Delia almost had it. The prey danced about in front of her, tempting her,
wanting her to take its power. Wanting her to eat it. Well, she would be too happy to oblidge...
Suddenly, a weight slammed against her back, pinning her quickly to the ground as she watched the prey dance away, the brown and black lizard running after it. "NO!" she snarled, clawing, trying to find her way out from underneath the massive pressure on her back. She turned, her eyes bright with anger, to see who had, AGAIN, stopped her from her meal.
The tower of muscles snarled down at her and fired a stream of flames near her face to silence her, to teach her just who was alpha. "Enough!" she barked, "You've evolved! Now calm down or else it won't be the ground my flame is burning."
Delia couldn't help but curl her lip at the order.
Right... she thought, her senses returning to her.
I have to be... careful with this... giant, heavy BOULDER of a pokemon... she grunted in her head as she struggled to breathe. She tried getting up and shook herself beneath her captor.
"...I figured there wouldn't be a problem since it's DEAD already," she growled, still attempting to get to her feet. "But if you insist... on..." She trailed off, her senses picking something up, some strange sort of... wave...
It was a flash of power, brilliance and color as the weight was instantaneously lifted, as well as the ground from under her. She floated, was thrown, was tossed, was embraced and finally was dumped with a heavy
thud onto her back, her face staring up at endless darkness.
The Under| ???Delia rose to her feet, sniffing the air for some indication of where they were. From the stagnant air and constant scent of metal and earth, she could tell they were underground. Not to mention the lack of stars or moon... When her eyes quickly adjusted to the almost pitch dark, she could see buildings and what looked like not only piles of corpses, as per usual, but also piles of... junk. She picked up a lead pipe and weighed it in her hands. Just useless junk? Where were they?
She couldn't help the small twinge of giddyness that enveloped her. Here, she had the advantage. Here, in her element, she could reign supreme and show that muscley tower just what she could accomplish... and maybe even swallow that power herself. She gracefully leaped onto the nearest intact rooftop and quickly began to search. Once Blaze was gone, it would really only be the fire dragon and the brown lizard that would give her trouble. The yellow whelp would be a victory meal, a dessert to top off a successful triumph.
With that thought in her head, she couldn't help a small giggle as she hopped from rooftop to rooftop. Her hunt was on.
