History | Cairo led a fairly easy, normal life for a shiny pokemon. Generally left alone by his peers and elders, he was a carefree youth throughout his childhood. On a not so very special day, he met a trainer-- an equally optimistic trainer who had no idea of the significance that came with Cairo's unique colors. Catching the little trapinch more as a "why not, it's pretty cute" gesture, it soon became apparent to the trainer what a find Cairo truly was. Taking pride in his random luck, he took the opportunity to train and raise Cairo all the way through his weaker evolutions to a well-deserved flygon. The two got along easily, both trainer and pokemon not seeking power or fame, but simply to see how far they could go. Neither really made a name for themselves, nor did any of the other pokemon on the trainer's team. But they were happy, healthy and content with merely traveling Hoenn and discovering new sights, pokemon, towns and people. They were living for adventure, and it was great. Unfortunately, as they sought new depths and heights, they came across one of the most horrible nightmares to ever stagger its way across the face of the Earth: undead. Unprepared, unlearned and inexperienced, the trainer and his team knew nothing of the disease quickly making its way across the continent. They watched in horror as their friends, their family turned into the very horrors that hunted them. Unable to cope with the loss and fear, Cairo's trainer hung himself as his own Cacturne hunted he and the rest of his team down. Cairo, one of the few survivors, did the only thing he could do-- he fled. It was a long, terrifying flight above the chaos and horror as Cairo escaped the only home he'd ever known to a foreign region, landing at a lake. Though he'd found friends initially in a small kitten and a fellow dragon, it wasn't long until even they were ripped from him as well, eventually hunting he and others down. Their conflict ended in Blackthorne after escaping the Ice Cave, but Cairo's own problems only escalated. Forced to face losing another close friend to the infection, the flygon's poor mind opted to instead forget. Better to live in ignorant bliss than mindful agony. And so, one morning, after seeking shelter in an abandoned small cave, Cairo woke remembering little more than his own name. Bart started life as a bait pokemon in an illegal fighting ring. Not that she cared, since she soon showed herself as more than just bait. After fracturing the face of one of her attackers, she was soon brought up as a fighter rather than a victim. Fight after fight was hers for the taking. She grew quickly and easily in that environment, the lawless violence suitable to her volatile anger and rage. She had a knack for punching other pokemon half to death and the thought of it never truly bothered her. It was early into her final evolution that the ring was shut down, much to her dismay. Picked up by a pokemon shelter, others attempted to train her out of that sort of lifestyle, but by then the damage had already been ingrained into her mind. Her battles were violent and bloody. She refused to be kept in a ball or cage for long; she was simply too much to keep around. The staff agreed to euthanize her, as she was unable to be retrained or rehabilitated, but that was when a miracle occurred-- some other crazy bastards came in and killed everyone else. Drooling bloodied walking corpses took the shelter by surprise, but only managed to spur the young garchomp on. Without the scolding of her new caretakers, she was free to slaughter the attackers. Abandoning all caution, she exploded into the new decaying world with full force, soaking up all the action for her own. Independence was finally hers for the taking, and she loved every moment of it. She soon came across a group in a small little town under the orders of an Eelectross. Though she had fancied herself a lone wolf, it was much simpler letting someone else call the shots as long as they kept her fed, sheltered and entertained. Under his rule, she became little more than a wall of muscle, but it didn't matter much to her. She got food, a place to sleep and faces to punch. Life is good. |
Appearance | Bulbapedia: Bulbapedia:Flygon resembles a slightly insectoid, bipedal dragon. It is primarily light green and has a pair of large rhombus-shaped wings with a red trim, toeless hind legs, and skinny arms with three-clawed hands. Its tail has several dark green stripes and three small green rhombus shapes with red trims at the end. It has large eyes, and a pair of green antennae that point back. The eyes have red covers that prevent sand from getting into its eyes. With its wings, it kicks up sandstorms to hide itself. Its wings make a "singing" sound when they are flapped, earning Flygon the name "The Desert Spirit". It lives in the desert. Cairo is a Nintendo shiny flygon and is also larger and heavier than the average flygon. This allows him to carry more weight into the air than his average kin. His walk is also more of a waddle. Bulbapedia: Garchomp is a bipedal, dragon-like Pokémon that is primarily dark blue, with a red underbelly that covers from the middle of its abdomen, to its jaws, and then to the undersides of its arms. Underneath the red is a gold diamond shape as well a gold cross on its snout. Garchomp has appendages that resemble a jet or plane's engines, giving it an appearance similar to a hammerhead. It has four fins, one on each arm, one dorsal fin and another on its tail that resembles a shark tailfin. It has spikes on its hind limbs and arms as well as sharper claws than its previous evolution. Its eyes have black sclera and gold-colored irises. Its pupils have shrunk. Garchomp can fly at an incredible speed—helped by the fine scales on its body that reduce drag—to catch its prey. Garchomp are cave-dwellers, and are seldom seen in the wild. Bart is of average color, build and weight for her kin, but is often mistaken for a boy because of her ripped dorsal fin. |
Personality | Optimistic| Kind| Timid| Lonely| Eager to Please| Sentimental| Submissive| Easily Flustered| Indecisive| Empathetic| Ethical| Goofy If Cairo were a part of a pack, he would easily be the Omega. Not suited for any sort of leadership role, Cairo feels anxious and stressed when decisions are forced upon him, as he is far more comfortable following a more able leader. Authority is not something he often challenges, as he knows he would be unable to fill that role himself. He is easily scared and is willing to roll over to avoid confrontation. He is content to follow orders as long as he doesn't get hurt or hurt others. He enjoys fulfilling simple tasks and also has a love for children and playing with them. His fighting skills are obviously good enough to keep him alive from even some of the more dangerous enemies, but that is simply from his adequate training from before. His fighting skills now are more edged toward misdirection, trapping and allowing himself to flee rather than full-on combat. Oblivious| Dim-witted| Quick-Tempered| Stubborn| Cruel| Laid-Back| Somewhat lazy| A bit Apathetic| Violent| Obedient to power| Attracted to power| Aggressive Bart is definitely not the brightest crayon in the shed. Most conversation is met with grunts or one-word responses, as she's not the best conversationalist. However, this makes most verbal insults either roll off her back or met with a lethal attack; she will often assume that most words she doesn't understand are "fightin' words" and will act accordingly. Being raised as she was, she respects very few things: a good leader and power. Everything else can go off and eat its own dick, for all she cares. Though she doesn't mind being ruled by a pokemon with both, she will quickly remind anyone else that she isn't a pokemon to fuck around with. Eager to show off her prowess to those that challenge her, Bart is ruthless and cruel in battle, seeking the death or major injury of her challenger. Fights are something she thrives within, and all should be aware to take them as seriously as she does. But once she has found a leader to follow, Bart is surprisingly obedient and loyal. Either too stupid or too oblivious to even think of mutiny, she will often follow her orders to the letter, as long as she understands what those orders are. |
User Notes | -Original profile here. Changed/ updated level, history and personality for obvious reasons. -Can and does use his species' ability to "sing" with rapid flutters of his wings. Is not an actual attack, though. -Name was given to her by her shelter hands. She loathes her full name, and rarely gives it out -Is not offended being called mannish, masculine or a full-out boy. -Father was an Aggron |
