cinder found some berries in the plants outside the Frontier. Think that'd be okay?" Miyu suggested, flicking an ear. Rebel stared blankly into the greens ahead, mind wandering away from the conversation and more about... hunger. He was hungry. "Huh?" He looked back at Miyu who was tiptoeing to try and be face to face with him. "Oh, uh, yeah. Let's see..."
As they explored through the forested area, Miyu worried they'd get lost in the wilderness and have to build houses out of leaves and ultimately, die. That was a bit dramatic... Rebel could only laugh at these theories, his comforting voice assuring her he wouldn't let that happen. "Look~!" He trotted up to a plant holding several red, spiky berries. Miyu's lip curved into a bashful smile, "Those are Tamato Berries. I don't like them."
Geez, she went off and got spoiled. Darn this group she's with; they must've been treating her like a little princess... the Quilava to be sure - Miyu was obviously very attached to her.
The next bush had few, but very oddly shaped berries. Miyu prodded at one with her paw and nipped a bite. "Reb, these are-- huh?" She looked around curiously, but the Jolteon had disappeared like a ghost through a wall. "What the heck, Reb?"
The Lightning Pokémon held himself low to the grassy floor, taking one cautious step ahead of the other. Rebel drew closer to the living Pidgey nonchalantly pecking at the ground, his tongue running over his front row of sharp teeth. It's wings ruffled as a cool breeze shook the shrubbery, but the sound of paws carelessly padding up alerted the Flying-type of their presence. "Rebel?"
The Jolteon sighed, watching his lunch's eyes narrow and it taking flight to anywhere else as Miyu approached. Ugh.
"What are you doing?" Miyu asked obliviously, watching Reb rise from a hunter's position to a more laid back pose. He paused for a moment, his jaws parting but no sound leaving. "I thought I heard something. Just making sure everything was clear. It's fine." he lied, earning Miyu's full faith as she dragged him along back to the Mago bush. "Okay, well, I found some berries and they're really good!"

Inside the Battle Castle | Afternoon
Etincelle 49 | Melanie 58
"All yours." The Electrike's short tail wags. That was something he knew he was good at. "You can count on us!" Giving Melanie a warm smile he can see that her momentary panic has soothed as the Legend follows the vulpine duo out. "Mind if a salty sea houndoom like me joins ye?" For a moment he is surprised by the offer but quickly it turns to gratitude. "The more the merrier." He cheers though mentally the Etincelle notes that three should be the limit for a scouting party.
Everyone started to shift to their own tasks, finding a place of some sort for themselves. Gently nudging Mel's leg to get her moving he simply says, "We should be off." before heading for the door. Looking back just to make sure Mel was following him- and she was as she walked past him with the bushy ends to her many tails brushing past him- Etincelle stops as something else catches his eye. Mist? Was she going to stay here and rest? The serpent was going to be on her own, and while he trusted that they wouldn't let anything sneak in if something did the snake was not up to par. She's already nearly died.. A cold sweep trickles along his spine. Mist was a strong Pokemon, she didn't need protection but if she was alone.. What if its a repeat scenario like Ven's.. Except the ending wouldn't be so miraculous.
Looking back into the hallway he can see Mel was now sitting, calmly but stiffly sitting while waiting for him. The tiny Electric Type took in a deep breath. She needed him for so much more then simple guidance and that weight was pressing down on his shoulders until his legs wobbled. If she couldnt defend herself alone how was she any different then Mist in this situation? Letting out the breath Etin can feel his bones creaking. What he wouldn't give to just lie down for a bit.. But there is work to be done. He smiles as he looks at Melanie, force of habit with an ever painful sting that she can not see it. His words were gentle, "Hey Mel, why dont you stay with Mist? Wouldn't want to leave her all by her lonesome now would we?" While he would of loved to offer himself to stay he isn't sure how the fox would react to being along with an unfamiliar Pokemon.
Shock, doubt, and shame instantly cloud the Ninetales judgement. Was he trying to get rid of her? Did he think she was going to get in the way? No.. he already said how good.. most, my senses are. Was he trying to keep the two lame Pokemon locked away so they wouldn't be liabilities? No, no he wouldn't think that way about Mist. Or me.. Ears falling the Fire Type tries to prevent a frown from donning her face but can not. "But you said my senses would be really useful for checking around." Useful. That's what she wanted to be. "Yes, but you could use those same skills to make sure nothing comes in here." She can hear the need in his voice, that he wasn't going to move until one of them stayed behind, that this was important to him. Part of Mel wants to yell and say that she is strong and independent! That she can check those halls perfectly fine even without sight and didn;t want to be locked away like some useless pet. Yet the other part shies away knowing the area will be literally covered in mountains of debris and make her own progress slow. Maybe it is for the best.. A crushing blow nails her right in the chest. "Alright.." She yields, dragging her paws back into the room. She had only been gone a moment and already the energy felt different somehow now that it was practically empty. Its almost.. solemn.. Already she strains to remember where the snake had been laying. "Nothings going to get in here, right Mist?"
She'll be okay. They both will. The Electrike reassures himself as he walks down the hall with sturdy steps. As they come to the first fork he listens for any distant sounds, hearing nothing but the drum of paws underfoot. The sound on the left returns faster and louder- the way was blocked or not as long. "I say we check the left first." He says not as a command but suggestion to the Houndoom.

Battle Castle | Noon | (38)
With a light peck on the cheek Kaze says goodbye to Hayato and watch as the dark type disappears down the corridor in a heartbeat.
"You know every time people split up like this in movies someone dies~" Kaze says with good cheer and flutters his ears. "Maybe we'll get lucky and find treasure instead...Though this probably isn't the right genre for that."
He muses on this for a moment then smiles widely.
"Either way Hayato will be alright."
If Hayato wasn't alright things would be bad but Hayato knew how to fight very well and he always came back.
"Im pretty sure those earthquakes loosened up some boards. I know I saw some within piles of rubble here in the halls. Not sure about nails though. Probably some around if we look."
"I look around." Kaze says with a smile. "Lets get started!" The enthusiastic fire type darts off.
With long elegant strides of his slender white legs the Gardevoir eagerly follows behind them, the tiny points of his legs stopping just above the ground so he is walking on air.
"By the way I love your accent." He says as he passes by the Golbat.
"Adventure Time. C'mon grab your friends. We'll go to very distant lands..." Kaze hums to himself as he cracks his fingers.
"Hmm.. the walls first or all this mess?""
Kaze surveys the room. The thing that draws his eye first is the charred bodies in the center of it.
he giggles.
"The fun will never end, it's Adventure Time!" He softly finishes his little song.
His emerald eyes flare a bright, pale blue. His feathery ear fins stand on end as blue light coruscates across his fingers. A similar blue light starts to flare around his fingers as he points at the bodies. They rise into the air like charred puppets and the Gardevoir laughs as the bodies ragdollize, limbs flopping limply without event he facade of undeath to animate them. Chips of charred flesh fall off as the corpses bump into each other. Kaze laughs then cuts off his powers. The bodies fall with a thump.
"Well I can put all the junk in the pile but then we have a pile of junk. Anyone know of some way we can dele-get rid of it."
He wiggles his fingers like a stage magician.
"My black hole generating powers are not a garbage disposal."
The Honchkrow takes flight. A few loose black feathers fall to the ground as he takes off like a streak of shadow away from the group. His beady black eyes scan the corridors below and he flaps his wings powerfully. With care he flits around corners, not lowering his speed for a moment.
There was no point in hunting in the castle itself. If there was any pokemon that settled in such a place they would likely be ghost types; all foul vapors and no real substance.
In the dusty, musty air he can smell a fine breath of outside air. He follows the trace of fresh scent like it was a physical thread hanging in the air, hunting down an opening to get out of this confining castle. The smell of outside air gets stronger and stronger as he darts rapidly down the corridors, shedding a few dark feathers as he approaches his goal. Set high in a stained glass window that threw slivers of rainbow on the dusty carpet below is a broken pane. A few shards of jade green glass cling to the sides of the shattered pane as Hayato slips through the spacious gap. The shade reminds him of Kaze's eyes; he makes a mental note to bring him a piece of it when he's done hunting.
Out of the castle he feels like he can take a deep breath without coughing. He's sure the place was probably much more welcoming but all the human junk absorbed so much dust he wouldn't be surprised if it was coating his feathers. The Honchkrow shakes, a few tiny white plumes dropping from his breast, and tilts his head to the grounds below. He's managed to get good height and has a clear view of the grounds. Among the tiled rooftops is a flash of green. The Honchkrow drops, tightening his circling around the patch of greenery as his red eyes search for prey. As he circles his crimson eyes are immediately drawn to a tuft of tan fur, well camouflaged against the ground but not well enough. The golden fur of the Jolteon is also camouflaged but the patches of discoloration and smears of red blood ruin any attempt at hiding.
His claws twitch. An Eevee was mostly fur; he could finish one by himself and no-one would have to know. Except everyone had seen them both leave and no doubt they'd get to accusing him right away. Either way he was going to play a little joke on her. It was her fault for not considering an attack from the skies.
He folds his wings in and darts towards the Eevee like a bolt of black lightning.
"Surprise!"

"Yeah, mud would work well to fill the smaller gaps. But how are we going to move some of those larger marble chunks?" Faux brings up a good point, and the Golbat's gaze lingers uncertainly on a few larger chunks scattered in the corridor. He most definitely can't pick them up, Mist is injured (not to mention she lacks arms), most of the others lack the proper limbs to lift something of that size...Thankfully, a solution is found when the Gardevoir mentions his telekinetic abilities.
After mentioning what may have come after the earthquakes, the Quilava races down the corridors with the Vulpix following in tow. Ven shoots a glance back to Mist, a grand smile beaming towards the serpent. "Schtay here, I vill go vith them to lend aid. I vill be back zoon, yes?" Only receiving a subtle nod back from the Arbok, the bat quickly lunges his arms forward to propel himself across the ground, barely able to keep speed with the others. It looks a little silly, admittedly, a Golbat thrusting his wings horizontally to speed-drag himself across the hallway, but he doesn't mind. When he arrives, the fire-type asks what they should begin with. "The mess, clearing it vill give us more room to vork."
Meanwhile, Mist coils around where she was left, dim eyes surveying her own surroundings. It's quiet, now, that the others have left to do their own jobs. Despite telling herself that this is perfectly fine, the Arbok cannot shake the feeling of burden. She's absolutely useless in this state--injured and apathetic. If anything, she'll only bring the others down: she can barely move let alone fight. The serpent still feels pulses of pain through her scales, uncomfortably shifting in hopes that a different position will lessen the agony of her wounds.
She flicks her tongue out and perks up when she catches a familiar flame-scent approach, angling her head so her working eye may see the Ninetales return. "Nothings going to get in here, right Mist?"
"Definitely not," despite speaking firm words, the snake's voice is soft "and if they do, we'll give them hell." A light, amiable chuckle follows her last statement, and a smile can be heard through her speech. "I thought you were going with Etin and the others?"

Rosko wagged his tail as Etin and Melanie got ready to leave. "The more the merrier." The Houndoom got up and stretched his legs out. "We should be off." The Electrike said to the Ninetails. As everyone started to do their thing Rosko followed behind the duo. As they head towards the door Rosko thought that maybe the arbok could use some company, but with his sense of smell and fierce flamethrower, he was needed more with the other two. The Houndoom stopped, seeing Melanie sitting down. Was she sniffing the air for any undead present in the area? Or was she waiting for Etin? Then, Etin spoke to Melanie. "Hey Mel, why dont you stay with Mist? Wouldn't want to leave her all by her lonesome now would we?" The Dark Type thought the same thing someone needs to protect Mist in case something slips in while they searched the area. It be for the best in case some bilge rattatas slip in here un noticed by us. The Houndoom thought.
As the conversation went on, the Houndoom often wondered about how Melanie went blind. Maybe it is a question he'll ask later after they go to rest for the night. He started sniffing the air around him and so far there was nothing around. There was probably a better scent outside of the room they're in. Since Rosko got here, he felt that he made some companions for the first time since his captain died. I wonder what they be talking about, hopefully one of use will stay behind for the lass. Rosko had some useful moves to help against the undead and he would use it for protection if needed. At the same time he thought maybe Melanie has some useful moves as well, but without any sight she would be only able to track where the undead might be. "But you said my senses would be really useful for checking around." The Electrike did say that and honestly Rosko's sense of smell wasn't as sharp as Melanie's. While waiting, Rosko started to feel more hungry and wanted to find some food, but the houndoom was sure that the Honchkrow would bring some back.
"Yes, but you could use those same skills to make sure nothing comes in here." Etin said to Melanie as Rosko would have stayed behind for her. Though he would have stayed, but Etin would need him more than Mist would. "Alright.." The Houndoom watched as the Ninetails slowly walks back to where Mist was. A part of Rosko wanted to ask he if she'll be okay, but the other part wanted to tell her that he'll switch places with her. Not a word came out of the houndoom's mouth. He felt bad for Melanie, but it is what it is. As they continued on, Rosko felt that maybe Etin might know what happened to Melanie. Whether he was to ask the question or not lingered on his mind. "Lad, I know we be searching and all, but what happened to Melanie and why can't she see?" The Houndoom asked. Though he wasn't sure if Etin might know, but it was worth the question. As they went down the stairs, they came across a fork in the halls. "I say we check the left first." Etin said to Rosko in a suggestive voice. The Dark type looked around to the right side first then to the left and went along with Etin's suggestion.
While traveling down the hall to the left, he started sniffing the air around them. Again he couldn't get anything yet, but a musty smell started to infiltrate his nose. Keeping pace with Etin, Rosko wondered how long the hall is and what could be on the right side. They'll eventually get to that, but for now they had to check the left hall. I wonder how far this hall goes, me stomach is still growling like a hungry snorlax. The Houndoom couldn't get his mind off food, maybe there's a kitchen in here that could have some food. Going deeper in the smell started getting stronger, either there was something in their hiding or a pipe burst happened. "Lad, do you smell something musty in here?" The Dark Type asked as they continued down the hall. Rosko couldn't shake the feeling that they might have to fight a few undead that may have been hiding. The smell is definitely getting stronger, hope the lad is ready for anything. The Houndoom thought. The musty smell began to become more sickly sweet as they got closer to the source of it.

Inside The Battle Castle | Afternoon
Cinder 65 | Faux 36
The Quilava's fuzzy ears twitch as she listens to Kaze's tune. It was completely foreign to her but the Gardevoir seemed to of heard it before and was quite fond of it. I wonder where it comes from. She ponders for just a moment before returning to the task at hand. "Maybe the floors would be better 'cause I dont want to trip or have to finagle my way through crap." As if on some strange cue Cinder gives a gaping yawn then stretches her long spine, noticing once more the difference in her body shape. Hopefully her improved size wasn't going to be a hindrance..
Faux was wandering toward the doorway as she turned her sights back to Kaze only to find the Psychic using their said abilities with the charred corpses. "Well I can put all the junk in the pile but then we have a pile of junk. Anyone know of some way we can dele-get rid of it." Blinking at Kaze's quick correction it goes right over the Quilava's head. "Hmm.." She ponders, "If its a junk pile we can deal with it after. Probably better then having stuff be in the way when we are fixing the walls." She looks around at some of the objects on the floor. "I can already see some boards. They must of fallen from the ceiling or something." She can think of no where else for them to of come from.
"My black hole generating powers are not a garbage disposal." True.. "So we still have to find some place to put the actual trash and waste, like the corpses." Just shoving them into a corner wasn't a permanent solution by any means. "We could burn the bodies further. Then at least we wouldn't have to deal with the scent of rot." The Vulpix suggests. "Or move them outside, bury or cover them... oceans nearby, and that massive hole in the gateway to get in here." They had options but the Quilava notes that most of those sound.. oddly human. "Burning wouldn't be bad if we can control the fire." Cinder ponders before moving over to a nearby chunk of marble. "But we can deal with that later." Lifting it with her somewhat stubby paws the Quilava struggled to more then a few steps. Dropping it, she decided it would be better to roll the chunk along as she approached the wall with a massive hole. "So we stacking these in the gap and sealing them in or trying to reconstruct it with the damaged pieces?" She ask's Kaze, unsure of how to go about the repairs.
The Vulpix's nose pushes past the the door before she is called on, "Where ya going Fuax?" It should of been obvious but the fox remains calm. "To get the mud." They needed a fill for the cracks and a paste for the small stones. Boards would keep them in place but they needed mud to at least keep them together. With a swish of her many tails Faux pads out of the building. Immediately she must detour her eyes, surprised by the intensity of the dipping suns light. The day was starting to die away already and by the look of things they wouldn't be traveling at all. Well, better make this place a proper shelter then. She thinks to herself, curving to the right along the edge of the building. There has to be some place around here that's shaded day round.
At some point the humans must of had a watering system for all the plants around, though now the hardy ones were running a muck. If she found that.. No. The Vulpix changes direction as she cuts off her own line of thought. Something like that would probably be underground and I wouldn't even know what to do with it. Cutting across a pathway she dives into a mass collection of plant life, stopping for a moment to sniff and listen. Its quiet.. but it smells clean. Nothing disease ridden had been by here recently at least. Still alert she pads through the plants, taking in the coolness of the soil despite how warm the air was. Maybe here? This was more of dirt then mud and they didn't have a water type to mix in. Sniffing a bush the fox gnaws off one of its leaves at the stem; a wide, flat leaf that would work for transport once she found what she was looking for.

Battle Frontier | Afternoon l (71)(6)
"Urf!" Frustration was setting into the Eevee now. She had managed to reach a couple of berries, but by God, this bush was out to torment her. Miyu lowered her front half to the ground, swishing her tail to and fro staring up at the berries just out of reach. Rebel sat behind her practically sweat dropping at her repetitive failures. "... Do you need help?" he sigh-asked, watching as she yet again jumped to reach a berry.
"Noo! I've got this!" Miyu insisted, her jump proving fruitless... Or rather, berryless. Rebel lifted his paw from the ground and ran it down his face, stretching his eyes and lips down. Miyu glowered at the suggestion, "Are you saying I can't do this?"
The Jolteon raised from his haunches and took a few paces toward the bush, "You said it, not me." He gently look a foot and placed it on Miyu's forehead, shoving her tiny form backwards much to her chagrin. "Just... watch the clouds or something."
Reb was plenty tall enough for the mission, but the problem remained how he could get the berries down without risking infection to Miyu. Maybe bite the base of the stem?... No, that was still risky. Oh, screw me. I make her feel dumb and I'm just as bad. he scolded himself. He couldn't let her know that though. He. Could. Not.
Miyu shifted back and forth on her paws, grooving slightly to a tune she hummed. Her tail swayed and head dipped left to right happily, pausing only for a moment to throw a playful question; "Do I need to go get Cinder, you dummy?" Reb followed with some mostly inaudible grumbles. Bahah, it was always fun to get under his fur. "Cinder is really great though, she helped be during a fight with these two undead and saved--"
"Surprise!" The voice came with no warning, just a mock behind the Eevee sending her tripping over her own paws to get away. She tried to take a step but stumbled, crashing down onto her side. Her tail coiled between her legs and she prayed to Arceus for a quick, painless death.
Her eyes were tightly shut, but the sound of electricity sparking above her willed her to peek an eye open.
Rebel stood overtop the Eevee, his tall legs bent as to shelter her away from the threat Reb recognized as the bird with the Gardevoir. His pelt was lively with a Discharge, yellow bursts of light dancing around his body. "I'm gonna warn you once, pal." Reb spat with venom, "Touch her and I'll kill you. Not even a little mercy..."

Inside the Battle Castle | Afternoon
Etincelle 50 | Melanie 59
Inside the Battle Castle | Afternoon
Etincelle 50 | Melanie 59
Etin listens closely for any noise coming from further in the hall. Nothing so far. Maybe there would be something as they went further along and checked but at this fork at least it was clear. The Houndoom doesn't protest so the little Electric Type started to move down the left hall. "Lad, I know we be searching and all, but what happened to Melanie and why can't she see?" He stops dead in his tracks, reliving the memories as if it was happening all over again. The explosion, the screaming, Ven's death, the tunnel, the fire, being carried out to safety, picking glass from Mel's face, the anguish.. Struggling to breathe it takes several moments before he can wheeze out a sentence. "S-she.. There was an.. an accident." His entire head tilts downward but staring at the dusty carpet did not stop the pain from resurfacing. "An.. Umbreon.. A-attacked us while we were in the Cafe. It blasted the w-windows in and Mel was.. right in front of it."
The agonizing mix of Hyper Voice and Echoed Voice beat against his eardrums all over again, Mel's screams and his own cries chiming in. Staccato... The fatherly bird tortures his heartstrings worst of all. "I picked every single fleck of glass out of her," his voice is heavy with defeat, "But the damage was already done." First letting out a soft, long sigh the hound takes in a deep breath to steady himself. Without another response he continues moving, sniffing both the air and the carpet and grimacing at the dusty tinge to everything. "Lad, do you smell something musty in here?" Suppressing a laugh an honest smile spreads from his cheeks. "The entire place is pretty musty but it's definitely stronger down here." A list of scenarios run through his mind. Water damage? Rotten corpses or waste? A nest that had long since been abandoned? "Least it doesn't smell like anything fresh has been around this way."
There was a hollow feeling in the Ninetales chest as she settled beside Mist, her many tails bunching both behind her and around her sides. "Definitely not," Mist's tone was a lot like her own. Clenching her teeth the Ninetales prayed she was not feeling the same way. "and if they do, we'll give them hell." No, unlike her Mist was a fighter to the end and had the strength to back it up. A soft smile spreads across her face, proud to have such a fantastic friend. "I thought you were going with Etin and the others?" They didn't want me. The thought runs through her bitterly. "I was but they thought three would be too many for the small hallways." She lies smoothly but within moments the guilt and shame are too much. Her head tilts away from Mist, sight or not she couldn't look at the snake. "And I might have trouble, you know.. being unable to see."
Chest tightening Mel resists the urge to wail. She didn't want to blind, she didn't want to be useless, and she didn't want to be a bodyguard when she couldn't even protect herself. The blindfold was helping her mentally but emotionally the Ninetales was still a mess. Unable to hold in a sigh she speaks softly, "They think I am useless now." In all honestly they were right. She would die soon enough or get someone killed because she couldn't see. Even her ranged attacks were a liability for her teammates. No matter how much she tried to adjust, or how careful or slow she did things she would never be good enough anymore. For anything. "And they're right.."
