History-Lilly never met her trainer. Or her parents for that matter. Her trainer was a handsome young man named Elliot who owned a flower shop in Floaroma Town. He was taunted at school for being gay, and no one did anything to stop the madness. It came to the point where he asked his pokemon to leave the shop. His only two pokemon, a Lilligant and a male Roselia, watched through the window as Elliot ended his suffering for good. He kicked the chair away. They ran away.
In the wild, Lilly's parents fell in love and, in time, produced an egg. They cared for the egg, anxious for the day it will soon hatch into a baby for them. A happy baby for a happy family in a happy world.
Then everything went in a downward spiral...
The soon to be family was attacked by an undead Shiftry. Both parents died in an effort to protect the egg. The Shiftry died from its injuries. So did the parents. They held hands and the last thing their closing eyes saw wasn't each other, but the egg starting to hatch. They smiled as they entered the afterlife together.
The hatchling came to be a baby Petilil. The first thing she saw when she opened her eyes were the bodies of a Lilligant and a Roselia. Her parents. Dead. She looked down in the dirt. Written in it was a message that read;
'WE'RE SORRY WE COULDN'T SEE YOU. BUT WE KNOW YOU'LL BE A BEAUTIFUL LILLI'
The message cut off. She went with what the message said. Her name was Lilli. She was now alone in this big, scary world, defenseless.
While exploring Floaroma, she became aware that there were other survivors. She didn't learn their names, and while resting, a creature (she couldn't see what it was) grabbed her and took her to Chargestone Cave, where she looks for more survivors like in Floaroma. Maybe a bit nicer.
