| Appearance | "Leafeon is a mammalian, quadruped Pokémon. Its body is tan with dark brown paws. It has several green sprouts growing all over it with the longest one on its head. Leafeon's ears and tail have a leafy appearance. This Pokémon’s cellular structure is similar to plants, which allows it to perform photosynthesis and purify the air around it by sleeping under patches of sunshine. It is a pacifistic Pokémon, preferring not to fight." Vanilla has the appearance of a normal Leafeon, with a few minor differences. Vanilla carries herself with a hunched posture when anxious or frightened; but will stand up straight normally. She will typically tilt her head to the side instead of looking straight ahead; an odd quirk that stemmed from her migraines. She is lean but shorter than average, causing her legs to look stumpy on her tiny frame from certain angles. Her eyes, rather than the almond color that Leafeons' usually possess, are blue. In extreme light, however, they gleam a gorgeous silver. She always keeps her quartz necklace around her neck, there is never a time where she removes it. Vanilla also wears a single checkered wristband around her right ankle. |
| Personality | Vanilla is quirky overall. She is shy, yet can be extroverted, leading to an idiosyncratic personality. Vanilla is creative and has the thought process of an educated poet; there is no common sense for this Leafeon, however. She is naive and independent to a point; she prefers to be in a group, but she feels like she does a job best when she's alone. She multitasks frequently. If she sees a stranger, she will rarely approach until they approach her. She is awkward during an introduction, and doesn't speak much at first. It takes a long while for her to feel comfortable around someone new, but when she does, she is loyal until the end. She will stand up to even the strongest of foes for her friends. However, her perception of friendship is unbalanced. She will doubt her companions' feelings towards her; if there is any inkling that they don't like her, then she automatically assumes that she is hated. Due to this, she cannot take criticism, and batters herself when she does wrong. Vanilla apologizes often. She is insecure and feels like she needs to be complimented constantly to feel confident. Once she feels secure in a partnership, however, she is eccentric and fun-loving. She loves jokes, puns, and even dabbles in dark humor on occasion. She has a teasing sharp-tongue when comfortable, however, when it is needed, she will break through her bashfulness to give her opponent a little tongue-lashing. She rarely will fight with anything but words. She will be loud instead of quiet when comfortable, and sometimes will not shut up when excited or frightened. She is always the first to input an idea, even if it may be whispered. She likes feeling like part of a team but mainly keeps to herself. However, if she is relaxed with the ones she is surrounded by, she can be gregarious and downright extroverted. Vanilla is affectionate and secretly loves any action that shows endearment, although she rarely initiates it unless she is feeling very brave. The Leafeon suffers from depression, although she tries to ignore her dismal thoughts with a bubbly facade. The sorrow mainly stems from her loneliness, low confidence, and low self-esteem. She is humble to a fault and believes she is subordinate to everyone, especially males. Due to her abuse, she will become submissive towards others, and will do whatever she can to please them. This isn't only out of the kindness of her heart, but it is also because she is afraid of rejection, although she doesn't like to admit it to herself. Vanilla is still a teenager, meaning she goes through moments of angst and moodiness; and when this is doubled up with her depression, it makes her a sniveling basketcase. During these moments, she will either become reclusive or will become snappy without her usual banter. However, if she realizes she is being rude, she'll try her best to control her raging emotions. She is typically kind and sees the world through a rose-tinted lens. She sees a light within everyone, including the Undead. A balanced and insightful individual, Vanilla is excellent at seeing both sides of an argument and understanding the perception of each party. Vanilla sees symbolism in everything, and strongly believes omens and signs are sent to her frequently. She keeps her quartz necklace close to ward off 'evil spirits.' She is superstitious as well, and will warn you profusely before you walk beneath a ladder or crack a mirror. This ties in with her odd fascination for the macabre--she loves horror, and is drawn to the infected, although she'd never approach unless they were sentient. She suffers from migraines when she is exposed to loud noises or stressful situations, and will become sleepy and snappy sometimes due to this. |
