History | As an Eevee Glitch was brought to a laboratory to be evolved into a Jolteon and help charge the building along with a handful of other electric types. Once he was transformed, the newly evolved Jolteon was rushed into relentless training so that he could learn the move Thunder asap. The TM would have been easier, but the scientists believed the natural learning of the move made it more powerful. After an incident where one of the generators exploded, Glitch was blinded for a few weeks, though his memory of it is blurred. When he awoke he had black markings under his eyes and the spiked fur on his rear. He also had new accessories, four magnet earrings, and two silver cuffs on his front paws. Years went by and the Jolteon grew into a strong electric type, learning the required move to power the generator. One day though when he was allowed outside to rest, he got a chilling feeling and the air and trees stirred, like something was coming, something bad. A few weeks later they were attacked. Hoards of red eyed pokemon descended on the laboratory, their flesh smelling of death and decay. Him and three other pokemon were the only ones to escape the slaughter, the other pokemon and humans were demolished. As the other three pokemon fled as far as they could from the lab, Glitch stayed near the edge of the forest that surrounded the area and waited until the strange acting pokemon had left before venturing back in. What berries the poor pokemon had ate that morning were quickly dumped out of his stomach as he viewed all the blood and carnage, the indistinguishable remains of pokemon and humans, mixed. He tried to avoid walking on the remains and blood, but his paws soon became soaked in red. The electric type walked around until he finally found a computer that hadn't been to badly damaged and charged it with a thunder attack. Glitch had watched the humans over the years, earning and memorizing how they used their equipment. But even with that knowledge it was still difficult for the Jolteon to use the keyboard, not having fingers and all. After a frusterating hastle of typing and backspacing, he managed to find information about the strange pokemon, about the epidemic. Glitch didn't understand all of the human's writing, but was able to pick out major pieces like 'aggressive pokemon loose' 'destruction and deaths mounting' 'abandon pokemon' 'shoot on sight'. The pieces he gathered only confused him though, and didn't explain the pokemon's strange behavior, or that they were infected; more importantly that other pokemon could get infected. His research was hauled when an odd looking Nedoking came lumbering in, red eyes sunken into it's exposed skull. Terror gripped the electric type as he quickly dodged a horn attack. While he poison ground type was trying to free it's horn, Glitch made a mad dash for the exit, leaving the lab behind for good. A few weeks later he found himself in the Viridian Forest where he met a group of normal pokemon. He remained with them for a few days before they started acting strange around him, saying that he had been killed. He doesn't remember the attack, just the pain, coldness, then sudden warmth as he woke up, though he was a few moments shy of seeing the legendary bird Ho-Oh who brought him back. After that he found himself on a deserted island with few living pokemon. It seemed like as soon as he arrived the shaky group dispersed again, leaving him with a small Houndour, and an intelligent undead as he soon learned what they were called. But even that was temporary, the dark fire pup disappearing in the night and the undead being killed by a Harbinger. This left Glitch alone again. After a lot of traveling and battles, the Jolteon once again found himself in the company of other living pokemon. However it wasn't as charming as the other encounters he had experienced before. The leading pokemon was a dictator, a cold tyrant, and one of which Glitch didn't spend too much time getting to know. As soon as he had the chance, he slipped away and began traveling by himself. |
Appearance | Glitch has two markings underneath his eyes. He has no recollection of getting them. The only thing that he remembers is that there was a lot of pain, and that he couldn't see for a few weeks. The piercings in his ears are small magnets which help boost his electric attacks. The metal cuff he wears on his front paw is a mystery. He has faint scars on his legs side, and stomach from when he was attacked by a harbinger. |
Personality | Reserved, Glitch is very reserved, normally liking to keep to himself. But don't that that fool you, he has a kind heart and is always willing to help a pokemon in need. When the time calls for it, he can be very patient, but don't push your luck, unless you would like a nasty shock. |
User Notes | -Since the Epidemic began he has become more cautious, wanting to think things such as actions through before making a move. -keeps others at a distance and tries not to get attached to anyone cause they either die or leave. -is very protective -can be patient, though it comes in a very small amount -blunt -he has somewhat of a temper, though he normally keeps it under check -has amnesia about life before the power plant due to generator explosion as well as his death by a harbinger -is very tech knowledgeable (computers, generators, etc) |
