- In the Lost Tower of Route 209, Sinnoh
All that is lost will eventually be found.
Restrictions
- Characters require a past where a loved one or family is still alive.
- Must be okay with your character losing all of their memories and sense of self when the team begins. **
- Although not mandatory, we prefer this team being dedicated and without any characters that would constantly switch out. Pokemon suddenly leaving and coming does not work well with our plot.
**Your character will regain memories and identity as the plot furthers.

The plot begins with the interference of a being who is clearly sadistic, and also has the power to manipulate memories to an extent; therefore, we will seek the assistance of Alhoon or Xatu in starting off our plot, as the other potential candidate, Uxie, is not quite that level of jackass.
The team will awaken either underground or on the lowest floor of the tower should we manage to obtain the Lost Tower as an rp site. In either situation, the whole team will awaken somewhere sealed and impossible to escape, unfortunately even through the use of sheer force.
The first thing they all may realise, other than each other and their strange surroundings, is the fact that none of them are able to recall what had happened to them. Some of them may also remember a flash of glowing, red eyes before blacking out, and nothing else.
Loss of memory essentially includes everything up until just before the beginning of the epidemic; essentially, they will remember their whole lives, but they will have no knowledge of the epidemic occurring. The sealed nature of the tower, and the growing fog as they advance in tower floors should prevent them from finding out until a certain point in the plot, also.
The characters will be allowed a moment to take in their surroundings. However, any confusion will immediately be made worse by the appearance of some undead (reminder, they will have lost their memories of the epidemic, and thus not understand why the undead is acting the way it will by attacking the players). Depending on the nature of the pokémon involved, the team can either end up banding together, or chaos may ensue where every pokémon begins to attack each other to save themselves. Some death may occur, injuries will be definite, and this will either bring the team to a unified front or a scattered set of divisions. Either way, the team will be off to a very shaky start. And so, in that style, the team will move forward, with further conflicts either bringing the team together or splitting it apart further.
***As it was mentioned, it would be highly preferable to have a consistent team, especially to consider the closed nature of the tower for plot purposes. New members coming in would probably be fine, they could've been lying around knocked out in a higher floor of the tower. But since we are striving for a very integral team with relations caused by long-term conflicts and cooperation, it would be very nice to have a consistent roster!***
For the sake of some anticipation and all that jazz, I'll be a bit more vague here; basically, after that point, the newly formed team will slowly begin to ascend the tower, which is the only way available for them to proceed. There will be numerous enemies and challenges as well as many undead, increasing in visual deformity and difficulty. Harbinger visits will also probably be plentiful.
Ascension through the Lost Tower will be mentally and physically taxing for the characters involved, as it plays on their amnesiac nature and will involve a lot of decision-making on the players' parts (to team up, to betray, to trust or to distrust, to question the nature of the undead pokémon that they don't understand and bring suspicion upon each other).
Upon reaching the top of the tower, they will receive a visit from the harbinger who sealed their memories. The top of the tower will be covered in fog, blocking out any visualities in the area, therefore still keeping the team's knowledge of the epidemic in the dark.
At least, until the harbinger rubs the fact that they know nothing in their faces and proceeds to return the memory of all their loved ones dying in the epidemic, that is.
In addition, the team WILL be moving away from the Lost Tower over time; a large portion of the beginning plot will take place throughout the Lost Tower naturally, but once they manage to escape, they WILL move on and explore!
More to come soon! If you're interested, you can always ask questions, prod around a little, or hell, join the team. Just be committed and be ready for plenty of pain and again, very integral rp.
(doooo ittttt.)
**undead, trust and distrust, loss of memory and self, loved ones, no escape
This post was posted with the Träumerei account as we are all participating in creating and shaping the plot. This team's plot has heavy harbinger involvement.
