History | Kide was still just an egg when he came to Johto. He was the prize for a carnival that had come to Mahogany Town for a few days in hope of expanding there range of entertainment. He was the first place prize for the pokemon tournament being held at the time. After a close match in the final round, he was eventually won by a little girl about 12 years old named Kari. She had taken good care of him when he was still an egg, waiting for the little pokemon inside to come out ever so eagerly and see the world. She didn’t know what kind of pokemon was inside it, as it was a surprise. She never left its side, the anticipation to see what would come out overbearing. She took it almost everywhere she went, and keeping it in her old baby carriage with a bunch of blankets to keep it warm at night and days she was out. Then the time finally came when little Kide hatched into a young Zorua. She named him Kide cause she always wanted a little brother with that name. And now she finally did. She treated him like family. Like a younger brother then a pokemon. At times Kide would even use his Illusions to turn into a little boy for her, which was a dead giveaway that he was indeed a boy. One day Kari decided to try and enter the Johto league with Kide by her side. It took a lot of begging before her parents finally said it was ok so long as she was careful. So Kari and Kide, along with her other pokemon, set out to enter the Johto League. Unknowing on what is going on right in front of their eyes. They did a lot of training on the road to get themselves ready for the first gym. They wanted to be ready for the challenge ahead. It was tough, but they manage to get there first badge at the Ecruteak Gym rather easy, mostly because of Kide and his dark typing against the gyms ghost types. The battle in Olivine was more tough, seeing as she didn’t have a fire type, but somehow they managed to pull through, though that was going to Kide and Kari’s last battle together. They were on a ship bound for Cianwood City to take on their gym. Kari was at the front of the ship looking out at the passing Whirl Islands, the said it was home of the legendary pokemon Lugia. Kide was sitting on the handrail while he listened to Kari talked about how she wants to meet the lord of the sea. Kide always knew that Kari loved Lugia. At there home, she had this stuffed Lugia that she would always sleep with. She decided to leave it at home to look after her room while she traveled the world. They could finally see the outline of the island that Cianwood City was on, when they came. The ship they were on started to rock back and forth like they were in a storm, yet the sky had not a single cloud. Kari held onto the rail with both her hands as the ship started to tip. Kide managed to look over at the water to see what was going on, only to see a huge sea of red. Kide could also start to smell the sent of decay mixed in with the salty sea breeze. Then there was a huge crack, and the ship broke in two. Both Kide and his trainer were sent hurtling into the water. That’s were He got a look at what was happening. A swarm of Tentacruel and maybe one or two Gyarados had been causing the ship to sink. They didn’t look like their normal selves ether, they were covered in blood and the Tentacruels gems were broken and leaking something unnatural. It was then Kide started to realize he lost track of his trainer. Kari was no were to be seen. Kide was about to make his way to the surface when something hit him in the back of the head, a piece of the sinking ship, and he blacked out. Kide finally came too on a beach. His head hurt him like crazy, but he seemed to be unharmed. He coughed up a mouthful of seawater and stood up on his wobbly legs. His eyelids felt like anchors but he managed to keep them open to have a look around. He seemed to have landed on Cianwood Cities beach. Then everything that happened came flooding back, the ship sinking, the horrible looking pokemon that sunk it, and his trainer, no were to be seen. Kide looked around the beach to see if anyone else made it, but there was nothing but driftwood from the wreck. He seemed to be the only survivor that made it to Cianwood City. Kide turned and looked out at the sea. Hoping to spot the bobbing head of his trainer as she swam to the shore, but nothing. Kide sat there on the beach for a few hours, waiting for something other then wood to drift onto the shore, but again, nothing. He let out a sigh, thinking maybe she drifted onto whirl islands, or somehow drifted back to Olivine city. Either way, she was gone, and his chances of finding her where slim to none. The thing he could do was try and find out what was really going on and why those pokemon looked the way they did. |
Appearance | Kide has the apearence of a normal Zorua. |
Personality | Kide likes to hide his loneliness behind a smile. He likes to have fun, he enjoys getting chased by the undead as if it was some sort of game that he always wins. When alone, his true self comes out and he feels sadness at the loss of his trainer as friends, hoping to see them someday, but if he feels hes being watched he will continue to hid it all behind a smile and tricks. |
User Notes | -Has a bad habit of taken on opponents far bigger then himself. -He hates being treated like a weakling. -Prefers to stay on his own, but knows there’s safety in numbers. -Sent to Sinnoh by means of Mewtwo's Psychic freak out. |
