    ◊◊◊ | Celestic Town [Northern house; basement] | Late Noon | Shaka :: 45 Tsukiko :: 28 | ◊◊◊

"I-I did...didn. D-do anything." She mouthed to herself in response to Sade's reply. But Tsukiko could see it, even with her intact eye closed shut. Sade was not entirely done with her. There was an adamant roar that stopped the violence momentarily. It was Shaka. And he was threatening Sade. But why? The longer her mind brooded on his rage, the more she came to realize his care for her. But her frail grasp at hope, at any semblance of sanity, was stopped when The Sceptile.....

....No. The Glaceon, spoke again. There were silent footsteps outside her head, the sound of him saying Excuse me for a moment, my dear. As his claw wrapped around her dangling eye she felt him pry about her eye socket. His claws shifted carefully about inside, seeking out the optical nerves with a methodical coldness that not even the chill of the basement could compete with. It scared her more to know exactly what The Glaceon was doing, rather than to experience the pain. It reminded her of the day her electrical patches had overloaded. There was so much blood, and so much tears. As she recalled that memory she began to cry and weep. To cry, and to weep. While the pain went on until it finally ended with a sickening, slick snip. There was an enthusiastic cackle, and the splatter of something soft and fleshy upon concrete. She sat there motionlessly for a long time. Just absorbing all of her suffering, her agony. All she wanted was to be free from this. To be free from The Glaceon. She remembered him all too well, the murderous demon who froze her mother to death in front of her. She thought she could have forgotten about him, but here he was now. To finish what he had started.

Her brooding recessed, because of a gentle nudge behind her. The ominous feeling of her murderer was gone.

There was the sound of a slow grate as it shifted at the ropes which bound her arms. With no visible response to the contact, she tried to think of what it was. Maybe The Glaceon was going to untie her, to taunt her with a false sense of freedom? No, this feeling was too gentle. M-morp.... Morpheus? She wondered. The rope was becoming slack, and she began to shift her arms. The first thing she did when she they were free was to cup her hands over her bleeding eye socket. To behold the pool of jelly on the concrete nearby and to silently cry. She did not know how much she was shuddering when she felt a gaze upon her. Just a few inches from her under the shadow of the stairs, Shaka was staring back. And all he demanded with his stare were the words leave. Leave, and survive. She was scared for him, more than she was for herself. The Glaceon will not be happy about this. It will come back and tear him apart just as it did to her. It is probably not even finished with her yet, just as it was not satisfied with just killing her parents. But she complied with Shaka's demands even if she did not want to. Nervously, she began to fidget at the rope binding her legs. It was difficult, for it was tight and her limbs were slightly numb. But after a few fidgets the rope gave up its knot and it fell taut. Her tail, which was uncomofortably tied against her back, was also freed. She took a few seconds to realize her situation with a pain-ladened mind. Her breaths were heavy with fright, only relaxing because of the absence of what fueled her fear. And because of the comforting presence of Morpheus and Shaka.

Her mind was still an aching blur, though, and when she made her first steps up she felt like she was going to collapse and just weep there on the cold floor. That she was just going to cry out all of her blood and then just die. But she remembered her friend, Morpheus. She tried to hide her grotesque injury from him with one of her hands as she stared at him with her honest, blue eye. Her emotions spoke words to Morpheus, without her even having to break the silence. M-morpheus. Thank you. But it h-hurts so much. Could....could you lead the way out? Just looking at him gave her hope. To see that absence of an eye, that hollow gaping whole which told her she was not alone in her suffering. To Morpheus, Tsukiko gave a tiny but recognizable smile. He was being even braver than her right now, and she wanted him to know that. For now, he was gone. The sadistic Glaceon was gone. There was an opportunity for escape. That day she lost her cheek patches, there was so much panic. But here and now there was no panic. Everyone knew what they had to do: They had to survive. And so, terrified but once again grasping strongly to her small hope she waited in the darkness under the stairs until she was sure the sadist was completely preoccupied with his hunting.

    ~*~ ~*~

He said little in reply to Sade's comebacks. All Shaka did was reveal his unnaturally sharp teeth and snarl at him. "And I wonder what a Sceptile's heart tastes like, Sade?" Let Sade have the humor. Once he gets out of these bonds it will be his turn to do the laughing and the mutilating. He will remember how Sade drilled out Tsukiko's eye and then threw it to the floor. And now, he only felt like a fool now more than ever. Without the white coat, the filthy grovyle who had murdered Zoke was all too similar to the one who was now attempting to murder them. He had suspected this before but now he just felt like an idiot. Because he had not assisted Narron in murdering this savage when he was still just a frail little Grovyle.

But from his dark corner in the basement, Shaka saw hope. Hope that Tsukiko and the shuppet would escape. That he would be the only one to face that damned lizard's wrath. Having arisen from unconsciousness, the ghost had taken a metallic object and began to slice at the rope which bound Tsukiko's arms. Tsukiko had done nothing to deserve her injury, and the shuppet did not deserve to be horrified like this. He also listened intently, as Sade leaves the basement and the room is left in a comfortable silence.

((OOC -- Not sure if you intend for Sade to return downstairs after he catches Mango, Kaze. I will edit this post asap if needed.))

Using his species speed to his advantage the bloodied Sceptile rushes up the wooden stairs cheerfully, his golden eyes gleaming in the darkness like two malevolent stars.
Blood from the Pikachu has splattered his white coat. Soon he will have to clean it off but for now he'll make do with its intimidating appearence. His frond-like tail held upright from his anger and the surge of elation he always felt from seeing another in pain the Sceptile clacks his horned beak and leaps forwards towards the two that had nearly stumbled directly inmto his lair.
The Chamander stands tall, arrogant thing no doubt beliveing that the type difference will be enough to secure his victory and while the puffs of flame he breathes out singe his screen scales in causes Sade to do nothing more than briefly hiss in pain.
The smaller electric type runs; the sensible option to Sade's annoyance.
"Little lizard wants to fight?" He hisses menacingly at the Charmander, an eeerie grin spreading across his face at being called villian. "All that time reading comic books is going to get you killed kid."
Darting forwards Sade raises his hooked claws and digs his toes into the dry plaster boards, spinning himself through the air over the Fire Type's head as he slams his claw down on the naive Fire Type's orange scaled skull with enough force to stun the little lizard; a weaker blow than normal for Sade. In fact he had to deliberately pull it to avoid crushing the Charmander's skull like an egg.
Watching the stunned Fire Type stagger he hoists it up by the blue cloth it wore like a cape and slings it over his shoulder before checking himself over. The Ember had left a few tender singed marks on his arms and shoulders in the form of round pinkish burns as well as some dark sears on the front of his white coat. The torture toys he had stowed away in his pockets were thankfully intact...

Clicking his beak Sade turns to survey the now empty corridor. Where had that little Electric Type gone? Surely the Pichu would not have fled, the fact that the two were dressed the same could not be a coincidence.
"Come out little Pichu." He says in his most charming tones as he slowly starts to walk down the corridor. "That in unless you want to hear your friend scream..."
With a dark chuckle Sade starts to walk away from the basement stairs, leaving his prisoners to stew in their own misery until he returns.
Slowly he pursues what passes for his lips and begins to whistle as he casually strolls down the corridor, giving terror time to mature.
The Pikachu's screams of terror made him feel all warm and bubbly inside as nothing else could, how he wished he could just bask in the glow of that moment, but with even more test subjects he could feel this good for weeks to come.
Sade sighs and continues the haunting song, giving the Pichu's fear time to mature as he mentally sings along to the tune in his head, his pleasure evident to those that know the song he is whistling.
'And I think to myself...What a wonderful world.'

Mango groaned and woke up. He struggled and wiggled freeing his towel cape before sprinting off. Finding Chips quickly, Mango grabbed the smaller Pokemon under his arm and ran for all he was worth. To regroup and think what to do now.

As Narron got closer to the town, running at full speed, he thought that he had heard a faint whistling tune, which echoed it's way out to him. Creepy. Narron thought he recognised what he had heard as what a wonderful world.
Who would be whistling a song like that while people were screaming earlier, and after all that had happened, only someone very messed up would be thinking that it was wonderful.

Narron crept his way to the towns edge, and saw a brief flash of a white coat, as it turned a corner. Sade? His coat looked slightly burned, or singed? Had the Gardevoir really done that?

It was then that Narron saw a small Charmander run from around the corner Sade had turned, it moved at full speed, a look of fear on it's face. It grabbed a Pichu which was hiding nearby, and sprinted off into the forest, right next to where Narron was hiding. Had he wanted to, he could have stopped them, but he decided not to, at least, if they were running from something, they would be safer out in the forest than wherever it was in the town. Once he was sure no one was around (he still did not trust Sade all that much), Narron stepped out and into the city, and slowly and quietly began exploring, making sure not to be seen, listening for any sounds.

"Go ahead, Sparks, and walk straight into town. Don't be a coward and hide. It's not like you is it? You're much braver than that. Be vicious. Because vicious is the way things go in your brain. Vicious is how things go in this world."

She hid, behind the shrub in front of her. "Ma......ma?" Was there a mama nearby? A papa? Would they welcome her into their paws like hers did, before they had gotten lost in the big dark forest?

"Shut up. Your parents left you. Abandoned you. So did your siblings. I'm the only person you have left, and you better listen to me or I'll be leaving you too."

"You aren't mama..." Sparks cocked her head, suddenly feeling a stabbing pain in her hind leg. "Leg is bloody.... Leg hurts...."

She lost her balance, tumbling away from her hiding spot and began to cry.

    ◊◊◊ | Celestic Town [Northern house; basement] | Late Noon | Shaka :: 45 Tsukiko :: 29 | ◊◊◊

Tsukiko's breaths were muted as she listened. Sade had wrangled someone, the owner of that brave child's voice she had vaguely heard. There was a crash, and she knew that Sade had snatched up the child in his claws. She listened to the sadist's words as he threatened his victim, just like he had done to her. His jolly singing made the fur down her back frill up, but his departing footfalls were wondrous to her drooping ears. When she was sure it was safe she dared to grasp the edge of the basement staircase and peer up to the top. Just as she thought, Sade had left. Did that mean she had a chance to escape?

She pulled herself back around the corner, returning to the shadows below the basement stairs. It was almost time to leave. She would have sighed, but the sound of her own heart was already giving her enough paranoia. She looked over to Morpheus, to seek out that same courage which helped him to free her. To seek comfort in that black scar which at one time had also held an eye. She had one of her hands over her horrible wound, if only for the sake of helping to slow its bleeding. Reluctanty drawing her compassionate gaze from her friend she looked to Shaka. He had been listening to the same sounds as her, and as her eye met with his he gave a nod of approval. Soon. He mutely mouthed to her. Just a moment longer. As she waited for that precious moment of escape, Tsukiko found herself to be shivering. From her fear, from the cold basement, from her nearly incredible pain. A pain which she was surprised she had not fainted from already. She was fortunate that her eye had been opened when Sade had used the drill, for she could still partially shut it. But the blood seeped through the gap, and it was beginning to run down her hand as a light and steady creek of red. She pressed harder with her palm, and clenched the parted lids as closely as possible. It was bleeding out so fast, and her nervous heart was only making it worse. But it could not be helped right now. First Morpheus, then Narron, then Shaka, and then herself.

The long leafy fronds of Sade's tail irritably flick from side to side, sweeping trails in the thick layer of dust that coats the floor as he clacks his horned beak.
Slippery little things had managed to break loose. If they got word out to other living all the practice he'd put into his charming act would have been for nothing!
The Sceptile's golden eyes scan for signs of where the two might have gone and picks up the signs of footprints in the dust.
Still cheerfully whistling his tune the Grass Type follows the marks of footprints down the corridor still filled with the oozing corpses of cut and fried golbats. Edging around a blood splatter Sade feels his gaze being drawn to the wooden stairs extending up to the second floor.
Oh, this was just perfect. If they had run up there they would be trapped and completely at his mercy. He wouldn't even have to take them down to the Basement. After being torn away from his fun so early he would tear them apart quickly just for the instant gratification.
His pecha berry pink tongue swiping along his angular jaws the Sceptile tentatively tests a stair with his weight. The old wood creaks but holds. It isn't as rotten as it looks.
Still continuing his eerie tune the Grass Type slowly strides up the stairs, dragging his hooked claws along the lacquered banister.
The Sceptile plucks at the singed fabric of his coat. For all the care he lavished upon it the poor garment was looking worse for wear. After his fun he will have to repair as much of the damage as he could, not because he had any sentimental attachment to the now uncomfortably tight garment but because of its usefulness.
'I see trees of green........ red roses too
I see 'em bloom..... for me and for you
' he thinks as he whistles his way through the tune.
A comforting warmth glows in his stomach as he thinks of the way Tsukiko had screamed when he drilled out her eye.
Forcing the door open the Sceptile darts in to the darkened room above, a brutal hunger clearly showing on his face.
He hoped the Pichu screamed as sweetly as the Pikachu did...

Morpheus listened quietly as the demon sade stalked away, shuddering with fright because of the ominous whistling that made its way down the stairs. The cries of another child causing him to stop for a moment just to cry. He kept strong though, knowing that he had to get out, to help Tsukiko. He kept close to her side, knowing that the pain was incredible, and that the blood loss would make her weak.

"W-We have to leave now Tsukiko..." He whispered so quietly that he could barely be heard.

    Doorway|Late Noon (43)

Narron was unable to find anyone at first, he walked around, following the first path he saw. He thought he heard a whistling sound, and looked around, unable to see the source of it, Narron assumed it had echoed from somewhere else. The tune had a creepy vibe to it, and Narron knew that it was not simply the wind, someone had been whistling a tune, a very creepy tune under the circumstances.

Narron decided to stick to the shadows, checking turns before he went around, turning often to make sure nobody was there. He felt uneasy, however, after what had happened in this place, he was sure anyone would. A creek sounded nearby, and he felt like perhaps it was in the same place as the whistling had come from.

Narron slowly advanced towards the door, old, rotting steps stood, a flight going up, and one going down, blood slightly spattered on some steps, and fresh footprints, with dust having been recently moved. Before Narron stepped in, he felt a surge of fear pulse through him, and fell back. After all that had happened, Narron couldn't handle any more he began to feel like he was having a breakdown. He crumbled up against a wall, and began sobbing softly. Why was everything happening to him.

It was at that point that Narron realized that it wasn't. It wasn't all happening to him, it was all happening to everyone around him, other than a few battles, nothing had actually happened to him but his friends had disappeared, died, and gone missing in this town.

Narron stood up, barely able to handle his overpowering fear, and walked through the doorway, out of fear, and into a shadowy room, which would hopefully lead to his survival, a life of pure fear was not living, but confronting his fear, maybe that way he could truly survive.

    Celestic Town Far Edge|Late Noon|2
Sparks wailed, as loud as she could, then stopped as a strange plant nearby lumbered away. A plant that could move? On closer examination of it's drifting scent, she realized it was a fellow pokemon. Getting to her paws despite the crippling pain, she scrabbled towards it in a frenzy. "Mama? Papa?" she called. The wound in her leg pulsed with pain, oozing out a dark liquid. "Not blood..." She turned around to give it a lick, pausing when she noticed the faint purple tint in the flesh around it. "Pretty color!" she chirped.
    "Kill it."
"N-no... Sparks doesn't want to kill... Sparks wants Papa..."
"You fucking idiot. It's not your father. It's not even a pokemon in your fucking egg group. Kill it. Now."
"Sparks will decide... No one else will decide for Sparks..." She squirmed uncomfortably. Her head pounded as she continued to argue with the other pokemon in her head. "Why are you not my friend anymore, poke-mon in my head?"
"Shut the hell up and kill the useless fucker walking away from you. He doesn't see you."
"No...Sparks does not like you. Sparks does not want to listen, Sparks does not want to listen..."
"You think you can get rid of me? You're wrong. I'll be back you little fucker, you win... this time at least."
Feeling stronger, she propelled herself towards the planty-pokemon with her hind legs, and continued scrabbling after it. "pApA..." she whispered, as it walked through an opening, into a human dwelling area. She scrabbled after the pokemon, into a shadowy room filled with the scent of fear.
A whisper at the back of her mind. She tried to turn away from the scary room, tried to run away, but her paws weren't moving for her. She felt her own paws push herself upright, against her will, and she moved stiffly into the room. "S-stop it..." She had lost control. Stupid, stupid Sparks. She was too weak, just like Mama and Papa and Sissy and Brother had said. It was all over now. She felt the inner-pokemon grab control, and her mind began to repeat the two words she had heard so often.

    ◊◊◊ | Celestic Town [Northern house; basement] | Afternoon | Shaka :: 45 Tsukiko :: 30 | ◊◊◊

"We have to leave now." Tsukiko nods in agreement, emerging from beneath the stairs. She takes the first step upwards, then the second step, and then the third, gingerly touching the boards even as she begins to speed up her ascent. Morpheus remained diligently at her side, which gave her courage. But she had to keep one hand against the rail, just to keep herself from falling over from her pained disorientation.

She had forgotten about the corpses at the top of the stairs, and upon reaching there she grimaces at the scene. Blinking hard and controlling her disgust, she looks to the left and to the right: to a window straight across the leftwards kitchen and to the open front door in the rightwards living room. She felt a brisk breeze coming from the window sitting straight across from the hall, at the other end of the kitchen. Sade should less expect them to escape from that way, wouldn't he? She nodded from Morpheus to the window, and began to navigate the hall of corpses.

But she suddenly stopped. There was a creeping feeling, the sense that someone else was in the house. Far behind her, she could hear something. Frightened, she threw her gaze over her shoulder only to see an unmistakable Ivysaur with a blue bulb-tip standing in the doorframe.

Even as she stood there, looking pathetic with that red right hand trying to coneal her bloodied right face, her heart was filled with hope. She immediately began to towards his direction. All she wanted to do right now was charge straight across the room and tackle him over with a hug. However, she stumbled carefully while waving to him with her unstained arm. As she passed by the stairs to the second floor her gaze browsed their top. There was nothing there; there was only the sound of footfalls and an eerie tune whistling from above. She gestured to Narron with a quivering finger for him to remain silent.

Tsukiko momentarily froze up when another person entered through the front doorway. It was a pachirisu. She felt sympathetic for its state. But now was not the time for sympathy, only action. Tsukiko urged Narron with a silent gesture, to come across the living room and meet with her. The Glaceon was always listening, always watching. And it would return soon.

Tsukiko was beginning to quiver from weakness, even as she tried to keep her posture firm. The numbing adrenaline was fading quickly, and it was getting ever more difficult for her not to fall to the ground and wail in agony.

((OOC -- Not sure if you want Tsukiko to realize Sparks is infected right now, LittleBlueSkye. I will edit it if you need me to.))

'I see skies of blue..... clouds of white
    Bright blessed days....dark sacred nights
And I think to myself .....what a wonderful world.
' The large green scaled reptile whistles clearly, hoping the noise filters down to the prisoners below and inspires fear in them.
The scent of this room offended his nose; musty dead air and dust.
Sade drags a green claw tip across the hard varnished wood of the banister, drawing a tiny trail though the thick grey dust that had settled there. The room is nearly completely dark as the Sceptile stalks over to the window and grabs the thick ostentatious drapes in hand, tearing them free from the grimy paned window and letting light stream across the room.
Under a coating of dust delicate pink containers of facial cream and lipstick lie on a vanity table as the faint gleam of a mirror reflects his tattered lab coat and bloodied claws.
    A bedroom, a woman's bedroom.
His bright yellow eyes a gleam the Sceptile curious examines the four-poster bed that takes up most of the room.
Plush velvet, like the curtains in an elegant shade of plum, with gold braided ropes hung around the top. The elegant cloth was grey with dust and peppered with tiny holes where insects had gnawed at each curtain. The golden ropes were frayed and unraveling. This door had been closed for a long time before he stepped in here and the room reeks of the sweet rot of old flesh and decayed perfumes.

Tiptoeing across the dusty floor, feeling the floorboards creak under his clawed feet, Sade brushes aside the curtains from the four poster bed and smiles to himself.
"Good morning Princess." He says softly.
Empty sockets from a shrunken skinned corpse stare back up at him as the rancid scent of dead dried flesh meets Sade's nose.
A dried head hand like a withered mummy's dangles over the side of the bed, fingers shrunken to the bone looking like the segmented legs of a spider. A ring of gold set with a large blue stone graces the ring finger.
Sade takes the clawed hand in his own, hearing the dried skin tear as he hauls the corpse to its feet. Blankets fall to the ground as Sade continues to hum a tune.

The human's hair is white and spreads out across the pillow in waves, now it falls behind the shriveled body as Sade holds the dried bones close to his body.
Vertebrae cracked in the aged spine.
"Shall we dance my lady?" He asks to the blank eyed skull, manipulating it like a macabre puppet to nod as the deranged Sceptile drops into a waltz.
'I see trees of green........ red roses too
I see em bloom..... for me and for you
And I think to myself.... what a wonderful world.
    '
With a grin Sade dances with the withered corpse, hearing the bony claws of withered feet across the floorboards in mockery of a romantic dance.
Romantically dipping his partner down the last few shreds of skin holding the corpses head on finally break and it drops to ground.
Bored now his toy is broken Sade drops the rest of the body, giving the dried skeletal head a good kick to send it bouncing down the stairs before him.

((OOC: It's been late noon for a while, maybe we could move it forwards a little bit))

Morpheus stayed close to Tsukiko. She needed help, and he was so scared. He was scared that Sade would come back, that Tsukiko would die, that more demons would come, that he would be alone again, that they would all be lost...

As they reached the top of the stairs, Tsukiko gestures weakly to the window across the hall. He nods in understanding, then hovers further from the ground in order to keep away from the corpses that littered the hall. He made his way towards the window, now feeling hopeful that they could escape. Their freedom was so close, But something was wrong. Tsukiko froze, then stumbled away. She was headed towards the front entrance where a big green pokemon with a plant on its back stood. He followed, scared of the new creature, but trusting that it was a friend from Tsukiko's reaction.

Maybe... Maybe it can help us... Tsukiko seems to know it...He thought, catching up with the mouse. Morphueus pressed close to her, keeping as quiet as he could before hearing something thump down the stairs. He turned to look, and couldn't stop himself from letting out a loud scream.

    Doorway|Afternoon (44)

Narron saw the Pikachu from earlier-Tsukiko-and recognized it immediately, though something was clearly different. It wasn't until it made a sign to say 'be quiet' that Narron realized, one of it's arms had red, sticky blood all through it, and it was covering one of it's eyes.

Tsukiko urgently signalled for him to come over, and so Narron took great care to be silent as he made his way to her, though he wondered why she had hesitated momentarily before signalling. As Narron moved forward, a few floorboards creaked, quiet creaks, which Narron hoped no one would hear.As Narron continued, he heard more singing. He was getting more and more nervous, the singing so eerie, making him feel doomed, haunted. Destined to die.

Narron made it to Tsukiko, and very quietly, whispered, asking her what had happened, why she was bleeding, where was Shaka. The questions all rambled out at once, becoming a blur of words from all questions mixed, no single questions discernible from the rambling confusion of Narron.

Suddenly, the singing stopped as something from above. Narron looked up, but there was nothing to be seen. A clunking came from the stairs, which Narron at first believed to be their antagoniser, moments from finding them.

His heart began pounding, and he felt as if he was dying of fear. It was thenm that he noticed a Pachirisu, with bloodied wounds at the doorway. Narron was noticed the corpses earlier, and wondered what had done that, was it the being from above? The one descending on them now?

    Clunk. Clunk. Clunk.

As something rolled off of the stairs, Narron felt like a million pounds had been lifted off of his shoulders, and he felt much calmer. That feeling didn't last long as he realized that someone was up there. Skulls don't just drop down the stairs on their own. Something kicked it down. Something alive. Or dead his mind echoed.

The skull had not been something to calm him, he felt now only more terror, why a skull? Why did it send a skull down? Narron fought hard to control himself and not scream and run for his life. He had done enough running and knew that this was it. He had to confront his fears and this demon.

But first, Tsukiko looked badly injured, and needed to hide, as did the Pachirisu. They looked in no condition to be fighting something as, sadistic as this. Narron looked at the window which they stood near, and only then saw that a Shuppet stood with them. He wasn't sure whether it could fight or not, but didn't want to take the chance. He'd already made enough mistakes.

    "Out, now!"

Narron whispered, not wanting to return to anywhere near the stairs. He pointed with his vines at the window which had already been their escape plan, not wanting them in any danger, he opened with his vines, the window creaking open.

    "Shall my eyes glow red...
    You are all counted dead."

    "L-leave Sparks...Leave Sparks alone...LEAVE SPARKS ALONE!"
Her head wanted to explode, and the pain as she struggled increased when her leg began to bleed again.
"LEAVE ME ALONE! LEAVE SPARKS ALONE!"
She glanced around, wildly, and noticed the plant pokemon huddled with a floating bluish-purple pokemon, and two other pokemon in the back.
Out of the last two pokemon, one looked like Mama.
    "MAMA!" She shrieked. "MAMA!"
She writhed in pain, and lifted one paw, then the other, slowly limping towards her. As she neared the two pokemon, she was struck with realization.
"Y-you aren't Mama..." She coughed, and a thin trail of blood trickled out of her mouth. She shouldn't have shouted herself hoarse over a false Mama. A FALSE MAMA.
"YOU BITCH! YOU AREN'T MAMA! YOU'RE FAKE! HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO ME!
    Clunk.
A skull had tumbled into the room, from somewhere above. She took one look at it and slammed her tail into it.
"This is what I'll do to you too, mama."
She giggled. She was having so much fun. And she was in control, for once, without that whiny wimp fighting against her. Weak little bitch.
    "Out, now!"

Her mental voice rang at the same time as the plant pokemon's, the same words. She sobbed uncontrollably, and pushed herself to go after the Mama pokemon.
"MAMA!" she sobbed, "MAMA, DON'T LEAVE ME!"
She felt her vision begin to blur, and then, she saw nothing but pain.

((I think not realizing she's infected is better, her wounds don't have a lot of discoloration yet, it's only been a few days. And not sure if I should edit, I found this a good time to activate her multiple personalities.))

    ◊◊◊ | Celestic Town [Northern house; basement] | Late Noon | Shaka :: 45 Tsukiko :: 31 | ◊◊◊

She whispered to each of Narron's questions in suit. "Th-thank Victini you're here, Narron. Shaka's in the basement. Th-the glaceo--No, no, no." Tsukiko blinked hard to drive away the thoughts of that subconscious demon. She quickly resumed talking. "M-my eye. Sade did this to me. He tied us up, and wants to kill us. We need--."

She threw her head towards the source of a sudden voice, with her eyes agape. She tensed down when she realized it was the pachirisu. The squirrel was crying for her, for her. It was limping, shouting out the word mama over and over again. Tsukiko's breath stiffened as it stood just a pikachu tail's length away from her. "You're not mama...." She gazed at the squirrel sorrowfully, until she was interrupted by an ominous noise.

Something was crashing its way down the second-floor stairs. Each thump made her heart rattle. Tsukiko remained close to Narron and Morpheus as each tumble brought The Glaceon closer to them. But it landed on the ground and rolled aimlessly -- it was just a Human head. But somehow it was even worse for her than seeing Sade. Morpheus did not take it well, either. Tsukiko flinched and her ears pulled back as the poor child screamed at what he saw.

Before Morpheus could cry any more, Tsukiko turned at him. With gentle haste she threw her arms around the Shuppet and yanked him into a close embrace. She held him with a surrogate tightness, her head upon his metaphorical shoulder. And refusing to let go even after he stopped crying. His fabric body was cold, but she did not care. "It's okay, M....Morpheus. I-its... It's just a skull..... Don't cry. You're braver than me. Because I want to cry just as much as you do." She patted him upon his back, as she would to a close friend. As she held him she looked to the Pachirisu, who seemed to take a strange interest in the dehydrated head.

She had her paw upon the skull, a long and contemptuous grin on her face. "YOU BITCH! YOU AREN'T MOMMA! YOU'RE FAKE! HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO ME!" Tsukiko was already too scared to show any more fear. But the squirrel's continuing outburst was still hurting her. Tears were welling in her only remaining eye and it was getting difficult to hold them back. Tsukiko flinched as the squirrel swatted away the skull.

Narron whispered to her, urgency in his voice. "Out, now!" She nodded to him. "I....Imsorry." She choked, the tears finally running forth before she turned and went with Narron down the hall. Tsukiko was still embracing Morpheus between her arms, with his head positioned comfortably upon her shoulder. She would support her friend for as long as it took him to recover. "Just until you recover." She compassioniately told him. His support was her's, and they would get through this together.

Tsukiko began to hear footsteps. Was she only hallucinating them? There were Footsteps upstairs. The Footsteps of The Sadist. Returning for His victims. Ready for another Experiment. Tsukiko rushed after Narron as he went into the kitchen. As he pried open the window she made no hesitation to grab one of the vines and tug urgently on it. She was doing her best not to yell to him, even as she wept in fear of what she knew was coming. "N-Narron. Shaka's still in the basement! He needs help. If we leave, Sade will murder him."

Behind her, she could only faintly hear the cries of the pachirisu. It burned her to hear each one, and she tried desperately to ignore it not because she wanted to, but because it reminded her too much of her painful past. All of the people she gave that name to are dead.

Kind, warm arms wrapped around Morpheus, holding him close to the injured Pokémon that they belonged to. The fear from the latest scare caused his sheet-like body to tremble, and he pressed close to Tsukiko, feeling safer in her arms.

    "Out, now!"

The whisper from the large plant-like pokemon assured him that it wasn’t a demon come to harm them. He felt a little better now that it seemed that they would be able to leave this horrible place. Not moving to get away from Tsukiko’s arms, he tried to calm himself down.

"Just until you recover." She assured him, and he tried to nod in reply. They could get through this, right? Everything would be fine… Sis protects me, she always has. He repeated to himself over and over. She’ll protect us, and we’ll get out. He continued to repeat the words in his mind in a desperate attempt to calm himself as footsteps could be heard above.

"N-Narron. Shaka's still in the basement! He needs help. If we leave, Sade will murder him."

That’s right; the big mouse was still trapped. They now had help… But his mind begged him to stay away from the dark basement.

Throughout this whole time, the screams and angry yells from the squirrel seemed to torment him, while causing a spark of anger within him. A lesson from his mother came to mind as it yelled horrible things to the mouse. It shouldn’t talk to Tsuki like that. That was mean.

"N-Narron. Shaka's still in the basement! He needs help. If we leave, Sade will murder him."

    "What!?"

Narron knew he had no option. He had to save Shaka, there was no way he could just leave him behind, for Sade to kill. Narron felt so stupid. At one point he had believed that Sade was that same Pokémon in the forest, but he made a fool of himself, and then believed hewas wrong. If only he had put up a fight, an argument, and killed Sade then and there, rather than waiting till now for them all to be injured, both physically, and emotionally. Sade was truly sick, and demented.

"Once we're out, we can rest, then we can get him, for now, no! We need to save him now, you're right. Once you two are out, then I'll try and get him out. Look at yourselves, so injured, you would serve better purpose outside, resting. You're in no condition to go back in there."

Tsukiko tugged fervently at Narron's vines, and soon enough, the window popped open. Narron told them immediately to hop out, and run, take care of each other, and when they're healed, then, and only then, they could come check if everyone had made it out alive, except for Sade.

    "Sh-shit."
The metallic tang of the squirrel's blood was in it's throat. Sharing a body was so dumb. This squirrel's mind shouldn't have lasted long with all the pressure It had exerted on it. Despicable bitch. For all It cared, everyone could die. And It could have absolute reign, with it's fellow insane comrades, in a world of beautiful blood and carnage. Blood and carnage. A deranged smile crawled onto the squirrel's face. Utter control. Utter insanity. What beauty. The being grinned. It felt the electricity collect inside the squirrel's cheek pouches as a feeling of utter joy at the control burst out in It's deranged mind. It was all powerful. It would rule the world.

They were escaping It. Running away from It. Holding a bone fragment of the skull that It had shattered, It began to run after them, blood filling the air as the squirrel's injured leg tore once more. The stink of death and rotting flesh. It oh so relished it.

"Trying to go out of the window, little missies? Doesn't matter to me, but stay here," It purred through the squirrel's damaged throat. A squirrel purring. What a sight to see. "Stay here, because-"

"Shaka's still in the basement!" The statement caught It off guard. Another to be victim? What a wonderful place this squirrel had taken It to.
"Stayyyy," It purred. "Stay mama, and I will have a true family again."

It hoped they couldn't notice the malicious gleam in It's eye, and the slowly disappearing grin on It's face.

    -----------------
Sparks wasn't awake. Sparks was drifting in the pretty, dark, galaxy in her mind. Sparks didn't want to wake up. Sparks didn't want to. Mama wasn't here. But Mama wasn't in the real world either. Sparks imagined up a fake Mama. Fake Mama would keep her company in this imaginary world of hers. Fake Mama was just like real Mama.

[[Long post is long post. Sparks is zoned out, and in her quiet imaginary dream world. It is the other guy in her brain.]]

    ◊◊◊ | Celestic Town [Backyard of Northern House] | Late Noon | Shaka :: 45 Tsukiko :: 32 | ◊◊◊

Narron's reply distracted her from the pachirisu. Tsukiko listened to him attentively,  eagerly taking his plans to thought. He seemed too desperate to just leave, but it was pleasant to hear him correct himself and say that they should save Shaka first before themselves.

But she became crestfallen when he began to tell her that she and Morpheus should leave. Even if she was horribly injured, Narron still needed her help! What is this fear that controls me? All of this blood loss is deluding my desperate mind.... or is it? Oh Legends, I do not knoooow! All the while she conflicted, she could feel the cold outside caress her back while it hummed a tender song about how close she was to freedom. No! I cannot leave Narron to -- "Look at yourselves, so injured, you would serve better purpose outside, resting. You're in no condition to go back in there."

Her damaged eye agreed with his statement. She whimpered quietly and shuddered as  it began to burn lightly and a small drop of blood wept from the closed eyelid. It spattered to the ground and the patch of carpeting below her thirstily sucked it in.  I cannot stay here.... She would get in the way. Then she remembered that she was still holding Morpheus, how he was still very much scared of the situation just like her. Why had she not thought about him? I'm so selfish.

"I-I..." Her eyes once against crept to the squirrel. "Stayyyy. Stay mama, and I will have a true family again." Should she stay? She was so unsure that it was giving her a bad headache. All of these things were being brought to mind so fast they were actually leaving her winded. Did the pachirisu really want her to stay? It seemed insane.

Even though it only took her seconds to come to a decision, it seemed to her as if she had been arguing over the fates of all of her companions for minutes. Again, there sounds of footfalls. Do not run little child. The glaceon whispered in her ear, his winter breath withering her soul as his needled fur brushed her side just hard enough to draw blood. I promise I will not hurt you..... much. Just as quickly as her delusion had started, Tsukiko had snapped out of it. "Go get Shaka. P-please, Narron...." She gulped and shuddered a sobbing gasp, before she turned around to leave. But she hesitated, and before she did anything else she knelt down. Since her arm was too bloody to give a hug, she reached down and pecked Narron on the head with a lick of gratitude. Parting his company she looked to a nearby chair. Tsukiko clambered on top of it with her free hand. Upon reaching the top, she reached over to the windowsill. It took plenty of effort but she pulled herself up. Thankfully she was too light for the chilling wood to break under her weight. When she looked outside she hesitated at her freedom. Was it really so close? She forced herself into a difficult leap and fell outside.

She hit the ground on both feet, managing to nearly collapse forward onto her face. As soon as the shock of the landing was gone she looked up. After a quick throw of her head she saw a building at the northwest part of the town. She immediately ran towards it. She wanted to help Narron so badly. But she would have just gotten in the way. The grass beneath felt so soft, an all too comforting contrast to the dead wood and concrete of that nightmare house. She hugged Morpheus just a little tighter knowing that for now they could breathe. But something came up, and it filled her with guilt. "M-Morpheus. Did I make the right decision? Didyou.... did you want to come with me?" Has she made the right decision for her friend as well as for everyone else?

'And I think to myself .....what a wonderful world.' The sharp whistled notes float through the air as the Sceptile agilely leaps down stairs. His forehead furrows as he crosses his arms and he makes a small "tsk" sound.
Ah this was defiantely not wonderful.
The sceptile's yellow eyes gleam malevolently as he takes the stairs three at a time and swiftly leaps forwards to try and cut off his prisoner's escape.
The window slams shut behind them as Sade yanks it down and cuts off the escape of any more of his prisoners. The Pikachu drops to the ground below and Sade hisses irritably. At least he'll be able to track her down later, the empty eye leaving behind a dripping trail of red as she runs away.
Foolish, foolish thinking on his part. It had been so long since he had last had so many new experiments he had entirely forgotten to make sure the area was completely secure allowing the one thing he had not accounted for to ruin all his best laid plans. His situation would be hard to rememdy...
Turning Sade's forearm glows with the light of a Leaf Blade as the leaves glow and extend in a white light blade that seems to be dangerously sharp.
He blinks lazily, hiding his surprise at seeing the Ivysaur back behind a mask of cool indifference.
"So you came back..." He says mildly, taking a step forwards with his arm held outstretched. "That was a mistake on your part...But rather fortunate on mine."
SAde's reptilian grin is enough to make the skin crawl as he raises his other hand and rubs it over his angular head.
"You know in a way this is rather my fault, I get too caught up in the moment sometimes and I forget everything can't be perfect."
Sade takes another step forwards, the bloodied floorboards creaking under his clawed feet.
The scattered corpses of Golbats, their empty red eyes glazed over, seem to stare up at him accusingly as Sade licks his tongue over his lips.
"So here's what I'm going to do." He says in a breathy whisper. I'm going to cut off your vines and your legs and leave you with Shaka while I hunt down the others. If you're lucky you'll bleed to death and if I'm lucky you'll still be concious by the time I get back." Now the Ivysaur has seen this place Sade cannot allow him to leave. The Pikachu was already weakened by her wound and the Shuppet was a child but if Narror or Shaka managed to escape he would have to shift towns to a place where no-one had cause to be suspicious of him.
Grass Type against Grass Type, a balanced battle but one Sade was determined would go his way.
Leaping forwards with a tatter of white cloth billowing out behind him Sade puts his high speed to good use.
Bladed leaves a glow with a Leaf Blade and hooked claws starting to shine with a Crush Claw Sade leaps into action in an attempt to drive Narron away from the window and down to the basement below.
His hooked claws gouge scratches in the aged wood as he pushes off the floorboard.
A pecha berry pink tongue swipes hungrily along the hard curve of his sharp beak.

Narron was happy as Morpheus and Tsukiko managed to escape, and barely heard a word the Pachirisu had said, he was so confused, who was the Pachirisu? Why was it calling Tsukiko it's mother? Narron decided that those questions had to wait as the window which Morpheus and Tsukiko made it through slammed shut, and Narron focused, returning back to earth. Sade.

Narron stood in fear, as Sade described his sickening plan to Narron. Cut off his feet and vines? Why was he doing this?

"Why are you doing this to all of us? What have we done to deserve it? All we've done is help you, we helped you against the Gardevoir, so why do you do this to us?"

Narron cried at the Sceptile, who leaped at him with crush claw and Leaf Blade both being used, knowing that if he stood still, he would die, Narron dodged the attack, rolling out of the way, and stood and ran as fast as he could. Shaka was his best bet, perhaps if he could free Shaka, he could aid him in the battle?

Narron sent multiple razor leaves behind him hoping that they were going towards Sades direction, Narron didn't dare to look back and see where he was aiming, lest he didn't like what he found.

There! Narron saw the stairs to the basement, Shaka. Safety. Those words spiraled through his head, as he turned into, and stumbled down, the stairs to the basement.

She was taken out of her dream suddenly, by a sudden flurry of noise. She looked around, dazed. Where was mama? She had been there moments ago.
"MAMA!" she sobbed. "MAMA, DON'T LEAVE ME!"
She tried to launch herself outside, but her legs exploded in pain.
    "MAMA IT HURTS!"
    "MAMA!"
    "Mama...."
Forgetting all about the pain, in a wild rush of desperation, Sparks threw herself into the outside world once more.
A splatter of blood, then she began to limp towards where mama was.

The Grass Type chuckles, a deeply disturbing sound as he swings his Leaf Blade attack up to defend himself, slashing at the sharp edged leaves sent whirling clumisly towards him and sending their severed halves fluttering pathetically to the floor.
The Sceptile crushes them underfoot as he steps forwards again.
The pure note of despair in the Ivysaur's shouted words excites him so. Narron, brave little Ivysaur and Shaka the calm Raichu. It would be fitting to break them together. He would start on Narron and then make Shaka watch but not kill him; not until the fear had fully sunk in and he had bought his other test subjects to heel. Blood of the Pikachu slowly drying on the sharp claws of his hands Sade feels his heart beat faster. Oh it was so exciting, so very exciting. He hadn't had such a wonderful hunt in so long.
His tongue swipes across the edge of his beak once again. They would suffer, he would make them suffer and then at the end of it he'd have a feel moments of blissful ectasy from their last dying gasps.
Yes...first he'd remove the Ivysaur's limbs and let him bleed to death while he had some more fun with Tsukiko and made Shaka watch and after the Raichu was so wrapped up in his hatred and bloodlust he couldn't think straight Sade would take his time making him feel true agony.
The thought sends shivers down the Sceptile spine.
"Why?" He says softly, his golden eyes gleaming as he continues to move forwards, the glow of a Crush Claw still shining on the edge of his fingers.
The shape of Narron fleeing makes a wide target for one of his special moves but Sade doesn't want to risk it when the Ivysaur is so close to the basement door.
So close to being trapped with nowhere to hide...
Eagerly Sade's hooked claws twitch, desperate to once more be bathed in blood.
    "Because I enjoy it."
