Re: The PALLET Team
“Thanks, but I’m fine.” Ken said when Khan asked if they where all right. His wing no longer hurt and he was feeling 100% thanks to the berry Venonat gave him while they where still in the gym. “But I don’t think we shouldn’t hang here anymore then we should. That rib cage won’t hold that thing forever you know.” He added as he began to fly off to what was left of the pokemon center.
He kept looking over his shoulder to see if the others where still following him, landing on the ground just outside of what would have been the front door. The place looked like it had been burned down by something, it could have probably caught fire when the whole world went into chose. Be walked toward to, maybe there was something in the rubble that they could use agonised that infected once it got out.
Ken started to move some of the debris with his wings, but had trouble moving the much larger stuff, luckly he was able to get around the rubble quite well cause of his size, one of the few resins why he didn’t want to evolve, not yet anyway.

The Insect Pokemon followed them as they were planning their next move. Since being only a child, he couldn't have much oppinion into the matter and was limmited to following them.
He followed Ken towards a burned building, Venonat could barelly see a red roof on it, he believed to be a Pokemon Center, a kind of hospital for pokemon. He heard about it when he was with his best friend. He saw Ken trying to move some of the rumble, Venonat walked to him and attempted to help.

Re: The PALLET Team
"As you wish, then."
Khan fell behind slightly as he began to think. He had lost count of the number of times he had gone through as many cures for the virus as he could think of, but, one by one, they had been dismissed. If only someone could figure it out; if only someone could find a remedy and spread the word to the other survivors then maybe, just maybe, they could end this nightmare. No more living in fear, no more struggles to survive, no more death.
He stopped as he almost tripped over a piece of rubble of a building that had once been the Violet City Pokemon Centre. As he saw Ken rummaging through the rubble looking for a weapon of some sort, he decided to help. Joining them, he managed to haul away many chunks of debris without much difficulty, and eventually found a rusty metal pipe. He placed it aside and then proceeded to help Ken to shift the rubble that he was trying to move.
"Let's not linger here for too long," he said flatly. "We must get to the sanctuary of the forest as soon as possible. Once there, we can figure out a plan."

Maxwell wasn't sure what had happened. He was creeping quietly through a Pokemon Center in an odd city, when his cheeks started to hurt, and he let out a Thundershock. It had hurt his entire body, even making his old wounds from a bite tn his stomach start to ache, that the Pichu had fainted.
He awoke to rubble- apparently, he was under the ruins of the Pokemon Center somehow. What...? The little Pichu winced as searing pain started to accumulate in his left and only ear- something was digging into it. Attempting to pull his ear away from the pain, Maxwell felt vibrations coming from his right side.
"Help... help..." The Tiny Mouse Pokemon feebly whispered. Wish as he might, he would never hear an answer. But if he put his mind to it, he might receive an action. "Help me..."

Vena crawled her way to the edge of the water. I wounder if the water is contaminated. Vena had walked for a long time now. She took a chance and started to sip the water. Then she saw movement. It's was a Murkrow, a Lucario and a Venonat. It was the Venonat that catch her attention. It seemed so young. She could not leave it. So she crawled over. Blinking her blue eyes she said, Hello all. My name is Vena. Would you like some help there.
Vena said as she crawled to the rubble. She used her head to move a large boulder at least twice her size, to the other side.

Re: The PALLET Team
The constant pounding on the bars had been getting slower and slower as the energy of the undead jynx slowly drained. Sometime during her onslaught, she had gotten so frustrated that her attacks seemed to flow alternatively, one of her heart stamps had slowed down due to her fatigue, so when she launched a ice punch right after, it hit the heart stamp causing an explosion of ice and psychic shards in front of her. Though the small burst had been effective, it missed the bar, and the burst went in all directions, leaving her torso and face cut up more. Somewhere along the way, Siren had begun to cry. No, that was the wrong term, for to cry, one had to feel sadness, Siren felt no sadness, but tears still fell down her rotting face, causing the wounds on her face to slightly sting. These new sensations refused to leave her alone, and even the smallest thing such as salty tears touching open flesh was leaving behind sensations. It agitated her, she just wanted to return to the way it was before, where all she did was eat, and hate, and everything was easier. Siren stopped for a moment to rest up before continuing her onslaught of the bars. The tears were washing away the powder that had rendered her blind; she was starting to get her sight back, though not fast enough.
She was able to see the blurry figure of the area around her, it was indeed a cage of sorts, but she was not able to see her progress of the bar just yet. Her shriveled up undead brain tried to make sense of the situation she was in, which was not a good idea. She the pokemon that where suppost to become her food had attacked her, had fled from her, and worst of all, rejected her attraction. That last one sparked something inside her, something she had thought she had killed off long ago, but the rejection brought it out. She was rejected in her love, just like she was so long ago, by the trainer who she dedicated her body to, and the Mr.Mime that she dedicated her heart to. No matter what she did, nothing would ever love her, everything she did was never enough. They had cast her aside, and even gone as far as locked her up. She was never gonna be enough for anyone, and while that brought up endless tears, that also brought up endless rage, the likes of which she has ever felt, living or undead.
Siren made her way to the bar she had been thrashing, but instead of using her icy fists she grabbed on to the two bars on either side, and bashed the bar with her head. It hurt a lot, but not as much as the memories were hurting on the inside. It only took two tries, but the bar finally broke off, allowing her escape. Blood and tears mixed together across her face, but that didn’t matter, Siren would she them who was Never Enough.

Re: The PALLET Team
The Murkrow was grateful for the help from the Venonat and Khan. “Let's not linger here for too long,” Khan said flatly. “We must get to the sanctuary of the forest as soon as possible. Once there, we can figure out a plan.” Ken nodded at that, but he still wanted to see if he could find anything of use here. He nearly jumped out of his feathers when he came across the charred body of a pokemon. It was so burned up that you could no longer tell what kind it was, or if it was even infected or living. He backed away from the sight, his wings over his beak. He tried to look away, but it was hard. He had to get out of the rubble, forgetting about trying to find something useful, he just wanted get away from that thing. Out of this hell, out of everything.
Tears started to stream down his face as he flew off to one of the nearby trees. He didn’t want the others to see him cry, he hated how everything was turning out, he hated it all. Maybe he could just die and be over with it, it would save the infected all the trouble of doing it themselves. But he couldn’t bring himself from having that happen; he had never had friends like these before, not since Rin. He looked over at them as they stood in the burned building. He wiped the tears away and flew back over to them. He found a charred cloth and covered the burned body with it. “Rest in peace, whoever you are.” He said. He turned back to his friends, “Theres nothing here, so lets just go.” It was then that there was one more among them. He had never seem a pokemon like it before, he hadn’t even seen it till now. When did it even show up?
“Help me...”
Ken forgot about the new bug pokemon the instant he heard that little sound. “Did you guys hear that?” He said as he went over to the place he heard the small sound. “I think it came from here.” He tried to move a rather large piece of rubble, “I could use some help in moving this.”

Venonat was happy to be able to help as he bounced for a momment before seeing the other bug type. He has never seen one like that before. He stared at it for a momment tilting it's head. He gave a small wave to the bug pokemon.
His attention went back to Ken as he requested help, he walked towards Ken and aided him to push the large piece of rubble with Ken...but his force wasn't enough. He used his Signal Beam to help pushing it, as the debri fell to the side. Venonat tilted head as if questioning if he did any good.

Re: The PALLET Team
Khan was momentarily surprised by the new voice that he had heard from behind. He turned swiftly, instinctively raring an attack, but paused when he noticed a strange Bug-type Pokemon that he had never seen before. She didn't seem to be Infected, so he held up his paw in apology and was about to reply when a much smaller, weaker voice reached his ears.
"Help ... help ... help me..."
Turning immediately in the direction of the voice, he spotted Ken and Venonat trying to move a piece of rubble that appeared to be on top of a small yellow Pokemon. Without hesitation, he rushed over and hoisted the largest pieces of the rubble off of the little Pichu and hurled them aside.
He bent down to pick up the tiny Pokemon, but then his senses began to burn. Something was wrong. The appendages on the back of his head rose and he sensed an Aura that was neither blue nor red: it was pink: somewhere in between.
Puzzled, Khan actually hesitated in helping the little Pokemon for a moment, but as soon as he saw the condition that he was in - an entire ear missing! - he cursed himself for being heartless. He gently lifted the Pichu in his paws and carried him to softer ground, where he carefully lay him down.
He beckoned the Venipede to come over before addressing the little Pichu.
"It's all right, little one, don't be afraid. None of us are going to hurt you." He grabbed his Sitrus Berry that he was always carrying and tore it in half. Holding up the Pichu's head, he held his half of the berry at his mouth. "Eat this, you will feel much better."

Re: The PALLET Team
Salvation. That was the only thought going through his mind as the rocks gave away to reveal the night sky and other Pokemon. At first, nothing happened. Maxwell felt his tired muscles deflate, almost begging for sleep. Then actions pursued, the tall humanoid one reached for him, picking him up, and placing him onto safe ground. Thank you... The Pichu thought quietly as he took deep breaths. The lacerations on his stomach had receded, and were not acting up- at least, for now, he could focus on these new Pokemon.
"It's all right, little one, don't be afraid. None of us are going to hurt you." The Pichu blinked his eyes slowly in realization that these Pokemon were going to accept him without question. Little one... It called back some awkward image in his mind, a kind boy calling him those same words. Maxwell glanced as the Pokemon took out a berry and handed part of it to him. "Eat this, you will feel much better."
The first few moments Maxwell gingerly ate it, only to feel his stomach grumble for more. He caved in, soon devouring the entire thing as if it were a dead carca- what? He had finished eating the berry and his stomach content, yet... he still craved for just a tad more. Standing to his feet, the little Pichu decided he hadn't eaten so much in such a long time he wanted to eat a lot. "I... Maxwell. Tha... nk you." He told them in a quiet voice. His tongue felt slightly like rubber and it was hard to speak.
What words could describe his confusion? He had mixed feelings- joy of seeing living, happiness that they gave him a tasty treat, but there was also that feeling of... he couldn't put his finger on it, but he just wanted more.

Vena walked over to the Lucario. The Pichu ate the Sitrus berry. Vena smiled. She looked at the Lucario. Bring the Pichu over here. Vena said as she used Poison Tail to blast a hole in the wall of the lab. We can used the medicine in this lab to help the Pichu. Vena said as she looked though the medicine that lay in the lab.
She looked at the other pokemon and smiled. Come, come. We don't have all day. Vena said to the others. You all need to get some sleep. I will take care of the Pichu. So please, come in.

Re: The PALLET Team
The pokemon had gotten a huge lead while she was trapped. Their faint smells where too old to properly track them, though not all the smells were faint. The purple bug, who held the rotting pokemon’s head to lure her in the gym had not properly had a chance to clean himself, and in her infected state, blood was more than easy to track. Little by little, the tears and the blood that ran down her face had slightly taken the pollen out, making things a bit clearer compared to before. Her fists a rumble of fingers, each no longer pointing in the right direction through the use of all the ice punches, fairly soon should need to get rid of those useless ligaments so that they wouldn’t get in the way.
She followed the smell of a rundown building, they were foolish to think she would stay there all night, so they did not go far. Though they did seem to multiply, adding two more pokemon to the group, another bug, and a small pichu at the center being picked up by the blue lucario, it was being swooned over by all the other pokemon, despite the fact that it gave off almost the same smell as an undead. She could not however find the retched dark bird that would usually mock her in her attempts to capture it, though that didn’t matter, it would show itself eventually. Siren began to charge when an unknown force was projected everywhere causing her to double over in pain. A strange powerful force overcame her, engulfing her from the inside out, a fierce rage that was not her own, though far superior to any she had ever had. She would have stayed hunched over in agonizing pain much longer if she had not been part psychic, though the pulsating migrane left no other thought other than the rage the wave brought on. And that rage was directed at the small pichu, it was in the same position as her, yet they had the nerve to treat it right, she would wring it in her hands till all the blood dripped out and the body was little more than twisted flesh.
Though things where not the same as they were a minute ago , the environment, the temperature, and even the buildings had changed, her tower was no were in sight, and she might have taken in her surroundings more if the rage from the wave did not still possess her to keep going. She used the chance where the other pokemon were still recovering from the wave of power to get her hands on the pichu. If her hands where not broken she could have done it with only one hand, but now she needed both to grab the pichu and begin squeezing. Sometime along the way the tears had returned, but whether they were from rage, or sorrow was still uncertain. She just continued to squeeze harder as words she were not aware of came out of her mouth. “WHY….WHY…AM…I…NEVER ENOUGH!”
((figured since mewtwo's rage energy thing was able to make legendaries wither in pain, it'd do it to all pokemon. And since it was a psychic burst and Siren has resistance then she'd get up faster than regular pokemon.))

Re: The PALLET Team
Ken followed Khan as he carried the injured Pichu over to some softer ground. He landed behind the Lucario, watching as the little mouse pokemon ate half of the berry that Khan was carrying, it seemed the little pokemon was pretty hungry, cause when it finished, it looked like it wanted more, so he couldn’t help but smile at the little thing, if you could call that a smile anyway.
Ken was about to introduce himself when a sudden blast of energy hit him. It felt like Psychic energy, but, he was half dark type, how could this be affecting by it? He didn’t have time to think about it, cause it was only a matter of time before he blacked out.
Ken woke minutes later, which felt like hours, in a completely different location, his eyes wide in wonder, what was a city a few seconds ago, was now a small town. His mouth opened as he looked around, the others where lying on the ground as well, knocked out by the same wave of power, but since they wheren’t dark types, they must have felt much more of the power then he did.
Ken was a little curios as to what had caused it, but it seemed to have transported them to a completely different region altogether. “Where are we?” He said to himself, as he looked around. He was standing now, like he had never been hit with the wave in the first place, but in a matter of seconds when he turned his head his eyes went even wider. The infected Jynx had been transported with them, and was now wringing the little Pichus neck. The Murkrow let out a caw and started to attack the Jynx once again. “Put him down! Put him down right now!” He yelled, attacking with a Nigh Shade. It was times like this that he wished he knew a dark type attack.
(Since Ken is part dark type he probably wouldn’t feel the affects of the psychic energy the same way the rest of them do, having an immunity to it and all, but since its coming from a legend, he would still feel it enough that he would pass out.)

Venonat hopped and climbed to the Lucario's shoulder and looked at the little pokemon on it's hands. Venonat waved seeming to smile. Suddenly, Venonat fell back as a strange force striked him making him curl in pain whimpering, he soon passed out, but Venonat was very weak.
After what looked like hours, Venonat slowly started to regain concious, although he was still badly injured he could hear a lot of racket. He looked and saw the infected Jynx trying to strangle the poor Pichu while Ken was trying to attack it. Venonat weakly used his Signal Beam, aiming at the Jynx's hands so it could let go, it was slightly aware that Bug type moves would have a certain increased effect on the Jynx, even though it was slightly weak.

Re: The PALLET Team
Khan was most surprised to see the little Pichu get to his feet; he had anticipated that the Pokemon's injuries were far more severe than they had appeared. Apparently not, for now 'Maxwell' was standing up and in reletively good shape. There was just one little thing that was troubling the Lucario...
He longed to warn the others about his hunch; that this Pichu wasn't quite as safe and as innocent as he seemed. That pink Aura ... it had been halfway between that of an Infected and that of a 'normal' Pokemon. Khan wasn't sure whether it actually meant that the Pichu was Infected - what if he had just had contact with one recently?
For now though, he smiled down at the little Pokemon and said, "You are welcome. Tell me, how did you--"
He didn't have much more time to think about his theory, and he had barely even said a word to Maxwell as a wave of psychic energy engulfed him and the others. He felt as if he had been lifted off his feet and was now being pulled through the air, through nothingness, by an invisible force. Khan struggled to stay conscious as his insides lurched at the force of the blast, and he eventually failed and passed out.
--
Groaning himself awake, Khan immediately lifted his head and noted, with relief, that Ken, Venonat, Maxwell and the new Venipede were safe and relatively unharmed too. However, at first he failed to notice the presence of the Infected Jynx, and gasped in horror as she grabbed little Maxwell round the throat and tried to choke him.
Despite his aching body and the dizziness, Khan sprung into action. "Release him!" he bellowed, preparing a Bone Rush. He lunged at the Jynx and proceeded to attack her in any location he could get at. Again and again he hit her with the bone, determined to free Maxwell even though he wasn't sure if he was helping the enemy or not...

Re: The PALLET Team
Maxwell watched with big eyes as all the other Pokemon crowded around him. Then questions with no answers suddenly arose, and the Pichu winced. It had been happening a lot recently, though after a few minutes the migraines would go away and he was more or less the same as before. But... Maxwell couldn't remember parts of his life- what did his parents look like? What was the birthday of his trainer again? What day was his birth date? These small trivial things that normally came naturally were now lost to the small electric type.
He quickly threw his uneasiness away- if he put his mind to it, he was sure the memories would come back sooner or later. He had always been forgetful... right? The Pichu started to scratch his head in wonder when a ear-splintering screech seem to reach his ears and thump his head. For nearly ten long seconds, Maxwell felt as if he were being thrown against a wall repeatedly, and all he prayed for was death and brief silence.
Pallet Town | Night
When he came to, Maxwell felt over powerful hands surround his neck and jerk him upward violently. The Pichu squeaked in surprise as he was met was a tear soaked face, her eyes wishing for strange love. I... When he stared into those eyes, those blood-shot and murdering eyes, he simply understood. It comforted him more than it should, and that bothered him.
The other Pokemon immediately followed in pursuit and began to attack her, and that was when Maxwell just knew. What were they doing to this innocent Pokemon? Was it her fault for the things she had to commit? Coming off her grasp, Maxwell landed on the ground neatly, before turning to the other Pokemon.
"What..." His cheeks sparked as his eyes watched those red ones. "Do you..." Maxwell closed his eyes as the entire voltage took his entire body, causing himself to glow. "Think..." If I put my mind to it, I can protect her! "You're doing!"
With that, he sent a Thunder Wave to all the surrounding Pokemon, trying to ward his sparks away from crying Jynx. Please stop crying.

Re: The PALLET Team
Almost all at once, the pokemon that had lost conscious all around her had started to wake up to the sight of her trying to choke the little pichu. If her hands where not so disfigured, she would have accomplished her goal well before they even got up. As expected, as soon as they saw that their precious infected friend was in danger, they did what they would never have done for her, they protected it by attacking the Siren. Just like when the Rhyhorn had bitten her both killing her and infecting her, she felt nothing as the onslaught of attacks hit her. A nightshade hit her directly on the back, almost making her stumble, a well-placed signal beam freed the electric mouse from her grip and managed to take off some of the useless digits that were once fingers. They all ganged together to save something that was almost like her, so where was he protection, were was her knight in shining armor?
Last but not least, the blue and black one assaulted her with a giant bone, out of all the other attacks, this one was the most damaging, it seemed to hit most of her vitals, it was a miracle that she was even still standing, her face all distorted now from the attacks, parts of the skin ripped off, maybe even still stuck to the bone club. And yet, the pichu that she had tried to strangle, seemed to sympathize with her, maybe even show pity, for once since she had died, the old Jynx that cared for the world, for her trainer, for the Mr.Mime that she loved seemed to resurface, but only for an instant. The pichu had used a thunder wave, meant to paralyze those around it, but it managed to catch Siren also, now, unable to move her muscles she tipped over, sent plummeting to the ground.
All her life, everything abandoned her in her time of need, her trainer abandoned her soon after evolving from a smoochum, and her lover abandoned her when the rhyhorn attacked, but now, again on the verge of death, this small pokemon that she had just tried to kill, was actually standing up for her. The tears came back again, though they were not tears of rage, or of sadness, they were of joy, because for once maybe she was, “Enough.” As Siren’s head made contact with the ground, the weakened skull from the time being infected, and the assault from the bone club caused it to crack. Some of the skull fragments went inward, impaling the brain, while the rest split open, allowing the blood and brain matter to flow out. The Siren the world knew it was no more.
((I love Siren, i really do, she will always be my favorite undead, but i feel she has run her course, and that her story needed to reach its end. Was fun RPing with you all of the SPROUT/PALLET team~))

Re: The PALLET Team
Ken didn’t understand why the Pichu was protecting the Jynx, after all it had attacked them, and just tried to kill it, so why? He managed to dodge the Thunder Wave by going into a dive, “Why are your protecting that thing? Its an undead.” He said as he began to climb again. It was then that he noticed the infected also seemed to get hit with the Pichu’s attack, it fell over and smashed its head on the ground, instantly killing it. His eyes went wide at the sight, the infected was finally dead, so they where safe, for now. But he still didn’t understand why the Pichu had saved it in the first space. He would have to keep an eye on the little mouse pokemon, and hope he doesn’t pull something like that again.
The Murkrow flew down to rejoin the rest of the group, landing in front of the Pichu, but a little ways back. He started to have suspicion about it now, not thinking it will be trusted later, but the more they have on the team the better they would be off. “Why did you try and save the infected? If we didn’t try and kill it, it would have killed you, then the rest of us.” Ken said to it. He tried to sound nice, but he didn’t like how it had attacked them like it did.

Venonat got hit by the Pichu's attack screeching, he quickly hid behind Khan. He poked his head out and frowned at the small electric pokemon, it was very rude for it to attacked them, and why was it defending the Jynx...but than again it's attack was what killed the Jynx in the first place as Venonat could see a few sparks on the collapsed body of the Ice infected pokemon.
Venonat examined the Pichu's body looking for anything strange and out of ordinary, besides the missing ear, he could only identify the bite mark. Venonat poked Khan and pointed at the bite mark, than scribbled in the ground "Possible Infected?"

Maxwell could only stare in confusion as the Jynx fell suddenly and the other Pokemon were affected by his Thunder Wave. What... happened..? The Pichu could only remember a sudden caterwaul that deafened his single ear, then being thrashed around and about by a mysterious force. After that, he woke up to find himself using Thunder Wave. Rubbing his used cheeks tenderly, he looked at the living Pokemon in mild confusion. “Why did you try and save the infected? If we didn’t try and kill it, it would have killed you, then the rest of us.” The Murkrow cawed towards the Pichu.
Kill? Save? Maxwell cocked his head to the side in his wonder. Taking a quick glance, he noticed the others were speaking of him too. "What... did I do?"
Even if he put his mind to it, he couldn't remember past the screech.

Vena watched as the Murkrow and Venonat started to gag up on the Pichu. Vena sucked in some air, making herself seem bigger, runs over to the Pichu's side. Both of you, knock it off! The Pichu probably felt sorry for the infected. Vena turned to the Pichu and back. So will y'all just stop being mean to the Pichu. Vena stepped into the middle of the group. She was always the peace keeper back home.
She crawled over to the body of the infected. She sniffed it. Arg! We need to get rid of this soon. It might attract other infected. Vena said as her antennas started to move.

Ken didn’t understand, it was like the little Pichu didn’t even realize he had protected the Jynx. If he didn’t remember it was probably best not to tell him. “Never mind, if you don’t remember, that’s ok.” Though he would still keep an eye on the little guy, and hope he doesn’t do it again. Vena also seemed to be defending it as well, so he just sighed and began to fly up to get a better view of the surroundings.
His hunch was right, they where not in the huge city they where once in, they where instead in a small town with houses dotted here and there. What where they going to do now? They where nowhere near where they were, and Ken had never even been here before. He began to descend to tell the others what he had seen, “From the looks of it, we seem to be in a small town. But I have never been here before so I don’t know if there’s anything important here or not.” Since he was up in the sky he hadn’t heard Vena say they had to burry the Jynx’s body so it didn’t attract any other infected. She was probably right, so while they pondered on what to do next, they could get to work on getting rid of the infecteds body.

Venonat walked away holding his antenna and looking around there was little things around that little town. Besides his friends he haven't seen any pokemon yet. Eventually he would find something that would tell where they were.
This town was a lot smaller than Violet's and barelly had anything except a few houses. Venonat frowned as he couldn't find anything, although he than noticed a sign, he jumped to it and cleaned the plake to be able to read it..."Pallet Town". That must be where they were.
Jumping down he shot a Signal Beam to the sky so to catch the attention of the others and bring them to him, this way he could show what he has found.
