The sun was nothing compared to the glorious being that was the fire moth, the six winged angel of fire gliding effortlessly across the lit sky and blotting out much of the lesser's light. He was greater than the sun, his fires burning with more intensity and more glory than it could ever achieve on this planet. He was it's GOD. His ember scales fell in graceful sparks of fire as he flapped his glorious wings, lighting much of the city beneath him aflame. Yes, the life of a god was glorious.
So as the Sun God flew across his domain a curious sight caught his attention, a white glimmer reflecting the false sun's light back at him. Angered by this defiance he settled on a rooftop nearby to watch a white Umbreon and pathetic little Ralts scavenging. As the white pelt of the moon pokemon kept glinting at him the moth became more and more enraged, furious that this creature would dare prefer the false sun to him. Without warning he unleashed a Bug Buzz, the horrifying high pitched sound filling the streets and causing the pair to wince and writhe in pain, vainly attempting to cover their ears.
Dropping down from the roof he summoned a Flame Wheel and circled the duo, creating a ring of fire before landing in the middle of it. "You..." he chittered noisily, unleashing another Bug Buzz when the Umbreon tried to retaliate. "You dare to defy me?!" Glowing red eyes narrowed at the traitorous vulpine before suddenly the moth was on top of him, biting viciously into his skin with a Bug Bite. The Umbreon was writhing in pain, his dark typing not suited for defense against the bug, and he wrapped his legs around the male before taking off into the air and back to the roof, leaving the Ralts alone.
For now.
Looking at his victim Volcarona felt a sadistic need well up inside him that erupted in the form of a terrible laugh. "Hahaha! You think you are special little white rabbit?" the moth questioned as he gripped the struggling Umbreon in his legs, proboscis poised to strike. "Your freakish color merely made you an easier target!" A loud cackle erupted from Volcarona as he decided to let his victim in on a little secret. "You are no match for the glory of a GOD!" With a wicked gleam in his eyes he sank his sharp mouth into the pathetic creature, listening to it scream and screech in pain as he began to drink from it. He wrapped his wings around his prey, feeling it heat up and the organs beginning to bubble and melt as they too soon slid into his haustellum.
As the ragged pelt went limp, skin barely clinging to bone, he crushed what was left of the bones before letting it drop from the rooftop and setting his sights on the small Ralts. It had been unable to escape his ring of fire and had been burned more than once in his attempts to escape. He laughed as the child saw him coming, once again descending from the roof to land within the middle of the ring. "And what of you?" he queried, not even phased when the child tried to hit him with a Psyshock. "Is that the best you can do?" But when he used a Teleport to escape the fire the Sun God grew furious rather than playful and blasted his Heat Wave, the fires around him increasing the temperature and knocking the Ralts to the ground.
"That," he began, soon looming over the small child, "was a very bad idea." Much as he had with the Umbreon the moth's mouth soon found its way into the writhing body beneath him, unleashing another Heat Wave as he fed. The child's body near melted to the ground and there wasn't much to feed on so soon he had to pull away, looking at only a white stain on the pavement that had once been a Ralts. With his glory now restored he didn't need to worry about these infidels and allowed his massive wings to take him to the sky, ember scales falling onto the bodies of his victims and catching flame before finally sizzling out.
The Sun God was in his domain once more, the skies defiant false sun hiding as it should behind a cover of clouds.
