Level cap and evolutions

Okay, so I was thinking of making a Deino character, but I was considering making him evolve during the rp, however, Deino evolves at lvl 50; which is above my current lvl cap. I know pokemon are allowed to level during the Roleplay, but are the allowed to evolve when the evolution is higher than the cap?
