^^ Just getting this started for stuff of mine to be placed. This post will most likely be edited later to look more appealing with a header and what not. There will probably be a number of wips posted on this thread.

I am open to critique on my images which will probably consist of profile images for characters I am planning and possibly commissions in the future.



This is my current project, an undead swoobat

Just a quick colored sketch. I am planning on making the coloration more blotchy and most likely he'll be losing his pupils. XD I think it makes him a bit more foreboding.

That Swoobat is simply awesome

Why thank-you! I am still working on making him look more undead. He has scratches and a bite mark XD but so do many survivors.

His colors are more purple/grey than the average swoobat, but could be pushed further. The splotches will probably help and bloody mouths/claws always seems to as well.

Some big patches of seeping purple discoloration around wounds will really bring out the undead look but it's looking amazing soi far. You have such a nice style.

Thank-you~ owo I really like that idea. I cleaned up the image and applied it to his biggest wound, though I feel I still wanna tweak that and the shading yet.

I've been working on designing a shiny ninetales, I know I don't want to do the traditional shiny ninetales coloration, but I'm divided at what else to have this is one of my ideas:



As I draw more I'll post them. :3 If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them whether they are markings, color combos, or both.

Two more, though I think the orange is my favorite.

I do like the blue, it reminds me of a shiny Zorua, but the orange remains my favorite too. It's genuine foxy colors really suit the ninetails design and the patches of black and white really bring out the mythological basis of the character. It's just my two cents but I would consider removing or reducing the splode of black on the back, leaving just the mane and tails coloration, to better show the curve of the back into the tails. Either way all three designs are very good and could probably be sold for FP *winkwinknudgenudge*

I can definitely see how removing the back blotch added more curve. I had tried simply reducing it, but it didn't fit quite right so I took it off entirely.

That's a great ideas, I don't see myself using the remaining ones anyway~ If other ponies would be interested in them and enjoy using them then it's a win-win.

Oh my gosh, I initially did that one for the lulz, but it is really growing on me.

Meh, mostly got sick of tinkering with it and decided it was done. XD It's much easier to add a background if it is planned to be there from the beginning along with the figure. Ah well, still good practice. ;w; Also, I am very proud of the shading on Katyusha~ That image is going right one her profile page.



It makes me want to complete her profile all the faster vuv but I shall wait. I really want to plan her out before rping with her.

I have been wanting to do something for my birthday in relation to art and EJ, I considered opening more commission slots, some form of special pricing and what not, but in the end I decided to make something that could possibly be used by any one and every one. Also, I love the idea of promoting under-represented species as I do with the design adoptions I offer so I took the same lines from the adoptions and colored them in the default colors. ^^ These three pieces are free to edit and use by any member.

Most likely within the next hour or two I will be live streaming more art. >w>; I am still working out the details of exactly what I am going to draw, there's a solid chance it will be pokemon related. All I know at this point is that I want to practice backgrounds.

Also my partner in crime Anokana will be on the line and there's sure to be some mlp-inspired music and banter about video games.

X3 Thank-you to everyone that came to watch~ I plan to find a way to make the chat stay up while the photoshop window is open >w>; that way there won't be as much back tracking in my comments. I so plan to stream more in the future. Discord needs a ton more shading yet~
