History-
Caim was born to a breeder, and a nasty one at that. He was obsessed with breeding "mystical pokemon" and the Vulpix family was one of his favorites. When Caim emerged, the ebony coat entranced the breeder, and the small kit was immediately the favorite of the breeder.
This would not be in Caim's favor, however.
The breeder, fascinated with Caim's pelt, searched for spells and curses that the eventual ninetales would be able to perform. Caim was forced to evolve early, speeding up any growth and development and multiplying it. However, with the rigorous training, Caim grew tired and angry at his owner. Caim's sister, Furiae, as well as other pups and pokemon, were being neglected while the breeder focused on the black ninetales. Things then turned from bad to worse when the breeder brought his niece to see him, and she fell in love with the black fox as well.
However, the niece, Manah, wanted Caim for herself. She was already a talented, powerful Dragon trainer, and when the breeder refused to let her have Caim, she giddily destroyed the breeder's home with her faithful Hydreigon, killing not only the breeder himself, but Caim's parents and friends... everyone perished but his still vulpix sister, Furiae. Manah saw the connection between the two and used her as leverage, forcing the black ninetales into coercion.
Because of the Hydreigon, and just about everyone else on Manah's team, Caim generally refused to listen much. He knew that Furiae wouldn't be hurt, since if Manah killed her, how would she prevent him from simply running or killing Manah? Manah, however, was far more cruel than her uncle, and took a knife to the both of them. To Caim, and to stop his biting tongue, she carved an arcane symbol into the offending organ, muting him. For Furiae, she carved the runes all over her small body, privying the already sickly pup to more sickness and disease through the open wounds. And then, to add insult to injury, she chained him to a charizard by the name of Angelus, forcing him to fight for her.
Nearly broken, fearing for his sister and with no tongue to speak with, Caim was a silent, obedient dog. He did exactly what he was told and the hate that was generally associated with it began to fade. However, the charizard he was chained to was not the same as her teammates, and began to assure Caim that they would be able to kill Manah. For a long time, she stoked the fire of hate, and together, they plotted against their trainer. They were not friends, per se, but two individuals fighting against a common enemy, and eventually, something akin to friendship blossomed over the grueling months and years they spent together.
However, before the duo could take action in their plot, strange pokemon swarmed the land. Monsters with red eyes and rank of death. Manah was clever though, and managed to fly off with er powerful Hydreigon. However, they were attacked in mid air, and they were all scattered to the winds. As Caim and Angelus were still chained together, they had to keep traveling and working together. However, a strange rift of power tore them apart and flung Caim to a new place, and for the first real time, utterly alone.
He only wished Manah alive so that he may rip their throats out with his own teeth.
User Note-
-Vengeful
-While traditionally mute, he can use his psychic powers to speak as well. However, he does this on very rare occasion and usually only to Angelus. If he needs to communicate, he'll write in dirt or something.
-Doesn't really know how he feels about Angelus
-Hates Dragons, especially Hydreigon
-Thinks his sister might be still alive, so he's a little hasty on getting her back before Manah can do anymore harm to her. He needs Angelus to do this, so he's also looking for her. This makes him anxious and doesn't like to sit still for long
-Insomniac
Based on the character Caim from Drakengard games. May be a dual character later.
