Water only teams

Would ghost Pokemon be able to join a water only team, on the basis that they can be incorporeal and do not need to breathe?

I would think yes. I mean, they are dead. You can get away with an awful lot when you're dead.

If I may add in my own small question, what about aquatic non-water types?

I was thinking about the likes of Anorith, Cradily, Eelektrik/Eelektross, and other such Pokemon that specify in their Pokedex entries that they are in some way aquatic but are not water-type. Would they be allowed on Water type-only teams?

Anything that is water-type, can use the moves surf or dive, and/or have aquatic habitats can join in my opinion.

The tynamo line would not be accepted though, as they have none of these attributes.

But what about ghosts u:
They can float, and can be roleplayed correctly where they could float through the water, as they have no fear of drowning, and movement would not be an issue.

I PMed Sui about this once, as long as they can survive in water it should be fine. :>

Eelektross live in the ocean, only coming ashore to capture prey. Straight from Bulba.

Hmm. Despite it not being able to learn ANY water moves aside from Rain Dance, I suppose that line would be allowed. Damn Nintendo and their lack of logic.
