Pyth skidded to a halt as he felt the ground shake underneath his hooves.
What the-!
Where are they?!
“Pyth! Mr. Pyth! It’s all right now, the Onyx is taken care of!” he heard Lola shouting after him.
Pyth growled as he turned and trotted back, his eyes growing wide as he beheld the fallen Onix.
A fire attack doing so much damage to an Onix?...I don't believe it. Pyth knew that almost all of them had a type disadvantage against the beast.
That pup must have used something else; a fire attack would do next to nothing to this thing...
Pyths' eyes narrowed as he turned and snorted to the triumphant wolf, now much larger.
Still a pup...especially with behavior like that.
The large bull stomped towards him and confronted the canine, fresh blood streaming from his head.
"What do you think you were doing, pup?!" He growled, enraged.
"You don't just run off half-caulked, attacking when I say to retreat! In a herd, we stick together. If one puts themselves in danger, you put everyone in danger, you got that?!" Pyth fumed, his thick fur bristling.
Snorting angrily, he turned to the others and glared at them all with one eye forced shut. The large bull looked at each and quickly took note of the damage. All of them seemed in decent condition, though they all showed signs of exhaustion. It was then that his expression changed, albeit very subtly, when he saw the small feline.
Pyth took a deep breath and trotted slowly up to the Meowth and bowed his head.
"Can you walk Ma'am?" he inquired, his gravelly voice still strong despite his fatigue.
Suddenly, the young Growlithe piped up.
"Um ... I think something's happened to Miss Scarlet," he said. "I saw Mr Yoru looking very sad during the fight and Miss Scarlet wasn't there anymore! So..." He looked towards the trees where he had seen Yoru. "I-I think we should go and see what happened ... Miss Scarlet could be hurt! We need to help her!"
Pyths' sour face grew even more bitter as he contemplated on the pups' words.
"Well, we better not waste anymore time. Let's go find them."
