New Bark Pokecenter \ Late Afternoon \ [54]
"You..." Javolt growls, his ruff of faded golden fur standing on end in spikes as the electricity runs through it.
He does not wince as large crimson drops of his blood roll from his flanks and hit the ground.
"I have given you a task to do." The Manectric growls at the Dewott as he pants for air. "Get the others to safety and then stay out of my way!"
Amongst the pain of the laceration his injured leg is starting to go numb as the flesh tingles with the sensation of pins-and-needles. Soon it may cease to respond to him at all as the muscle is further split by physical exertion. His paws burn with pain and his bones ache. He can feel his breath coming in shuddering gasps as it wheezes from his lungs.
He is too old for his but in his ice blue eyes he can see the darkness of the storm clouds starting to press in. He is too old for this fight but he will never be too old for his duty. He will die here, for a distraction, nothing more.
"It is not your duty to die beside me..." Javolt says under his breath, his voice so soft he doubts that Taki will be able to pick up on the words.
Tiny thunderclouds sparking around his mane discharge minute bolts of static electricity into the aged Manectric's faded fur as he shakily manages to rise to his feet.
With the mingled metallic tastes of blood and electricity in his jaws flickering sparks once again start to play across the Inspector's long yellow fangs as he grits them so tightly a droplet of blood oozes from his gums.
His ice blue eyes focus once again on the hulking figure of the mocking fire type still bloodied with the remains of the Natu.
"Hey Monster, I don't think we're quite done here!" He calls out to the Charizard, hoping to divert it from its current path of destruction.
Despite knowing the futility of such an action the elderly Manectric starts to run again. His paws skitter on the dry ground as he zigzags to avoid being strafed by a burst of searing fire. His jaws drip with the sparks of a Thunder Fang and his ice blue eyes are full of the same foolhardy determination.
If he can land one blow, one scratch on the orange scaled hide, he can rest in peace.
Like the trail of a leaking pen drops of blood mark his footsteps as he sees the foolish criminal dart ahead of him, humming an inane little tune as he charges the Charizard at the Inspector's side.

New Bark|Afternoon(53)
Taki's eyes narrowed as he zoned in on the Charizard. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he remembered his tiny egg brother he never got to meet... His undead heart clenched in his chest at the thought. He looked at the Charizard's death dealing claws and then at Javolt... His injured friend whom he met and helped only wishing to be comrades until Taki's death and even after he would watch over his comrades in the hall of Arceus. Taki knew if he could distract the beast Javolt might have a chance... He rushed at the Charizard and willingly stuck his head out to meet his claws. No pain... No fear...

Re: The NEW BARK Team
Mirror frowned. The Inspector Javolt did not seemed to have understood the Psychic type...he lost some time, but oh well.
Since Taki and Javolt assaulted once again the Fire beast, the Wobbuffet acted as the supporter of the team, using Safe Guard to protect the others.
But that wasn't enough: he needed to act both in defense and offence, so he took action.
The Charizard couldn't dodge the attacks if he couldn't move, right? Taking a quick breath, Mirror jumped in a half-burned bush, activating his Shadow Tag ability to block the Charizard...maybe they could really do it!
He was just supposed to hide, while looking at the dual type...what could go wrong?
(Permission to spot Mirror and slash him away, just don't do permanent damage :3)

Route 27 \ Late Afternoon / (1)
A dark shape cut through the waters of Route 27. The notched dorsal fin and the top part of the thick skulled head with two rounded horns were all that protruded above the water, bright yellow eyes the same shade as the large star like marking at the center of the streamlined snout.
Under the surface the long tail twitched side to side in powerful strokes, cutting through the water. The forearms with their triangular fins pushed the water out and behind as the steel blue scaled dragon cut through the water.
Her body was thick with tough muscles, her spikes long with a vicious hooked curve to them and her sharp-fanged jaws were strong enough to snap bones like twigs.
Bright red scales, less rough than those on her back, lined her stomach and the underside of her jaw in warning colors.
Calm steady breaths were taken in through the concealed nostrils sunken into her angular snout.
Her bright yellow eyes set in dark sockets fixate on the tiny patch of land ahead.
Long has she been swimming without rest and her arms are starting to ache with the effort of keeping herself afloat.
With a deep throated rumble of thunder storm clouds are starting to form, their black bellies already beginning to crackle with electricity. The swimming Garchomp pays them no heed, her deep blue skin proof against the bolts of the sky.
Taking a deep breath she dives, her bright yellow eyes now shifting their focus to the world of churned water around her as she dives downwards. The route's foamy waves in the approaching storm obscure her vision above the water but under it the only distortion is from the twisting currents.
Thunder booms again, the sound muted by the water as the Garchomp opens her blunt jaw wide.
The darting shapes of water type's fill the water, thrashing up foam as they back away from the strange savage intruder in their midst.
All are thin from hunger and pale of flesh, they met her burning yellow gaze with looks of fear but the Garchomp sees no redness in their eyes.
She snaps her jaws shut, a tiny bubble breaking free and floating to the surface before she resumes swimming towards the spur of land.
Slowly the ground starts to slope beneath her as the land slopes downwards into the water.
The sharp clawed feet plant themselves in mud, taking steady steps instead of swimming.
The Garchomp rises from the spread out position of a swimmer to an almost humanoid bipedeal gait. Her legs tense with each step, coiled power lying in the springs of her muscles. Her finned arms come to rest in front of her, the razor claws at their tips pointing upwards.
The notched fin subsides into the water as the nubby horned head rises up, water coursing down the blue scaled hide. The long tail twitches once then is still as the clawed foot pulls intself from the clinging mud and takes a grip on dry loose soil.
Terrar tilts her head towards the horizon, sniffing at the air as her acid yellow eyes detect a shimmer of head haze and the scent of charring wood and plastic meets her nose.
The shark-like dragon raises a lip in disgust at the scent.
Water pools at her feet as it slides from her slick scales, leaving the steel blue scales completely dry. The Garchomp waits a moment for the last trickles of water to drip off her long tail before she sets course for the scent of burning, extending her finned forearms and holding straight her finned tail.
At a speed swift enough to rival a human air plane she flies into the nearby tree cover, the tough edges of her wings cutting through vines and branches either side of her.
She looks around carefully, moving her head from side to side in an attempt to take in all she can of the unfamiliar environment as she flies freely for the feeling of the wind rushing over her scales, choosing to avoid the flaming scent of the human settlement in order to take advantage of her new freedoms.

Re: The NEW BARK Team
Charizard barked out another laugh as the living tried so desperately to regroup and land a blow upon his beautiful body. The best part was the pausing inbetween each attack, the mutt and the vile water type, the way that the Manectric would snarl and snap orders only to be ignored. "That's right! Just keep bickering!" The Harbinger bellowed in infectious joy. But as the otter yelled out some sort of battle cry, the great dragon was ready. What was left of his lips pulling back in pleasure, he snapped out one wing from it's resting place on his body. The massive claw on the end landed perfectly, scraping mercilessly across the water type's face, knocking him away. It was a bonus when the grunt of pain from the blob flew through the air, indicating an unintentional hit on the psychic as well. "Two down..."
"Hey Monster, I don't think we're quite done here!" The Charizard turned to smirk in the direction of the voice, his wings pumped out on both sides of his massive body. "Oh good, I was worried you might have passed out from exhaustion, old man," he taunted cheerfully. But the Manectric was just using the same old technique of zig zagging with bursts of speed. Growling deep in his chest, the Harbinger decided it was time to play dirty. Lifting his head up high in the air, Charizard spewed out massive bursts of flame, the Flamethrower he used and loved changed from a thin stream to a rain of destruction.
The molten fire fell all around the winged lizard's body, setting aflame everything and anything around him. Snapping his wings out once more, the fire was spread out even further, threatening to consume anything within the perimeter.

New Bark Pokecenter / Late Afternoon / [55]
"Arceus above, deliver me from idiots!" Javolt growls, tempted to actually fasten his sparking jaws around the Dewott's arm to see if it will cure his suicidal idiocy. Can't any of these civilians see he's trying to be a distraction?
Blood is rolling down his flanks in bright ruby red drops and his gait is beginning to get clumsier as his leg starts to go numb again. His lungs are burning from so much running and he can feel a deep ache in his heart.
The Charizard's taunt was right, he can't take much more of this before he falls apart but how long could he survive anyway without his leg?
The gleam of the golden badge on his chest reminds him of his duty. He would fight to the last breath to defend the ideals of justice. It was the only way to redeem his sinful past, to correct the mistakes of the corrupt blood flowing like lead in his veins.
"There's still time." He says wryly, managing to twist his jaws into a smile as he tries to force his numb limbs to move faster.
Taki, still eager despite any of the Manectric's barked warnings, dashes ahead of him and suffers a gashing blow from the fire type's clawed wingtip. He falls backwards, collapsing onto the Wobuffet as the Psychic Type fails to heed his orders to flee.
This eyeless thing was playing with them like a cat with a mouse! It knew it was stronger than a foolish young Dewott, a Manectric past his expiry date and a pokemon known for its passive nature and it was toying with them.
Javolt grits his teeth and tries to ignore the burning pain that is slowly creeping up his back and the cold numbness creeping up from his blue paws.
He arrives in the attack too late, seeing the empty rot in the fire type's eye sockets as it tilts its head back towards the darkening sky and once again breathes the harsh corrosive smelling flames from its jaws.
His good eye widens as meteor-like sprays of flame become separate burning embers that fall around him. The bright golden red of fire surrounds him as every patch of vegetation nearby starts to blaze; he can barely see anything through the heat haze and the choking coils of smoke. His scarred and blank eye can see nothing at all but a harsh golden light.
In confusion he barks pitifully, desperate for a soft voice of command from the radio still clipped to his chequered collar. Over the crackling of flame the hiss of static is nearly inaudible.
The scorched bare earth slips under Javolt's paws as even the faint tremors of pain fade from his wounded hind leg and leave it entirely numb and unresponsive. The muscle has been completely severed through by the stress of running; he can't even feel the thick coating of red blood sticking together his faded blue fur. His run is broken into a three legged limp as he tries to maintain his balance and slips.
He falls forwards into a patch of charred grass. Fire runs bright red fingers through the plumes of yellow fur on his injured side as he struggles to stand on three legs with one of them screaming in pain.
Openly panting for air he struggles to rise. His lungs hurt in the parched dried air produced by the nearby flames and the scent of singed hair lets him know his bloodied and useless limb has been caught by the blaze. The Inspector struggles to roll over and extinguish the flames, smearing his own dark blood across the dry ground as the light golden fur on one side of his body is seared to a scorched stubble. His skin is blistered by the heat but he can't feel it at all, only look at the blistering burns forming on his skin.
His leg is completely dead.
The elderly Manectric snaps his jaws angrily as he tries to locate the Charizard through the haze of flame. The fire burns denser here then further along the verge where Taki and Mirror had fallen. He has ended up closer to the heart of the flames than he realized with the lack of speed of his charge and a patch of the flame suddenly resolves itself into something out of a nightmare.
Eyeless sockets and lava dripping jaws are suddenly looming over to him, he has ended up at the charizard's feet!
((OOC: Charizard you have permission to remove the leg or pick him up by it))

New Bark|Afternoon(54)
Taki placed his paw on his face and hissed at the contact with tender flesh and tissue. He traced the bloody gash up and sighed in relief that his eyelid was split but hopefully his eyeball wasn't damaged. To be safe he kept the injured eye closed and got up to assist Mirror. Deep in his mind, he knew Charizard probably stole his sight and half of his face... He couldn't see that direction for one thing not even bloodiness was there... Soon he would need medical attention and there was one person he knew could do it... His mother. Taki wasn't a complete ass to leave them while Charizard was ripping them apart. If he didn't die or if Javolt really wanted him to go then he would go find her to patch his eye up... However the most he expected was a stitch or patch to cover up whatever mess his face was.

Re: The NEW BARK Team
Sadly, the plan failed. Even if the Charizard was eyeless, it somehow managed to see Mirror behind the bush, as it slammed Taki against the blue blob. "Augh!" that quick moan of pain was the only thing he could say in those brief seconds.
Getting up with the aid of the Dewott, he gulped at the look of his wounded eye, but he restrained his fear, even though it was terribly hard. "We can't go on like this, Taki...that Charizard is too strong..." sighing, he looked at Javolt: he kept protecting the others, but he knew nonetheless that he couldn't defeat the Fire Type...he felt a deep sadness in his heart, being more useless than ever.
It was obvious that the Manectric was giving his life for protecting the survivors, to give them time for escaping...but Mirror couldn't run.
The blows inflicted by the Charizard were costing him a lot of time for trying to resist, and it would've looked wrong to just running away and leaving the inspector to death.
The Wobbuffet was crushed. Since the Epidemic began, he never felt this much weight on his body and he never met such a mighty foe. What could they do...?

Re: The NEW BARK Team
The trick worked like a god damned charm. With the obvious sounds of struggle and chaos around him, the Harbinger felt his maw twisting into an even wider smile, alight with dark pleasure. Haulting the jet stream of the infernoraining liquid fire onto the weak souls of those tainted by life, Charizard tossed his head back to it's normal position. He was not tiring or weakening, on the contrary... the Charizard was quite pleased so far. But with the nature of his assault, he had to wait. Wait and see the damage he was causing before acting again.
The perfect scenario presented itself with the body slamming into his leg.
Flicking his lips up with pleasure, the scent of fresh flowing blood and singed fur assaulted his senses. It was just to perfect. "Fall over your own fucking paws, old man?" Charizard sneered. Not awaiting for an awnser from the Manectric, Charizard snaps one thick trunk of a limb out. Gripping a limb blindly, his three talons dug into the soft, weak flesh of a leg. "Teach all of you bitches to be more careful," he growled. Then with a flick of his knee and a cry of pain, the same limb he had gripped was severed. Sounds of tendons and muscle being torn apart was drowned out by the roaring flames around them, but that would do nothing to save the Manectric from feeling it.
"Got any other words before I take another, dog?" the Harbinger asked, drawing his voice out in an almost soothing way as he dropped the limb onto the singed ground.

New Bark Pokecenter / Late Afternoon / [56]
Like a whipped dog Javolt yelps and not from just the pain of taking his leg torn free. The limb is limp and deadened from the deep gashes that must have damaged his spinal cord but from the horrible sensation of even the numbed limb being torn loose from its socket.
The aged Manectric chokes on the smoke that billows across from the rising golden flames as he howls, trying to scrabble forwards as blood oozes sluggishly from the wound and paints a trail of bright red behind him.
One of his hind legs is completely missing and the other is too numbed by the horrific wounds to his back to hold his weight.
Worm-like but determined he crawls along the scorched ground, trying to get far enough away from the Charizard to clamber to his remaining feet.
He only manages to drag himself around in a bloody circle like a pathetic merry-go-round ride.
His blind and scarred eye is an opaque milky white and the other had a pin prick tiny pupil.
He manages to clumsily prop himself up on his forepaws, tongue hanging from the corner of his mouth as he wheezes for breath.
The damn criminal was right, he was getting old.
Sparks of statics splutter into life along his chipped yellow fangs as the aged Manectric spits out a clot of his own dark blood and draws up another Thunder Fang.
He can't run forwards, he can't even walk a straight line and a few hot glowing embers fall into his faded blue fur and scorch his flesh as Inspector Javolt pants for breath.
A dribble of bloodied red saliva oozes from the corner of his mouth as Javolt turns and tries to snap his jaws at the large Charizard in front of him.
No matter how hard he tries to look fierce most of his tail has been broken by the Charizard's grip and gives the impression that he is holding it between his legs.
"Try it!" He barks bravely, the gleam of his golden badge obscured by a smear of blood from his wounded hindquarters.
The soft static hiss of the microphone is completely lost in the crackle of the scorching flames.
As much as his crippling will allow Javolt stands tall, knowing from the wall of billowing fire that is licking around them that an attempt to flee would be met by a burst of fire strong enough to melt his body into a pile of fleshy slag but besides he would never consider fleeing.
He would face this threat until his death and without fear. Never show criminals fear.
A string of bloodied saliva oozing from the corners of his pale furred mouth, the entirety of his back held together with scar tissue and not much else Javolt manages to stand his ground as he lunges clumsily forwards with his jaws sparking in a Thunder Fang attack.

Taki bared his small fangs and charged up Water Pulse. He doused the flames around Javolt to small embers before turning to Mirror. Mirror... Under the Pokemon Lab is my hideout. Go there and you'll be safe I promise Taki whistled to the sky and grinned as a Fearow broke the treeline to land next to him. He plucked a worm from the ground tossing it into the bird's beak. Taki saluted Javolt even if he could not see him and placed his paw on Mirror's chest. May you both be smiled upon and forever in Arceus's favor He jumped on the Fearow's back and pointed skyward. The bird flapped its mighty wings propelling it into the sky and away. Taki wiped his good eye free of tears and grinned back at his brothers. We will meet again...

Re: The NEW BARK Team
"Mirror... Under the Pokemon Lab is my hideout. Go there and you'll be safe I promise." the Wobbuffet turned, confused to hear Taki's voice. He never spoke about the hideout, and the blue blob never saw it.
Thinking about it, he turned to see Javotl, who was still fighting the gigantic beast, despite his pitiful conditions.
Gulping, the Psychic type faced the Infected again, asking for a better ubication of his safehouse. "B-But Taki...your hideout is under the Lab, but where exa--" alas, it was too late. Mirror froze in desperation as he saw his companion flying away on a Fearow's back, saluting him. This was no good.
Glomping, he moved as sneakily as he could behind the Charizard, praying to Arceus in his head every time he heard the powerful strikes of the Inspector Javolt and the fire goliath. Looking around, he quickly got inside the Poke Lab, making sure not to slip due the massive amount of ruins around the place. More noise came from outside, and this only augmented the fear of the Wobbuffet, who started sweating heavily while searching for any kind of secret passage around the place.
But he couldn't find it anywhere. Taki was far too generic about the indications and Mirror's hurry did not help, either. Oh no, no, no, please! I beg you, let me find any kind of passage...a...a hole, too! Even an hole would be great! Please!
The Patient Pokemon was far from patient now. Where could he find a good shelter in such a critical situation?

Re: The NEW BARK Team
It was such a pitiful sight. The once, obviously proud canine dumped down on his bloody hide, one leg ripped forcefully from the socket, and laying like an untainted corpse down on the ground. It was nothing short of a god damn party for the Harbinger. He barked out a deep bellow of laughter. "Fallen on the times, old man!" he taunts, recieving a spitted response from the canine. "More fucking like it," he growled, all traces of humor ripped from his socketless eyes.
Charizard heard the grunts of effort for a time, but he didn't move. This old shit won't just lay down and die. I can have some fun with this. But, for one of the rare times, the Harbinger was acting out of character. Thinking was not his forte. No, acting and reacting was. Movement. Brute strength. And so, of course, the first time he really distracted himself within his own head, his prey strikes. Jaws clamped around the right bloodied and burned stump left of an arm. Charizard roared with rage, even more furious that he allowed himself to not notice the Manectric staning on three flimsy legs.
"HOW DARE YOU, NAVE!" the Harbinger fumed, his voice nothing short of a monsterous bellow. Smacking out with his wing, he slams the body of the canine away, still spitting with fury, the anger reaching within the Charizard as flames dripped unintentionally from his jaws. You do not TOUCH me!" he screeched, tone becoming near shrill with the shame burning a pit of hell's fire within him. This one would not get away. It would die.

New Bark Pokecenter / Late Afternoon / [57]
Javolt whimpers, dark corrupt blood from his bite oozing from between his furred jaws as he feels his rib age pop from the force of the blow.
For a moment his vision blurs and he fears he is going to pass out.
A halo of blazing heat surrounds him, the glowing flames still burning brightly. He doesn't have the speed to leap through them without scorching himself. Instead the aged canine stands defiant in the face of the flames and unable to think of a proper taunt merely barks at the shadowed shape of the Charizard, now some distance away from him from the solid blow it has landed on his gut.
Javolt spits out the small dribble of the creature's blood he has managed to draw and has to pause to draw in a lungful of the crisp dry air and cough.
Damn it. Damn it all.
The police Manectric manages to clamber to his remaining legs and finds to his disgust his skinny legs are trembling.
"Come on." He growls at himself under his breath. Wasn't this the reason he left that damn human house in the first place, to die in duty instead of as some soppy house pet?
His own blood matting his pale blue fur with red Javolt chokes on the acrid fumes the flames put forth and spits blood onto the ground.
One last time...one last time.
His golden shield shape badge gleams as he looks fondly down on it.
The symbol of the law...Justice was immutable and unforgiving. He would be the same.
Javolt tenderly licks the black and white patterned cloth around his neck. Even though its taste has been tainted by smoke and his own blood he can still faintly taste the familiar trace of his trainer.
The microphone on his collar merely hisses and spits with white noise rather than reassuring orders he can follow but the elderly electric type breathes deeply, feeling that his trainer is right there beside him.
Criminals go to JUSTICE.
The flames around him hiss and die and he sees the Dewott Taki leave on the brown-feathered back of a large Fearow. He has gotten out of it but with an uncharacteristic twinge of emotion Javolt isn't sure whether or not that is a good thing or a bad one.
He can't see the Wobuffet anymore, then again he can't see much through the flames. Hopefully the Psychic has taken his advice and fled.
Tentatively stepping from the circle of wet ashes where as a last parting fit Taki has extinguished the blaze around him, Javolt decides the best thing to do now is try to lead the Charizard away from where the Wobuffet was seeking shelter.
Shakily Javolt turns tail and starts to run.
((OOC: Permission to stop Javolt is given))

Re: The NEW BARK Team
Oh. Oh NO he didn't. The Charizard heard no rebuttle back from the sharp tounged dog. Instead there was nothing more than the grunts of standing on his paws. But that time Charizard was not fooling around, lost in his own head; no, that time the Harbiner was able to hear the panted words. The dragon snarled, "What the hell do you think you are doing?!" all too late, though, as the sounds of unsteady pawsteps were already hitting the dragon's senses.
But catching on quickly, Charizard tossed back his head to a fearsome roar. "Oh NO you DON'T!" the Harbinger let loose another bellow of fire as he took to the air instantaneously, his massive wings giving way to such a massive gust of air, the flames around his body flashed out. However, the smoldering embers also took to the thick, smoke laiden air, and started small, new fires where they lay.
All in all... pure destruction.
It did not even take enough heart beats to count before the duel type had overtaken the old dog. He slammed down onto the ground, smashing his tail down before his legs. The thick, powerful limb made contact, yet again, with the Manectric's body. The Harbinger stood over the fallen canine, spitting with fury. "Now you are REALLY starting to piss me off." Even before he finished speaking, molten fire began dripping from his decayed jaws, giving warning to a building Flamethrower.

The Manectric yelps in pain as his old body bounces on the hard ground. It feels like his ribs have cracked!
His legs tremble as he struggles to get to his feet, what strength is left in his body draining away fast.
A long bloody red smear marks where his body has skidded across the baked ground from the force of the blow.
Growling violently he tries to get to his feet, to draw the Charizard further away but his legs are failing him.
He can barely manage to stand, let alone show enough speed to avoid the searing hot thermic lance of flame he could see building between the Charizard's jaws.
His fur starts to crackle with sparks, the crisp taste of static filling the air around him and the aged Manectric puts all the power he can into his skin.
Fat sparks of electricity drip from his pointed mane as the current stiffens each hair to a needle like point. The flow of electricity through him makes his heart beat faster, red blood pumping vigorously from his wound as the Electric Type determinedly plunges forwards with his jaws held wide.
Current crackles in his fur as he determinedly manages to lurch forwards.
"That's the idea shit-face." He barks, feeling the crude words are against his usual character but should be an effective enough taunt to keep attention focused on him.
His near useless back leg dragging behind him Javolt tries to dodge the blow the only way he can think how, lunging forwards at his opponent in a desperate hope the hulking corpse will either leap aside and interrupt the build of flame or be struck by his spark infused fur and harm itself in an attempt to scorch him.
The chessboard patterned cloth around his neck stained with his own sweat and blood the Electric Type forces himself forwards, gritting his teeth against the pain.
His golden badge no longer shines...

Re: The NEW BARK Team
The old dog had more fight in him than anticipated. In the moment Charizard’s flamethrower was destined to spring ferociously from his jaws, the canine lunged for him. He gave a bellowing roar as the electricity raced over his decaying form, the pain significantly numbed in his state yet enough to deter the burst of flames. Angered and humiliated, Charizard launched himself into the sky with several beats of powerful wings, snarling obscenities in his escape of the sparks.
“How DARE you!” He roared from above, spitting fire in his rage. “You will PAY for THAT, mutt!”
Charizard, although not much of a strategist wanted to hurt this damned hound. It clearly had no regard for its safety with a stubborn determination that was beginning to grate on the Harbinger’s patience. This was becoming plain annoying now. But Charizard saw a new opportunity. The dog fought not for himself but to protect his friend.
Sending a burst of fire towards the canine below as a distraction, the Harbinger had set his sights on the clueless Wobbuffet. Oh you WILL pay – with your friend’s blood!
“Enjoy this,” He snarled from afar, swooping towards the panicked psychic to clamp powerful, flaming jaws around the creature’s throat. It gave a terrible scream of terror, crushed as the dragon landed roughly atop its fragile body. Bones snapped on contact, blood dribbling down its form as the flames ensnared both attacker and victim. Charizard cackled victoriously as he proceeded to ruthlessly slash and tear at the Wobbuffet, relishing in each frenzied cry of agony.
It had happened so quickly. One moment the horrifying dragon had slammed into his prey, the next, all that remained was blood, guts and an unrecognisable, shredded corpse. Charizard gave a blood-curdling roar of triumph, his entire macabre from coated in fresh blood as molten fire dripped from his jaws to splash on the slow-burning remains. The smell was [i]glorious.
Turning to the Manectric, his blood-smeared face contorted into a cruel and challenging grin, Charizard approached.
“Did THAT hurt?” Charizard sneered happily, slowly advancing. “You’re next…”

New Bark Pokecenter / Late Afternoon / [59]
Blood gleaming darkly against his shaggy yellow-furred mane the Electric Type throws his head backwards and howls.
Bloodied saliva drips down his jaws as his light blue eyes become as cold and hard as twin slithers of ice.
His jaws snaps as sparks crawl in his coat and shimmer around his dagger-like fangs. His black gums gleam wetly with saliva and blood.
No surrender, no retreat.
He would die to make sure this dragon did not leave the earth again. His checkered collar and bright badge are entirely coated by his oozing blood right now, with each breath Javolt's body became more red than blue and yellow. The static hiss of the microphone blends in with the canine's ragged breathing.
Even the sight in his one good eye has started to fade as the blood dribbles into it.
Moving at a pathetic mockery of his earlier speed the Electric Type leaps forwards, hobbling awkwardly on his missing leg as red paints a trail behind him.
Gasping for breath the officer's face is completely feral as his own blood drips from his teeth.
Mirror was innocent, not really a friend because it would not do for an Officer to befriend a Civilian but none the less under Javolt's protection.
"Raaaargh!" He barks aggressively, static charge making his fur stand on end almost like that of a Jolteon as he clumsily charges for the Charizard. His jaws are agape, red flowing across his black gums and dripping to the ground, whatever plan the canine may have had lost in his anger.
Against human opponents this anger made him dangerous, the Electric type would hunt them down and drag them back to justice regardless of the scars they inflicted on him with their short blades but against the large decaying fire type his intimidating pose was, like the rest of him, just past his prime.
Barking and growling like a wild animal Javolt bites his collar, severing the collar of checked material.
The badge of gold bounces on the ground, rolling a fraction. The golden metal it is made of gleams in the firelight underneath where his blood was smeared.
Javolt couldn't bear to have the symbol of the law dirtied by the actions he was going to take.
The yellow tufts of fur around his forelegs stiffen with electricity as Javolt braces himself for what is probably the last thing he'll ever do.
Forming a powerful Thunder Fang with all the energy he could muster the lame Manectic growls angrily and leaps for the Charizard's throat.

Re: The NEW BARK Team
Charizard could see he’d definitely hit a nerve, his plan completely successful as the enraged hound came barrelling towards him. The harbinger merely laughed, the noise a sinister, throaty guffaw as the Manectric leapt at him. Charizard moved quickly, suddenly dodging so that the canine’s fangs came clamping down on the top of his wing rather than his rotting throat. It hurt, of course, but pain had become an almost refreshing sensation. The electricity was a cruel tickle, injecting new life into the decaying behemoth.
“You’re getting tired,” Charizard sneered darkly, raising his bloodied wing to leave the canine dangling. He took a moment to observe the electric-type’s battered form like a piece of meat, his victim radiating fury to an extremity where the harbinger knew it would soon be lost.
Flaring out his wings in one powerful motion, the harbinger forcefully freed himself from the stubborn canine to send the creature flying to one side. Charizard shook his head disdainfully, a final spark running up his spine to remind him that he had something the old dog would never have, the last laugh.
“You’ve put up a good fight, mutt,” The dragon grinned, lumbering towards the hound with ground-shaking steps. His tail swung threateningly behind him, the flame at its tip flaring to monstrous levels as he approached. “But you are WEAK. You will ALWAYS be weak,”
The harbinger stopped just before the Manectric, triumphant smirk contrasting against the dangerous glint in his dead eyes. Molten fire continued to drip from his agape jaws as he tauntingly kicked the fallen creature, daring him to get back up one last time.
“I’m going to kill you,” Charizard growled, stepping on one of the mutt’s legs to keep him in place. He would not escape this time. “Any last words?”

New Bark Pokecenter / Late Afternoon / [60]
Arceus, it hurt. He could barely breathe as his blood pooled around him. Most of his body was numb, his legs he couldn't feel at all, but his lungs burned with the corrupt air he had breathed in.
He didn't even have the energy to causes his fur to spark any more, the light blue muddied by blood and ash and stuck close to his skin with sweat.
The collar around his neck was no longer black and white but black and red from his slowly congealing wounds.
Each breath is becoming harder and harder for the electric canine.
Had that last throw broken a rib?
Inspector Javolt's scarred feet twitch pathetically as the Charizard's clawed foot crashes down on him and keeps him pinned to the ground. Arceus above how that hurt, equally parts the pain of the pressure on his shattered ribs and the burning bile of shameful defeat.
He doesn't even have the energy to fully raise his head as he glares upwards with ice cold eyes, knowing that the fire type with its empty eye sockets can't see the venom in his gaze.
This was the end, he can't even bring spark to his fur to try and paralyze his captor in his final dying moments.
Flames lick along the floor from the earlier fire attacks, rising in dark columns to the sky as thunderclouds boil. Soon it will start to rain.
This was the funeral pyre for the sad tattered lumps of torn meat killed by the Charizard and the Manectric soon to join them.
His breath rasps from his black gummed mouth as the canine officer struggles to breathe.
The hiss of the microphone sounds loudly in his ears, nearly blotting out the last menacing words from the Charizard's lava dripping jaws.
Where was his badge? Firelight flickers over the small disk of gold as it lies discarded in a puddle of his own blood some distance from his body.
Officer Javolt coughs, a dribble of red oozing over his yellowed fangs as he struggles in vain to raise his head.
A strange little tune, words he had once heard said, spins in his head as with his dying spasms his mind begins to drift away from his body.
He knows his way in the dark
Mine is the way of the Lord
And those who follow the path of the righteous
Shall have their reward
And if they fall
As Lucifer fell
The flame
The sword!
With a choking gasps he struggles to answer the Charizard's question.
Surrounded by the boiling flames it looks to Javolt like some demon from the deepest pit ready to drag him off to eternal punishment. All because he was not strong enough, he had failed. Now here came his punishment...
"S-See you in hell." Javolt defiantly growls.

Re: The NEW BARK Team
With those four final words from the dying hound, Charizard gave a triumphant, bellowing laugh. He was victorious; the champion, the superior, in this cruel game. To think a mere dog could defeat one of his powers was ludicrous, laughable, as the Harbinger clamped his jaws around the Manectric’s throat. The blood dribbled down his chin as the pressure increased, flames continuing to drip over the canine’s limp form until the life left his victim altogether in a generous, crimson pool. The canine was dead.
Lifting his head high, proud grin etched across his bloodied features, Charizard emitted a feral roar that shook his surroundings – a reminder that he was the one to be feared. Nobody could defeat him and it was a fact that rest of the world would benefit to learn. He was the hunter, the killer in this equation and with the old dog lying stone-cold dead at his feet, Charizard was keen to find his next victim. The Manectric had put up a good fight, a stubborn bastard, but now the fun was over and there was no further reason to stay.
Trudging away from the gory sight, the terrifying Harbinger smiled to himself as he took off into the skies, victorious.
