((Didn't realize it was my turn already. Please skip. Other then acknowledging the Chikorita, there is really nothing for Jiru to do until the others get back.))

Jiru kept his gaze on the Scraggy, his fangs clenched as he waited for them to make there next move.
The Dragonair hadn't moved since she arrived, and the little Chikarita had yet to use any attack, it just waited like the others.
Come on, attack, or I will, he thought to himself as his tail swayed, its flame flickering, showing how eager he was to start this fight.

Thoughts raced through Raz's head, what should he do. Should he attack the Scraggy first or should he let the Charmeleon. If only the undead weren't mindless eating machines maybe he could do some reasoning. I know it might hurt to try, Raz thought, But I should.

Raz stood in front of the Charmeleon and used Razor Leaf, not trying to hard so he can have some help. And he wasn't that strong.


((OoC: Sorry for the late post, I thought it was Blitzstrike's turn because she was out of the SH for a time.))

Both Scraggy had fled, though he was sure it wasn't from the Chikorita's Razor Leaf, they probably got tired of them cause they weren't giving them what they wanted.
He turned to the Dragonair and Chikorita, "Thank you." He said before sitting down. He had hardly rested all night, and now all his friends where gone like the wind. Things couldn't possible get any worse could they?
Jiru really shouldn't say that, they normally did get worse right after someone said that.

"I'm Shinjiru, though everyone just calls me Jiru for short." He said as he turned his attention back to the other pokemon with him. "What are your names, and how did you get here?"
It was obvious how the Dragonair got here, simply by flying, but he wanted to know how the Chikorita had gotten here, and also why they where here.

Apparently Raz was stronger than he looked because one hit of Razor Leaf made the Scraggy flee. Ha! That's what you get! Raz thought to himself. Then the Charmeleon turned and said, "Thank you." and then sat down and asked, "What are your names, and how did you get here?" to Raz and the Dragonair. Well, I'm Raz. I got here because I was chased into the water and I couldn't go back. Suddenly, the Dragonair just...left. Bye. I'm sorry I didn't get to know you better. Raz thought. Raz finally looked at Jiru, he had an X-shaped scar-like thing on his face and three beautiful neclaces.

How did you get those necklaces and how did you get here, you are a fire type right? Raz asked. Raz felt a good sensation that he was making the right choice being friends with the Pokemon. He might actually evolve soon. Also how and when did you evolve, Jiru?

"Well, I'm Raz. I got here because I was chased into the water and I couldn't go back." The Chikorita, Raz, said. They didn't get a name from the Dragonair, as she had left before giving them one. As though she had only shown up to scare away those Scraggy.
"How did you get those necklaces and how did you get here, you are a fire type right?" Raz asked, and the Charmeleons attention was turned once again to the grass starter. "Also how and when did you evolve, Jiru?"
Jiru raised a claw and held all his charms in the palm of his hand. "I got the bell and feather from Lugias chamber, and the flute was given to me by Meloetta herself." He said as he looked at them. All these items where from legends, the feather used to be apart of Lugia, and the bell was once used to summon it. How amazing it would be to meet the real Lugia.
"As to when I evolved, It happened on this island awhile ago when me and a few others where fighting a bunch of undead. And I drifted here on a piece of driftwood."

Lugia! Meloetta! They were here! Raz thought. Lugia, he lives on the islands right? Also those Feathers and that Bell can help summon him, right. We should go to the Chamber, summon Lugia, and ask him about the undead. He exclaimed. "As to when I evolved, It happened on this island awhile ago when me and a few others where fighting a bunch of undead. And I drifted here on a piece of driftwood." Jiru said. A piece of driftwood? The Chikorita was confused and jealous because a piece of driftwood, and Raz had to swim? That lucky bastard.

Raz can think of it now, He a Chikorita, and Jiru a Charmeleon finding the cure to the undead disease. Hopefully on the journey Raz evolves because he is tired of cowering behind stronger Pokemon and watching them be killed horribly. UNDEAD! Wait there were undead on the island?!?!?! Well, other than the Scraggy.

"Lugia, he lives on the islands right? Also those Feathers and that Bell can help summon him, right. We should go to the Chamber, summon Lugia, and ask him about the undead." Raz said, and Jiru almost hated to tell him that was impossible.
"Sorry Raz, but that's not going to work." Jiru said as he raised the bell and gave it a shake. The small bell made no sound, as if the little ball within was no longer there. "I was already in the chamber remember. Don't you think I would have tried that." He hoped he didn't sound to rude when he said that. He didn't want to make another sad.

The only thing Jiru really wanted to do was get off this god forsaken island. It held to many horrible memories for him, and he watched to many of his friends die and go missing here.
"UNDEAD! Wait there were undead on the island?!?!?! Well, other than the Scraggy." When Raz shouted undead, Jiru almost jumped. He thought real undead where attacking, but it seemed he simply shouted it for nothing.
"He, there are undead here, like there are undead everywhere." The fire type stated as he looked at the grass type with an annoyed look. "And I really don't want to fight anymore undead right now. My only goal is evolving into a Charizard so I can fly away from these damn islands."

Jiru really didn't want to stay on the whirl islands any longer then he had to. "Lets just rest for now, then find out what to do later." He said before getting up and walking over to a dry part of the cave where he could rest.
The Charmeleon hoped they wouldn't get attacked while they rested. That would really ruin the fire types day.

"Lets just rest for now, then find out what to do later." Jiru said. The Raz was tired but he was very hungry...very hungry. So as the Charmeleon went to sleep, Raz went to the waters edge. He decided to eat oyster meat, but to him it tasted like crap raw. Hopefully I don't get sick. the Chikorita thought. But soon he pushed away the thought because he was starving. He wasn't to loud, splashing in the water, because way far off in the distance he saw some water types and they could be undead. After a hearty meal of raw oyster meat, Raz lied down next to Jiru to feel safe, and stood guard. Soon, though, he dozed off.

Jiru let out a yawn as he woke from rest to Raz being curled up next to him. He wondered if the grass type had heard of personal space, though he didn't blame him if he was scared to sleep alone.
Letting out another yawn, and raising his arms in a stretch he stood up to look out at the sky. It seemed they hadn't been sleeping long. Maybe a little past noon now.
Though time really didn't matter when you where stuck on a set of islands with no way off. And even if Jiru could get in the water, how would he be able to get past the whirlpools that raged around these islands. They weren't called the 'Whirl Islands' for nothing.
Jiru looked over his shoulder at Raz. The smaller pokemon had to be a strong swimmer to have been able to get past them, or maybe he was just lucky and managed not to get sucked into there vortex.

He waited a little longer before asking the Chikorita what he wanted to go. "Hey Raz, now they we have had our rest, what do you plan to do?" Jiru asked as he looked at the grass type. "You can stay on this island, or you can help me find a way off. Its your choice."
He hoped he wasn't being to forceful with the question. He really didn't care what the little pokemon's answer was. If he wanted to stay and train, then he was on his own, but if he wanted to help Jiru get off, then the fire type had a new companion.

Raz was awoken quite calmly by the Charmeleon yawning and stretching. So, Raz did the basic morning routine, sat up, stretched, then yawned. "Hey Raz, now that we have had our rest, what do you plan to do? You can stay on this island, or you can help me find a way off. Its your choice."said Jiru. Yeah sure, I'll help, the Chikorita exclaimed, I didn't even want to come here, I was actually headed to a city I heard about called Cianwood City, but I saw the islands here and I needed a break from swimming. Oh! In case your wondering, which I know you are, I climbed over the rocks surrounding the islands. That's how I got here. Raz had an Idea forming in his head on how to get off this island, without hurting the fire type, he could use his move Razor Leaf, and "float" Jiru over to the rocks and from there they can think of another plan.

Raz explained the plan to Jiru thinking it was stupider and stupider as he said it. I hope he likes it, Raz thought, because I don't.

"That is the stupidest idea I ever heard." Jiru said, knowing full well that there was no way that idea was going to work. And if it did, they would just be stranding themselves on the outer rocks, and the Charmeleon would rather be stuck on the islands then on the rocks.
The fire type hoped he didn't hurt the grass type by saying his idea was stupid, even though it was. There had to be better plans then that one. Maybe as a last resort, but he hoped it wouldn't come to that.

He really hated it, but they probably had to go back into the caves, and maybe if Jiru was lucky, he could fight more undead and reach the next level, and evolve.
If Jiru evolved, he would have wings, and then it would make getting off these islands so much easier. He would ask to train with Raz, but him being a fire type, he really didn't want to harm the grass type with his flames.
"I'm going to find a better place, one that's bigger then this ocean view cave." Jiru said as he started walking toward the cave he came in from.

Raz was cheerful that Jiru said no because if he'd said yes then what if Raz wasn't strong enough, Jiru would die in the water all because of him. So...what will you do after you evolve, I know what I'll do, nothing. Raz said to the fire type who is bound to evolve soon. Raz thought a bout it...him being a Meganium, oh good thoughts. But, of course good thoughts never last too long because seconds later...Oh no. Raz said as he looked at the entrance to the cave. An Onix with blood everywhere and purple markings...AN UNDEAD!

Jiru let out a growl as he saw the large rock snake slither out of the cave he was about to enter, its large rocky head held high as it looked at Jiru and Raz, as though wondering which one of them it should eat first.
"This is just great." He growled, anger flickering in his eyes. "Will the fighting ever end?" He added as he backed away, knowing full well that he wasn't much of a match against the rock type.
The only one out of the two that would stand a chance was the Chikorita, who was a grass type. But did the little guy have enough power to take it down? "Well Raz, looks like we are in deep trouble here." He said, hoping that the Onyx was at a low level to make it an even fight between them. He only hoped.

((So sorry for the late post. My computer is started to bug out on me again. I'm thinking about just tossing it and buying a new one. Again, sorry.))

The Onix soared high above them. It was like looking at a sky-scraper. "Well Raz, looks like we are in deep trouble here." Jiru said. Not if I can help it. Raz said triumphantly. Raz used Razor Leaf on the beast as Jiru backed away. Then the Onix used Rock Throw which hit Raz pretty hard. Focus Raz, you fought many Onix's, this is just like them. Raz then had the next move but the Onix tried to jab at him. When the Onix was close enough, Raz hopped on. The Onix shook rapidly, but he hung on, then used Poison Powder. The beast finally shook him off and tried to Tackle him, so Raz dodged it. He saw the Onix get hurt by the poison. Raz then used Razor Leaf again and the Onix lay dead.

Raz turned, surprised in himself, and gave Jiru a smug look. Then he felt something, What is this feeling...It feels extraordinary! Then a blinding light engulfed the Chikorita and he felt...powerful

Jiru watched as the Chikorita took down the larger pokemon with strong grass attack, and to be reworded with evolution. "Nice work Raz." He said as he walked over to the newly evolved Bayleef.
Looking over to the now dead Onyx, his face was uncertain as though it was going to get up and attack them again, though its head had been severely damaged, so it wasn't getting up again anytime soon. "We better get moving before more show up." The Charmeleon added and started walking to the cave entrance again.
Jiru stood outside it for a few moments, reluctant to go back into the dark depths of the whirl islands, but they had to if they wanted to get out soon.

Taking one more glance at the outside Jiru ventured into the cave, looking over his shoulder a few times to see if Raz was following him. He probably would have liked it if he had stayed a Chikorita just a little longer, that way he would be easier to carry once the Charmeleon became a Charizard.
Letting out a long sigh he continued on through the caves, the flame on his tail providing the only light in the cave, which was both a good and bad thing.
The good thing was that it gave them some light, the bad new was that it could attract any undead in the cave that saw it. Oh how he wished he could turn off his flame sometimes.
"Raz, try and stay close. Who know's what could be lurking around in here." Jiru said, looking over his shoulder to the Bayleef.

As a Bayleef, Raz felt like he could do anyhting. But...the thing he did first was follow Jiru into the cave. He started jumping/trotting/skipping with Jiru, but stopped suddenly at the feeling of being watched. Raz turned around to see two undead Scraggy, the same ones as before! Jiru! Jiru! Look, Look It's the Scraggy Again! The Ones From Before! Raz shouted. As Jiru turned around the Scraggy jumped behind a rock. Jiru looked at Raz with a dissapointed look, then continued walking. I swear I saw 2 scraggy with blood dripping from themselves. They were holding hands and they were in staliking position. the Bayleef thought, THE BLOOD! The blood must still be there. Jiru, umm can you follow me real quick? Raz asked.

(Had permission from Darastrix to have the Deeds use Faint Attack on Jiru to initiate a battle.)

Jiru had that strange feeling that they were being followed, though he continued to walk despite the feeling. If anything was following them it was probably one of the infected or undead, drawn to them by the light from his flame.
"Jiru! Jiru! Look, Look It's the Scraggy Again! The Ones From Before!" Raz shouted, and Jiru looked to where he was pointing, but there was no one there. Could the Beyleef have imagined seeing them? Or where they duo back?
"Keep your guard up." Jiru said as he continued on, though Raz looked as though he thought the Charmeleon didn't believe him.
"Jiru, umm can you follow me real quick?" Raz asked, and Jiru simply rolled his eyes and nodded, though it didn't take long before he felt something hit him from behind, causing him to fall to one nee.

Jiru looked over his shoulder to see what hit him, only to see the infected duo really where back. He let out a growl as he got to hid feet again and turned to face them.
"Talk about clueless!" One of them said as they laughed. Jiru simply stared at him, a flicker of annoyance in his eyes. These guys where probably going to be a problem just like that clown. Oh dear legends he hoped not. Last thing he needed was more frustrating idiots.

One of the Scraggy had jumped onto the shoulders of the other, trying to make them selves look taller he guessed. "What do you want!?" He growled at them, baring his fangs, and his flame flickering in anger.
Did they want a battle? If they did they sure got one cause no matter what they said he was going to rip them apart.

Raz kept going to the blood marks hoping Jiru hadn't ditched him. When he got to the spot the Scraggy were standing, there was still blood stains. Yes, thought Raz, Yes yes yes yes yes yes! He was so excited he wasn't hallucinating. Suddenly, he heard this wicked laugh, which was even scarier in a cave. He quickly turned around to see one Scraggy standing on the other. Jiru's tail was flaring and flickering wildly,did Raz miss something? Raz ran up to assist Jiru, I'll take one you take the other, alright. Raz fell to the ground.
